361  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Donald Trump signs executive orders banning TikTok and WeChat on: August 11, 2020, 12:18:19 PM
USA and China don't have good relationship for a long time now and this is not a surprise. However, it seems that Trump has its own funny way to.solve problems and this will only make harm to US and to its own IT and communivations industry, not to China, so I don't see the point.
362  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Coinbase CEO Says Bitcoin and Cryptocurrency Must Evolve to Reach Mass Adoption on: August 10, 2020, 07:35:39 PM
I don't know, it's hard to say if cryptocurrencies will evolve to the phase of real mass adoption. That would mean that it should be used all around the world, in a range as mainstream currencies and having in mind current very low level of adoption and how small number of people is actually familiar with crypto that doesn't see very much likely. However, we can't know what future brings and how this will develope although certain progress will be made.

364  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Las Vegas Casinos Scared of Lawsuits on: August 10, 2020, 04:58:36 PM
The US court system is a joke. The casinos are not forcing anyone to do gambling. Whomever goes there, is going on his/her own free will. At this point, how can they claim that the casinos are responsible for the infection (in case they get infected)? Hard-working businesses are at the receiving end of this and a perfect example is the case of the Portland bakers (who were forced to close down their business). In case of the casinos, they are mostly owned by the billionaires and have quality legal support available. But still, this is not the way to go.

That is all true but on the other hand we also go to shops, cinemas or beauty salons by our own free will, no one is forcing us. However, all of them need to ensure all available measures to protect people's health. I agree there is no ground for lawsuit unless people who get infected can prove that they got infected in exactly defined casino that hasn't respected all prescribed measures. And that is not very likely to happen.
365  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC Current Bullish & Bearish scenario on: August 10, 2020, 01:17:02 PM
The main resistance now seems to be $11.8k as we have breach it already but can't sustain it obviously. The good thing is that the price doesn't decline that much and its simply staying in the $11.5-$11.7 range. But still this is bullish sign, and buying when the price goes down a bit and shorting it could be a good strategy.

We don't have some strong corrections, although price is fluctuating all the time. In one moment it even crossed 12000$ not again pulled back below. This is still not pure bullish situation and to my opinion this will continue for a while, at this moment I wouldn't say Bitcoin is in bullish phase.
366  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: SEC looking for more tools to track crypto on: August 10, 2020, 10:32:36 AM
This is the logical step, if we like it or not. Cryptocurrencies develope all the time becoming more and more accepted and governments have the need to keep that under control. That doesn't necessary have to be wrong as long as doesn't supress the freedom but is aimed against misuse and illegal activities, then it's for the benefit of all users. However, let's wait and see how successful this is going to be.
367  Economy / Economics / Re: This is a total nightmare on: August 09, 2020, 07:22:06 PM
A big plus of agriculture is that you can feed yourself and your family with quality products. And if you will do everything right and you have enough capital, then you can also sell what you have grown. I think you also will have time for your design services.

This is the one of advantages and the second one came on surface during this pandemic. Many countries closed their borders and import was difficult, also for agriculture products and people turned tp domestic products, for which they know how are where were grown. This is the advantage.that every agriculture producer should use.
368  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: You have to prove that you can take the loss on: August 09, 2020, 12:37:20 PM
This is insane, I never thought this would become a law, this is not gambler's friendly.
What they did is they want to limit including those gamblers who are responsible in what they are doing, come one, this is not good for the business TBH.

As far as I understood this would be valid for UK. Obviously the government found out that they have big problem with gambling addiction and they want to control it somehow. However, that doesn't mean that this will be successful solution and that will be accepted at first place. I guess it will not be easy to implement it
369  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Profitable days of holding bitcoin percentage (98.5%) on: August 09, 2020, 09:36:22 AM
Current situation just confirms that holding Bitcoin is the most profitable on long term basis. You need to be patient enough to hold long enough and not to give up in period when the price is low and that happens. Those who stick firm to their goal and strategy will be rewarded at the end.
370  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What makes a good bettor? on: August 08, 2020, 08:48:55 PM
That very much depends on what you bet. In sports betting is very helpul if you have some knowledge and information about the sport you bet on. In some other games, like dice you mainly depend on luck however, I would say that good bettor needs to have something that I would call a sixth sense or hunch, that special feeling to make good assesment and decision when betting.
371  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do scams harm Bitcoin's reputation in the mainstream world? on: August 08, 2020, 03:22:09 PM
I don't think so although by some people who think from the begininig that Bitcoin is scam and something that can't be trusted, such scams only make bad impression even worse
However, we need to have in mind that fiat money is also very often connected with scams, all types of it, and the fact why scamers use Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies is the fact that they are still harder to trace. However, that doesn't mean that Bitcoin is a tool for scam itself.

