So since you still have all the mining power available to you, how much will it cost me to have a stress test against my instance of ecoinpool that I set up? I only want an hour or 2 of lots of speed to see how well it works.
I'm working on a central config that would allow me to do this pretty easily (giga probably has a better setup in this respect) But given the number of rigs I'd have to change over in my present setup it would be a lot of work if you needed a lot of hash power. How many gh/s are you thinking? I dunno, I just wanted to turn it up until either my virtual machine crashed or my internet connection went down. I wish p2k was back with some updates though.

You are extremely difficult to work with.

So far, I haven't heard any substantial arguments against the plan, other than ones that can be explained away with "we can't predict conversion rate, difficulty rate, etc", and I am OK with that. Where do I invest?

I will mention the -3N grade. It is a runt grade, and very misleading, that Xilinx created because they had a die yield issue on memory controllers in S6. It should have been called -2N because most of the guaranteed specs are the same as -2. I think the clock tree is virtually the only one the same as -3. So our competitors selling -3N are probably not any faster than the -2 we are currently using.
OK so let me ask - since -3N is a runt, is it cheaper than -2? Mining doesn't use a whole lot of memory, so if the -3N grade has bad memory but is as fast as -3 and cheaper than -2, it makes sense to use it I would think. Or am I way off base here?

I've always wondered how does one read this ....
"Zynga posted a loss of $85.35 million on revenue that climbed to nearly $321 million from the $242.9 million seen in the first three months of last year."
So they lost revenue but revenue climbed to 321 from 242 how is that a lost ? so confused....I'm bad with math lol
Revenue is the gross proceeds, such as all incoming monies, not including any costs of any kind. So more money can flow into a business, which makes revenue go up. But if the cost of doing business exceeds the revenue, then there is a net loss, I.E. they spent more than they made.

If you need a finished, packaged, in-the-box solution to accepting bitcoins, I can recommend http://bit-pay.com/ as a merchant solution with reasonable fees. Items can be priced in coins or in fiat, and the proceeds from a bitcoin sale can be deposited directly into your bank account as fiat. You even have the option to split the output and get your cost in fiat, and the profit in raw bitcoins.

rjk, are you buying replacement teeth for BTC yet? if so, i may have a deal for you..
lol I was enjoying some candy and a filling popped out, so yeah I need to see my dentist. But the candy is good, and no I don't plan on eating it all, most of it will be sold.

Don't forget to email eldentyrell and ask for your 5 BTC.

Well, at least I got my Coineer magazine now.
So it did end up being the first physical bitcoin magazine after all...
No pics? Do tell. When will mine arrive?

Absence of proof is not proof of absence.
Yep, this is why I try my hardest not to get sucked in to an argument, although it gets difficult at times. But I do find it... shall we say ...interesting... that nothing has been found to have been written or recorded about Mohammed during his lifetime or within a century thereafter. I dunno, maybe the manuscripts got burnt in a fire.

All the advertising shit at the end pisses me off. I hope that is strictly opt-in, and can be disabled. However, I recognize that that is probably the only thing that will sell it to big businesses. Sorry to quote myself, but has everyone watched the video? Why isn't my comment getting a little love? Advertising is the bane of my existence, targeted advertising ever so much more so. I hope and pray that it can be disabled. Why so hard on advertising? Do you realize what it does? It gives you free TV shows, free websites, free (or very cheap) newspapers, free (or very cheap) magazines, etc etc. Do you just want to pay for everything instead? I'd rather put up with the ads and save a few bucks, myself. I don't watch TV I pay for or donate to the websites that I need I don't read the newspaper (does anyone these days?) I pay for my mags, and the ad-free ones cost a bit more With advertising that is this targeted, things are going to get creepy, fast. Did you miss the irony in your signature?
Asking for voluntary donations is the same as selling a product that is highly targeted?

Reading how you are trying to put some wisdom inside a trash can is very painful for me and a big waist of time.
Great analogy. Very pertinent. Also, here is a video: http://vimeo.com/41028028

You've got to have serious HVAC...
The winder was a breeze, I punched through the wall to an abandoned 6 floo elevator shaft. I pump the heat into the shaft, then bring in cold air from the shaft (Shaft is not insulated). Beautiful temps all winter. Now that it's summer, I simply only vent into the shaft, that air is replaced with cool air from the HVAC. The HVAC is set up to create positive pressure in the server room, thus the exhaust of the hot air balances nicely. I'm sure the building owner and local Fire Marshall are quite happy that you punched a hole through a 4 hour fire rated wall to exhaust hot air to save on cooling costs. lol, I know right? Not to mention that the server room will be the first to go up in smoke if there is a fire on the ground floor anywhere near the elevator shaft.

I've been running this for the last 30 minutes or so and can't see too much difference between it and CGminer (for GPUs anyway)......so far.
1 thing, my 'Web Monitor App' using the API... For DEVS/GPU Voltage, my cards are all giving me 13 decimal places (ie. HD6950 = 1.1000000238419 V, instead of 1.1 V that it usually reports). Obviously not a big deal, as I can trim that down on my end in php.
I never thought I would say this, but.... good job Luke.
It's the same thing. He just rebranded it and will be maintaining the codebase separately from cgminer's so that the FPGA stuff works how he wants it to.

OK I think it works, but I'm a little confused by this display output (below) - it seems to increment the aux block numbers, but not the main chain?

They had a lot of bill-pay related fraud, so I can hardly blame them. Although driving to a location to deposit cash isn't the easiest thing, it is probably the only way to get money in with solid reliability.
