hilarious  Cheesy

"Black Republican pastor running for Congress just dropped an ad where he fights the KKK with an AR-15.
HOLY SMOKES"

Enjoyed.

Same.

What world do we live in.  SO many tables have turned in SO many directions... I just don't know any more.

White, crazed Antifa instead of hooded Dems would have been more apropos.

Yeah, Crypto used to be short for Cryptography, or Cryptographic, or codes and ciphers.

Now it is short for 'ponzi scam'

Someone got burnt lol

Wha? Never invested in any of those shitcoins or ponzis, and never will.

Instead of 30% of Dutch farms disappearing I sincerely hope the Dutch farmers are able to reduce 100% of the Dutch parasite asshole fucked up politicians.
Good luck.

Evidence of what is going on with evil WEF inspired plans (Dutch article):

Farm that had to close because of emissions and land was sold to local council.
Local council: Let's put an immigration import centre there:
https://www.telegraaf.nl/nieuws/522126856/nieuw-aanmeldcentrum-asielzoekers-in-bant
(Geographically nowhere near any borders btw).

Evidence of police firing live rounds at protesting farmers. Apparently a 16 year old nearly got shot.

BUT if you glue yourself to a multi million dollar painting or on the motorway and severely damage the economy in support of George Soros' funded cLiMaTe ChAnGe protests it's fine according to the government.

Fuck these WEF people.

Take a look at the mass shootings they hardly happen with a handgun.
But yes handguns are the major source of homicide indeed...

Again, do some research, please. Don't just keep making shit up.

Is now the time to tell Wilhelm that the majority of U.S. fire arm homicides are from handguns? Or...?

https://money.cnn.com/interactive/news/handgun-homicides/

Any reason for a 30-60 capacity mag for self defense? Unless you are John Rambo ofcourse...

30 is a standard capacity mag for many sporting rifles. So we see already that the definition of "high capacity" is weaselly too.

And outlawing them wouldn't do shit anyway. Anyone can easily 3d print high cap mags nowdays. Easily.

Common sense gun laws aren't authoritarian restrictions.
Common sense gun laws should be viewed the same as a drivers license or medical license...

Any time I see "Common sense" I can just interpret it as a euphemism for "Laws I want but you don't" and ignore the rest. Be specific.

Let's name a few

- restrict the insane from buying
- restrict criminals from buying
- proper storage of weapons in the home
- gun registration
- no open or concealed carry for assault rifles
- ban on high capacity magazines
- ban on full-auto firing
Etc.
Etc.

Well, it's not your country, so therefore none of your business.

True. Good luck with the thoughts and prayers ...

Good luck with your coming food shortages and eventual famine because "save the planet"...

Nah, when the Netherlands govt comes to take away the farmers' lands, the disarmed farmers can just spray them with more cow manure.

Hope they don't run out of manure though. That would suck.   Undecided   Cry

PS Also, you guys noticing we have really really entered that weird point in a bitcoin cycle where all these weird noobs and unknowns start showing up out of the woodwork?  Certainly some are future WO members in good standing.  But there are so many... seems like this happens every time.

Oh, you noticed that too?

It's not by accident.

The one thing that's changed tho, is they have a new angle.

Coming in here as a complete bear troll and spouting fear maybe worked in the early years, but they now realize that too many staunch bulls hang out here.

So they pose as bull maxis now: "A wolf in sheep's clothing."   Wink

Many years ago, my doctor told me my cholesterol was slightly elevated (I don't remember the exact numbers but it was 0.1 over the top number in the range) and signed me up for a course on how to eat.  When I saw the list of foods I should avoid, I told the nurse I would rather be euthanized than to live without coffee, eggs, cheese, cream, butter and meat.  Back then, euthanasia wasn't an option so I took the sheet home and never looked at it again figuring I would die from the effects of cholesterol eventually.

The biggest irony is that it is a complete myth (lie) that high cholesterol is caused by any of those things on that list.

The myth is perpetuated by garbage studies, paid for by the corrupt health associations, that don't do proper controls. The survey subjects that they find that have high cholesterol primarily eat diets high in sugars, carbohydrates, processed foods, and processed seed oils... and also so happen to eat eggs, cheese, cream, butter, and meat. So those studies falsely associate the latter foods with high cholesterol. (As a side note, these high cholesterol subjects also show highly elevated levels of triglycerides, which are typically associated with chronic consumption of large amounts of alcohol as well. Interesting, right?)

They NEVER do a controlled study on people who have diets primary of the latter (meat, cheese, diary, eggs, butter) but not the former (sugar, carbs, processed foods, seed oils). This is by design. They actually WANT that misassociation so they can then sell it to the public.

You want to reduce your cholesterol? Stop eating sugar, carbs, and junk that's not real food. Keep the meat, cheese, whole milk, eggs, butter. Eat clean, healthy vegetables. Cook with ghee, real butter, and/or a high quality olive oil. Stay away from seed oils.

