With our Alpha testing due to end at the end of February 2016 we want to increase our drive for feedback, so I would like to ask if anyone from the BCT community would like to test our system please drop me a PM.
I am looking for testers who can put in a bit of time to review our system and if you like you can provide public feedback (Post it here) or private feedback all of which we will use to help us develop of site. All feedback will be credited
I only have a limited amount of slots for alpha so may need to pick and choose whoever wants it.

Nice too see this happening at Madlab. Not sure what has happened to bitcoinmanchester that use to host their once a month. I know they had a get together in DEC for Christmas meet up but seems things slowing down and not many attending the meetings maybe needs more awareness. I will be sure to be calling down to the coin fest in April. Any times of when the meeting and get together will start from am maybe guessing early noon or round tea time when everyone home from work? Any rules on Vaping in MadLabs?
Hey, Crazyearner Thanks for the post. I've seen that Ash has posted so I'll leave that point, Thanks Ash. So the events will run all day from morning until 5/6 and the same times on the Saturday. I've asked Madlabs about vaping and they have said they have no strict policy against the use and will leave it up to me as the Organiser to decide (I have no opposition by the way) |

Don't forget you're not the only organizer, though, and that Manchester won't be the only CoinFest event... just the biggest, based on my current estimates. Looks like this hasn't picked up much traction, with only 10 days left and 94% of the goal reached.
It would be good to know that what would be done with the funds should the main goal not be reached, how will they move forward.

Hi crazyearner I'm one of the organisers of Bitcoin Manchester, maxsan is the other. (He has a profile on here, but like me, doesn't follow this forum any more.) You are right, we did have a meetup in December, here is our announcement. Jonny Bitcoin was talking about BitShares and we had cake  We put up some photos on our Meetup.com event (this is the first of our events we've used Meetup for). The biggest obstacle to regular meetups is organising speakers. We've had some good ones in the recent past, including Judith Aldridge of Manchester University talking about Silk Road and darknet markets, and Gulnar Hasnain of the Green Party talking about Bitcoin in politics. We are limited by the number of potential speakers in (or able to travel to) Manchester. What partly compounds the problem is that I am currently living in Poland, and Max is currently in Glasgow, which makes coming back to run events much more difficult, and unfortunately rules out us filling in when we have no speaker due to the time and cost involved. In short, we're doing the best we can given our constraints. If you have any ideas for sessions we could run (topics, speakers, etc), please let us know!
