361  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: why do people always play gambling even if they always lose? on: January 05, 2024, 04:09:21 PM
Let them share their regrets, this may be his healing process so that he can easily move on from his mistakes. Some people do like sharing their experiences and I think it's a good way to make yourself feel better. I always try to be honest with my partner so that I have someone to share all my regrets and I think your friend is just doing the same. If you think what he is doing is stupid then I doubt you are a real friend to him. If that is what happened to me I will invite that friend of mine for a drink so he can complete his story over beers and some good food.

I agree that sharing will help people to easily let go their painful experiences but it’s different on gambling especially if he is just sharing losses without any plan on stopping it because he probably enjoying the gambling even with losses that makes sharing of story is not a healing process to stop gambling but rather just to simply share the fun he experienced.

Besides, losses is normal in gambling because of its house edge. The experience of gambling is what being paid and count.
362  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Mayweather vs Pacquiao II on: January 05, 2024, 03:52:05 PM
If the rematch takes place this year, Manny will be happy that his lifelong dream has come true because the last time the two legends squared off in a boxing ring, which took place in Nevada on May 2, 2015, Manny complained bitterly that Mayweather didn't win rather he won.

I’m a Filipino but Mayweather won that fight. It’s not a convincingly win since he outsmarted Pacquiao through points by not fighting toe to toe but he really win considering the number of punches land and not only about solid blows punches landed.

Part 2 of the fight, which will take place in neutral ground ''Japan", will be an exciting contest to watch because Manny will give it his all to win, and Mayweather will show him that, even though he retired from boxing six ago and he stays undefeated (50-0), he can still defeat him at any time.

I doubt this match will happened outside US since Mayweather never fought outside the US in his professional career. I knew this is just an exhibition match but I believe all of us will agree that the result of this rematch can be considered as official record on the record of this 2 fighter.
363  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: When do you think the altcoin bull run will begin in 2024? on: January 01, 2024, 12:48:26 PM
I'm obviously somebody who believes trading in altcoins is the right way to maximize profits. Now that we're getting close to a new Bitcoin bull cycle, I just wanted to know how soon do you think altcoins will take flight? Are you following the Altcoin Season Index?

I dunno what price chart you are using but Altcoin market is already on bullrun since the last quarter of 2023. Most of my altcoin holdings already grow at least x2 already which you can only experienced during bull run. Bitcoin is already on 40K level which is just 20K before it reach ATH.

Altcoin bull market season is already started. We are just waiting for the peak to come on this current trend. Probably when Bitcoin already reach new ATH since Bitcoin dominance will decrease that time after the hype.
364  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which one is better, parlay or teaser bet? on: January 01, 2024, 12:44:16 PM

What Is a Teaser Bet?
Quote
In sports betting, a teaser bet is a type of parlay bet. In a teaser bet, the bettor is allowed to change the point spread for a game, making the bet easier to win. In exchange, the sportsbook will lower the payout due to them if they win.

The most common teaser is a two-team, six-point football teaser. For this teaser bet type, the bettor can adjust point spreads for the two games but will realize a lower return in the event of a win. And just as in a standard parlay bet, both teams must cover these new spreads in order for you to win and for your teaser bet to pay out.

Teaser bets are most common when betting on football, and slightly less so in basketball. They can involve two teams, or many more—some sportsbooks allow up to 10 bets in a teaser. As with any type of parlay bet, teasers can generate large returns, but they are also risky.

AFAIK this type bet is not available in most crypto bookies available here in the forum. Bet builder is the other form bets here that can be compared to parlay but they are just the same overall because BB is just a parlay within same event or match.

This Teaser Bet will be better than regular parlay because of its customization feature. The only reason why players choose parlay as is was because there’s no way customized it’s spread. A minor reduction on payout doesn’t matter as long as bet win.
365  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Best non custodial wallet on: January 01, 2024, 11:12:13 AM

366  Economy / Gambling / Re: Blackjack.fun on: January 01, 2024, 10:21:01 AM
-snip-

@Blackjack.fun, if the real reason of locking your ANN thread is just a mere negative comment and scam accusation of one user here that is not even a DT then just open it for transparency. There’s no why the community will believe on a scam accusation without any solid proof. Locking the thread only just show that he is right and not to protect your brand.

I remember that you encounter multiple scam accusations before yet you solved them one by one without locking the thread. It’s just odd that you lock your ANN thread with just his single complaint while you have newly launch token sale of your casino.
367  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you believe in gambling experts predictions? on: January 01, 2024, 10:10:03 AM
Gambling is really that totally random in terms of outcome. So it would really be better that you should really be
that relying with your own choice or bet.

You are correct if we are assuming gambling in general but it’s different if we will assume sports betting specifically since this type of gambling is not pure random because it’s a skill based game too. Analysis is crucial on this game which can highly increased your chance of winning if you are good like Poker game.

