761  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: how long you can stay without gambling? on: June 03, 2018, 02:15:48 PM
I can stay without gambling for months. I have very busy work schedule now and have realized that I can make much more money with certainty by spending that time on work than gambling. I gamble just sometimes a month for fun and to break routine.
I really want to believe that anyone who cannot actually stay without gambling is somehow addicted because that is what addiction simply means. Good thing you realized this and I really hope a lot of people who have derailed can understand that gambling was never meant to be a money making scheme as it is just a game of luck and rather than wasting money trying to look for things you obviously will not find in gamble, while not gamble the money on some real investment or probably find a work to do and earn something substantial daily but I guess some will just never get it.
762  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: To quit gambling is to quit yourself on: June 02, 2018, 05:25:26 PM
It's hard if you're a gambling addict, but you should always try to end it although it takes a long process at least a little change because it all depends on your intentions.
try to commit and try to find positive activities that can divert when thinking about gambling and better the positive activities you choose with regard to religion.
really, a person who is addicted to gambling will certainly find it difficult to be abandoned, a gambling addict can not just abandon his gambling activities like a cigarette addict who is difficult to leave the habit of smoking. may be a way that can be done by gambling addicts is by way of filling their activities everyday premises how to do things positive and broader socializing in real life.
Yeah, and that is when they will really need people to help them get back on track which still comes with the idea of wanting to quit them-selves as well. It is one thing for people to want to help and it is another thing to allow them to want to help based on how you are ready to get that help. Things usually do not get to the peak most of the time unless we allow it to, and the importance of being in full control right from the onset is what really helps one to not get into such position as an addict in the first place but once there, it takes a lot.
763  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is better? on: June 02, 2018, 04:14:01 PM
I want to believe that choice depends on you as most people will definitely have what works best for them. Altcoin though is a highly volatile market, and unless you are holding some pretty strong coins with support, I simply prefer trading altcoins instead. However, you can split your investment. Hold more percentage in bitcoin, few other percentage in ether, and split the rest on altcoins you feel you can rely on their future potential.
Yes, we all have a reason for the decision we all decide to make eventually and this is actually a pretty good suggestion. No one knows what the market holds tomorrow for any coin. For instance I held what I though was very few verge for about 3 years and I still find it hard to believe my eyes till date as to how verge has really gone from certainly close to zero to a whole lot.

The simple trick is that you should spread your tentacles and feed on most of the good fishes in the market and you may be surprised. However, to reduce the risk, holding on solid coins that already have good ground and support as bitcoin and ethereum is good. At least, some good percentage in them as you said.
764  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I want to ask, whether the price of altcoins at the end of the year getting down on: June 02, 2018, 12:01:30 PM
Very complex, that's depending on market. As i knew Crytocurrency market follow up stock exchange. And when Crytocurrency with new overate technology and rumors come. I think alts and new project development as well will be move forward and raise up.
Asides from being complex, if we actually say the market is going to rise by the end of the year, even the OP should know that is B.S. No one can see the future and we are all just here following trend and trying to see what happens next. Things can change in the next few minutes in any market but the only thing we can do is to follow that pattern. I do not know why people ask some questions they themselves know no one definitely have an answer to.
765  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The most crypto friendly country in Europe is Switzerland. on: June 02, 2018, 10:53:06 AM
Switzerland is one of the countries which have legalised crypto currency a long ago. Even there're a lot of companies who got motivated to work with crypto seeing this initiative. I hope there'll be more countires who will adopt crypto currency in this 2018.
Yeah, and it was more like they immediately saw what no one else was able to quickly see and I am not surprised they are named the most blockchain friendly country in Europe. Since European union already made it legal right from the onset, it simply shows that Europe may actually be the best continent to enjoy blockchain business and ideas entirely and will be quick to grow in this area.

starting a blockchain business doesn't mean to start a crypto. When they say "best country to start a blockchain business" they mean for start-up in fintech or something else, it's not referring to crypto
Yeah, the news really is all about blockchain business but generally when talking about crypto-friendly as well, they are actually one of the most crypto-friendly countries in Europe and at least they have shown a high level of embrace to the crypto world which is what is making it easy for the Fintech industry and some other businesses around blockchain to wrap their head fast with respect to it.
766  Economy / Economics / Re: War on cryptocurrency! on: June 02, 2018, 10:21:03 AM
Governments of many countries are practically declaring war on cryptocurrencies.
Why is that?

