341  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Where next? Up or down! on: September 18, 2018, 01:10:01 PM
I think the next phase in the crypto market is headed for a small uptrend with a short duration quickly followed by a downtrend. BTC will be down again.
Personally as a trader, I will always tend to lean more towards technical analysis than focusing on anything fundamental because it is better to trade what you see than disturbing yourself with things that are not relevant and usually are fake news, and they do not end up driving the market that much as everything is still based on speculation and manipulations anyway.

We are in a bearish condition, and for now, all I can see are the bears trying to take advantage of every scenario, so it all depends on how things would end up going but for now, the small uptrend is what I foresee as well.
342  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Passive income in Cryptocurrency on: September 17, 2018, 02:46:29 PM
hi is there are any other coin than minexcoin who pays more than 5% monthly return on to hold their coins in the wallets. i am not trying to promote the coin just want to diversify my investment
I think there are very few, either you gonna use a proof of stake coin like spectrecoin that is working on both proof of stake which would make you get more spectrecoin and or you need to either use masternode for making more money which is basically something quite similar.

The mining is not a passive income believe me, I had a friend who really had to work a lot for his machines and it took at least 10 hours a work regularly and mostly even more when something broke because they are machines that work 7/24 of course they fail sometimes. I think the easiest is proof of stake because you make money on each stake and leave whenever you want, thats why I love spectrecoin.
343  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: The bulls will run Q4 2018. Thoughts? on: September 17, 2018, 01:24:09 PM
I am afraid we are not done yet as far as bear market goes, there seems to be still some positivity left on the crypto boards.
Yeah right,  we are surely not done. I believe the market could still try to make some move in the short term and try to test some major resistance, but the thing is that the bears at this point are certainly more active than the bulls and that makes the market to drive down faster than upward. That shows one thing, the bears are not done yet with this market and they are just looking for those who will somehow be a scape goat.

It is possible we might see some good growth towards the end of the year, better than now but it may be nothing close to what we had last year. I am just stating my speculation and I am not a God to foresee big things well in advance hence who knows, we may have big crackers too once year end approaches.
344  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Ever stopped or removed from casino on: September 17, 2018, 10:52:40 AM
It is almost impossible to get removed from casino for normal player unless you are a nuisance or commit a crime in the casino. Even if you are on a winning streak, you would not need to worry about being chased out by the security. Casinos love winners and don't mind you winning their money as long as you continue to patronize them.
Obviously, it would affect the reputation of such a casino if you have a winning streak and they get to bounce you because they do not want to pay you. I will sue their asses. Grin They know if you win and you are still a regular patron, you will definitely at some point give them their money back, so why won't they love to have you back? Like you said, I really do not see the need why anyone would be removed from a casino unless they were caught cheating or doing some things against the rule of the casino.

I had seen some people actually come their to chit chat with friends or make new buddies and have some beverages and it is like a coffee shop for them and will hang around with friends. May be once a while they will gamble and have the best of the time for them self.
Oh in fact, I am one of those. I have never actually gambled that much before except just few times, but most of the time I always enjoy the craziness in casinos, how people tend to want to create some luck for themselves out of nothing, some focusing on the game like their life depends on it, and different category of people. Sometimes it can be fun when you really are not gambling, and you are just being part of the spectators. Try it one time!
345  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do you think should invest in BITCOIN now? on: September 16, 2018, 04:18:15 PM
Looking at the market value of bitcoin now? I think it's better if you observe it first and see if it continues to drop. If so, then see how far it will go down and if you're already ok with its price, then buy it there. It's really good to start investing when the market value of bitcoin is going down.
Well, observing could be easy for someone who is really conversant with the way things work with the market and then be able to monitor the trend and see if there is a need to be buying at this juncture or relax. However, for someone with no idea of what to look out for, there is really no point than to just focus on buying long as long as they are Okay with the price they are buying and as long as they have some extra funds to buy more dips if it eventually comes. Not everyone can understand how to analyze the market, but everyone can learn to manage their investment.
346  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why Bitcoin will not hit 20000 soon? on: September 16, 2018, 03:16:57 PM
For the price to reach $20k levels it needs a rallying up, which means there needs to be more people looking to buy than looking to sell, which would create a market where there are people who are willing to sell for $20k but nothing lower at one point for us to reach those levels.

