It's easiest to do both - use GPUMAX as your primary pool, and set the non-work pool from GPUMAX as Clipse's server, so when public work isn't being processed you can failover to Clipse's setup. That is GPUMAX internal passthrough, so if they die you won't be able to pass through to Clipse, so make sure you set a failover pool on your rig(s) as well. Your first failover could be Clipse, your second could be EMC or Ozcoin.

1) The SSL certificate is from a SSL provider that has been compromised.
It doesn't matter if a site uses a "weak" certificate authority, since any CA can override any other CA's certificates. (The CA system is terrible.) It's smartest to use the cheapest CA you can. StartCom/StartSSL has been compromised? Do please enlighten me - I make extensive use of their services.

Think you've got enough tags there? I'm on the metaphorical edge of my seat; when do you plan to divulge further details regarding this "huge" news? There are only so many reason to move a mining farm...... Nice, I know of 2 that are important, and 1 that isn't usually as much of a problem - cheaper electricity, cheaper or better cooling (probably doesn't apply in this case), and cheaper rent. I'm guessing the first.

How much does it cost to walk around and pick through everything? And do you know if they have any old computers? I could always use another c64 How about an IBM Selectric II?

I don't think bitcoin-qt gets added to your PATH environment variables, so you would need the full path to the executable. Easiest just to open a command window (type cmd into the start menu and hit enter), and then type: "C:\Program Files (x86)\Bitcoin\bitcoin-qt.exe" -rescan including the quote marks. This assumes that you are using 64-bit Windows 7 - it will be different on other Windows versions (remove the '(x86)' part.

A +1 on SeaSonic. But watch out it is hard to go back once you have gone with the best.
Those are the brands I love. I do love me a Cooler Master case. You'll never go back to Cooler Master after you've had a taste of Silverstone Aha, and once you try Lian Li, you'll ditch both Silverstone and Cooler Master like bad habits.

Any update ? This was the most interesting mining non-FPGA thread.
Is the Rig all running now ?
Not really, I just got the fan controller but haven't had a chance to install it. I'd like to do it tomorrow, but that's the day of the state auction, and I sure as heck am not going to miss that. http://www.das.ohio.gov/Divisions/GeneralServices/Surplus/WarehouseNextAuction.aspx I also only have 13 cards, so I need to get some more. I guess I'm kind of waffling around, hoping that a pile of 7990s drop in my lap sometime soon, although that is rather unlikely lol.

What size SSD does it have? You may be able to get that amount in parts, but I don't think you will.
$250 - i7-2600k $130 - Case $150 - Mobo $1/gb - SSD $50 - H70 $100-$150 - Misc. Parts (don't know what RAM either)
Pricing also depends on warranty and transferrability, even so some of these prices may even be steep to a few people
The SSD is a 120GB model. Sorry I didn't make that clear in the OP. I just remembered that I have a newegg wishlist for this system (handy things, those!), and here it is: http://secure.newegg.com/WishList/PublicWishDetail.aspx?WishListNumber=12835809That would be a new build obviously, which totals about $1225 not including the case which has been deactivated (it included a 600W PSU). So since it is used (preassembled for you... lol), how does 205 BTC sound, with shipping to lower 48? Also, brb to update OP to show SSD size and add the Blu-ray drive.

Asking 250 BTC shipped.
Is that a typo? I don't think so, were you wanting to make an offer? It cost me quite a bit more than that when I built it a month or so ago, but I haven't really been following the component prices since then.

SOLDSelling my custom built desktop computer. It is a small size computer in the Mini-ITX form factor - see the whole album of pictures here: http://imgur.com/a/ezXs3The motherboard is a Zotac Z68 Wifi, and it has an Intel Core i7-2600K processor for maximum overclockabilty. The case is a Silverstone Sugo SG-07 with a 600 watt power supply - enough to run the most powerful graphics card that you can stuff into the case! The processor is cooled with a closed loop water cooling system to keep the system totally quiet. The water cooler is a Corsair H70. There is a 2TB Western Digital hard drive for bulk storage, and an OCZ Vertex 3 MAX IOPS edition Solid State Drive for ultimate speed. There is also a second drive bay available to add another SSD, so you could have them in a RAID 0 for even more speed! No video card is included, but you can add your own if you want to. The motherboard has onboard video - 2 HDMI ports and 1 Mini-DisplayPort port. There is room for a 5970 or 7970, and the PSU will handle one of those beasts with ease. If you want to reduce the price, I can sell it without the SSD and/or HDD - make an offer! Asking 250 205 BTC shipped. EDIT: The SSD is 120 GB, and the system includes a slot-loading Blu-ray reader and DVD writer. Monster laptop for sale! This is a used Eurocom D900F workstation laptop with an Intel Core i7-980X desktop processor inside. You can see the Eurocom page on their website about it here: http://eurocom.com/products/showroom/specselectnew.cfm?model_id=202Higher resolution pictures can be found on imgur here: http://imgur.com/a/gX9j6 or just click the pics. It has a 17 inch screen with a resolution of 1920x1200 pixels, and the screen has a built-in 3.0 megapixel webcam. The laptop is based on the X58 desktop chipset, with the massively powerful Core i7-980X Extreme processor inside! It has 12 GB of DDR3 RAM, and THREE places for hard drives. There are 2 power bricks included, 220 watts each. The motherboard and video card have been replaced, and the machine is running in tip-top condition. It is slightly dusty from normal use. It weighs about 12 pounds, and includes a 12-cell battery. The battery is near the end of its life, and might need to be replaced. However, even when the battery is brand new, the laptop won't run for more than 1 hour on it because it is so powerful. It really is designed as a portable desktop, meant to be plugged in all the time and moved occasionally. If you want them, I can throw in a pair of 320GB hard drives for use in RAID 0 or 1. They have been used in the machine for most of its life. A Windows installation is not included, but for an extra cost I can buy and install Windows 7 Professional 64-bit for you. If you want other parts such as an SSD or other hard drives, feel free to email me and let me know - I can purchase and install them for just the cost of the parts. Asking 425 BTC shipped in the US or make a reasonable offer.

I think you need to make up your mind; are you going to stop posting about Bitcoinica, or are you going to keep telling us more and more.
Doesn't look like any more information than was already available.

x64 version of BAMT?
There isn't one, is there?

Yup, its outside. Why pay to pump the heat out of my house (air conditioning) when I can let mother nature do it for me? Been like that for at least 8 months with no significant problems.
No rain? Or just sheltered some other way? It looks precarious, but if it has worked that long there isn't any reason to change it.

I am looking for miners that support the widest range of computers (highest driver/card compatibility etc.) for both CPU and GPU. Recommend me some. Don't tell me CPU mining isn't worth it anymore.
Would you care to explain a use case for this outside of a botnet or stolen electricity?

A good modern SSD should have a decent garbage collection algorithm built into the firmware, but not all of them have one. If you are going to use RAID, get drives that have hardware GC.

Or add this into your config file:
"scan-serial" : [ "bitforce:COM3", "bitforce:COM4", "bitforce:COM5", "bitforce:COM6", "bitforce:COM7" ],
Unfortunately, I just tried this and it does not detect the device. Passing -S \\.\COM25 works, but adding "scan-serial" : [ "bitforce:COM25" ], does not work. I also tried bitforce:\\.\COM25, but got a JSON decode error.