In some of the countries bitcoin and crypto is declared illegal and because of this the war among many countries about bitcoin and crypto is started while some of countries are bitcoin friendly and due to this behavior many new projects and other businesses promoted due to this. I hope that in our country soon crypto will more popular.
Irrespective of any war the government may want to set on the crypto world, I guess it will just keep backfiring and exposing all their shenanigans eventually. It just seems in some countries, the government is just hell bound in not progressing.

Recently, I have been reading some news about Zimbabwe and the Central Bank requesting all the crypto related accounts of exchanges to be blocked despite the way it has been helping the economy from all the hyperinflation it has brought to its own citizens. What perturbs me is the fact that they just keep rubbing their failures to the eyes of the people and not even ashamed about it. What a whacked system Cheesy
767  Economy / Economics / Re: what will happens if everyone has own currency, doesn't a bad for Economics ? on: June 02, 2018, 08:49:03 AM
There is no way everyone will has own currency.
Obviously no way and for those who have just kept saying how it is going to affect the economy in a way are really delusional.
Is it not something that is realistically possible that will be affecting the economy ?
This is one thing that can never happen and even though blockchain technology is an open source, or one can easily generate tokens, I bet some people do not even know there is a lot to even start with when having any of those.

Does it have any value or solve a problem, will it be on an exchange and so many more. At the end, it would only end up like any shit coin that is not even available in the market except for the creator deceiving himself.
768  Economy / Economics / Re: Wise thing to do with your savings. on: June 01, 2018, 05:57:37 PM
I see that many of you actually liked the concept of 20 % method wherein you allot 20% of your earnings to be saved as emergency fund.
So I was thinking, if that 20% allotted will be invested in a time deposit kind of account, will it still be possible to earn as much or invest it in cryptocurrency? Or maybe just let the money sleep until such time you will need it?
What will be a wise kove to do with the noney you have saved up?
Emergency funds are not to be deposited in a time deposit account. Time deposit accounts have specific time before you can withdraw it and you can never tell when you are in need of it. Also it is not wise to invest emergency funds because you are doing away with the main purpose of such savings.
Yes, except may be by emergency, he probably just mixed it all up and was referring to long term savings instead. In the context of emergency funds you are absolutely right which I believe since that is what the OP referred to, saving such fund should make you have access to it anytime you want.

Moreover for long term savings, based on whether his plan is to invest it or not, there is always the need to at least minimize the risk. I certainly may just remove a certain percentage of it into crypto but putting all into crypto at once instead of the bank, is a huge risk to take.
769  Economy / Economics / Re: Us government has start probe in manipulation in value of cryptocurrency . on: June 01, 2018, 05:21:37 PM
Us government  has start probe in manipulation in value of cryptocurrency .will it effect the BTC
https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2018-05-24/bitcoin-manipulation-is-said-to-be-focus-of-u-s-criminal-probe
I was reading this news today and honestly I believe this is a good thing for the space.
The manipulation is obviously becoming annoying and rampant that even the whales end up robbing it on your face.

More like they always try as much as possible to sometimes send the wrong signals so some traders can flop and at the end their stop loss getting hit while they make a huge amount from it. This is crazy and should be stopped and all the things said in the article are pretty obvious and glaring which I am sure so many traders must have seen.
770  Economy / Speculation / Re: What started this bear trend? on: June 01, 2018, 04:11:52 PM
Market is not easy and sometimes it seems absurd but actually it is not so. Trading and investing is not a simple action there are a lot of reasons which need to be analysed and trades who has not enough experience consider that somebody cheats them and manipulate market. It is not true. Look at gold it has the very long positive trend and anyone might buy and hold it several years. And nobody tell you exactly why crypto market are now bearish.
That is usually the thing. There would always be market makers as they are the ones who simply call the shot in every market and they are definitely in this market which I believe we can also refer to them as the institution and whales. However, everything is still based on the outside and I am sure there is really no way we cannot expect them not to keep making more money out of the noobs without experience who just want to make money from trading over night and there trading without any form of experience or knowledge.
771  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Digital Currency Take Over on: June 01, 2018, 03:26:50 PM
As we can see now everyone/every developed nation is moving towards digital currency. In your opinion how much time is required for digital currency to take over the current/existing market or it is impossible that digitisation will never be successful. If yes what are those factors ? In my opinion those countries which are not accepting digital currency, are doing wrong. They are only thinking about the tax. They are saying that we will not get any tax and digital currencies are fake. Fraud is very easy in digital world (that is true but it also happen in every market). Although when someone is doing business in digital currency then that person is bringing money to country that is beneficial for the country...
Actually digital currency already exist in some field of investment in different countries and may be they can be part of countries economy but not for a total take over because traditiona money is still very important in paying local trading.

