621  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: CREDITS - my future (maybe) on: July 10, 2018, 01:27:59 PM
I've bought some Credits a few days ago. Let's hope it's not a scam.  Grin

If their project is legit expect more than $10 price.
Are you for real ? You bought a token and you are hoping it does not end up being a scam ? Apparently you just did without bothering to check what makes it tick anyway and why you should be investing in the first place, but as usual for most people, you are just looking forward to making profit from it without caring how the value could end up sustainable at all in the long term.

Moreover, I do not see anything much in this project as far as I am concerned. Sorry to burst your bubbles. Still it is my responsibility to speak out the truth rather than agreeing with you.
622  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethreum Price By end Of Year on: July 10, 2018, 11:57:16 AM
I think the price of ETH will rise to 1000$ in the end of year. Not sure, but I'm very hopeful.
$1k is really not a bad move anyway since the bear trend kicked in from a little above $1k, so the likelihood of going back to test that point upward when the market picks up with some bullish scent is still there. But it will be completely dependent on how bitcoin is going to perform in the remaining days of this year.

Although, nothing is guaranteed now considering how the market has been for some days, but I am sure we can still be hopeful for the best before the year runs out. I would not expect much, but with the way the markets have been in past years, anything is possible.
623  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Topic ICOs in 2018 that will be big in 2019? And reasons why. on: July 10, 2018, 08:13:05 AM
Hotel and travels are very big and lucrative business, fast growing with model technology and trippki has decided to support travellers with there token. Trippki is currently on ico, you can visit here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3948585.0
I would rather be focusing on ICOs from exchanges with great team and product that would actually bring about some pretty good demand for the token once it gets launched and one of them is the Qurrex hybrid exchange with the QRX token.
Exchange tokens have always been known to come out pretty nice most especially if they are able to hit the ball rolling by starting with a very good volume. Hotel and travels may be lucrative, but so far, most of the ones I have seen have not been doing so well.
624  Economy / Exchanges / Re: yobit or hitbtc on: July 09, 2018, 02:33:44 PM
I made a x5 on selfkey at the weekend and looking for other coins to invest in for medium term I think I may have found one bit its not on the major exchanges so I need to create a new account with an exchange it has to be yobit or Hitbtc. Hitbtc looks like a nicer site but my main concern is scams and been able to withdraw btc if I make a profit  I have red bad things about yobit in this regard
what are peoples experience with them are they trust worthy and what are their fees like

Thanks all

The choice between yobit and hitbtc is like choosing between and devil and the satan. Grin
Just kidding. It`s OK to use them both, but only with small deposits.Deposit a big amount of btc or any other altcoin, and they are GONE.Yobit is the number 1 place for pump&dump altcoins and HitBtc has many bad reviews about their customer support.
You are actually not kidding but rather saying the truth, lol. Asking to choose between these two exchanges. When it comes to being shitty, they both stand a chance, when it comes to losing your funds, they also both stand a chance and the worst part is that when faced with the worst case scenario, you have no support to report your case too.

When it comes to using any of these exchanges, in the case where there is no choice at all, then, it is best to not put in what you cannot afford to lose.
625  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Where Do you Trade and Why ? on: July 09, 2018, 01:37:48 PM
Desktop of course. Is it even feasible to trade on a mobile device? The screen is too small there's no way you can read info (orderbook, charts, volume, etc) properly. Even with a 14-inch laptop I often wish my laptop had a bigger screen.

The platform doesn't matter much to safety I think. Just make sure you set up your independent 2FA properly and you should be safe.

Thanks for the answer but I think it s feasible to trade since there are many trading apps ?
Yes, there are many trading apps with the most common one being tab trader. Personally, I only do few trades on my PC making use of Coinigy with my bittrex API on it to probably do some extra analysis if I want to get into a particular market which I need more conviction about.

Moreover, mobile applications like the one I have mentioned have been my best friend since I can easily get alert to stop loss without being on my system every time, I can make any single trade as well as analysis easily on it, and the fun part, it is mobile (on-the-go).
626  Economy / Economics / Re: Facebook now joining btc? on: July 09, 2018, 12:59:58 PM
I think it wouldve been a good idea for facebook to welcome bitcoin and Mark making a big turnaround for technology. Im pretty sure Mark is quite skeptical about bitcoin because of its volatility. When he invested his time and effort in facebook, he knew from the start it will make big in the future.
Any real business man will be quite skeptical about volatility as there is simply no doubt about that. They will want to assume the real life usage on their part and on the part of the users themselves, and with this kind of volatility for sure, it is something even if they are considering at all, will not be anytime soon.

