362  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: BitHashMiner 10TH/s Bitcoin Miner on: February 05, 2015, 06:56:19 PM
Are you owner it
I'm not.  Taras is probably an admin, but I have no idea what the access levels at bitcoin.it look like.
Not going to answer the other question a third time Smiley

Thanks for mention this, You also targeting my wiki website page : https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/BitHashMiner, Congratulations Now again  Taras removed my Wiki webpage it's showing that they together targeting BitHashMiner  "
I believe you'll find the information relevant to the page protection and deletion in the discussion page (which you also repeatedly blanked out, even after the only discussion content was asking for proof of hardware):  https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Talk:BitHashMiner

That you did not engage in any meaningful debate there, or here, allowing the protection to lapse is not something I can help you with any more than your conspiracy mindset; People generally know how wikis work and can check the edits you, Taras and I have made very exactly.  I'd be happy to list them here.

This TheRealSteve saying Taras is admin at bitcoin.it , Conclusion is,  Who give Money to Taras (Because he admin ) and TheRealSteve then they will agree with you and then agree to place any miner on bitcoin.it,

Above Conversions 100% Proof that TheRealSteve and Taras got big money from Emic PowerModule  (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=903855.0) and as many companies that listed in https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Mining_hardware_comparison,

Because they saying Emic PowerModule is  Scam but not removing it from https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Mining_hardware_comparison,
Now I Grantee they will also delete my this thread Smiley

This was BitHashMiner page: https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/BitHashMiner but unfortunately deleted by Spammy Group (TheRealSteve, Taras)

This is was Emic PowerModule page: https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/EMIC

Who will give money then they will alive but who will not pay them money then suddenly they will remove you.

Now Every One Know that Truth about these. Smiley

.

Can we see the truth of your miner?  Video of it working and picture of chips please.
363  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: BitHashMiner 10TH/s Bitcoin Miner on: February 05, 2015, 05:12:52 PM

364  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Philipma1957's attempt to rate current Manufacturers of Asic . Results in. on: February 03, 2015, 08:08:07 PM
I really like the idea of this, but would like to see some more depth to it. Maybe have a rating scale per company on each question? It is pretty obvious everyone knows SP-Tech and Bitmain are the only good sellers, but it would be cool to see who does what better.

only lee's 500 s-5's hosted in china are cheap as my home in the winter.  he is sold out and his new deal is going to reflect bitmaintech's price rise to 370 a unit.

There are at least three hosting locations in Washington state that charge between 7.5 and 8.5 cents per kwh.  That's the only way I'm in it right now.
365  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: BitHashMiner 10TH/s Bitcoin Miner on: February 03, 2015, 02:58:15 AM
This gets a D/D- for scam artist effort.  He really did not even try very hard.  Just through this together in a day or so.
I think he his capable of much better scams if he applies himself a little more.

We will find out soon.
Let us know. I have 4 collecting dust right now.

369  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [Review] Bitmain Antminer S5 - A wonderfully modable and well performing miner on: January 31, 2015, 06:52:19 PM
I know this post is old, I am new to overlocking too.

...does anyone have a guide to how to best overclock these miners? Do I just turn the frequency up? What is the safest level to do so?

I have. You can look at my S5 overclocking results and see that there is no sence to rise the frequency above 400.

Rabinovitch has a lot good data on that link.  His little table showing the results of various frequency settings I find to be accurate.

Personally, I put all my S5's at 375 with the stock fan.  The temps never get higher than 51 and on average I am getting 1250 gh/s at the rig and that or higher on BAN and Ghash.  I am not a slush fan, though many are, so I don't have any results there.

But I can safely rent these out at an advertised rate of 1.2 Th/s on betarigs and never have an issue.  Unless my renter is using some wacky pool or mining an altcoin or something.  That's on them anyway.  I just report the speed at the rig and the rest is their choice.  Smiley
370  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [BitAffNet] How we're the #1 Bitcoin Mining Pool In The World (proof inside) on: January 30, 2015, 03:54:46 PM
Same.  I would love to come back.  But with btc rate down where it is, I need regular payment to pay for hosting.
So I'll have to wait until they get back to steady payments.  Or at least daily payments.
371  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: [lee group]340$ the sales promotion of hosted antminer S5(golden psu included) on: January 29, 2015, 09:39:55 PM
But not being able to change the pools myself is problematic.  I rent all my miners out on betarigs.  So that's a big negative for me.

Just to clarify, are we allowed three pools of our choice or are we limited to your three pools?