Agree digital currency is very important to many people today because of its legitimate way of earning big profit but still i dont believe it can replace our traditional money.
Yeah, I believe that idea of making some pretty good profit from the space is one of the reasons why so many people are even here in the first place and that makes the speculative side of the space to keep increasing the more.

Nevertheless, just as you have said, replacement of traditional currency is something we should not even be assuming because it is going to be impossible and the best way to have it is to even have a peaceful usage of the two going hand in hand with some regulations by the government.
772  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to hold coins in 2018 on: June 01, 2018, 12:44:12 PM
This marketplace is not for the faint hearted, this fact is what every trader must know and accept. Looking at the recent turn of events, the best approach to crypto is to hold for long term, day trading can get you burnt.
As an investor, you should always be ready to learn how to make the best of it most of the time, and you simply cannot do that if you do not at least have an element of trading trend following and taking advantage of the huge market fluctuations most of the time so as to sell at the top and buy back lower to have more position in the market.

Well, everyone is out to do what works for them, but in 2018, I am not sure going to be as stupid as I was last year when my whole folio hit $12k and now back to $1600, all in the name of HODL.
773  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Master the trading on: June 01, 2018, 12:04:31 PM
Yes trading is a skill, but you need to master the chart reading, and master the price action inorder to become a good trader. The heart beat of trading is in the chart reading.

They say that day trading is a skill, so practicing should make you good at it right? How long someone from newbie to advanced should spend to be considered good?
Mastering stock candlestick technical analysis is just one skill in many of the skills traders need to know in order to be successful in this market. The key elements are: market analysis, candlestick analysis, psychological firmness and calm in investing, good project analysis skills ... To succeed in financial markets is not It's easy but the achievement is worth it.
Mastering all those things come with time, and most of the time, there is just no way you will one way or the other be making some simple silly mistakes for a starter.

To be able to get my pattern and trade it well, I ended up making huge mistakes, and with a lot of perseverance and dedication, I simply got there and started doing well. As I trade those patterns till date, I still keep learning to see how I can always do things better, so for a trader, you just never stop learning, most especially when you are just starting.
774  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Suggestion for trading on: May 31, 2018, 06:10:59 PM
If you want to be risky, you’re better off spending your money on an up and coming altcoin that you believe in. Try to know what’s going on before you put money into it.
Yeah, that is a great one too. I actually always look at some altcoins that have potentials that just hit the market and trading below the ICO price as those are always some good options to buy and hold as you would be making a good decision. Although, for trading in general, it is still always good to have a strategy and not just look for cheap coins or tokens, as it is necessary to make sure you are really making a good decision than trying to gamble your position in the market which a lot of people always end up doing.
775  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Never Be greedy! on: May 31, 2018, 05:30:40 PM
While trading we have to follow few rules and without following those rules there is no way to be a successful one except a successful by chance. There are lots of rules of them greedy plays a vital role. While trading never be greedy. If you become greedy while trading then you can be assured that there is 90% possibility to be a lessor.

I agree with you in trading we should not be greedy and be a note I think is doing research on the coins that want in trading right and at least we have the science Technical analysis,
Being greedy usually make people to lose potential profit. After entering a trade at the bottom, they then just keep wondering if there is a possibility for the trade to hit higher until they end up missing the best point they could have sold eventually. There is something I have always learned over the years, always have a buying and selling strategy and stick to it, as long as you do that, you will always do better than being greedy and looking for something more.

