Day 26 Ranking

Today is a good day. Nearly every participants scored positive points.

Top 3 race is getting very very intense. Oasisman barely retained its rank 1 position as ranked 2 cabalism13 and ranked 3 Fatunad are close behind.

We might continue with another set of matches to continue this kind of momentum.

Eliminated participants:
1. Sanitough (6) - eliminated in day 5
2. able1337 (5) - eliminated in day 5
3. mirakal (6) - eliminated in day 7
4. TGD (5) - eliminated in day 7
5. Question123 (8.) - eliminated in day 10
6. Vaculin (7) - eliminated in day 11
7. Coin_trader (6) - eliminated in day 11
8. Clark05 (5) - eliminated in day 11
9. rhomelmabini (6) - eliminated in day 12
10. spadormie (5) - eliminated in day 12
11. danherbias07 (6) - eliminated in day 23

Rankings can also be seen, 3rd post in the first page, https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5197850.msg52950009#msg52950009

Important reminder:
NO NEW PARTICIPANTS AFTER DAY 30 MATCHES

With regards to the 60-day elimination round. Let us not accept any new participants after day 30 matches. It diminishes the spirit of the game. The possibility that most of the participants will continue to have low scores but were able to survive elimination, it is a good accomplishment already and they deserved the rights to fight for the top 10. We cannot allow new participants to just hopped in, take advantage and try their luck in the late stage of the elimination period.

This additional rule also means that those below the top 10 ranks need to step up. It is either they face the risk of elimination in order to reach the top 10 or stay below top 10 which doesn't make any sense. Remember, top 10 participants if feeling safe can stop predicting and hold on with their points. But for those trying to top the ranking in the First Stage, they do have an advantage during the Final Stage.

***In case of a tie in the runner ups, the First Stage ranking acts as the tie-breaker.

ONLY TOP 10 RANKED PARTICIPANTS LEFT IN THE GAME ENDS THE FIRST STAGE BEFORE 60 DAYS

Because the championship round or the final stage matters most. So if only the top 10 players remained in the game, they can stop predicting and just hold on with their points. So we would rather end the First Stage early and proceed to the final and championship round.

In case of inactive participants as the only remaining survivors outside the top 10, they will be informed thru pm with a deadline if they want to continue.

I hope this newly added mechanics of the game simplifies and clarifies everything.

Weird case. An interesting one. Upon reading, both sides have legit reasons. As a person with minor in law and a degree in accounting, I give a slight edge on yahoo62278.

I had a slight background in programming and I know starting a casino does have priorities. Setting maximum winnings is a priority and very important but isn't at par with setting maximum bets? If you program a certain limit on winnings then you gotta have to set the maximum bets too. These two features are like bow and arrow which won't work without supporting each other.

In the end, I agree with Coolcryptovator and TMAN proposals that both sides will meet halfway.

3444  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ESPORTS - predictions and tips (Dota 2, CS:GO, LoL) on: December 04, 2019, 12:39:56 PM
[CS:GO] My picks and prediction for ESL Pro League day 2:

Renegades - Sharks: Over 2.5, 2.03 @ BETSLIP
ATK - North: North -1.5, 1.90 @ BETSLIP
Astralis - G2: G2 1.5, 2.57 @ BETSLIP
FaZe - 100 Thieves: FaZe, 1.68 @ BETSLIP
mousesports - Team Liquid: mousesports 1.5, 1.66 @ BETSLIP
Fnatic - mibr: mibr 1.5, 1.68 @ BETSLIP

All matches are BO3, betting risk is normal to high. Odds are amazing for the bets i picked today. Astralis vs G2, i think Astralis will win for sure, no doubt in that, i just went for a small bet handicap on G2, hopefully they can surprise them in 1 map. Odds hunting today. 1.66+ odds minimum.

Hi rand1919. I'm copying your picks once again. Pity that there are only 4 of your picks available in Sportsbet CS:GO market.

Astralis - G2: G2 1.5
FaZe - 100 Thieves: FaZe
mousesports - Team Liquid: mousesports 1.5
Fnatic - mibr: mibr 1.5

So far I am 4-0 with 1.97 odds gains.
3445  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]:Crawford vs. Kavaliauskas on: December 04, 2019, 11:05:57 AM
Thanks, as expected Kavaliauskas is expected to lose in this fight base on the current odds. Check on Sportsbet.io the line is not yet there, probably we gonna see the lines once we get closer to the fight.

@AliMan - Crawford is being protected by Arum by all cost, I doubt that we will see champion vs champion is this division. For the record, here is the champions in welterweight division:

WBO: Terence Crawford

IBF: Errol Spence Jr.

WBA: Manny Pacquiao

WBC: Errol Spence Jr.

And the most logical fight to see champion vs champion here is Spence Jr. vs Pacquiao as both are stable mates under Haymon's PBC.

