+14, Congratulation. You are also Full Member.

Those you are upgraded to the next rank, I will advise them to contribute to the forum. So you may help each other and build an active forum. I received a couple of DMs a few days ago to review their posts and help rank up. I strongly discourage doing such DMs. When I have enough sendable merits and free time, I occasionally visit this thread to help people. I will continue to do so.

363  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I used a mixer and then got banned from exchange. Now what? on: January 09, 2024, 08:47:17 PM
They probably track the transaction by source of funds. I am not sure how they detect the mixers or how many transactions they track. So better avoid any connections with mixers and exchanges that don't allow you to use a mixer. Otherwise, even if you move other exchanges, you won't be safe. Always try to get fresh coins into exchanges where mixers aren't allowed. I advise you not to take a risk; they might block your account with large funds.
364  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Help me understand sending transactions privately between my own wallets on: January 09, 2024, 08:27:22 PM

Nothing compromised at least to my knowledge. Just wanted to get an idea for best practices as it’s a larger amount that needs to be sent over. So am I better off using a tor proxy over vpn service? Even if said vpn service doesn’t log any details?

I definitely plan to set up my own node in the not too distant future.
What do you want to exactly protect? Is it your own location, or do you want to break the transaction between your two wallets? If it's only about location, then Tor or VPN would help, and make sure you use a premium VPN service. But everyone who knows your old address will know where the fund ended up. Tor or VPN won't protect your privacy if someone else knows the address of your sender's wallet.
365  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Happy Birthday Bitcoin. Its been 15 year mined first Block. 🎂 on: January 09, 2024, 08:12:42 PM
The first Bitcoin block was mined on January 9, 2009, at 08:54:25. So today, 15 years ago, we got Bitcoin that was first mined. Out of curiosity, I had been checking Block 1 and surprisingly saw that it was mined this day. So quite excited and expressing the celebrations. I know the discovery process was long, but the final stage was today. Today, the world got a new currency that has changed the world's financial system. I don't know how to thank the mastermind behind this Bitcoin concept, Satoshi Nakamoto, but salute. 🙋‍♂️
366  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Help me understand sending transactions privately between my own wallets on: January 09, 2024, 07:40:35 PM
Whatever you use to make transactions doesn't matter; all the transactions will be visible on the blockchain when a transaction is broadcast. If you want to protect your privacy, you have to use some other services to break the transaction. Likey VPN helps to protect you by hiding your location, but transactions will always be visible on the chain. You may break transactions in many ways, like by exchanging Bitcoin for something else, then again exchanging for Bitcoin and directly transferring to your wallet. You may use p2p or decentralised exchange. This way will charge you handsome amount. Mixers have a lot of issues now, and I advise you to avoid them.
367  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will any other coins like Bitcoin be discovery in the future? on: January 09, 2024, 07:32:30 PM
If you are talking about cryptocurrency, then I don't think any other coins would replace Bitcoin. Because after discovering Bitcoin, anyone hasn't discovered any coins using cryptography that would overpass Bitcoin anyway. All others just play a role in making money through trading and holdings. But out of cryptography, there would be something in the near future that would surpass Bitcoin. There would be more advanced technologies than cryptography. We don't know when, but people always love to discover something new. Developers always try to upgrade and onboard advanced technologies. So we will not be surprised if we see a new discovery. They would add something new to existing cryptography that would make the use of decentralised currencies more reliable.
368  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Which wallet can i use for my needs on: January 08, 2024, 10:37:04 PM
For best practice, I will advise using a hardware wallet. Of course, it depends on how much you want to store, because a hardware wallet will cost you a bit to buy. If you can afford it, I would prefer to use the Trezor wallet, which is open source. You will find altcoins as well. If you can't afford it, then use Electrum for your Bitcoin wallet. For altcoins, I am not sure about a non-custodial wallet; you may get advice from the above replies. However, hardware wallets are always the best option.
369  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: RedotPay Crypto Virtual Card & Pysical card. on: January 08, 2024, 09:26:03 PM
It's to inform you that I used their card today to pay supermarket bills using their NFC-supported virtual card. I had added their virtual card to the iPhone wallet, and it seems everything went smoothly. That means their card has been working as promised. I believe I can withdraw from ATMs where NFC-supported ATM machines are available. This is a really exciting experience for me using direct crypto in a real supermarket. I am not sure how long their service will last, so I don't make big deposits there. I just make deposits that I need to use in real time. So I feel it's less risky, though there is still risk. So do your own diligence if you want to use their card.
370  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Is there a trusted service to send remittances by crypto or debit card? on: January 08, 2024, 09:11:02 PM
This sounds more like a tax issue rather than a remittance issue to me.
(If you can't find a solution with remittance companies maybe you can also try talking to a tax accountant?)
I stated about tax also. Crypto isn't legal in my jurisdiction, so creating an invoice for a crypto payment doesn't make sense. If I sell it p2p, then I can't show my income source. So the only way to show remittance is by fiat, and we can show income sources as freelancers. I filled out my tax return for this year, and that I have received remittances through Fiat in the bank. And the tax authority does not ask questions. I have used Pyppl this year to cash in my crypto through remittance. But I can't trust them due to their worst support system. So I am looking for some other services to bring fiat by converting my crypto through the banking system.
371  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Power Of Bitcoin on: January 06, 2024, 10:04:50 PM
Be positive, and don't regret the past. We can't change the past anyway, and that would make us upset. It's normal that at the beginning we didn't understand Bitcoin fully, so we ignored it. I am pretty sure it didn't happen with you alone; rather, it does happen with many investors. I will advise that when you realise the potential of Bitcoin, don't be late. Watch the Bitcoin chart closely and try to buy on a dip. But don't expect too much dip; I mean only when you see a reasonable buy point in the current situation. Then just hold it. I feel the DCA strategy would be better right now.
372  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is the high fee affecting the rate of adoption of Bitcoin? on: January 06, 2024, 09:56:50 PM
Another example of how Bitcoin transaction fees are affecting adoption is signature campaign payments. One of the reputed campaign managers was also concerned about it. If transaction fees are lower, it takes more than a week to get confirmation on the blockchain. Participants are working the whole week, and payment is going to be delayed only for transaction fees. So if that continues, it is likely managers will choose alternative payment methods. However, though it's not a big deal, we can use it as an example of how transaction fees affect Bitcoin adoption.
373  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: CoinMarketCap CMC listing problem on: January 06, 2024, 09:37:09 PM
The OP seems to have disappeared after making the post. It's kind of a joke that you want to know something, then disappear while other forum members are engaged in discussion. I am curious, then, why you made the post. If your problem has been solved, at least you may update and lock the thread. You may share some more information that would be helpful for others or that would help solve your problems. This kind of behaviour isn't appreciated here on the forum.
374  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Is there a trusted service to send remittances by crypto or debit card? on: January 06, 2024, 09:15:29 PM
wise.com is one of the most reputable remittance services and they do take debit card.
Also I'm pretty sure western union also accepts debit cards to send remittances.
These two are generally the most popular ones.