Greedy when it comes to trading is going to always set you for failure anyway and the only way most people get greedy is because they fell they can just with the coin they are holding get rich overnight and therefore do not always have a strategy to sell even before entering a trade. It is always important to always follow the necessary rules in trading so as not to stand a chance of huge loss in the end.
776  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What you should do when you lose most of money? on: May 31, 2018, 12:19:35 PM
which I will do when I lose a lot of money because my trading is better to close the market and try to self-correct. because I see definitely the mistakes created should I can avoid.
Good for that you have avoided the problem may arise. When losing money the most thing to do is to move forward and learned the mistakes. Learned those points that you have a lack of knowledge so in the next time you can gains good.
In the sense where one is actually losing money, at that moment, it is best to always sit back, because there is something one is obviously doing right and which one should always learn from just like you said.

The worst thing is to want to go on and keep trading most of the time, but as long as you are able to realize your mistake, inculcate it into your future trades so they do not repeat themselves, the more one gets better and more confident. Being patient after a loss, calming down and reflecting on the trade is very important and the reason why it is even good to start with paper trade first.

Trying to build experience and it is all these mistakes that one learns from that makes up all those experience. Learn from the losses, do not rush to start thinking of a way to recover those losses, see how you can do things better next time by looking at your mistakes, and take better chances next time.
777  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What is your best HODL in this Red Zone? on: May 31, 2018, 10:41:58 AM
As we are looking at the market currently, the whole thing is dumping like anything. There is no thorough explanation about the whole scenario as to why the crypto currencies are dropping by so hard and hence I am eager to know what are you guys holding at this point.

Have you converted everything to the BTC or any other safe currency that you see out in the market?

Is there anyone of you who is holding all the assets back into the USDT, the Tether one or have you converted everything back to the fiat. ?
Was in fiat but I am into btc now until further notice, and I usually do not invest in altcoins, except there is a clear signal they are in an uptrend since their response and movement is more attached to that of bitcoin anyway and taking a silly chance is not my thing except the altcoin is already on some historical support level and may not have the possibility of going way lower.

So far, I except bitcoin to give some moves in the early months, and if it does not, you know how it is, most especially if it breaks the current support around $6800.
778  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereal below $400 on: May 31, 2018, 08:31:34 AM
Is it possible to go below $400 again? Last time he was $366 and go to $708. Buy now or wait?
Just chill mate, the market is still in a downtrend and there is no way you can know until it changes trend to start forming a higher high and higher low at least on the 4 hours chart. If you are not a trader though, that may be a bit hard to understand, and you may want to start accumulating bit by bit if it gets down to $400 but there could be a possibility anyway of seeing it get to that level or probably even lower. If you are investing long term, you can still take advantage of what I said initially.
779  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Today Bitcoin market on: May 31, 2018, 07:51:23 AM
Today the market condition of bitcoin is average. Today the market price of bitcoin is $7320.33 and the condition is not good though. But hoping for the best within a short period.
The condition may not be as good as we may want it today but surely will be great later in the future. We are still in the process of a huge correction whether we like it or not, and I believe with the way things are going, the possibility of going way lower is there. Like you said, the only little thing we have now is to just look forward to the future and know that it is the long term that matters at the end. Now may look rough but it is a normal thing to experience in the short term.

The price may not actually look so good today but the focus should be more on the future. One thing with a lot of newbie investors is that they are in a rush to get rich quickly but they should understand that bitcoin is not a get rich quick scheme but more of a currency and something that can serve as a long term investment, and anyone who already know that right from the onset before even investing will be able to wait irrespective of what happens in the market now.
780  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin down , then no alt coins up on: May 30, 2018, 07:29:53 PM
Sometimes you could say that but sometimes you can't really assume that 100%. Some coins with the exception of USDT, are gonna be independently rise on their own if there will be cases that such tokens or coins allow direct payment for investment and some even allow credit cards, if I saw it correctly at some investment sites. Then because of that independency of the demand with Bitcoin or ETH, it rises on its own in the market without the need of going through such conversion with BTC and ETH or such any nearby coins linked with it.
Yes, it cannot be 100% as there would still be some altcoins that will want to make some movement even when all the flows are not right, but you really would want to be careful in such markets since it might just be a pump and dump market.

In a larger percentage of it, anytime bitcoin is coming down, alts are coming down as well and the same thing happens even when bitcoin is in a bull rally as traders sump alts to take advantage of bitcoin movement, consolidation period of bitcoin is the only period altcoins shine and it really should not be, but it is the way things are.
