Hi There,
I have 4 vegas and now with 2.4.3 Stak version I can use only 1 thread per gpu.
With previous STAK versions and ETN XMR algos, I was able to use 2 threads per gpu, The "amd" file compiled like the one I was using for ETN or XMR, gives me an error message.
I assume there may be a new method for activating the second thread.
If someone could chime in, it would be great.
Thanks!
Not sure, but you can apply higher intensity. I don't have any Vega for test sadly.
You may try configs for SUMO

I don`t understand why when mining on rx580 monero it hashes with 820h/s but when mining Sumo it hashes 920h/s . When mining with rx480 it hashes on monero 950 , but on sumo 750h , what the hell is going on? I tried it with different miners , what is the logic?
CN-Heavy needs more memory, so 8GB cards have higher hashrate now.

Do you guys get socket error on https://support.ipbc.io/ ?
I switched to https://cryptoknight.cc/ipbc/ seems like lot of miners too. What are other big pools? I can't find any good list of pools, only some small pools. I wonder where is the rest of like 30MH/s of net hashrate?

DNR is based on modified NIST5, right?
Baikal just released updated firmware for Giant X10 that mine NIST5.

Guys, we will have the coin to mine with Cryptonight ASICs. XMC. So it looks that this is safe to buy some cryptonight ASICs. Now, when we can buy 1 and get 5....  Angry

BTW: https://bitcoinmagazine.com/articles/monero-just-hard-forked-and-it-resulted-four-new-projects/
It will be probably pretty much shitcoin but probably with good value Cheesy

Hello everyone!
Thanks to the dev for the great job.

I have some question about Haven mining (cn heavy).

I run a 6 gpu (Vega 64 8mb) rig with srbminer to mine haven.
It seems that my hashrate is not optimal comparing to others reporting 1500+ h/s using Vega 64 or 54 with xmr-stak.

I only get around 950h/s per gpu (max 1400 but drowning quickly)...
I also get some miner crash quite often.
I wonder if i do something wrong with the settings or if it is a miner/gpu limits...

The best hashrate i get comes with this settings.
-algo: heavy
-pool use ssl/tls: false
-target temperature: 0
-"intensity 55"
-i use cryptoknight pool (luckypool gave me the same result).

gpu config
-Intensity 150 for each gpu, double thread "true"

-Virtual memory on my computer 30000-60000
-On afterburner: coreclock 950, memory 1020

I get around 900-950 h/s per card with thoses settings (and was the best i could hit), wich seems to be low according to others Smiley

Does anyone have any idea of what i did wrong, or if it is srbminer limits?

Thanks a lot!
Check hashrate in XMR-STAK also, you need to try different intensity maybe.
This is latest working version for Haven https://github.com/IndeedMiners/xmr-aeon-stak/releases
347  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [POW] [XHV] Haven Protocol - untraceable payments x stable value storage on: April 11, 2018, 06:39:20 AM
in your releases is version 2.4.3 which should be fixed, but after downloading this 2.4.3 version and compiling, there is version 2.4.2 inside Sad
I just forget to bump up the version... Or is there some problem with Haven? Nobody reports any issue with it.

Yes in this 2.4.2 version which should be 2.4.3 all haven shares are rejected, so it is really the old version without support for haven after fork Sad I'm on Linux, thats why maybe nobody reported that, when majority runs win. So can you upload to github source code of the real 2.4.3 version?
I've checked it, there is already 2.4.4-haven version in sources. Are you sure you are in our respository, the original XMR-STAK has latest 2.4.2. Also you need to download Dev branch not Aeon do not download the sources from downloads, there is the old version. Clone respository dev branch.
https://github.com/IndeedMiners/xmr-aeon-stak/blob/dev/xmrstak/version.cpp#L22
This is the right branch
https://github.com/IndeedMiners/xmr-aeon-stak/tree/dev

In the first post there is link directly to 2.4.3 version so it would be confusing for others if they download not working version, instead of the latest one working. Guys from Haven need to replace the link with just latest release not with exact version. Same for the pools some of them link to the 2.4.3 directly also and some of them even to non existing miner or old not working versions of CN miners.

Teress aren't you from Czech Republic like me? I think I've sold you some timings like year ago.

What power supply I can use for the Baikal N.

Where to buy in europe?

Thanks
The sales page on the Baikal website for the Giant N states you need three 6pin connectors; these can be found on most power supplies- just check the product description of a PSU and you’ll likely find a list of connectors.

I don’t normally recommend molex or SATA to 6pin connectors as neither of these connectors are made to transfer huge amounts of power, but they should work here as the Giant-Ns use just 60w hashing CryptoNight and CryptoNight-N. Best to stick with a server PSU with a breakout board that has 6 pins on it, though, and these should turn up on an Amazon or EBay search for ‘Server PSU’ and ‘Breakout Board’ (note you’ll need to provide six-pin connectors for this unless the whole thing is preassembled or they come with the breakout board).
Molex -> 6pin -> 3x 6pin should be fine also. Those 2 adapters that come with Giant N are good.

snad v tý záplavě červených čísel potěší i nějaké pozitivní zprávy https://kryptomagazin.cz/coinbase-bude-podporovat-erc-20-tokeny/

Yep, we fixed it in our version of XMR-STAK, there is link in the first post. Also SRBMiner supports Haven.

Maybe better optimized... Can't say much, no source codes for SRBMiner. But uses the same kernel originally from Wolf.
Try to play with intensity and worksize.

Hey Mattthev, I know this is probably a super noobish question but I've just gotten into mining.

I'm trying to use the xmr stak miner but I keep receiving the "result rejected by pool" error. I also have the NVIDIA Invalid Result GPU ID 0 error. Do you have any idea of where I'm going wrong? Using a GTX 1080 and i7 7700K.

Wrong algo or wrong pool.

XMR-AEON-STAK on Github now with Haven fix reupload.
https://github.com/IndeedMiners/xmr-aeon-stak/releases/tag/2.4.3

result share but slow performance with vega64. 2x vega64 = 2900 h/s. must be 3750-3950 h/s
This is not CN algo anymore, it's SUMO's CN-Heavy with Haven changes, aprox. 30% less.

i wonder why i cant match srb miner's hashrate with yours? srb is 2% higher. but i dont know, his is not opensource.
