3001  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Whitelist Requests (Want out of here?) on: August 03, 2012, 07:56:40 PM
I would like to be given access to post -- I have not made any posts (simply because there were no worthwhile posts to be made outside of forums I could not reply to) -- I have purchased a rig off the market place and I would really like to be able to post there stating that the deal went w/o a hitch and give the seller some credit.

Otherwise I guess I can make 5 pointless posts in the "other" section... but is forced junk/spam posts really the answer to this problem? :/

ps. I am new to bitcoins and what not... primarily hear to learn.

Thanks,
-Karl

seeing as how I got over looked... guess this isnt the best way to so replying here and creating a pointless thread so I can give someone the rep they were due a week ago

Thanks.

You already are a Jr.Member, no need for whitelisting you.

Where was that proven, Phinn?

You should take a deep breath and slow down a bit. Maybe grab a couple beers, smoke a cigar, relax a bit...

But, failing that, I'm actually not sure why he hasn't called game over already. These weekly payouts certainly bite into his stash, and, as a rough, statistical guess, they are growing exponentially.

Because maybe, just maybe, he's legit?

Naaaahhhhh... can't be!

Are you going to edit the title of your thread to let everyone know it's resolved or should I do it for you, slick?

I love it when Silk Road users fuck it up or something goes wrong when buying BTC and they get an account here to try and solve their problems lol

You have "Bitcoin Scammers" linked on your signature...  This coupled with your tone suggests you are a hypocrite.  As things stand, my problem was resolved after posting about it here.  Would the same results be expected via Bitcoin Scammers?

Are you laying in the same financial bed as BitInstant and crew?

I don't think Charlie will be happy with that statement.

Why having such a link on my signature suggests I'm an hypocrite, mind explaining?
In fact if you posted there I bet they would email Charlie/Bitinstant right away to let them know and allow them to defend themselves.

The problem started to get solved after you emailed the right person.
That still doesn't negate what i said.
Thanks for the laughs, tho, slick.

I guess the question is, what is your financial relationship with this crew you are defending?  And why are they not on your scammers website?

Because they are not scammers and already proved themselves not to be scammers many times before.
Also because you didn't post it there. If you did they would be there, and the matter would be resolved the same way and the whole world would see they are not scammers.

So, after you lost because you couldn't double check a bitcoin address you decide that you'll get the money back by playing on the same place where you lost the money...

Oh boy... You're in for quite a ride lol

Service update: the hosting provider terminated my account without notice and deleted the vps.

Why did they do it?  Huh
3015  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: predictions for next hack on: August 03, 2012, 04:38:53 PM
I'll take SatoshiDice. All you need is to change the deposit addresses with a vanity 1dicexxx

That won't bring in much money.
I suspect most SD players have the addresses saved already Wink
3016  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: What's the date information in the official client based upon? on: August 03, 2012, 04:07:32 PM
Never seen that behaviour before.
But I notice that every time I get a transaction when the client is not running it always gets timestamped with the date/time of when the client knew about it when I start it and the transaction arrives, which is consistent with the rescan timestamping when the wallet has all transactions cleared.

Maybe it's the date the transactions have on the wallet.dat that is giving those discrepancies, as you still have them on the wallet.dat, even if you delete the blockchain.

Maybe one of the devs will chime in and give you a logic explanation for that behaviour.
3017  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: What's the date information in the official client based upon? on: August 03, 2012, 03:39:46 PM
The last time I deleted all transactions from my wallet and did a rescan they all got the date/time of when the rescan found the transactions on the blockchain.
So, if you were downloading the blockchain, the date/time is the date/time at which the transactions were found by the client.
