342  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Preferred crypto betting site ? on: July 26, 2019, 09:23:13 PM
I suggest 777coin ofcourse.
It can accept some altcoins too, it's established and known a long time now.
You can create a profile without KYC and they also offer instant withdrawal, use my signature if you want and it'll help me too!
343  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How I lost 200,000 EURO on Bitcasino.io on: July 26, 2019, 09:14:44 PM
Sorry but I can hardly believe there would be someone who spent 200.000 on gambling and then casually posts in a forum like he has lost a pen.
But in case this is your real story, then you got to visit a doctor, you're seriously addicted.
344  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Grin | PoW Mining | Electronic transactions for all. Community driven. on: July 26, 2019, 07:07:45 AM
How is hotbit for buying Grin?

Their orders ledgers on GRIN looks healthy, but their trade history is most likely fake (the smallest traded amount is about 150 GRIN and the average is about 400 GRIN per one trade).
If for example you check Bittrex (https://international.bittrex.com/Market/Index?MarketName=BTC-GRIN) you'll notice many small trades of 2-5 GRIN, those could be miners selling or trading other mined coins for GRIN.

If HotBit is faking their volumes, I wouldn't want to support them just because of that.
345  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XRP] Ripple Speculation on: July 26, 2019, 06:59:20 AM
Speculating for the price is fun, but the header from Hodor's last post says it all: "Real Business vs Speculation".
XRP is all about real business. Not many other projects can say the same.

It's also important to distinguish real business vs shallow business... for example Enjin being preinstalled in some Samsung phones is not a real business, it's just a marketing agreement.
For a real business to occur, the project has to be offering something another company or users need and are willing to pay for it.

Ripple does that in many fronts, some of which include XRP.
346  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Storj - Decentralized Storage on: July 26, 2019, 06:52:03 AM
Having a lot of spare space in Google Drive, I wonder if I would be able to use some of this storage for STORJ without bring my PC's network in the middle.
The network speed here is terrible (11 Mbps download and 1.1 Mbps upload).
347  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ARK - DPoS with Dynamic Fees 🔹 New CORE v2🔹 ARK Deployer 🔹 on: July 25, 2019, 06:53:50 PM
You are back to your good old announcement barrage I see! Even though it's summer, you seem to be working hard and efficiently, good job team!
Thanks for supporting and respecting your community and your investors.
348  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: ㉫ ENJIN COIN - World's most Secure Mobile Wallet RELEASED for BTC / LTC / ETH on: July 25, 2019, 06:52:12 PM
Is this wallet can support BEP tokens? A lot of projects are moving to Binance blockchain nowdays for getting listed to Binance DEX.
What about Samsung? As I know they had collaboration with Enjin. Is Samsung has this wallet?

AFAIK Enjin wallet does support the binance chain article here. Yes they also have a collaboration with samsung and enjin wallet is also included in the new s10.
is that means if a new device that will be produced this year will be bundling with enjin wallet? Im using galaxy s10 and i got the only wallet from the samsung company. that's interesting to see more samsung device will put enjin as the main wallet service.

But I wonder... Is this marketing move of having the wallet in Galaxy phones expensive? If they sell ENJ coins to pay Samsung for this, then this better be brining results!  Roll Eyes
349  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: July 25, 2019, 06:59:08 AM
I randomly found that old post of mine from since the last pump started, reminding me how the ones fighting BTC in order to tame it are playing the people.

If this graph is correct, then this is going to be another disaster,
https://coinlib.io/global-crypto-charts#global_money_flow

As long as people trade their real Bitcoins with paper TetherUSD, whoever controls Tether can control BTC's price.
I suppose this difference of flow between fiat (USD, EUR, Yuan etc) and TUSD isn't that huge, but I didn't remember to look at it a few days before when the rally started.

I don't know if using alts would bring any benefit since the prices are still tied with BTC's price, maybe having like 5 to 10 different coins with no correlation to one another and banning USDT and other fiat-supported fake coins from exchanges would help.
Unfortunately the main users of crypto are people with little or no idea on how economies and the leaders of this world operate. Sure, there are some exceptions, but even among the whales there are many who became whales by accident and not by knowledge and skills.