Not sure if these are worth it though. It highly depends on your country. You should ask some locals for their experiences too.
Sadly, Wise isn't accepting new users from my jurisdiction, and I hadn't signed up previously. So wise won't help right now. I am not sure about Western Union yet. I haven't used them and don't know if there are any legal restrictions. I am not worried about cashouts, and I do it through P2P deals. But I can't show it as an income. So as a freelancer, I can bring money from abroad as a remittance. That's the reason why I am looking for an alternative to Pyypl.
375  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is the high fee affecting the rate of adoption of Bitcoin? on: January 05, 2024, 09:51:47 PM
Due to higher transaction fees, Bitcoin will be ignored as a payment method. Bitcoin was popular to make payments where crypto was accepted and users didn't want to use their cards. Even I am disappointed to have made payments through Bitcoin lately. So those merchants accepting Bitcoin as a payment method will lose their Bitcoin customers. That's why businesses will ignore Bitcoin as a payment method.
376  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if Bitcoin ETF is not Approved on: January 05, 2024, 09:41:38 PM
It will exist the same way when there is no Bitcoin ETF. It's true that Bitcoin ETF rumours push the Bitcoin price a bit, and in the event of ETF rejections, we may see a large number of sell-offs. This means the bitcoin price would significantly drop. It's because the pump was due for ETF approval, and the dump will be for ETF rejection. The rest will remain the same, and we can see a real bull market after the halving, even if all the ETF applications get rejected. Bitcoin is a highly volatile cryptocurrency, and I believe it will exist same way.
377  Economy / Service Discussion / Is there a trusted service to send remittances by crypto or debit card? on: January 05, 2024, 08:04:29 PM
Recently, our government has been quite strict about taxes. It wasn't a problem if the cryptocurrency was legal here. But unfortunately, our government stands strongly against cryptocurrency, and we can't use anything related to it here. In this situation, we may not show our income through cryptocurrency, either from marketing services or trading. We can spend whatever we can by selling crypto p2p. But when we need to do something where government institutions should be involved, we must have tax return certificates and wealth clearance. So the only way to show legal income is through remittance. So the government doesn't ask for taxes, and there is not much question about earnings since they are coming from abroad.

Currently, I am using Pyppl, but it doesn't have the option to send from a debit card. We have to make a deposit in crypto or buy fiat through p2p. Also, exchange rates aren't very good. Their support is terrible at all. So do you know of any other services that are trusted and could send crypto as a remittance through bank? I know it depends on jurisdiction, but I am not comfortable sharing the jurisdiction due to government harassment.
378  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: How much do signature campaigns work? on: January 05, 2024, 07:50:37 PM
The signature campaign works pretty simply: you advertise something through your signature space, and they are paying you rewards for that. When a signature campaign launches, they add how much reward will be distributed per rank, per post, or per week. All the terms of the campaign should be attached to the campaign post. You are applying there, which means you accept their terms. So the company or the campaign managers pick participants as per their standards. That's actually how signature campaigns work.
379  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is www.crypto-comx.com legit? on: January 04, 2024, 09:16:03 PM
It's quite surprising that the OP hasn't noticed the fake clone site of crypto dot com. They even haven't changed their name or logo. So at first sight, it should be detected as a scam site. I suspect you may promote this site based on allegations. I may be wrong, but I am disappointed with you. How did you miss the site and what they wrote in the domain and title? The domain name itself looks scammy; when you enter the site, you should clearly know it is a scam. The site name and domain name are totally different. The scammer is likely more stupid than you. They even can't spoof the site and domain perfectly.