No one knows but later on, I foresee the possibility of Facebook actually making use of the blockchain tech anyway to create their own for usage which we all believe should really have some good demand in the long run.
627  Economy / Economics / Re: When the government forbids cryptocurrency on: July 09, 2018, 11:57:23 AM
Each country is different, in my country the government does not mention electronic money and they do not interfere with them, we are free to trade and just sell online, there are not any places to trade domestic.
Same here and over here, there is more of silence since there are apparently other things to achieve, and companies that are running cryptocurrency exchange business anyway are subject to paying tax which makes it an additional revenue for the government in a way. It is just a pity that in some countries, this is not the case and rather than the government embracing it, they are rather using their position to bully the citizens that put them there. It is really saddening.

As we all know that governments are always greedy for the control and in some countries government has clearly mentioned that they are willing to eliminate the domestic usage of cryptocurrencies.
Being greedy must be one reason but the prime reason should be, unable to find alternate solution to cope up same amount of taxation even with crypto using people. Time will answer all of them and us too.
628  Economy / Economics / Re: regulation and legalization of cryptocurrency on: July 09, 2018, 07:56:11 AM
With the fee concept for ICOs, I think scams can be avoided. Mosylt scams won't pay the fee, so people won't have to worry about them. If other countries do legalise few coins then I think it is a good sign for those coins and their value can easily increase in near future.
Asides fee, a lot of vetting and verification before even being declared a legal entity to conduct ICO is really going to help and as long as you are illegal, you are illegal if you cannot pass through that phase. This will surely help to clean the space for any illegal ICO trying to run and make it so easy for any investor to detect if an ICO is worth risking investing in or not at least with just that. Also, it would be a very difficult space for scammers to thrive and definitely will cause a drop in scammers.
629  Economy / Economics / Re: huge crypto market correction incoming on: July 08, 2018, 04:36:58 PM
As you said, it was a huge correction of the crypto-currency market. I believe you that this is absolutely normal. I still do not lose hope of price recovery.

The thread was created in November, and man, that was amazing. Haha! If only this analysis were followed by many, there would be lesser cry babies supposedly.

Obviously, the sheep were too hyped to listen to this analysis.
Yes, that is one thing with analysis and there will always be people who will never listen. Normally, it was obvious since there was so many new and inexperienced investors that popped in last year with the idea of getting rich quickly and looking at the way things panned out.

No one in their sane mind should not have known it was just all manipulations and those were not real demand since what everyone was simply after was getting rich. So far, we are where we are, and we just simply have to deal with it.
630  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is best practice for gambling?? on: July 08, 2018, 01:34:47 PM
May anyone tell me what is the best practice for gambling with little investment? I have no so much experiance about it.Any suggestion or advice.
if you mean to gamble and at the same time invest in gambling place ,, i think bustadice can give you easiness .. in bustadice besides you can gamble you too can invest your fund in bustadice., you can click my sign and can register there and read the guide for you to invest
There is nothing as gambling with little investment, as it is either you are gambling or you are investing as part of the house edge. In this case, the OP is trying to look for means where he would not have to put in too much of money into gambling and be able to still get the best from gambling. Firstly, the more money you put the chances are that you lose everything, but with less greed it may take huge time or just win so little based on what you are betting. However, small money is equal to quicker loss as the case may be and there is no other way out of it.
631  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Effects of Gambling on: July 08, 2018, 01:03:13 PM
It's true that gambling have benifits. It's my favorite spare time activity and it helps me get away from life stress and responsabilities. If there is one thing that gambling has tought me, it would be how to manage my money. During the time i spent gambling, i had wins and losses like any other gambler. As a beginner, i was thursty to play and win, which cost me lots of money. Now i'm more patient and i learned how to managed my money to stay away from debts or enormous losses. I never reached that point when gambling started to affect my social life and my family. I can control myself to avoid all those problems.
Those good benefits are actually something that we tend not to see easily most of the time. When it comes to new friends though, we may say that is the only thing I see and most  of the time, you are making friends who gamble as you do, and you should rather be making friends that will be there to caution you when you are going wrong and not those that will even keep pushing you.

