Sorry to be stupid, but just to be clear, with something like this, you plug it in, attach to mother board and graphics cards and it just runs? No additional tweaking, soldering wires, tricking it to turn on etc?
Sounds like the main advantage over buying ordinary server supplies and tinkering with them all by yourself...hence the price difference

rx470 is more effective to mine ethereum ,and even r7 370 seems to be more economic than rx560 .
My R9 270X is on par with RX560 in EXP or UBIQ mining, but uses twice as much power...maybe even more It was cheaper to buy used, but its more expensive in the long run What sort of hashrate do you get for the R9 270X. On my Sapphire R9 270X 4GB I get 10Mh/s for Ethash and 455 h/s for Cryptonote (with Afterburner OC settings). It's just profitable enough to mine something like Electroneum with the R9 270X. Update; Modded BIOS on R2 270X, 1375 straps to 1500/1625/1750, now getting 10.5 Mh/s on Ethash and 463 h/s on Cryptonote, with Afterburner Core Clock 1200 & Mem Clock 1500. 14MH/s ethash, but mining expanse, since its 2GB card You used hex editor to copy straps? I don't dare to do it with mine

many coins did x2 this week and many did much more than that.. so i dont see anything special about that Indeed...I have some waves too, but I gained more from few other coins

The cards have dual bios, with a switch. i flashed the first bios which failed so i flipped the switch, which reverted it back to stock. but i would like to get the other bios back in operation so i can mod it, as i am left now with 1 good bios on the card and i dont want to lose the whole card by trying to flash the last remaining bios. ( in case it is a hardware issue with the internals of the card) do you understand what im saying now? as i can get more detailed in my description or add pictures of the card with the switch if you have never seen dual bios cards before I have flashed 34 rx480's with no issue, some with dual bios some without. but this is the first time ive encountered this type of issue after flashing a card with direct bios off that card with added mild modifications as it was only undervolting and slight adjustment to the max power that you did < right notbatman.
Unlike notbatman, i avoid changing anything in BIOS but highest strap, just for cases like this when things go badly Windows won't boot with bad bios card UNLESS you remove amd drivers completely (and try to connect monitor on good card, or even better, integrated GPU). After doing that, windows will let you boot, and atiflash will let you reflash good bios over bad one Also, its Christmas time, don't be so angry about me asking a bit of explanation, and cheer up a bit

When i start cpu miner i keep getting this red lines and i dont understand it Reboot your PC before starting miner...you probably got miner crashed, tried to restart, but monitoring port stayed bound to previous attempt

So i flashed the card, and it corrupted the bios, after it stated flashed successful and reboot, windows stayed at a black screen. when i switched the bios back to stock it booted up fine. Ive never had a corrupted bios after flashing.
So, you switched bios back to stock, and it booted up fine, but you need help to switch bios back? Call me confused here

Its always better to modify straps manually than just do memshift (if you know what you're doing, of course)
Also, are you sure you got one with pure Micron memory, or its Elpida-micron?
TechGPUz shows only Micron, how do I check if it's Elpida-micron? Pretty sure mine is same as Vann's screenshot above. I have limited knowledge on modifying straps manually so I guess I will be sticking with memshift for now. Do you know if it's possible to copy the 1750 timing strap to 1875 strap as well? Will it increase the hash rate this way? Thanks Thanks, didn't notice his screenshot, sounds like true Micron My experience from RX560 cards tell me this could actually be awesome performer with good BIOS, as I managed to get 16.3MH/s stable with such weak card (its basically as RX570 with everything halved) And no, 1875 strap is not important (becomes unimportant the moment you hit 1876MHz memory clock) I wish I have one of those cards to play with it

It is heavily invested everywhere and i expect the market to grow to at least Trillion
Dotcom market was worth about 20 times more than crypto market today, before it crashed It crashed, of course, but that doesn't mean Internet died Those people have many ripples and they want it to go unrealistic prices, that's all. They want more newcomers. For ripple to hit $5, we need to have $3 trillion market cap in total coin world. This is not a far target. Easy to understand.
No we don't...we surely need increased cap, but total cap vs ripple price didn't have much correlation throughout 2017

