Thanks pineapples !
We will add a 'Help setting up a node' section to the site, I'll credit you on the page!
no worries the tricky bit i didnt go through is setting up a tunnel with the vps. so you can chat with it through a terminal interface. digitalocean offer one through their droplet infos, but i've always had problems using it, probably just bad ping. windows users need to use putty, but as i'm on OSX i can just open a terminal and just connect I'll drop you a PM of where I am up too with the website

These are really cool, I've bookmarked the page http://analytx.io/map is definitely the nicest imho, some of them are pretty buggy or have obnoxious sounds ^ I like that, it reminds of me of the Norse map ( http://map.norsecorp.com) This also looks good but doesn't work on the iPad (I get a car about every 5 minutes), will look at it on laptop later.

Did anyone from here go to this event this year? If so what was it like?
The site has no real information about the 2016 event.
For CoinFest UK we will have quite a few speakers but want more of an open feel to the event, really an event where users can come and see hardware vendors offering Bitcoin / PC equipment, play the latest GameCredits TC game, get freebies and have a general chat about crypto currencies.

We have a Datacoin information site in the pipeline and its around 80% complete. I have had good feedback on its progress from members of the community, as AtomSea said we need working instructions to include on the website, areas we are covering include:
- Help with setting up your wallet - Mining Guides
If anyone thinks of something else we should have on the site, speak up and we will get it added. If anyone wants to contribute to the site or wants a look over it before it going live let me know, all contributions will be credited.

I like your "Cryptocurrency "The Alt-ernative" A Beginner's Reference" book, very informative and a good reference book, I myself am writing a crypto book to be released next year.
Oh, I am interested to know more about your project. Have you got any links to preliminary material? Thank you for your praise. My project started off nearly a year and half ago and was started as a crypto guide but as I have wrote more (and updated accordingly with the ever changing landscape) it has become more of a book, I've registered the ISBN etc and will be releasing some contracts later in the year for graphics / advertising but for now all is under wraps. I'll be sending sections out to set people for feedback and will keep you on my list 😀

This is interesting! i can see the tweets, but how do i post one? should i download the wallet along with the blockchain? or can i just register for an online wallet?
Register on the online wallet, it's very easy to use

Looks very interesting, website is easy to navigate and has plenty of tools, tweeting looks as easy as (if not easier) than tweeting on Twitter!
How do you cope with SPAM?
I'll give it a test properly later and will be grabbing some MaskCoins, seems the site doesn't fully work via my iPad.

That is a beautiful and very useful platform, nice work.
Shame it doesn't work on my iPad!
Agreed TBH, implementing this kind of tool on tablets is a challenge per se because of UX. For now, it's out of my reach because of limited resources but may be in the future... Understood but still an amazing tool to add to the Bitcoin arsenal, great job!

I would like to caution people about downloading and installing extensions from untrusted sources. Many have been known to contain harmful scripts that can lead to a loss of Bitcoins and Altcoins stored on your local machine. Always use a VM for testing first.
If I get time later today I will download this in a test environment and publish results.
I'm eager to see the results of your test. I don't have a wallet or personal information on the machine I installed the extension on. I installed it and found it useful. Assuming it is not malware, thanks to the OP for building and sharing this tool. I found nothing malicious at all, seems to be a nice extension. Just to be clear I wasn't calling OP a scammer or anything, just advising people to be careful out there. Yesterday I found someone on here posting a faucet bot that had a keylogger + private key sweeper in it. Nowadays it pays to be vigilant and approach everything with caution :-/ Good to be cautious! Great extension, will use for now on

I had an idea like that about a year ago, Bitcoin visulisations are a great way to look at Bitcoin translations

Indeed, I did run the Chrome Apps & Extensions Developer Tool on the extension but didn't see anything malicious, do let me know what you find

It looks like a nicely designed extension with some nice features. No GBP price - Could offer a option to switch between currencies. I like how you can select an address on a webpage to get the account info / balance etc

Yeah, I will continue with my own project anyway as I know then how it is built and what it is made of (No dodgy code). I am more looking at a mobile way of keeping track of BTC prices and a few Altcoin prices (Because I have before missed some spikes), I did see a watch using the Kindle type screen but the price was extortionate.
So me building my Pi to perform this would only be for me to make sure the code is 100% then I would mod the hardware to work in a mobile way