Now, considering the price has not been there for a long time for us to go there we need to convince other people to keep their bitcoins because we are going up and they will sell it at $20k soon because we are going up, however considering most people lost faith in us being capable of doing that, I doubt anyone would believe it, which would cause them to sell before $20k and than we can't reach that level.
347  Economy / Economics / Re: If i could manage the government! on: September 16, 2018, 02:16:18 PM
IF i had the chance to managed a certain government i would really apply blockchain technology and give their budget in a form of cryptocurrency or digital currency that could be used as a form of payment and could even trade to fiat money. In this way we could eradicate the corruption because the public could be aware on where the budget of the people coming from taxes will going through. Yet, until now the government is not interested on cryptocurrency or if they are they are not willing also to investigate and checked how cryptocurrency works and how could it will be applied on their system. They just want their business to continue as usual doing ghost project? I do not know maybe!
If I managed the government, they would probably assassinate me. In the end you need to control a government by keeping everyone happy and the way I would run a country would make poor people happy but the rich would be going insane from the things I do. I have to increase the taxes too much for rich and lower for poor and try to make everything free as much as I can that government has a power to do.

Stuff like schools, hospitals, water, electricity, internet, phones, roads, and all of that would be free because thanks to the new law that makes rich people pay for it. Capping wealth at a certain limit would make rich people look to invest other places, yet everyone in the country would live an alright life thanks to it.
348  Economy / Economics / Re: Tech advances should make 4-day workweek a reality for the 21st century on: September 16, 2018, 01:45:34 PM
The 4-hour work week idea has nothing to do with further cryptocurrency and blockchain adoption.
The idea that people will work less because of the technology innovations and automation is a myth, because the greedy capitalists always want biggers profits. In order to get those bigger profits, they will force their employees to work more.
Well, even if it does not, I am pretty sure it has a lot to do with blockchain technology and in that case, it sure does have some slight rub on cryptocurrency.

We all know that as development of AI, Robotics and Blockchain keeps evolving, there will always at some point be no need to even get things done with the help of humans that much, and jobs surely will be done faster, cost effective and any other advantage you can think of. As much as this sound cool, even with the 4 day workweek thing, a lot will end up losing their jobs.
349  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to Sell USDT? on: September 16, 2018, 11:30:08 AM
So I converted My BTC to USDT, Now how I can convert USDT to real USD cash?
USDT is NOT dollar. It is another crypto based coin, it is literally the USD Token. Yes it is usually tied to dollar value and if you want to sell bitcoin to usdt you sell it with dollar valuation but that is just the digital version of it and does not represent dollar at all in real life.

When you want to buy something and it costs 100 dollars, you can't spend 100 USDT and buy it, it has even less usage in real life than any other coin out there. Most coins can be used in at least one place whereas USDT only good for trading. So if you have usdt and you want to sell it, the best way to do so is on an exchange and you can get it out.
350  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Day trade? on: September 16, 2018, 09:24:36 AM
Day trade is good now, or is just when market is more unstable ?

I've heard a lot of news from business news outlets that wealthy traders do a lot of short term trades at this year and I've got to agree with them. We can see that it works but you need to have at least one btc to feel the profits because the spread that btc gives everytime it fluctuates is only below $1,500.
This is the reason why to be able to day trade; you will need some substantial volume to trade with it so as to be able to get something tangible from your trade. I am not in favor of day trading at any occasion I am just mentioning this in between before making a strong statement for day trading.

It is the way it is, there will always be fluctuations with some ups and downs in the market, but you still also have to understand that as much as the profit may be there potentially, so is the huge risk when it comes to the market moving faster downwards and you are not in any way cutting losses quickly.
351  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bottom of BTC descending channel is 3000$? on: September 16, 2018, 08:51:48 AM
$3,000 is just too low. Price wont even touch close to $5,000. And if ever that happens it will just entice more holders to buy more and hold as everyone is anticipating the price of Bitcoin to break $20,000 USD by December again granting that there will be no other bups ahead like a major news that will shake Bitcoin again.
You actually got it right with the market enticing more investors to want to buy more but you should remember those would end up being smart investors and it is not everyone investing in this space that will be smart. For what it is, I am sure as a lot of people are seeing it as an opportunity to buy more, some are freaking out and then bailing out of the market even at huge loss because trust me at this stage, the FUD will definitely increase.

