Doge taking BTC down with it and ETH only mildly affected. Not a good look, when a shitcoin can bring down the gold standard in the space.
Ok, a little education time. Shitcoin indexes are tied to Bitcoin, and thus shitcoin bot trading will move up and down with BTC price. If whales want to dump shitcoins and really move those markets, they will also dump some BTC at the same time. When btc dumps, shitcoins dump more. And that's exactly what they did. Who didn't see the big Doge dump coming on Elon's big night on SNL? I knew that's what the whales were gunning for over a week ago.  So no, the doge shitcoin did not "bring down Bitcoin". Btc was dumped on purpose. |

You can say all you want about alts, but the thing is, they are worth billions now.
The exact same thing can be said about the penny stock market, worth billions. And many of them can rally 100x or 1000x in the blink of an eye. And many of them routinely do, it's just that the public doesn't see the pump and dumps because the pink sheets are nicely tucked away in the garbage corner of the internet. Out of sight, out of mind. So "being worth billions" can still mean nothing in the grand scheme of things...it doesn't legitimize anything. |

Sick of seeing BCH rise, want to see it pummeled into the ground. Mind you it's still only 2.5% of BTC price and they're celebrating like the flippening is at any moment haha
I’m sick of seeing utter shitcoins pumping. I checked one of my exchange accounts this morning & I see 1INCH pumping 25%, ETC is up about 200% in the last month, DOGE is out of control, EOS up 25%, ADA up 22%. I mean what the hell is 1INCH. WTF is this nonsense? I’ll admit, it’s beginning to piss me off. You were alive during all of 2017, yes? Same whale playbook, different year. |

OT: So out of all the Amazon packages I've ordered all last year and this year, I'd say at least 1 in 5 has either had some multi-day delay. In some cases a week longer. A few have been lost completely in the mail somewhere.
Remember that one time, all through 2016-2019, when Jeff Bezos was out there promising that his company could achieve 24 hour delivery? Even 1 hour delivery?
That Amazon would create a Pharmacy division and deliver critical medications within 24 hours?

What's still bizarre and unfair about the "crypto" market, is that Bitcoin is still roped in with all the shitcoins.
The stock market does not rope in large/medium cap stonks with pink sheet "penny stonks" in any way. And by and large, the Average Joe public knows the difference.
I guess it's going to take another decade or two for Bitcoin to disassociate with the "shitcoin crypto market".

I find it very hard to believe someone holds 52 billion dollar on some bank account to counter this value. #7: Cardano. I know nothing about this so this is where I stop. Why are people giving up their trustless Bitcoin for centrally controlled coins that are solely created to make the creator rich? take Doge off the list and I would agree with you. understand doge for what it is: well backed by asics and 10x the blocks which means 10x the transactions each day are possible. the other coins are garbage. Does this mean buy doge no. But it does not belong on the list you made. Just because you like to keep reminding people that you make actual money from Doge mining and trading, doesn't mean it's not a shitcoin. Because it is. It is a joke meme shitcoin. My apologies for not scanning back to see if this has been touched on already. Too busy with other projects to spend much time here catching up with 3 million pages...., anyway my 2 cents... So I actually I've always been on on board with a lot of Bill Maher positions and especially his religion views. In 2000 if you had taken your life savings and kept it in $USD fiat, you would now have lost ~37% of your purchasing power. https://www.in2013dollars.com/us/inflation/2000?amount=1So if you had $1M of paper money in 2000, it would today only buy $630,000 worth of goods. Ironically if instead of dollars you had put it all into $1M of pre-1983 pennies, you would now be up 6.78X your money. So if in 2000 you had instead dumped $1M into pure copper pennies (or bars), you would now have $6.78M, and roughly ~$4.27M worth of purchasing power. Even fkn lowly copper has trounced fiat. |