The only main positive thing I see with gambling comes with luck and most time; luck is actually nothing to rely on so much when it comes to gambling.
632  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What are some unique advantages of online gambling ? on: July 08, 2018, 09:03:22 AM
I will start with one to begin the discussion. If you are putting huge amounts at stake and want to keep identity private, online gamblign comes as a boon.
Online gambling still has a verification that you need to give your information because if not, maybe you will not going to get your price if you win in a game. I guess identity still a requirement online. The advantage of online gambling is just, you can play inside your house without going outside or casinos. You can also get some pieces of advice with your family if you want to hear their side when you bet in a game.
Not all of them as there are some that would not require so much from you to even sign up and that still makes the idea of anonymity intact for the online gambling space.

It depends on what you want and I do not see any reason why anyone would want to settle for a platform that insists on KYC verification all in the name of gambling, when there are other several reputable gambling sites without it. Ease, anonymity, getting paid without any banking stress is all the things that make online gambling advantageous.
633  Economy / Speculation / Re: $10,000,000 by 2028 on: July 07, 2018, 04:00:54 PM
I agree that BTC is big invention and it has great potential, for me there is no doubt about it. The problem is only in time, in this case 10 years from now is in my opinion too little time that BTC become global reserve currency. But I do not agree that it can be independent by states, this is something that is very difficult to accomplish.
Well, it is bitcoin and anything is possible. No one could have thought anyway that bitcoin would even surpass $10k last year, let alone $19800. At this stage, I am always prepared for anything either on the positive or the negative side. 2028 is still about 10 years from now, and looking at the way things are going and if we get to see them a lot positive, there is no doubt we could see a huge value on bitcoin, but for now, I guess we just have to wait and see rather than being over optimistic.

This also depends on devaluation of dollar. If the market of dollar somehow cripples and dollar becomes less valuable at the same time bitcoin becoming more valuable this is possible. Is it probable? No.
But, regardless of the buying power of dollars, bitcoin definitely will reach some big peaks on its own. Yes, demand from the community of bitcoins along with the limited supply may do any magic. I am expecting multiple million dollars for one bitcoin before 2025 itself.
634  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bear market? Will NEVER HAPPEN because of increasing # of unretrievable bitcoin on: July 07, 2018, 11:38:17 AM
There still needs to be demand.
Yes, by demand we are talking a real demand here and not just some speculative and FOMO driven demand which may or will end up not being sustainable. Although, a lot of things have changed though when it comes to awareness, people getting to see the real pictures compared to past years, but at the same time, this market is more speculative in nature than we can get to see real life usage yet, so the number of irretrievable coin as the OP mentioned is inapposite in this equation since most of the data we see anyway is exchange based.
635  Economy / Speculation / Re: I need more money to invest now! on: July 07, 2018, 10:15:26 AM
As what i have seen on the coinmarketcap.com for the market price for bitcoin that literally goes down to 6K usd is a good time to start the investment. I am waiting for this moment but still i need more money to invest on it. Well i hope i could get more money the following day so that i could invest in this time where bitcoin market price falls down.
Your right, not all people sees negatively of what is happening in the price of bitcoin many are actually sizing the moment to buy while it is at low price.
Those who are seeing negatively are those who never had a plan in the first place with their investment and all that they were after is just trying to get rich quickly and as fast as possible. Not having an investment plan such as when to invest, what to invest in and how to get the maximum benefit from what you are investing is what made a lot of people to easily join FOMO and panic with the correction instead of going the other way round.

Investing now is a good option for anyone who is smart to focus on the future than now. But taking risk beyond our capability is always not at all recommended. We must invest only what we will be afford to lose at any unexpected events. Hence, no one should expect more money to invest. Always risk only 10% to 25% of your saving, definitely not more than that.
636  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Right time to buy a lot of bitcoin. on: July 06, 2018, 05:47:48 PM
If you have got funds available and looking for investment opportunities then instead of investing in gold or real-estate, i would recommend you buy bitcoin and hold it two years or more, similar to holding of gold. You would gain more holding bitcoin than gold.
This is a very new market and for the fact that things are really getting amusing gradually, a lot is changing, the space is developing an growing pretty fast, we are any moment from now, may be living the early adoption phase to a growing phase, I am sure anyone who is smart now will definitely be taking the opportunity right now and making the best out of it. If there is one thing I certainly understand so far, there is a lot awaiting for the real believers of bitcoin in the future and a lot of people will regret not taking advantage of the present.
637  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What Motivates you to Invest in Cryptocurrency? on: July 06, 2018, 04:53:26 PM
I invest in cryptocurrency and trade cryptocurrency because I believe I won't lose in the long term. I can only gain because of what the new technology has to offer. I was too young to know about investing in domains, but now that blockchain is here and is here to stay, I'm confident in my cryptocurrency investments.
Yeah with trading though, the fact that you are taking advantage of the volatility which is actually the main reason I believe that the volatility of the cryptocurrency space itself is a huge blessing for those who have trading knowledge.

