Update: 30th Jan 2017: 12:40
The below transactions, have now been removed from BlockChain.info and these will be kept in our database and further associated claims will be linked to them and once they reach 10 claims the claims will be paid.

- 16 x BTC Claims, TX ID: 6465d754f3fd510b2bcf73869b7442a7e329b6207a84e26d59d339fffa1582b1 @ 2017-01-28 12:18:03
- 18 x BTC Claims, TX ID: 57cc2b51ed9141a29a68bca3283d424669f178bca2085220f1aa6b1defad4e85 @ 2017-01-29 01:30:35

(List of BTC addresses can be provided if required)

All the claims from the site launching are safe in our database!

Our 2017 event page is now live: Visit it here: https://coinfestuk.org/2017event.

Some activities and speakers still to confirm and the page will be updated as confirmation happens.
663  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Launched : CryptoGiveaways.org - Faucet - Claim BTC, OK, EMC2, OZC, GRN and DMD on: January 30, 2017, 09:23:52 AM
yup - would be feasible if that is the case ...

though would take longer to payout though wouldnt it? ...

#crysx

Yep! That's the issue (Well not exactly an issue but more an unwanted outcome of this issue arising!)

We have updated the site (front-end) to notify claimants of this - People are still submitting claims for BTC as we speak so all seems good.
664  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Launched : CryptoGiveaways.org - Faucet - Claim BTC, OK, EMC2, OZC, GRN and DMD on: January 30, 2017, 07:58:56 AM
great idea mate ...

but this 'dust factor' is going to continue due to the very small amounts being supplied via the btc daemon ...

what do you think would be a better workaround to this? ...

#crysx

Hey,

Us paying the claims as a bulk (Grouping the 10 claims together) will gives us room to be above the standard coded minimum relay fee and should hopefully resolve this issue.

We posted an update here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1713981.msg17663615#msg17663615 regarding our BTC claims  Grin Any feedback is welcome.

Snippet: Quick fix! Any BTC claims since launch and so fourth will be collected and stored in our DB with a counter - each time you claim with the same EMAIL and BTC address this will be added to our DB and after 10 claims we will issue the payment
666  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Launched : CryptoGiveaways.org - Faucet - Claim BTC, OK, EMC2, OZC, GRN and DMD on: January 29, 2017, 04:20:17 PM
Hey Guys,

Thanks for everyone's input!

Most of the activity is going to plan on the site but after the first batches of BTC claims were sent yesterday we have noticed that they still aren't confirmed. So it seems all altcoin claims are working fine but BTC processing isn't!

Updated - 21:11 29th Jan
Ok, we have got to the bottom of the issue and me not keeping up to date with the latest developments and a switch from a custom set up wallet (Due to a system crash!!) have caused this issue!

The claims sent yesterday were:
16 x BTC Claims, TX ID: 6465d754f3fd510b2bcf73869b7442a7e329b6207a84e26d59d339fffa1582b1 @ 2017-01-28 12:18:03
18 x BTC Claims, TX ID: 57cc2b51ed9141a29a68bca3283d424669f178bca2085220f1aa6b1defad4e85 @ 2017-01-29 01:30:35

These are deemed as below the standard dust limit and due to this they might not (Some miners do have a lower limit but most don't) be picked up by a miner (So most likely won't be confirmed and thus the claimant wont receive their claim).

So we are implementing a quick fix! Any BTC claims since launch and so fourth will be collected and stored in our DB with a counter - each time you claim with the same EMAIL and BTC address this will be added to our DB and after 10 claims we will issue the payment (This will bulk our payments together so they won't be classed a 'dust' and thus will be confirmed on the network!

We don't currently host Europecoin or Bitsend but if you would like them to be listed drop me a PM with their threads / website and I'll let you know the requirements.

batesresearch

I have received letters from the "Claim Details"
but I did not get GiveAways Sad
when you click on "Check Status" your site requires a user name and password
what does it mean?

Hey bud,

When did you claim? During BETA payments will be sent within a 24hr Window and BTC payments will be bulked to reduce fees

I'll work now to remove the authentication from the "Check Status" link

I realized 24 hours and all that Smiley
24 hours apply to all the coins?

For now yes. We sent the first batch out within a matter of hours but 24Hrs max.

I'm really waiting for this site to be launched, and finally today is the day. Hooorraaay! Congrats @batesresearch. I visited your site and ofcourse tried it. It looks and works good even in mobile, I like its responsiveness (though the logo becomes small). I tried claiming BTC, and it went through smoothly I guess because it mentioned success but I haven't received a confirmation email yet. I'll just wait and see

jhenfelipe - Thanks! We took authentication off the site last night so anyone could visit it - We didn't announce it but I thought we would wake up to some claims  Grin - Nothing has been announced yet (Via Social media etc - I was waiting for the funds from one of the Devs)

Did you receive your email? Seems we have a delay on them being sent out

We are having issues with BTC claims being sent via the wallet but I am working on that. It seems all the testing in the world works ---> site goes live ----> things don't work!. We did give ourselves a 24Hr window to send claims so time to work on it.
