Yesterday I completed the historical research for the first 3 months of Digitalcoin (May 2013, June 2013 and July 2013). As a rough draft, these three months in the book take up 26 pages (A5 book). It might be an interesting and original idea if you could put together a sort of temporary art collection for the event - with enough pieces you could fill up a room with interesting objects. Things like the original newspaper quoted in the blockchain, certificates, posters, magazines, paintings and sculptures. It would help give more bulk to the event and help showcase what's in the UK.
Do you mean cryptocurrency focused material, like a (copy of course) of the Last Bitcoin Supper and a copy of the Times Newspaper from 3 January 2009? If anyone can source this kind of stuff then that would be awesome, I have looked many times for a copy of the Times Newspaper from 3 January 2009 (For a reasonable price)! |

Maybe get a message over to the ethereum team and see if some of them could come along as seems one of the biggest coins to come out and vastly growing and taking over a lot of the alts going. Everything else regarding event looking good so far. Maybe in the future to get some bigger events and venues and maybe something aranged for the summer like SeasonalCoinFest for events to go on trips round the globe and actually have holidays and events and meetups getting the crypto community together and meeting new people and having a damn good time.

We are excited about the scratch cards we have had designed for CoinFestUK. We will have a range of them created for different cryptocurrency communities, each card has a unique QR with an encoded private key, the linked wallet has a random amount of coins in it.  ^ The scratch panel is imposed for now until printing (Just to give you an idea) The blue guy is a great touch from the OK community Anyone any feedback on them? |