I have several machines that he hosts (not S5's but I presume they are the same), you can specify any 3 pools that you want.

The easiest way to manage rigs is to use MiningRigRentals instead of Betarigs, you set that as your first pool on the machines along with a couple of backups. From the MRR site you can then add up to 5 pools and add/swap/delete/re-order them to your hearts content.

Thanks Tiggger.  MRR looks like a good site.  But I have built up too much good reputation to leave Betarigs.  I like the idea of selecting backup pools right on the rental site though.  Betarigs does not have that.
My preference to back up is BAN.  But as Philip will attest, getting paid lately has been problematic.  So I have had to change the back up on all my rigs.  Getting to be a tedious job.
Well I will mull it over a little.  Thanks for the input.

I used betarigs, its easy, you just set it as pool#1 as it only activates when your rig is rented. Then set your normal pool for pool#2 and backup for pool#3

As I said, I would like remote access to change pools on the fly as well so you can take advantage of competitions such as kano's or late payouts at BAN or eligius.

What he said.
372  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: [lee group]340$ the sales promotion of hosted antminer S5(golden psu included) on: January 29, 2015, 06:11:45 PM
Just an off topic comment on renting rigs right now -
Have those renting out their rig gone insane?  They are renting them on betarigs and mrr at below the .00001218 /Gh/day, which is the theoretical return just mining on your own.  I know there are always some low ballers.  I never rent my rigs for less than a +7-10% over the theoretical return.  It's not worth it to me for the risk of an issue or refund request.  But some are renting now for .00001180/Gh/day!!!  Makes no sense.
Sorry for the off topic comment.
373  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: Pool for a renter, leasing rig on: January 29, 2015, 05:58:06 PM
I use two depending on what's going on.  Either Ghash.io, which I know many think is the devil, but it's consistently up and running.
Or BAN (Bitcoin Affiliated Network) because it's the best return of any pool.  But they have had a streak of hard luck and are running behind in payments at the moment.

No payments yet.  Owed .5 btc.
376  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: [lee group]340$ the sales promotion of hosted antminer S5(golden psu included) on: January 29, 2015, 04:12:40 PM
My electricity cost is $.16/kwh so I now have all my miners hosted at various facilities in Washington state.  This deal really appeals to me.  But not being able to change the pools myself is problematic.  I rent all my miners out on betarigs.  So that's a big negative for me.

Also - just as a cautionary note to newbies - I got scammed last year by a guy pretending to be pcfli.  Learned my lesson.  Do not send btc based on a pm.  At least not to a group buy.

When is the last sale made from bitfury to the general public?

About 6 weeks ago last I checked

Bitfury sold gear 6 weeks ago?  Where?  To who?  A retail consumer/small miner?  I'm not being facetious, I would like to know.

Openly on the market. You can [could] drop them a message and find out their MOQ and hardware very openly.
Did not answer my question.

I did?

Bitfury sold gear 6 weeks ago? Up until 6 weeks ago they sold the BF3500, yes.
Where? [If to where] Globally [If from where] Bitfury.org when you contact them
To who? Anyone with enough money.
A retail consumer/small miner? I don't see how that's relevant to my thread.
I see.  So your guide is for institutional or large commercial miners.

It is a "manufacturer trustworthiness thread", interpret that how you will.

What it ISN'T however,
1) is a resource that can be tampered with just because one company is anxious to get their 100 rating faster than the system allows, for motives that are NDA'ed and not able to be revealed.
2) is a resource that can be swayed to expel a perfectly legitimate company simply because a competitor determines that they don't fit on the list.

I'll take whatever shit anyone wants to throw at me but I hold myself to ethical and moral standards that aren't compatible with 'corporate pressure'.
I'm not involved in that sub-thread. I was looking for an avenue to buy new bitfury gear.

380  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Philipma1957's attempt to rate current Manufacturers of Asic for home mining. on: January 28, 2015, 02:02:17 AM
A lot of good comments.  Just my 2 bits:

Miners have a short "profit" life.  Any manufacturer poll can differ significantly depending on who has the hot miners.  Bitfury is not relevant right now and may not be again.  But if you took this poll last spring the answers would be very different.
And if you take it 3 months from now the answers will be different.
I will say that Bitmain and Spondoolies are the first manufacturers to show a consistent and relevant product line.  Asicminer has made great miners in the past and is the most generous with returns.  But there can be a long time where they don't have hot miner.  There are others like this.

So timing of this sort of survey is everything.