If you are literally no analysis skills on sports then it’s really better to follow professional tips because it can increase your winning chance rate assuming that you will use legit tipster. Sports betting is still a gambling but there’s a way to increase your winning chance rate compared to other games like slots and dice that the result is just pure luck based.
368  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Answer this Gambling Question on Duration of Joy after a win or loss on: December 31, 2023, 05:29:06 PM
This doesn't last for long once the it is out of my hand and minds. I am curious, how long does this joy last after a win or a loss—does it linger until your next bet, lasting the whole day, just 20 minutes, or perhaps 2 hours?

I usually don’t play another round of gambling if I still thinking about my previous game. I’m always making sure that my past game will not gonna affect my current game so that I can focus solely on my game. This way I can avoid chasing loss or being scared to lose my bankroll.

I have different time frame on how can I get over to my previous game depending on the amount involved. I stop for long days if I win/lose huge amount while shorter days when I’m just breakeven or close to breakeven.
369  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is your New Year's resolution? on: December 31, 2023, 05:03:52 PM
I’m gambling really fine this year because I finally manage to stop any unplanned gambling that usually resulted to lose. I also achieved this year playing real slow without being tilted whenever I’m experiencing losing.

If I will New Years Resolution for 2024, I think this is about my budget on gambling. I’m planning to reduce more my bankroll because I want to build my house this year without any potential problem that will cause by gambling.
370  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Inoue vs Casimero (possible fight in 2024) Let's discuss! on: December 31, 2023, 05:00:36 PM
Casimero will just shut down by Inoue when this happened. Inoue is not a joke anymore while his skills is downgrade significantly base on both recent fight. I’m not sure anymore how he can beat Inoue when this match happened.

This will still be a hype if Casimero last fight resulted in a convincing manner. He might suffer the same fate of Tapales if he is still living in a dream that he is the only one who can stop Inoue.
371  Economy / Gambling / Re: Trustdice: Terrible sportsbook, 5x! wager to withdraw on: December 31, 2023, 09:26:20 AM
I have taken no bonus, nor won anything. I just noticed after i deposited that the sportsbook is insanely slow and unresponsive, its just a huge hassle to deal with. Therefore i want to just withdraw my money and never use that site again.

Please show me 1 man that reads the full TOS of any website. You expect the casinos to have quite similar TOS, as you would do for rules in real casinos. But here they will hold your money longer than anyone else.

Using find in page function to easily read the part of ToS which you really need to read such as Wagering Requirements and Restricted Country doesn’t take much of your time instead of depositing immediately and complain later.

Besides, You can browse the casino first without depositing real balance before you play since you can experience already how their sportsbook run and decide whether it’s slow or not for you. Yeah the x5 wagering requirements is too high but that’s their terms and it’s your problem now for depositing without reading their terms. You should lock now this thread because you knew already what’s the community answer to your thread.
372  Economy / Gambling / Re: ✨ Shuffle.com | The next generation of crypto casinos | Sports, Casino + token on: December 31, 2023, 09:14:04 AM
ndumm and Shuffle admins, a mere suggestion. Because of the current network congestion happening in the Bitcoin network caused by Ordinals/BRC-20, may I suggest that the casino consider accepting Bitcoin deposits/withdrawals through the Lightning Network? I believe it could also be an opportunity to promote Lightning as an alternative and widen your network of users as well.

Perhaps giving free-spins/bonuses for every deposit through Lightning might encourage Bitcoiners to open a new path/method to use Bitcoin?

Just use Altcoins that has cheap fee and fast transaction confirmation like Tron, BSC and many more instead of using LN since you will still need to convert your Bitcoin to LN in able to deposit on it. Besides LN is still not popular among gamblers as an alternative to cut transaction fee compared on using altcoins.

I believe having a built-in exchange is more helpful to have a temporary solution over transaction fee since gambler can send directly Bitcoin to Casino and then just convert it to altcoin on the casino exchange to save fee for withdrawal.
373  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Buying and Losing My First Bitcoin on: December 30, 2023, 05:25:47 PM
Bitcoin is still completely illegal in my country. I was first introduced to Bitcoin through a friend of mine. I first bought Bitcoin in early 2017. I bought only 25 dollars worth of bitcoins then. The feeling of making the first investment in life was different. Although I wasted that Bitcoin by investing in a third party hype site. I had a hard time losing my first bitcoin.

If Bitcoin is illegal to your country then I don’t think investing on it is still advisable because you can lose everything your investment including paying some fine when you get caught. Also there’s no way for you to benefit on this because you can’t convert it to fiat without having a risk of exposing your identity even with P2P transactions.

Quote
How did it feel when you first invested in Bitcoin?

My first time to acquire Bitcoin is not through purchase but rather by doing faucet and PTC site that pay Bitcoin but small fiat value that time. I invested a lot of my time grinding my Bitcoin that time but I’m feeling optimistic that the price will boom.