1. Kavaliauskas is the mandatory of the WBO belt. So he will get a crack of that that WBO title no matter who the champion is.
2. If you followed boxing for a while you should know that every promoter will do everything for their interest.
3. Do you think Errol Spence and Pacman are favorites against Crawford?
4. If your answer in #3 is no then why will Arum and Crawford not want to fight Pacman and Crawford Spence?
5. Have you watched and read news on the potential Crawford-Spence? You see who's talking and wanted the deal to make the fight happen? Who's silent? Who's the fighter that answers "you talk to my promoter..."?

1. Did you know that Derevyanchenko was Canelo's mandatory for the IBF MW belt? But did he get a crack at Canelo? So your argument that every mandatory challenger will always get a crack at the champion is flawed.

2. Oh please don't throw that argument to me, LOL. I've been following boxing since mid 80's when I was still a little boy, specially when I saw a sports magazine between Leonard and Hagler. When do you guys follow boxing? When Pacquiao become a household name? LOL. As a Pinoy, have you seen Rolando Navarette fights during his prime? Not on youtube of today, but watching it on a black and white TV back then. I bet you didn't because most of you Pinoy followers of Pacquiao wasn't even born yet. LOL.

3. Errol Spence will be the favorite against Crawford. Pacquiao is different story.

4. If you have been following boxing, I'm sure you heard about boxing politics? Did you know that Floyd and Dela Hoya used to be under Arum? and as of late Mickey Garcia bolted out because they can't fight anyone unless it's within Arum's stable?

5. Potential is the keyword here, as boxing fans I wanted to see them fight. But as I have said, there is boxing politics here, Arum wanted to keep all the money that's why he is setting fights within his stable of fighters. The only way for them to fight is when there is big money in the table, just like what Floyd vs Manny back then, and maybe they can step aside everything. But as this point, Crawford and Spence need to show more.

1. You just said you were following boxing since the 80's. So I thought you know the mando rules? Anyway, most boxing followers are casuals, so i'll explain. Every mandatory fighter will get a crack at the title. Canelo was stripped of the IBF belt for failing to fight Sergiy Derevyanchenko. Mandatory will fight for the vacant belt. So Sergiy Derevyanchenko fought against GGG for the vacant belt.

Crawford will lose his lone belt if he won't fight Kavaliauskas.

2. I don't know what your point is. Not all boxing followers are purists. My point was actually referring to your claim that Bob is protecting Bud at all cost. And I said all promoters protect their fighters (unless there are better deals). And that's what Al is doing on Spence and his other welters. Avoid Bud at all cost. You cannot hear nor read on Haymon and Spence and Pacman (under PBC years) challenging Bud. But you can find many of that on Bud and Arum challenging Spence.

3. We both agree to disagree on Bud-Errol odds. But I am very very confident Bud will be favorite against Spence. We can bet thru escrow if you want. I tried to google it on their odds. First answer gives Crawford a -125, which means Spence is the underdog.

4. Mate no offense but clearly you haven't followed boxing enough. But that's okay. No one is required to. Here are some of the stuffs you missed. You were too wrong on the names you mentioned. They fought fighters outside TR.

A. Floyd Mayweather left TR because he don't want any part of then WBO champion Antonio Margarito. Floyd was offered the largest payday but refused and paid Bob to buyout his contract. And Floyd's last fight before this issue was against Zab Judah, a Don King fighter. It was a joint promotion between TR and DKP under HBO pay-per view.

B. Oscar dela Hoya's career was ending when he left Bob and they were actually in good terms. Dela Hoya founded GBP when he was still under the TR banner. And Oscar fought many non TR fighters under DKP, GSP, etc.

C. Mikey Garcia leaving Bob was not a case of not fighting outside TR fighters. It was a claim that Mikey felt he deserved a bigger contract (money). It was even addressed and after more than 2 years of inactivity TR promoted his tune up. Mikey only left TR after the contract expired.

5. People should stop being one-sided. I am not a big fan of Arum and these greedy promoters. Fighters managements are the ones responsible negotiating better deals and squeeze money as much as possible, just like what Floyd Jr did to boxing and Connor to UFC.

An example that Arum is not really the worst snake everyone believe is his $100+ million promotional offer to Tyson Fury. Someone tells me how much Wilder is receiving per fight? Wilder's 40+ fight is not even worth $10 million in total.

[CS:GO] My prediction and picks for some ESL Pro League round 1 matches:

Evil geniuses - Fnatic: Evil geniuses, 1.72 @ BETSLIP

Heroic - 100 Thieves: 100 Thieves, 1.38 @ BETSLIP

North - Team Liquid: Team Liquid, 1.46 @ BETSLIP

FaZe - mibr: FaZe, 1.35 @ BETSLIP

Be careful, all opening matches are BO1, and odds are not the best. Skip opening rounds if you can. I went for few "safe" matches. Others i skipped, but there will be surprises for sure, there always is in EPL. Betting risk is extremely high here.