I'm sorry for being pessimistic, I guess I kinda feel we're doomed! Yet, I'll keep on holding!! Grin
350  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Ethereum: Welcome to the Beginning on: July 25, 2019, 06:51:36 AM
There's just no real request increase in the space, the trading is mostly happening using TUSD and I had already called that the pump wouldn't hold the day it started,

If this graph is correct, then this is going to be another disaster,
https://coinlib.io/global-crypto-charts#global_money_flow
 -- snipped --

I believe ETH and everything will keep moving downward. Maybe the owners of real coins will freak out and trade their alts for BTC, then those who want to tame BTC will just short it without even needing to hold a single real BTC.
So in short... I'd expect more pain for ETH (and others).
351  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ARK - DPoS with Dynamic Fees 🔹 New CORE v2🔹 ARK Deployer 🔹 on: July 24, 2019, 09:01:00 PM
Ooooh I'm very curious! What could it be? What could it be?
Please be a great game this time! ARK has a big potential.
352  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Ethereum: Welcome to the Beginning on: July 23, 2019, 10:26:38 AM
We're going from delay to delay with ETH 2.0, I had even forgotten that PoS was a thing!
Maybe the whole purpose of these dalays is to pump the coin, making people buy on every rumor about the update being near.
353  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Fortnite World Cup on: July 23, 2019, 06:28:39 AM
I don't think Fortnite is much of an eSports title, it's fine for streaming I guess (though I don't like it personally) but I don't think it'd fit as an eSport.
LoL, DOTA, Overwatch, CS, they all require teamwork, coordination and skills; those are similar traits with classic sports.
But I see Fortnite as nothing more than a single player battle.

By the way the only eSports betting site I know is sportsbet and they don't seem to offer a choice for Fortnite (disclaimer: I have no affiliation nor promoting sportsbet, do your own research as to if they're reliable)
354  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Grin | PoW Mining | Electronic transactions for all. Community driven. on: July 22, 2019, 07:18:53 AM

Are the grin devs planning on releasing a GUI wallet themselves, or are they leaving that to other developers?

You mean one for Windows?
They have one in beta and I've tried it about 2 months ago, but it wasn't that great, it was 50% GUI consisting of lines of code. I don't rembered it very well but think of a GUI made of CMD lines!

You can go to their Github and see if they have a newer one.
355  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Cryptopia exchange hacked on: July 21, 2019, 08:58:02 PM
Hey, what about withdrawals? Why site of CRYPTOPIA EXCHANGE - not working?

Just how long have you been away?
Hacked - They did a haircut on their customers - They opened but no one was happy with the haircut and their slow speed - They closed again seeing that no customers are coming back.

Also, most of the volume you see in most exchanges is fake, so it's not as easy as it may seem to get enough people trading on their platform and to make their business profitable.
356  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Impossibility of a gambling system (Why methods don't work) on: July 21, 2019, 03:38:16 PM
You went through so much thinking and trouble when it all boils down to a simple fact: If there was a method to have a sure win (at least on average) it'd be seen as a flaw and immediately patched up by the operator.
I can't deny the possibility that some loopholes could appear in new games that were not tested before, but the games are usually too simple mathematically to have any overlooked flaw.
357  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What 🛠are the advantages 🔝of playing poker💵 on: July 21, 2019, 03:32:28 PM
The biggest advantage of learning poker is that you'll be able to play strip-poker and win!
Well... I guess some people might prefer to lose in this case instead though, but in any case here's one advantage!
358  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The best backrolling on: July 20, 2019, 06:44:28 PM
OP makes it sound like there's a form of gambling that isn't involving risk, that's obviously wrong!

If there was such a thing, then the game operators would be giving free money from their pockets, I'm pretty sure nobody is doing this.
359  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XRP] Ripple Speculation on: July 20, 2019, 06:38:59 PM
XRP starts show signs of grow. Early to say but lets watch and see.
No doubt! market looks greenish right now and many top coins showing some great performance in the start..
We can expect that XRP could reach $0.5 in next rise and let's see what happens next!!
BTC is not moving well but if BTC start rising then XRP definitely follow up trend, anyway trying to buy at low price hope i will grab before big jump.    Wink

The recent price action doesn't prove anything, it could even be an upside correction before another leg down.
Personally I'm long term bullish on XRP, I'm happy with my holdings and I don't care where the price will be the next few days or even months.
360  Other / Meta / Re: Merit & new rank requirements on: July 20, 2019, 09:31:48 AM
yes, I agree with you. merit is out of your interesting when you reading or replying in such thread.
Someone already created a script that solves this. It makes possible for you to merit a post directly in the same page you are.

See: Enhanced merit UI [1.1]

Ahm... It's just one temporal tab on your browser though? I didn't expect people to be so bothered by it nor someone spending time to make a script for it! Shocked
Isn't everyone used to have multiple tabs open?

I would guess that people who are reading these forums are interested in cryptocurrencies,
people who are interested in cryptocurrencies have at least a decent IT knowledge,
people with decent IT knowledge can handle a little packed internet browser! Cheesy