Nevertheless, nothing is guaranteed here and I would not say that it is impossible for us to go as low as $3k, because any break of the $5800 support can lead us down very fast.
352  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Why Bitcoin Will Hit New Highs - ETF Date August 10th on: September 15, 2018, 05:45:07 PM
Whether ETF is accepted by SEC or not, this only contributes to Bitcoin reforms that are not related to rising or falling prices. We need to understand that Bitcoin always develops in a new way.
Bitcoin and the whole cryptocurrency space has even been developing long before we started hearing news of future contracts which eventually became a reality, and then we are now on the ETF path, which I am pretty sure a whole lot of this development is only going to lead to some form of regulation in the long run. I am not against regulation, but the attention on the ETF thing is too much. This was the same kind of attention that was given to CBOE futures which is for what reason at the end of the day.

Looks like the 10th August date did not provide the highs we were looking for Sad
Everyone looked for the exit door instead it seems.... dang it Sad
Maybe you missed the news, It was postponed. That is not even the case now. The truth is it is not really a big deal as some people are really putting it. This market will still mature in its own time, things will develop further and we will get to see a better space without the ETF which the whole ETF is just a whole lot of distraction and the whole fuss around is, even makes it unappealing by the day.
353  Economy / Marketplace / Re: your own factors behind an investment on: September 15, 2018, 05:15:45 PM
It is unfortunate that the poll was closed early. 11 people in this is very small for a large community of investors on cryptology. On the results obtained, it is impossible to draw the right conclusions.
Well, even if the poll is closed, discussion still continues which people can still share their ideas, so it does not have to be by all means poll, even though I understand what you are saying. Personally for me, the main thing that motivates me is the team which was not listed on the poll, which was the reason I said it does not count that much.

As long as the team looks like it would do it for me, and there is enough push to get the project out there, and a product that is extremely off the hook, that is enough motivation for me.
354  Economy / Economics / Re: Who is the richest person? on: September 15, 2018, 04:32:04 PM
As per Google search these are the top 3 richest person of this world.
Quote
1.Jeff Bezos — $108.9 billion
2.Bill Gates — $91.9 billion
3.Warren Buffett — $90.1 billion

But these maybe wrong since in this world there are lot of blackmoney is available which were not recorded by any governments.

In my opinion the politicians from the third world countries can be in the richest persons because they were stealing all their country's taxes.
I also assume that third world countries may have a lot of money. But in General I think who has the most resources, and the richest man on earth. I can't tell you about people. I will talk about resource-rich countries
Saudi Arabia
Russia
The third world countries, just very few people do have a lot of money and these are the corrupt politicians who keep looting and siphoning funds that belongs to the country in which they are meant to use in building infrastructures, creating a better standard of living, education, health, name them.

All the above, all they care about is themselves and their immediate family members. Those kind of people are definitely not termed as wealthy or should ever be classified among any wealthiest men, as they cannot even themselves come out clean on how they got the money, and hence, they find a way to hide it. What a world!
355  Economy / Economics / Re: People are not motivated by money. on: September 15, 2018, 12:35:35 PM
Everything you said is true and I wont argue with that more.

But I will surely make one point here that, money does motivate people to work hard. Now the examples you have given are far greater and are not relayed with the general people. If we go with the general people thoughts then note that they work 12-18 hours a day just because they will be getting their salary at the end of every month. If they even take the leave, go away with their work or under perform then surely things can worsen for themselves and they may get less salary. Just with that thought also most of them go on the work even when they are sick!! Just because they dont want to have less money in their ever salary.
That is it, however, even though it does not motivate people to work hard, that does not stop it from being additional benefit which we all know in the world we are living now; a lot of people have been fixated on the idea of just making money even if they do not like what they are doing.

Usually, for quite very few, I would say they could get motivated based on the passion they have for what they are doing, and even without the money, the fact that they are fulfilling their desires, is enough motivation for them. For people that create solutions to problems, bring up innovation, and do it well, sure thing, money will always be a side benefit.
356  Economy / Speculation / Re: What is our assurance that Bitcoin will stay for long or forever? on: September 15, 2018, 11:42:30 AM
What is our assurance that Bitcoin will stay for long or forever?  There is a prophesy I have heard that Bitcoin will fall.
Can you share some strong reasons of why Bitcoin will last?
I think bitcoin will last a long time, why? because there are still many coin users there, as long as the coin is still in use as long as the coin is in search and as long as there are still many bounty hunters, bitcoin will always be there and survive, so what other reasons will make bitcoin disappear, the answer is no, even though the price Coin has now dropped rapidly but there are still many projects that work and run until now.
That is the problem. A lot of people see it as a way to make more money but they are forgetting the other solution it brings to the world at large, aside just getting rich overnight. If this mentality can change and rather than seeing it as a way to get more, whereas, you are able to use it for what it is, and see the way it is far better than sticking with fiat, then the assurance will one way or the other start kicking in.