Due to my greediness, just like you I lose my very first Bitcoin by investing it on MLM and doubler which is popular during my time. It’s really a painful experience because I spend a lot of time grinding it. But this teach me important lesson to avoid scam until now.
374  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling game is not good and everyone should stay away from it on: December 30, 2023, 05:00:34 PM

The social aspect follows. Gambling is about companionship, excitement, and charitable donations, not simply money. We cant ignore these positives! Society should recognize that gambling has a positive side when done responsibly, like everything else

With the current status of gambling which online casino is already popular I doubt companionship is still exist because we are already playing on our own in online casino. Charitable donations is also not being applied since online casino nowadays only focus in online marketing to extend their rich unlike before when there’s still physical casino existing.

Positive really have a positive but not the 2 point anymore. Maybe it can give a temporary happiness to those people that doesn’t have much social life. I guess?
375  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you do with your altcoin holding with low value on: December 30, 2023, 04:34:09 PM
Will the altcoin become valueless after the campaign is over or could still gain value after some years.

Almost 100% guaranteed that altcoin becomes worthless if it’s valueless after the campaign since it only means that there’s no demand on it and team usually abandoned project like this because they have nothing to gain on pursuing the development of dead project even at the beginning of the project.

I have tons of worthless altcoin that I gain from signature campaign during 2017and still valueless until. I’m not hoping that it will have any value even in the future because there’s no devs developing it anymore.
376  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: why do people always play gambling even if they always lose? on: December 30, 2023, 04:08:05 PM
I wonder where they get the money for deposits? and why they repeat that?. I don't know what the reason reason that doesn't bother them, they should have given up, and changed the game that makes them profitable. if I always lose in the game, I will change the type of game, example If I always lose on a slot, I will change the type of game like sports betting until my capital is back and try the luck again to the slot.

Play gambling if you really want to understand what’s the driving factor that makes them keep coming back. It’s a form of addiction that makes user keep coming back. They probably have a target profit or dream to hit huge jackpot to recover all their losses and earn profit at the same time.

With this kind of motivation, There’s no stopping to these people until they get what they want or if they don’t have money to spend. It’s very easy for a person that already hooked on gambling to produce money especially if they have job or properties that they can sell immediately.
377  Other / Meta / Re: Opinion on Spelling Check on: December 30, 2023, 03:24:52 PM
I think its honeslty great that we don't have a spell check because I think it always has you second guessing yourself and thus training you to always double or triple check your words on a public forum.

Your intention is good but having a spelling check makes the content easy to understand for readers and that will benefit the majority of the forum compared to having an identity of doing a frequent wrong spelling.

I usually use grammarly to correct my grammar and spelling when using my computer. The only time I didn’t use an app that will correct my sentence is through phone. Checking our spelling manually while there’s an app to do it is just a waste of resources and time.
378  Economy / Gambling / Re: ✨ BITCASINO - Elevate Your Gameplay 💎 #1 VIP Crypto Casino ✈️ on: December 30, 2023, 03:07:00 PM
352x of your bet, what a win, mate, congrats!
But, as I can see, it's only second spin from your 10 free spins. What was the win in total? I mean, you couldn't lose anything on the remaining free spins, could you? Smiley

The last 8 spin resulted to dead spin that’s I didn’t add it on screenshot here. Honestly, I thought I can hit the max win because I have an early big win and typically max win behaves like this when I’m watching streamers video hitting max win. I withdraw my funds immediately after this bonus round because I was afraid to become greedy because my expectation on hitting max win didn’t come true. Cheesy

I will try again next week after new year. Been busy lately due to holidays. What slot game you are playing right now?
379  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Maybe future trade is gambling on: December 29, 2023, 04:27:26 PM
Now my question is futures trade is actually gambling? Or how did he lose all his dollars?

You can lose money even on regular trading such as spot trading. Futures trading is just more risky because you are opening positions with leverage which means you borrow money for high margin in exchange for an interest that you will automatically pay once your position is liquidated or closed whichever comes first.

@Oshondy was right that it’s not a gambling but rather just a high risk of trading. Not all activities that associated with risk can be considered as gambling because they have different purpose. Let’s not be confused that gambling risk is for entering purposes while trading is an investment tool.
380  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Pacquiao vs. Buakaw - April 20 on: December 29, 2023, 04:06:04 PM
Would be fun to watch both legends but was more excited on Pacquiao coming to the ring again considering I'm not that familiar with Buakaw though it ring a bell. I think the favor would be on Manny considering it is his niche that they'll fight for but there's not much of disparity though on both sports. Will support Pacquiao all the way.

Manny will surely on advantage with this match since as you already mention, this is the sports he master for his career. Buakaw is a Muay Thai legend but this is boxing which means there’s a handicap on him for not using Muay Thai rules such as legs and elbows on the match.

Pacquiao is still well conditioned even with his age so fighting against non pro boxer will be  an easy fit for him although he might be in danger once he receives a solid punch like what Marquez did to him before.
