lol there Musk goes again trying to pump the dog coin, I don't think it's been a huge impact so far.

Buys $1.5B of Bitcoin.

Verbally pumps Doge shitcoin, but doesn't buy it.

Love how the pleebs fall for this scam-straction.  Roll Eyes
1262  Economy / Speculation / Re: Elon Musk is a Wall Observer on: May 09, 2021, 05:04:23 PM
Musk showing the WO sign on SNL:

"Ostertag" means Easter Day in German...not sure what the relevance is there.

You mean the WP hand signal? Lol

Funny though, I'm not seeing the same outcry from the cancel culture libtards for Elon to immediately issue an apology.

Rich billionaires get a pass, I guess. They just love him and their favorite shitcoin oh so much. Wink
1263  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: May 09, 2021, 01:25:33 PM
Doge taking BTC down with it and ETH only mildly affected. Not a good look, when a shitcoin can bring down the gold standard in the space.

Ok, a little education time.

Shitcoin indexes are tied to Bitcoin, and thus shitcoin bot trading will move up and down with BTC price.

If whales want to dump shitcoins and really move those markets, they will also dump some BTC at the same time. When btc dumps, shitcoins dump more.

And that's exactly what they did.

Who didn't see the big Doge dump coming on Elon's big night on SNL? I knew that's what the whales were gunning for over a week ago.  Roll Eyes

So no, the doge shitcoin did not "bring down Bitcoin". Btc was dumped on purpose.
1264  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: May 08, 2021, 02:21:37 PM
So to all I will post here and I will post what I please.

deal with it.

but i do not say buy shit coins.

go back and read what I post.

No, but you do say shit like "Doge should not be on the shitcoin list" and "Doge is for the people and will be used for daily transactions, to buy coffees etc."

No it fkn won't. Stop saying that shit. It's a worthless, joke meme, PnD shitcoin and that's all it will ever be. The masses will NEVER use it as a daily currency. Not in a gazillion years.

So I take it that Yobit is the new Crypsy? Lol

You can say all you want about alts, but the thing is, they are worth billions now.

The exact same thing can be said about the penny stock market, worth billions. And many of them can rally 100x or 1000x in the blink of an eye. And many of them routinely do, it's just that the public doesn't see the pump and dumps because the pink sheets are nicely tucked away in the garbage corner of the internet. Out of sight, out of mind.

So "being worth billions" can still mean nothing in the grand scheme of things...it doesn't legitimize anything.

Sick of seeing BCH rise, want to see it pummeled into the ground. Mind you it's still only 2.5% of BTC price and they're celebrating like the flippening is at any moment haha

I’m sick of seeing utter shitcoins pumping. I checked one of my exchange accounts this morning & I see 1INCH pumping 25%, ETC is up about 200% in the last month, DOGE is out of control, EOS up 25%, ADA up 22%.

I mean what the hell is 1INCH.

WTF is this nonsense?

I’ll admit, it’s beginning to piss me off.

You were alive during all of 2017, yes?

Same whale playbook, different year.

"Don't chase the market"

"Losses are rarely mentioned"
"Gains are boasted often"
"Learn to differentiate between luck and skill"

"If you're not the predator, you're probably the prey"

something like this, uh?

Crypto Market: "The market can stay irrational longer that you can wait for it to turn rational again."

OT: So out of all the Amazon packages I've ordered all last year and this year, I'd say at least 1 in 5 has either had some multi-day delay. In some cases a week longer. A few have been lost completely in the mail somewhere.

Remember that one time, all through 2016-2019, when Jeff Bezos was out there promising that his company could achieve 24 hour delivery? Even 1 hour delivery?

That Amazon would create a Pharmacy division and deliver critical medications within 24 hours?

Haha haha hahahahaaha!!!! What a joke!

Suck it, Jeff Bezos you fkn narcissist! You get an F.

Gotta love those crazy CEOs with their lofty, ivory tower, pie-in-the-sky dreams that'll never happen.
1270  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: May 04, 2021, 02:43:28 PM
What's still bizarre and unfair about the "crypto" market, is that Bitcoin is still roped in with all the shitcoins.

The stock market does not rope in large/medium cap stonks with pink sheet "penny stonks" in any way. And by and large, the Average Joe public knows the difference.

I guess it's going to take another decade or two for Bitcoin to disassociate with the "shitcoin crypto market".
1271  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: May 04, 2021, 01:46:34 PM
Yeah, the new crop of mETH heads are gonna shit their pants when ETH returns to below $1000 at some point.

Which it absolutely will.

