Ok, got it.

Free bump for you as it is a superior service, no doubt about that.
Not as instant, but to save 3% on the fees it's worth it to wait a couple hours.
3702  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: [ANN] Finally Bitcoin to PayPal payouts are available ... 2 months ago on: June 27, 2012, 02:08:34 PM

Can you please clarify on the Paypal fees? Here you say it's ~3%, but AFAIK Paypal will charge $0.35+3.25% and you also charge 1% on the site, so it doesn't seem to add up, or am I missing something?
Nonetheless, 4.5% is way better than 6%, can't really argue that, as it's a fact Tongue

Check this thread https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=88584.0 for a tool to parse those statistics(and some others).
3706  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Different address for each person to send to? on: June 27, 2012, 12:41:08 AM
So, I guess you would have to use javascript.
The only e-wallet I'm aware of that has javascript buy now buttons is walletbit.com, but they charge 1.49% to receive bitcoin.

3707  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Different address for each person to send to? on: June 27, 2012, 12:28:42 AM
You mean, for everytime someone sells you some bitcoins you give a different address for them to send the BTC to you?
Also, can you use php on a weebly site?
3708  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: [ANN] Finally, Bitcoin withdrawals to PayPal from BitInstant! on: June 27, 2012, 12:07:18 AM
As far as I know Paypal charges fees on receiving end.

You've mentioned that part of 6% is paypal's fee, does that mean paypal's receiving account will not pay any additional paypal fee  on their end?  And if so could you please point to paypal's terms where they explain charging fees on sender's side instead of receiving and who is eligible for it. Thanks.

I know of a case where the sender pays the fees. It's called "Mass Pay". Maybe that's what they're using.

Why the multiple threads?

People tend to think that by posting on the "Bitcoin Discussion" board will get them more views.

Sorry, I didnt realize I made 2 threads. Feel free to delete the other one.

I can't delete it. Also, it's the other one that is posted on the correct board. Smiley

You being egcellent means you owe me 3.5 btc for that copy of AC3 you never delivered. If you are going to repay, then great. Otherwise I will file a police report and come after you.

Best reply in the whole thread... A pearl, indeed.

Way to necro, faggot

Lovely weather we're having this time of year.

A well deserved necro. Wink
Maybe some of the dudes that Shakaru owes money to will see it and let him taste a little bit of his own medicine...

3713  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: BitForce SC - full custom ASIC on: June 26, 2012, 07:27:46 PM
Not sure if this has been answered yet or not but when will you start accepting paypal for pre-orders I need to upgrade and the only way i personally feel comfortable is with paypal and through my credit card?

Why do you want to scam the BFL merchants by chargeback Huh

Bad !

Use BTC and bank wire only so you can get screwed hard !

I know with them not taking PayPal for ASIC pre-orders makes me think there very worried about charge backs.  So either the device won't ship until 2013 or they are going to cut the specs considerably.

Or maybe they just wanted to support a company that uses Bitcoin and also save some money on fees.
Bit-pay isn't much cheaper than Paypal, but when we talk about large sums, even 0.5% less in fees is a sum not to be disregarded and left on the table.
3714  Economy / Services / Re: WAMPSERVER PROBLEM ! CAN SOMEBODY HELP ME MINIMUM 1 BTC BOUNTY ! on: June 26, 2012, 06:02:08 PM
There's always the possibility of also restoring the db files, but that can be complicated in case the MySQL version is different.

A db dump in a SQL file would be the ideal, but I suppose you only backed up the wamp server, from what I understood from the thread at the wamp forum.

I have teamviewer and may be able to help you later. Send me a PM when you get back home Wink
We will need to find the db binary files and put them back on your new wamp install and pray for MySQL not to be a different version or at least that it reads them without problem.

OK, you can try this yourself.

C:\wamp\bin\mysql\mysql5.5.16\

Note the version number on the folder name. You should have 2 mysql version folders inside C:\wamp\bin\mysql\ now that you copied your old files to the new instalation lol
Copy the dir that has your db name that you'll find inside "C:\wamp\bin\mysql\mysql5.X.XX\data" from your previous mysql folder to your new mysql folder and that should be all you need to do(or not, depending on some other factors) Smiley

The above is getting confusing, so let me try to put this into some nice steps.

1- Fire up your new wamp server installation
2- Create a database with the same name and password as the previous one. You can find that info on the wp-config.php file
4- Stop wamp
4- Go to your wamp backup and search the \wamp\bin\mysql\mysql5.X.XX\data\ folder.
5- Inside that folder there is a folder with your db name. Copy it.
6- Paste the folder you copied into C:\wamp\bin\mysql\mysql5.X.XX\data
7- Start wamp again and check if your project is working or not

In any case, I can always help you with teamviewer when you get home, if what I said above doesn't make much sense to you

http://forum.wampserver.com/read.php?2,85611

My problem is recovering an old version of my wampserver project so i can continue devloping !

Anyone knows how to help?

Do you have all the wordpress files and a database backup?

EDIT: Read the thread and I see you do have a backup(at least from the files).
First thing you need is to create a database. If you create the same username/password combination as the previous database it will save you the trouble of editing the wp-config.php file Wink
Next step: Restore the database using phpmyadmin.

I know this isn't exactly what you want, but it's the simplest approach possible.

O principal problema é que estou certo de que o volume não trará receita suficiente para cobrir alguma fraude que aconteça. Juntando a isso o facto de ser uma dor de cabeça tremenda lidar com as leis de protecção de dados no caso de pedir identificação aos clientes...
Parece-me pouco viavel  Wink
3718  Economy / Auctions / Re: BitCrate (domain and source code) on: June 26, 2012, 02:20:42 PM
Forum time is GMT. You could've said GMT.

To me, forum time is GMT+1. I'm sure for others it will be their timezone. GMT and other conventions exist so people don't need to resort to ambiguous terms.
Well, I guess the OP should be glad none of the bidders decided to complaint about that. They would have a case...
3719  Economy / Auctions / Re: BitCrate (domain and source code) on: June 26, 2012, 01:59:59 PM
Yes, the auction would be closed June 26th forum time, although I should have elaborated on that.

Since the last reply before June 26th was from mark_logan, his 15 BTC bid has won the auction.

You better get other way to set the timezone as there is no such thing as forum time. Forum time is dependent on the timezone each user sets at registration or on their profile settings
