Good to hear you're taking the initiative, as far as I'm aware there isn't any block explorer online..  Or is Brit listed on any exchanges anymore.

It's a shame Ken has vanished, the least he could do it hand the reins over to someone else Sad

Could you send me the wallet links as I am not sure which ones are the latest, if you have all the links i.e. Source and Windows that would be great

Private Alpha Testing is now live

The feedback already from our testers has been amazing and we continue to receive it, Alpha testing will stay open for quite awhile now and all feedback / recommendations will be credited on launch

1363  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: CryptoCalc.org - Altcoin Profit/Loss Calculator on: December 17, 2015, 09:46:15 AM
It's a very interesting project you have here, how up to date are all the price feeds?

Would you work on developing a web based profit/loss calculator similar to this?

Thank you! I appreciate it.

The prices update every five minutes.

I have been contemplating developing an interactive portfolio balancing site, or an iOS app possibly.

A desktop based app or mobile app is an interesting concept for this type of project, I could see myself using this definitely !

Do you guys have a working block explorer? Or should I get one up and running.

It would be good to see the current distribution.

Go for it. It would be nice to get one up and running.

Ok will get started soon, do you or anyone have a list of the current services that Britcoin has I.e. Faucet, games, pools, exchanges etc!

1369  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Win 1 BTC & Support Bitcoin Alert Service App Crowdfund - 74% funded 4 days left on: December 14, 2015, 08:17:50 PM
Hey bud, any update on this project?

My apologies, I lost track of my forum posts since I have been very busy.
This project is delayed because of the success and press attention of another app that I developed and the complexity of the development of the Bitcoin app. But I have some good news. Release is expected in 10-14 days! Smiley

I will post an update as soon as the beta version is available, both for Android and iOS.
Branding is also completed and you can review the logo under this link:

No problem at all, looking forward to release!

How is the VPS running?

Very nice logo BTW

1371  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Simple script that will display balance on a website on: December 13, 2015, 10:22:03 PM
Hi everyone a little help required  Smiley

I want to include in my website the balance of one of my BTC wallets

The wallet is local and running on my linux box as is the website, I dont want to use blockchain.info or similar I want to connect to my wallet direct using my rpc username and password and i guess use the getinfo command to display the results on my website.

I have been looking at some open source projects for tips and code that perhaps I could adjust and use but I have to be honest and say im finding it hard.

Thanks for any help offered !

Have a look at this : https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/PHP_developer_intro

This will get you started, if you want I can help you further just drop me a PM.

He's not coming back.

I don't think it's that big a deal if he does have control of social media and britcoin.io,  we'll just start our own. I suppose he could start slating us through twitter and Facebook if he wanted to be a dick?

Ken can 'fork' off  Grin

Now we have the problem of who will take the helm?

Ok, well still no email, I may resend later. He could start slating the progress of the fork which will either put people off the coin or just confuse people to who the actual Britcoin team are.

lol - Does Ken hold a significant amount of britcoins ?

Clicked topic, thought this infographic will be interesting.....no image Smiley Where did you host it?

Same here. Such disappointment...

But quick google search and found this:

I reckon that's what OP meant to post.

Cheers Smiley

Edit: That infographic is awesome !!
1376  Economy / Gambling / Re: 18 BTC placed concludes: Craig Steven Wright is not Satoshi! on: December 11, 2015, 12:23:41 PM
We just like to announce that the story on Wired and Gimodo is most likely fabricated.  The market that Wright is Satoshi traded below 25% this morning.

You can find all details here, including a graph of all matched predictions over time:

https://www.fairlay.com/predict/registered/new/is-craig-steven-wright-satoshi-nakamoto/

Why do I guess the message below when trying to access your site, I am UK based?

" We are sorry but you cannot access Fairlay from your location.

I didn't sign anything, just a written agreement that he owns the domains and accounts etc.

You're right that no one can can truly "own" Britcoin since it's a open source p2p network, so I guess we could just fork and move forward with it I guess. Smiley

No reply off Ken as of yet, so a fork may be best. No-one can truly own a decentralised currency but controlling the main assets (i.e. The exact name domain, social media etc) can cause disruption.

Bitcoingg.com have published an amazing writeup on CoinFestUK, thanks guys!

A snippet:

"Another CoinFest event is set to take place and spread the Bitcoin influence further. This time around, the stage for the much-celebrated gathering of Bitcoin users, entrepreneurs, and game changers finds its way into the rich industrial heritage in the Northern Quarter of Manchester."
