365  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] FAILCoin | EMPOEX EXCHANGE IS CLOSING | UPCOMING RELAUNCH on: March 09, 2018, 12:09:40 PM
Hey guys,

I couldn't do it yesterday. FAILCoin became 4 years old so... Happy Birthday to us! Smiley

Also, apologize that it seems that we're not around, but we are. I am currently in training at the company I started working for over a year now, Adam is busy  with arranging his 3th CoinFestUK and Panoch has a (good) thing in his family, but I can't share it as he likes his privacy. I believe that we'll have more by the end of May, but again - no promises. My training is finishing at the end of this month and I will then have conversations with the team.

Cheers,
Spartak

Yep, still here pal! CoinFestUK is getting big! Over 500 tickets claimed, quite a jump from last year! Hopefully will see you there!

FAIL is not forgotten! We will FAIL on!

376  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: CryptoGrabber - A physical arcade claw machine converted to accept Bitcoin on: January 16, 2018, 10:41:33 AM
This machine accepting bitcoin payment is used for what utility? Or does it function as a
blockchain extender platform or it is designed specifically for payment of certain service?
Is this machine also scalable for any expansion of some sort?

It is to show people how digital currencies can blend into the real-world via physical interaction.
377  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Launched : CryptoGiveaways.org - Faucet - Claim BTC, OK, EMC2, OZC, GRN and DMD on: January 15, 2018, 03:00:09 PM
Cool so it's pretty much a multi-coin faucet with some information for newbies, very good.

If you don't mind me asking, is this a non-profit venture? If it's ad free (which is amazing btw) how do you
intend to generate income? Does it come from the coin's that you add?

Also I haven't checked out any type of give-away/faucets in a while, atleast not since this last boom in crypto.
From what I remember many faucets struggled with bots and people multi-accounting ect.

What's your outlook on the future of faucets and giveaway sites?

Yep that's right.

Yep it is. We charge a fee for a coin to to be added and a percent (around 1% to 2%) per month. These funds go to the development of the site and improvements we may need.

Yeah, we did a trial period (for around 6 months) where the claims were manually processed (quite a lot of work!), this taught us alot of from this we traced 4 bots which were trying to automate our systems but bots change and we will change, we have a few back-end tracers on bots but someone will write something new and try to be greedy - we will adapt best we can.

We are currently building our own independent API system, pulling prices direct from exchange and not reliant on a third-party (besides the exchange!)

There is definitely a future, if we are in it or not we will see.
378  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: CryptoGrabber - A physical arcade claw machine converted to accept Bitcoin on: January 15, 2018, 02:54:46 PM
Not posted here in awhile but I’m still working on this machine.

(...)

Either way the machine will be back at CoinFestUK2018 😎

I also want to get my danceOmatic to CoinFestUK2018! Tongue
I cannot PM you anymore since there has been added this new option about NOT ACCEPTING PM's FROM NEWBIES. Can you switch that off so we can continue our dialogue? -(and PM me when you have done so. Thanks!)
Also witch currency would be the best to perform this fast micro transactions atm. Digibyte?

Best regards!

 Grin

I didn't know of that feature, my apologies. This has been switched off.

There are many but Digibyte is a very good one.
