So basically, ANYONE sending money to a merchant that has gotten chargeback fraud must now be completely verified. I think this is the death knell for the long-lasting Dwolla/Bitcoin relationship.

AMD offers the equivalent of VT-d (some say it is even better actually), called IOMMU. If you have an AMD based platform, that is the option you need for this to work.

Because p2pool is as reliable as your internet connection, and the machine(s) it runs on. A traditional pool is just another potential failure point, and I don't know of ANY pure PPS pools that have no fee.
Mt.Red Ah, I hadn't realized they were no-fee. Cool.

to clarify this argument I guess I would have to see some definition on what exactly this means: You could achieve some scary computing densities
Lots of hash in a small box.

What do you guys think of an "assets" subforum to Lending? This seems like the most appropriate categorization, since buying an asset is similar to giving a loan.
Would that apply to bonds and other securities? Actually, either "securities" or "Stocks, Bonds, and Securities" might be good names for the subforum.

Why is P2Pool better than a reliable PPS pool?
Curious what your opinion is.

sounds like fubar to me. No matter how cool you are able to keep it, it will never go faster than the bitstream thats loaded on it
You can "overclock" an FPGA by adding voltage, same as a GPU. The difference is that it is rarely adjustable without replacing resistors and stuff on the board. You could then program the firmware to go faster. Keeping stuff cool isn't always about speed though. It dramatically helps the reliability and expected lifespan of most any part.

Heh, heh .. looks like an ideal trojan vector to get root-kits onto lots of bitcoin dev machines .... just saying. Royal Canadian mint USB stick ... just trust us, uh-huh. In the US the Secret Service is still a branch of the US Treasury I believe. zomg gonna hax0r my BSD system 11!!!1!

This does not look very professional to me. And your highness would like what kind of changes to make the kit "professional"? It looks rather good to me. Oh, I'm just trying to be pessimistic here. You are not helping out. I like to think of it as complementary, not competition, so I am optimistic.

Some are in the head Marketplace forum, some in Services, some in Lending. It's very hard to keep track of.
I agree that it should not be GLBSE-specific, especially given MPEx is gaining listings now too, plus there are other unlisted offers.

Many feature phones have a very stripped down java VM, and you have to code for an insanely small screen. It isn't much fun, and besides all that you have to deal with communication, which sure isn't 3G or better - it's going to be GPRS or SMS. No fun.

Do you offer an option with a bigger heatsink, and a detachable collimator?

Hey, at least it isn't an idiot that hardly knows how his own business runs and has a hard time elucidating his own thoughts.
Whom do you have in mind? Not anyone specific, but it seems that we have an overabundance of such businesspeople.

I think you may be misrepresenting what a "potential customer" is.
I've rarely seen it equated with "random troll" before, but I am glad to hear you will be starting an exchange to pilot the high seas of lulz with a trusty complement of such high-value, hard-hitting, dream customers. Or alternatively they could just express themselves on GLBSE.
As the supposed MPOE public relation handle, I find the tone of your messages highly unprofessional. Your lambasting of potential customers, making very bold claims about your system and systematically mocking your competitors (future or existing) paints the rather worrying picture of someone with a very large ego, very little business sense, and that is going to have a very hard time handling the unavoidable conflicts that will occur during the operation of MP[OE,Ex]. I initially found your system(s) interesting, but given what I've observed so far, I will stay on the sidelines. Good luck with the smart ass attitude. Hey, at least it isn't an idiot that hardly knows how his own business runs and has a hard time elucidating his own thoughts.

Damnit guys, why the fuck do you have to chase away the entrepreneurs? If no one wants it, STFU and it will die from infant mortality, but no need for all the bullshit.

Whats going on? The first few days, my VPS was blazing fast. Now its slow as molasses. Even loading the VEportal page is barely loading. I was gonna claim my 10%, but Id rather see this fixed.
Probably some idiot running a miner.

by the way, is the Bitcoin community just a big sausage fest or what?
Yeah, mostly.

This pool reminds me of YourBTC back in the day, is it running the same code?
On the bottom of every OzCoin page you'll find: BIG Thanks to urstroyer for not only allowing us to use yourbtc frontend but spending hours helping us setup and migrate. So, yes it run's the same code but I guess Graet and his staff did a lot of changes since... Yup, and the backend is ecoinpool, which is a pool software written in Erlang. I hear that it is scalable and solid.

Why can you guys only pay 100% when Project #2 can pay 105% ?
Probably because they don't hop the shitty pools that give high stales, rejects, and bad connections. If you skip those, it reduces the number of pools to choose from, a lot. Also the backend is pretty extensive and therefore expensive, from what I have been led to believe.
