I have agreed to transfer the funds to Patrick Murck and it'll take place within 24 hours.
To my best knowledge the total interest held by Patrick's clients far exceeds the requested funds at the moment, and Patrick has given me a statement acknowledging that the funds returned are strictly originated from stolen properties of Bitcoinica.
The relevant parties will also post a statement publicly upon receipt of 15,000 BTC, the first batch of funds.
Cool. So this guy was happy to just hand over the cash to you after you called him out? Apparently so. That's standard relic collector gangster procedure, didn't you know?

<usagi> Nothing I said online was a lie. As I stated, I am a japanese vampire princess. I am an immortal. Throw in immortality and I'll raise my bid to 0 BTC That really makes one have trust on her

Bingo! Well, they take the volatility risk and the accounting nightmare(?) from your shoulders, so that's got to be worth something. Right?
Yes, though of course bitcoin created those problems in the first place. So its basically making it equal to a credit card, both in terms of price and convenience. Which then of course begs the question I brought up in my early post "why bother at all?". How many new customers would want my product enough to buy it with bitcoins, but not want it enough to buy it with dollars? (especially because there is no market pressure, you cant buy tea elsewhere with bit-coins *that I know about*) If all else is equal, im geeky enough to want to implement it just for fun and to promote a cool idea... but the larger question here is "why are more merchants not adopting this"... I think its pretty clear. You forgot the most important detail of them all, one I left out on purpose: no chargebacks! That little detail makes it so much different from Credit Cards/Paypal, and on the long run it will save you money for sure, thus increasing your profit margin. Ofcourse I have no idea if you have problems and lost profit because of chargebacks.

I just took a look at their rates... it would be 2.69% to cash out. This is not horrible, but its not great either. Bingo! Well, they take the volatility risk and the accounting nightmare(?) from your shoulders, so that's got to be worth something. Right?

Now one thought exercise: I pay taxes and I DEMAND that the police investigates if I ever get "cryptocoins" stolen from me. What are you going to do about it?
Well, first I'd have to laugh at the idea of you attempting to explain the multiple advanced concepts necessary to understand cryptocoins to your earnest reporting officer (who has much more important matters pending his limited attention than your nerd drama). What makes you think the officer doesn't know what Bitcoin is? Also, the only thing he needs to ask me is: How much was it worth? When I tell him it was worth more than €2500 the procedures change as those cases require special investigation and will automatically be passed to the FBI equivalent in my home country, most likely to the cybercrime division given the typology of the crime at hand. You assume too much...

I get back from the warehouse(s) to discover my genius thread was moved. I guess I need to connect the dots and tell the story real slow before I get them BlowBobs (plural, cause I'll deserve them all).
~Bruno~
Why wait? Get done with it. Spill it out. Or we call you crazy or genius. The usual, you know.

Thanks for the answer . I still willing to bet they're the same person. I can give you one more detail that matches between the 2 strings. Besides the OS being the same, NT 6.1 (Windows 7), those UA strings belong to a 32bit OS.

|

True that. When I use my android tablet I use a desktop browser UA most of the time because I hate being served mobile versions of websites. I only answered to satisfy the curiosity of AndyRossy.

Please could you get the Browser User Agent ID for both Danny Maddox and BitcoinExpress?
No need to get theymos involved. The following is information I gathered personally. Only admins can get this information from the forum, and I'm not an admin. BitcoinExpress: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; rv:14.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/14.0.1 <-- FIREFOX DannyMaddox: Mozilla/5.0 (compatible; MSIE 9.0; Windows NT 6.1; Trident/5.0) <-- INTERNET EXPLORER 9 As you can see they use the exact same OS. Both the IP's I got are from CA. And a SEO/SEM professional using IE? Really? LOL

I want to buy a decent # of bitcoins (~5000).
I've been trying to jump through the various hoops to buy some bitcoins for about a week without much success. I opened a Dwolla account, but they restrict transfers from the bank to $5000. It took 48 hours just to verify my bank account with them. So I requested a transfer of $5000. Only after 24 hours did they say that I'm not really verified, and that they can't do it unless I upload a photo id. Not sure I want to jump through these hoops if there are going to be another ten steps which take me a month to take.
In order of priority, I want a way to buy that's
1) fast 2) private 3) low commission
What's the best way to do this?
Drive to McKinney, TX with a suitcase full of cash! The man said with a low commission

Do you also think coblee and theymos are scammers? They were in on the prank, sort of.
A prank now? Sort of? Theymos? Source? Evidence? Calling out an admin to participate in a prank is serious. @Psy
Theymos looked at all that last week as well as determined I wasn't involved in any DDoS on the forum and more importantly there's no conclusive report that DDoS did take place. Please quit embarrassing yourself by simply repeating what others are saying.
As always, warm regards
~BCX~
That only relates to the DDoS'ing of the forum on July 5, 2012. And what theymos did was ask BCX if the IRC log was real, to which BCX gave a negative answer, like the coward he is. Stop being dense, BCX II.

Hey cops! Some guy stole my math equations that are worth on the black market xxx usd
Last time I check MtGox and other exchanges aren't black markets. The fact that Bitcoins (and dollars) can be used for illegal purposes doesn't negate the fact that they have value in legit markets. OK fine. They are UNREGULATED AND NO LAWS PROTECT FROM THIS TYPE OF PRODUCT. Is that better? Hi bulanula! Welcome back! You got to be kidding me. All of you saying such barbarities are making me wish someone steals some bitcoins from me so I can go complaint to the police and prove you wrong =/

May I ask you what are you doing on this forum since November last year?

No, he didn't determined anything. You simply denied the validity of the log because you're not man enough to stand by what you say and do. You're a coward, Mr. Maddox. Now the log was confirmed as valid. You have 2 choices: 1- You admit on being a criminal 2- You admit on being a liar and a coward Which is it?

This is not funny. Not funny!
Why? The only thing that will happen is that MNW will participate on a Korean soap opera and his character only appears on that episode and dies.

He was wearing SWAT type gear, they wouldn't let him where that inside. Do you accept this?
He used a fire exit to go get his gear after going inside the theater as a normal person. Orange hair and normal person just doesn't compute lol I've seen way crazier hair on many people; in modern times strong hair colors aren't exactly rare. but... but... it doesn't match his skin tone! I was talking about artificially colored hair. So was I. Well, if it has the desired effect.. Damn, Taz. Thanks for the nightmares!