373  Economy / Gambling / Re: Casinos Withdrawal Fees Rise | August 2020 🔥 on: August 08, 2020, 09:57:33 AM
Some casinos change their fees but there are also sone who have fixed ones, which is better to my opinion. That is also something that is good to check before you choose a casino to play in. And in.such cases it's maybe better to avoid Bitcoin as a gambling coin, maybe ETH would be a better choice. Casinos just try to make the profit and it's on us to try the best terms for us, so a little research of online casinos is needed.
374  Economy / Speculation / Re: Grayscale Buys 800% More Bitcoin Compared to Q1 2019 on: August 08, 2020, 06:34:38 AM
Don't take this as a proof that price will riae strongly. The fact that some financial institution is buying Bitcoin doesn't have to mean anything. Besides they can also nake wrong estimation. What I want to say is that the news like that shouldn't be the ground for your decision whether to buy or sell.

376  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: US Presidential Election 2020 on: August 07, 2020, 10:49:33 AM
Plus when you do mail in voting, you do not have to spend time at all, you just get the mail, you put on your vote, you leave it at the place and you are done, you can do this inside of weeks and weeks.

However if you want to vote in person, you have to wait in lines for hours and hours and you have to actually be there and you have to maybe take that day off from work if you can even do that, so basically it takes a ton of stuff to actually do it, who would really want to do something like that when you can simply just mail your vote without having to worry about none of that. That is the reason why Trump hates it, if they allow mail voting everywhere around the USA and make it super easy, republicans would never win a single more election, there would be only centrist democrats vs progressive democrats.

On of the solutions could be electronic voting system. Some countries in the world already have it (like Estonia) and its functioning well. The chances for misuse are minimal and everything is very fast and convenient for citizens. But I guess Trump wouldn't like that way of voting either.
377  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 900,000 illegal bitcoins. on: August 07, 2020, 09:22:40 AM
These are definitely interesting numbers, but it certainly doesn't come as any surprise to me that the numbers are this high.  I would love to see the numbers for fiat currency, they would be so far beyond these numbers it's not even funny. I think it's important people keep that in mind.

And for fiat currency, such figures would not be comparable.
In addition, these numbers do not seem to me too high, less than 5% of BTC are conditionally illegal, and the fact that this can be tracked is certainly much greater advantage than the fact that they are "problematic".

Exactly, these figures doesn't seem so large and dramatic. Maybe the amount that can't be traced is bigger, however compared to amount of illegal fiat money this is nothing to worry about. We all know that Bitcoin is used for illegal activities as well but so it's fiat with the difference that no one is making drama out of that and stigmatite fiat currencies like they are doing with Bitcoin.
378  Economy / Speculation / Re: When we will see $12k Bitcoin once again? on: August 06, 2020, 08:14:14 PM
I think $12,000 is not the issue but we are now seeing the next target at $14,000. The trending is more of a surprise move than we thought. I believed bitcoin may test $20,000 before October this year. The infect of covid19 on the world economic has died down and we should expert better market conditions from now on.

This is very optimistic ptediction, 20000$ before October. Although 12000$ looks only a step away we have to have in mind that situation in the market might change quickly. Yes, Bitcoin price will probably cross 12000$  but the question is if it will stay there and if the price will continue to grow. Anyway, I don't expect for price to go all the way to 20000$.
379  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto is the future of crowdfunding? on: August 06, 2020, 06:16:11 PM
Well, there are some crowdfunding campaings based on cryptocurrencies but that is still rare. With crowdfunding people try to collect certain amount of money and cryptocurrencies are volatile so that makes it hardee because at the end you might miss some funds. Also, cryptocurrencies are still not great deal regulated so that is another issue. With time that might change but until then majority of crowdfunding will be still based on fiat.
380  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Las Vegas Casinos Scared of Lawsuits on: August 06, 2020, 01:19:17 PM
To be honest, that makes no sense to me. On the same principle people can file lawsuit against shopping malls, beauty salons, restaurants or any other object, people can get infected everywhere.
This sounds to me more like a campaign against casino, an opportunity to make harm to them like "unnecessary" business but I don't think this is going to work.