Congrats again mate. 2-1 so far with a tiny positive net income. The last game will be the decision maker.

I was late again. I only managed 1 bet and it was on Team Liquid against North. My 3rd bet on your picks.

So far I am 2-0, gaining 0.62 odds.

Good luck to you, myself and the others following your bets.

Who's watching NBA today? Especially Los Angeles Lakers - Dallas Mavericks? Ganda ng laban. Dikit ang laban nung first half kaso tinambakan na ng Mavs ang Lakers nung 3rd Quarter. Sana makahabol pa ang Lakers para mas maging interesado yung game. You can watch it in the link below.  Wink

Side note: I have no bet in this game. Just genuinely enjoying these 2 teams fight each other.

Ill think he deserve to become a All start in this regular season, Siguro matutuloy yan maging isa siya sa allstar choices.
Kung tuloy lang ang ganitong performance ni Lika sigurado na sa All Star. Di lang pang All Star kundi candidate for MVP pa. Sa ngayon leading sa stats sina Giannis, Luka at Harden. Iba rin talaga si Luka, lalo second year pa lang siya sa NBA at 20 years old pa.

Top 3 remained strong. Carlisle1 4-day positive points streak ended today. Middle ranks were shaking with lesser ties. Next matches will be posted tomorrow.

On other sports which deserved huge applause. We have a new world boxing champion in Johnriel Casimero. He earned the WBO bantamweight strap yesterday scoring a 3rd round stoppage over former long time champion Zolani Tete at Birmingham, England. In the SEA Games, the Philippines also started very strong on the medal tally race. Happy weekdays everyone. Stay positive. Grin

My first bet here in Cloudbet. I went all in to Philadelphia 76ers -6.5. Game result;

Knicks 95
76ers 101

Philly only won with a 6 points lead. That 0.5 difference hurts.😭 But thanks for the nice odds.

Welcome aboard Inthelongrun,

Seems like the spread was pretty much dead-on. Better luck next time, we are offering a Featured NBA Game every day with reduced juice so plenty of chances to keep betting on the Hoops with great odds.

Full details here

Thanks for the welcome. Do you have plans to add e-sports in your market? E-sports is growing very fast and many of its tournaments and prize pools are also becoming bigger especially DOTA 2. DOTA 2 (my favorite on e-sports), LoL, CS:GO and ML would be nice additions in the near future.

[CS:GO] My pick for ESC Season 8 grand finals:

Astralis - Liquid: Liquid 1.5, 1.53 @ BETSLIP

Match is BO3. Very low odds on Astralis ML, around 1.35 - 1.40, so i decided to go with Liquid +1.5 handicap, i think they can pull off 1 map for sure, even tho Astralis is big big favourite for another ECS title.

Congrats on your wins mate. Been busy lately and wasn't able to catch some of your tips. I got this one at 1.64, again at Sportsbet. I am currently 1-0 (win-loss) with 0.44 (odds) gains.

Do you also play Dota 2, CS:GO and LoL?

Good luck on our bets and may the gods of luck be with us. Grin

Guys, you should watch this interview https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eOXFH0f9kp4

I think Ruiz mentally more prepared than Joshua. On minutes 09:48, he believes that AJ quit the last match. What do you think?

Ruiz has the higher confidence in this rematch since he already stopped AJ on their first encounter. And this is an immediate rematch. AJ dared without a break nor tune ups which is very risky career wise. But I don't think AJ quit on their first encounter. It was the referee that stopped it.

Do I have to remind how last El Clasico without Messi ended? Smiley. But yeah, in long term it would hurt us a lot, even with Messi Barca is far from perfect football.
but you need to realize that Messi will not be able to play in other clubs, maybe he will spend his time playing football just for Barcelona, as I know he has no talent for playing other than in the Spanish League. unlike other Star players.  Tongue
What made you say that? Messi is loyal to Barcelona but we don't know maybe 2 years from now he will be released in favor of a younger star. But I don't think Messi has no talent playing with other teams. The guy is a legend. If Ronaldo did well at Juventus then Messi can do it too.

while Real Madrid will face 4 matches that might be said to be easier than Barcelona's opponents.

vs Alaves
vs Espanyol
vs Club Brugge
vs Valencia

here I thought that the El-Clasico match would later be won by Real Madrid.

what about your prediction?
Those teams may look easy but they sometimes give Real Madrid hard time, so iwoudn't be so quick to conclude that Real Madrid have easy fixtures before El Clasico.

For the Clasico Match i am going to predict a stalemate with goals... 1 all  or 2 all.

Real Madrid is struggling so it won't be that easy.  I think Barcelona got this.

My first bet here in Cloudbet. I went all in to Philadelphia 76ers -6.5. Game result;

Knicks 95
76ers 101

Philly only won with a 6 points lead. That 0.5 difference hurts.😭 But thanks for the nice odds.