Well seriously I didnt expect that much pump from ripple. This week were the week of ripple. I do not believe that ripple can go up much more than 1 dollar for 1 year. But it is up to whales. IF they want to pump it can be even more than 10 dollars. And also ripple team know how to manipulate market.
What do you think will happen when we see news from month ago "The Japan Bank Consortium — a coalition of 61 banks in Japan, organized by SBI Ripple Asia — has announced the launch of a new Ripple pilot with Woori Bank and Shinhan Bank, two of South Korea’s largest banks with a collective market capitalization of more than $30 billion." changes to "The Japan Bank Consortium — a coalition of 61 banks in Japan, organized by SBI Ripple Asia — has announced that their pilot Ripple project succeeded beyond expectations, and from now on they decided to switch from SWIFT to Ripple network"?

Until the price reaches $10, the totalmarketcap would be 450 billion dollars, much more than what bitcoin has now (250B) So it means that if bitcoin needs to do another x10 to make ripple worth $10 at least.
Why do you mean Ripple price is in any way connected with BTC? Take year 2017, put ripple and btc prices on same graph, and you won't see much correlation at all

I'm expecting a rise from Ripple. But I think this rise won't show continuity. I believe there are better coins to be invested. Frankly, I don't trust Ripple. I hope, it does not hurt anyone.
Yeah ripple is really bad mmkay? no please. Stop to be an idiot. Research more. I wonder how it can hurt someone... member satoshilite dumping on his followers? I member Or all the anon devs vanishing after big pumps and dumps wont work with ripple. They are registered and legit, you can sue them if they do "hurt" anyones feelings Well, its true that you can earn faster money with many shitcoins...you just have to find out which 3-4 out of 2500 will moon that day...but I sleep better holding my XRP bag

You need to use the blockchain drivers or with the latest 17.1x.x drivers toggle the GPU's to compute mode in AMD settings. That applies the DAG size fix when mining ETH.
I've toggle the GPU's compute mode and it indeed works! Now without flashing it hits 27.X MH/s, with flashing (copying 1750 to 2000) it managed to increase to 28.X MH/s and with Trixx Overclock/Undervolt (1150/2150), it managed to hit 29.X MH/s. I tried using the AutoConfig Bios Polaris 1.6.6 but it didn't work so I reverted to 1750 to 2000 method. My question is, is it normal to have a mere ~1 MH/s from flashing? I usually see greater increase from flashing. Did I missed out something? I'm hoping to get at least a 31 MH/s Is it better to use the AMD Block Chain Drivers or the normal drivers then switching from gaming to compute mode? Thank You Its always better to modify straps manually than just do memshift (if you know what you're doing, of course) Also, are you sure you got one with pure Micron memory, or its Elpida-micron?

Funny, after blockchain drivers been merged with regular ones for the last 5 driver releases, people still use old blockchain drivers from August

Hey there I 've an msi rx 580 8gb armor graphic card. I use Claymore's v10.2 and hashing solo eth. I download many roms which hashed 30 Mh/s or smtg(at least ppl said that). but I can not reached even 22 Mh/s. I tried many overclock options with roms. please help me. What sould I do?
People usually expect bios to OC their card too...but many people (me included) like to OC manually with windows program, because not all the cards are able to achieve same frequencies, so if you play safe, you don't get max performance, and if you play aggressively, you can brick the card Sounds to me that you forgot to OC

i cant run this as administrator on ANY of my windows 10 machines. it just opens and closes immediately. Anyone else have this issue and figure out a fix for it?
thanks!
Maybe your AV software stops it (windows defender, maybe)? It happened to me on some GPU miners

Hi, when I do have R9 280x and HD 7950 with Hynix memories, can I use this guide, or it would not work for these old cards?
It won't work, and theres no tool to easily edit straps in those cards, except hex editor...AFAIK

Anyone compared this miner with mkxminer for lyra2 algo?
mkx is pretty fast, but often (randomly) unstable for me

Only thing that can make it not profitable would be new, cheaper and faster video cards coming out soon...but I doubt that