"I'd rather put my eggs in ONE basket that I fully control, than in TEN baskets that others control."
I was just looking at CoinMarketCap:
#1: Bitcoin! But it's losing market share, so I wondered what's taking the market share. Turns out, most of them are centralized:
#2: Centrally controlled Hardforkcoin Ethereum.
#3: Centrally controlled Binance Coin.
#4: Centrally controlled Ripple.
#5: Not centrally controlled Dogecoin (but originally started as a meme troll).
#6: Centrally controlled and probably not backed stablecoin Tether. I find it very hard to believe someone holds 52 billion dollar on some bank account to counter this value.
#7: Cardano. I know nothing about this so this is where I stop.

Why are people giving up their trustless Bitcoin for centrally controlled coins that are solely created to make the creator rich?

take Doge off the list and I would agree with you.

understand doge for what it is:

well backed by asics
and 10x the blocks which means 10x the transactions each day are possible.

the other coins are garbage.

Does this mean buy doge no.  But it does not belong on the list you made.

Just because you like to keep reminding people that you make actual money from Doge mining and trading, doesn't mean it's not a shitcoin.

Because it is. It is a joke meme shitcoin.

Doesn't matter that it's "well backed by asics". So is Litecoin, which is another shitcoin. They're all shitcoins except BTC.
1273  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: May 04, 2021, 02:36:52 AM
Bitcoin is a stable coin now oscillating between $55k and $58k for last three weeks.

Good. It'll shake out all the "get-rich-quick" newbs that expect a +$10k pump per month, or else.

They can all go die in shitcoinlandia.

OT: Bill and Melinda Gates divorce after 27 years of marriage, saying "we no longer believe we can grow together as a couple". "After a great deal of thought and a lot of work on our relationship, we have made the decision to end our marriage," the pair wrote on Twitter.

https://www.bbc.com/news/world-us-canada-56975466

Wow...I never knew that after nearly three decades with someone that is supposedly your soulmate for life, that you still have to desperately find "a way to grow together" or its divorce-ville.

Thanks for clarifying real marriage there, Bill.  Roll Eyes

(These fkn celebrity marriages...I swear)

Go, go, go shitcoins go!

Look at that shit skyrocket, man. It's like a plume of shit!

Glorious.  /s

My apologies for not scanning back to see if this has been touched on already.
Too busy with other projects to spend much time here catching up with 3 million pages...., anyway my 2 cents...

So I actually I've always been on on board with a lot of Bill Maher positions and especially his religion views.
However after watching his latest rant on crypto (yeah sorry jay I said crypto, because reasons, don't have a hissy)
His jokes about it sound so cliché, he's obviously a no coiner and only listens to other no coiners and doesn't have a fucking clue in this area except what you read in msm.
Bill, love your humor on other subjects dude, but on this particular subject you sound like a clueless boomer stuck in the nineties.
Don't rant about something you know nothing about.
You just lost my respect....
And I'm a boomer.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HaJpYjO136o

Yeah he really lost me (and everyone else) at "I fully understand that our financial system isn't perfect, but at least it's real."

Oh Bill, you have no fkn clue, still at the delusional Mt. Stupid level of understanding if you really think that it is real. Yeah like a corrupt Ponzi shell game is real.

Just take another blue pill, and go back to smoking weed and believing that your viewers still think you are funny.

OT: So this is just how fucked up inflation has gotten.

In 2000 if you had taken your life savings and kept it in $USD fiat, you would now have lost ~37% of your purchasing power.
https://www.in2013dollars.com/us/inflation/2000?amount=1

So if you had $1M of paper money in 2000, it would today only buy $630,000 worth of goods.

Ironically if instead of dollars you had put it all into $1M of pre-1983 pennies, you would now be up 6.78X your money.

So if in 2000 you had instead dumped $1M into pure copper pennies (or bars), you would now have $6.78M, and roughly ~$4.27M worth of purchasing power.

Even fkn lowly copper has trounced fiat.

This hasn't been posted for a while, looks like we are gaining immortality Smiley

I love how they have added the little price chart into it.

This little video clip explains shitcoins perfectly.

https://i.imgur.com/4ANvLEV.mp4

The whales are pump and dumping shitcoins, and using the profits to quietly acquire more bitcoin.

We are fully in the accumulation phase now, so btc could go sidewides for quite a long while. Many months even.

The accumulators know what is coming down the pipe.

Charlie Munger calls bitcoin ‘disgusting and contrary to the interests of civilization’
https://www.cnbc.com/2021/05/01/charlie-munger-calls-bitcoin-disgusting-and-contrary-to-the-interests-of-civilization.html

Quote
“Of course I hate the bitcoin success,” the 97-year-old Munger said during a Q&A session at Berkshire’s annual shareholder meeting Saturday. “I don’t welcome a currency that’s so useful to kidnappers and extortionists and so forth, nor do I like just shuffling out of your extra billions of billions of dollars to somebody who just invented a new financial product out of thin air.”

“I think I should say modestly that the whole damn development is disgusting and contrary to the interests of civilization,” said Munger, a legendary investor in his own right.

Can this corrupt, belligerent, impotent old man just fk off and die already?