I would also say, stay away from alcohol. It's basically high-test liquid sugar but with worse effects on the endocrine system, internal organs, liver, etc. But I know very few will do that, lol.

OT: As a follow-up to this conversation, check out this study:

"The speed-limiting systems use GPS, sat-nav and cameras to identify the legal limit and will warn drivers to slow down - and if they don't the car can restrict engine power"

Fuck this

More nanny-state government overreach.

another one, another one...bites the dust.
dropping like flies...hopefully, we are close the end than to a beginning with those entities.

Michael Saylor keeps stressing the importance of backtesting the collateral against the loans like Microstrategy did.

Did all these fly-by-night VC-funded crypto shitcoin derivative companies not backtest anything?

Are they all fucking stupid, or what?

Like, "Hey let's go over-leverage loans against all of our bitcoin collateral we bought at $40K-50K/btc. What could possibly go wrong?"  Roll Eyes

It's no wonder no one should trust them with anything.

Personally, I think all these shitty crypto companies were set up to cause a crash. Because they always magically show up during bull runs, only to get margin called, liquidate and go bankrupt literally every single bear market. They are designed to distract Average Joe away from bitcoin and steal noobs money. Just like the ICOs did.

Btw - I'm curious what is the news. Or just mannered shorts liquidation?

3AC blowing their margin call, and BlockFi firesale @ $25M
What are they?

Shitcoin derivative scam markets...nothing to see here...move along, move along.

Bitcoin is not like stonks where they can just low key issue (*print*) moar shares.

The only way for the establishment to get more btc short term, is to shake the tree. Otherwise they have to wait a long time for miners to mine more.

Running up a bitcoin bubble and then crashing it is a very good way (so they think) to shake the tree.

It also serves to change sentiment, i.e. they will be buying the bottom like crazy while fear keeps Joe public out of the market.

Who does the public think was selling bitcoin to them for between $30k-60k all last year? The same whales that were buying the bottom in 2018-2020 between $3k-$10k, that's who.

So I'm hearing rumblings in the MSM of a final crypto "washout" coming supposedly this holiday weekend.

Washout being obvious code for "Poorly coordinated bear raid."

Should be amusing if it happens. Perhaps another good buying opportunity.

I wouldn’t call it “just fine”.  A few years ago, posting in WO became quite slow and unreliable.  It was a forum-wide problem, but much worse in WO:  Mildly noticeable elsewhere if you paid close attention, whereas WO became almost unusable sometimes.  I heard that theymos then changed something with the database setup; I don’t know what, but the problem seemed to go away.

How the fk would you know? Your account literally originated May of this year.

Unless this is just another sock puppet to one of your other accounts.

Are you really that dumb, or are you just trolling me again?

Anyway, “how would I know” is none of your business. Cool

I knew you would slip up eventually.

Fake troll is fake.

OK.  In the wake of Crypto Twatters recent hysterical seizures...

-Bitcoin DOES NOT CARE about:
--Nic Carter
--Michael Saylor
--ANY OTHER "influencer" or personality.
-Bitcoin does not care if you own alt coins.
-Bitcoin does not care what country you are in.
-Bitcoin does not care what language you speak.
-So it does not care if you call it a "store of value", or "digital gold" or a "ponzi scheme". It doesn't even know what those are.
-Bitcoin does not care if you call it a medium of exchange or not.  Or if you use it as one.
-It does not care if you like lightning, or hate it.

I could go on for pages... but you can too.

I will say I have ALWAYS found the childish gatekeeping purity test shit to be EXTREMELY ANNOYING.  Yes... we have a rule here.  This thread is about Bitcoin.  Most of us here are fairly to one side of the "maxi" continuum.

I do not really care that much about Nic Carter.  He is obviously a brilliant mind, and someone who has made a shit ton of money investing in things... calls himself a "VC" now.  Almost certainly has some Patagonia gear.

Bitcoin does not care.  And *I* care even less.

If I start hearing the hoards of Bitcoiners wailing about "slaying your heros" etc... well I suppose I should stay away from twitter for a while.  It will annoy me especially while other people who essentially do the same thing as Nic wag their fingers at him.  Samson, for example.  Someone who launched an ERC20 token.  But likes to masquerade as  a Maxi.

I don't care about that either (and I am certain Bitcoin doesn't! Smiley )

I think part of this is I have just been on this earth long enough to see how childish all this is... The Bitcoin "community" really needs to grow up.

And it will...  In time.  And at the same time there will always be fools (like me) wailing about whatever hurt their feelings.

And Bitcoin does not care.

Oh look!  Block 742858 is going to show up any second!  Or should I say, any 10 minute?

An asset that's worth its salt can have "influencers", hodlers, diamond hands, paper hands, supporters, detractors, haters, etc. at any point throughout a thousand years (or in the case of PMs, many thousands). They will come and go, live and die.

Do you think that asset cares what the fk any of them think or do? Holding an asset is neither a flex, a fashion show, nor a popularity contest.

Bitcoin will outlive us all.

(And now I feel like an idiot personifying an inanimate digital network)