Cryptocurrency is here to stay and it is going to be here for long, and being a part of this space at this early phase is a privilege that one in their sane mind would not want to be a part of.

More like getting to be a part of something big in the future and then not wanting to embrace it, who does that ?
638  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: A trader's heart on: July 06, 2018, 04:11:58 PM
When you are a trader in this market. The first thing you do is learn. Learn about technical analysis, capital management and how to control your emotions.
Maybe, You are good trader. You can be a very disciplined person when trading, you always stoploss and take profit at 5-10% point.
But have you ever forgot yourself? it's just for a short moment. That moment is you falling in case with nothing to lose - a gambler's mentality. You drunk blood and completely forget about the discipline you set before.( Especially when you join the margin )
Why do you join the trade in crypto? This is due to fluctuate strongly of this market, "high risk and high profit ". And there is a bit of gambling in it. RIGHT?

There's a thin line between trading and gambling. In trading you really need to focus and should not let that simple slip, otherwise you will really suffer the consequences. So you need a lot of discipline and mental toughness and not to be too greedy, otherwise you will fall in the gambling mindset and the last thing you know, you have lost everything including your capital. I know its really hard to control our emotions here, but if you can't then I guess you should really go on gambling and try your luck there.
A very thin line I must say! The thing is that trading in itself is predicting an outcome and expecting the outcome to be in your favor which is actually where the meaning of gambling comes in. However, the good thing here is that we can use some information through different form of analysis to predict these outcomes and hopefully we get to experience a positive one but not without still having a strategy to stop loss in case things go wrong.

All these makes it different from real gambling but makes it a profession but anyone without such knowledge to trade effectively is indeed a gambler when it comes to trading.
639  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Market can be manipulated? on: July 06, 2018, 02:25:00 PM
It is a decentralized market, so it is easier to manipulate when regulations are not even in play and there is no legal action for anyone who ends up doing so until further notice. Sure, it was obvious that the prices of most of the market are being tampered with so as to instigate FOMO and this is done mostly by whales and bitfinex does not have to be the only source. Even with the downtrend, it is still being manipulated.
Due to the nature of decentralized in which a lot of whales have a lot of advantage, I believe manipulation is something that is expected and we can all see that easily. They buy and accumulate at the dip, instigate upward movement, keep driving the price up as they stand nothing to lose as long as the FOMO keeps kicking in and before you know it, the dump happens and everyone who bought at the peak starts running for their lives which results to a huge dump.

Even altcoin markets are heavily manipulated, we cannot expect the high volume markets like ethereum, waves to be manipulated all the days. These markets also get manipulated time to time but at end of the trend, only what most people do take will find the way.
640  Economy / Economics / Re: When do you guys think we will hit the next Accumulation stage? on: July 06, 2018, 11:21:28 AM
The recent move from $5800 to $6100+ might have been an accumulation stage where a significant buy in occurred. The question now may be whether momentum can be sustained to greater than $6100 levels or whether the price will be pushed back down to $5800 for yet another accumulation cycle--if investors have confidence the $6500 or so ceiling will be surpassed. I feel like a broken record but it bears repeating that bitcoin has a tendency to peak at the end of the year on increased demand and transactional volume from black friday / christmas shopping / holidays. With the price fall in january of the new year being due to decreased volume post holidays.

To be honest, I haven't been watching transaction volumes, etc. It is possible the price is being artificially pushed down to fuel a significant buy in phase. I definitely would have bought in @ $5800 if I had liquidity.
At this stage, it is not even about the $6500 being surpassed, it is about not having some fake breakout just to deceive a lot of traders in which we know at this stage, the market is not actually very pleasing to get into based on how things have been for a while now with manipulations.

The market will obviously tend towards moving down pretty fast than going up fast anyway, and would rather just chill to see how things build up than hopping into it. Accumulation will be easy to detect anyway and most times, it happens when there is a long time of consolidation.