We all want bitcoin to stay long and forever, but we also have to make that work on our own path as all we have presently, is more of a speculative asset in our hands.
357  Economy / Speculation / Re: Decentralized exchanges 'make crypto unstoppable'? (McAffee bullshits?) on: September 14, 2018, 07:45:09 PM
Not heard of that? - https://bisq.network

In the UK until recently there were no exchanges worth bothering with. Up until Localbitcoins introduced ID the vast majority of fiat stuff was P2P without needing to be verified. In China there are now no exchanges at all and they're seemingly doing fine with Telegram groups and OTC stuff.

I seem to remember him touting some decentralised in browser exchange. Going on his track record I'm not looking forward to it.
I guess track record will always haunt Grin. It is obviously something that will work. In the phase where government is banning and decentralized exchange becoming the savior of the day from that, how do you want to keep spending or utilizing the crypto you have asides from exchanging it for another on the decentralized exchange. What I mean is, in this kind of case, Mcafee is not subjecting his assumptions to the fact there will be need for real life usage, merchants accepting it as a form of payment, people can easily still use it and the same time trade on dex, but how will all that be plausible when it is banned.
358  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Really! Where is the fun at? on: September 14, 2018, 07:04:34 PM
maybe the fun is when we can talk with other people and we can play together in one table while we can talk about joke too. I feel that I playing with my friend in one game and we can play together, we can say that can make us laugh and feel happy no matter if we cannot win. we can drink if we stop for a while in the game and enjoy the time to continue to talk. at least, this is what I feel with my friends in the gambling game.

Well that is happen on real life casino, but at online gambling, you can't do that, you only can chat online with other people. It's fun but not much fun as on real life casino.
You are right, real life casinos has more fun but convenience is also important, some people like being and gambling at their home, it has more fun for them.
I think everyone has their own perspective and sense of how they can be happy, not everyone has the same feeling to be happy, including gambling, for some people gambling in the casino will be more fun because it is crowded, others like sports betting because of that regarding their hobbies, people's have different to be happy in gambling

yes, I agree with you. as long as people can feel enjoy when they played, then they will get fun in the games no matter if they play in online gambling or offline gambling. we cannot say that we don't know where is the fun because maybe the other people can feel the fun things in the gambling game so they can say to other people that they really enjoy in the gambling and they can get fun in the game.
Dice game online - Oh God, let it keep showing greens, and I hope I get lucky with this.
Roulette Online - Come on luck; don’t bail on me this time around.
Poker online - Is this algorithm playing with my intelligence of wtf is this ?

At the end of it all, it is still a matter of trying to find luck, and it is actually where most especially those who gamble online want to derive the fun from that I have always never been able to get an answer to. Probably it is just a way to put yourself in control, and caution your mindset so you do not get addicted. Maybe, I can accept that!
359  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: When do you know its time to Stop? on: September 14, 2018, 04:21:40 PM
When i see my history rolls are getting dumped / about to crash i know its time to stop and eventually change my strategy to some other totally different.

That's how i bet Casinos and profit.
I hope that would be as easy as you have said it, considering that in such occasions, it would be a lot hard to want to control those impulses after beginning to see some streaks of losses and even if you change strategy in gambling, it still does not guarantee that you will end up getting anything substantial from that anyway as that could still end up being the outcome. I feel the best is to just have a limit, do not over step it and do not rethink it, when you just reach, you stop.

-snip
It is quite an interesting story and that shows that at any point in time, if you quickly reflect and you are able to come back to your senses of not expecting so much from gambling, stopping at any point in time without getting so engrossed in the whole gambling activity will always be easy. Stopping is a thing of the mind, principle, discipline and control, and as long as you lack those attributes, you are in for a big soup.
360  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do you start trading? on: September 14, 2018, 03:24:01 PM
Trading is very risky they said and the information to learn is very wide , every losses and profits  is a experienced that is why I'm very interested in trading , yet i don't know where i should start .

Can you share guys how do you start with this line?
trading on cryptocurrency certainly can be profitable if we understand the basic strategy of trading, maybe a simple way you can do to start trading you can try it with small capital first so that you can minimize the risk of loss.
Yeah, as much as profitable as it is, so is the other way round when it comes to losses.
Starting with small capital is not even the thing, because even with that, it still does not guarantee you will not lose it eventually if you ended up trading without knowledge. This is one major criterion to be able to trade. You need a strategy to trade, and without knowledge, there is absolutely no way you can have a strategy and then, that gives room for gambling the market and emotions kicking in.
