Looking for a whitelist, whenever a mod gets around to it.

You don't need a whitelist because you already are a Jr.Member.

Hey board

I got an idea the other day and I wanted to spread it around on the forum.

I'm setting up BitcoinRadio, a website and all the social media jazz that goes along with it. I'm willing setup and host for free and was looking for some good English speaking people that are excited to make radio for bitcoin Smiley

My idea was to make the program accessible to the broader public, but because the project is in a early stage, I'm open for all ideas.

I wanted to post this idea in more detail on the Project Development forum.

Thnx
Sam

relative stats
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=stats > forum history part
for the past year this forum gets about 2000 new users joining constantly each month

That's not a good metric at all when you realize half or more of those users only register because they can leave a keyword anchored link on their profile page and don't even post or come back to the forum again Wink
3030  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A retort to the "Monopoly Money Argument" on: August 03, 2012, 09:34:37 AM
A friend just asked me today what separates Bitcoin from Monopoly Money.

Here is the result.

Why link it to reddit where it links to the Bitcoin Wiki?

3032  Economy / Speculation / Re: This rally is a pirate bubble on: August 02, 2012, 11:17:23 PM
there are some strong hands holding onto BTC and the reward for mining has not even cut in half

Wonder how many people read my 9 June 2012 post before all this got started.

Stop spamming your post everywhere. Roll Eyes
3033  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Feedback from Tor user about bitcointalk.org and freenode #bitcoin* on: August 02, 2012, 10:54:10 PM
Selling accounts without IP bans, allowed over Tor and allowed to post everywhere within the rules would be more interesting.

I don't think that is such a good idea. Shared accounts also aren't.
3034  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Whitelist Requests (Want out of here?) on: August 02, 2012, 10:48:32 PM
Hi,

I am an attorney currently working as an anti-money-laundering investigator for one of the world's largest banks. The decentralized nature of Bitcoin is raising serious AML concers within the banking system.

Bitcoin lacks a centralized entity making it incapable of conducting due diligence, monitoring and reporting of suspicious activity, running an AML compliance program, or accepting and processing legal requests like subpoenas.

Despite the above-mentioned risks and cocens of my employer and my employer's regulaotrs, I strongly believe in Bitcoin. I believe it has the potential to completely transform the global monetary system. I am here to help in any way that I can.

I am not a Newb! Please unrestrict me. There are things I want to discuss andf I think this is the forum to do it.

3037  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BitcoinExpress = DANNY MADDOX = MicroCashMike on: August 02, 2012, 08:06:13 AM
Who do you guys think this is?

Took me a while download all 2500 of these photos.

Personally I would rather this all stop because this could get rather ugly?

http://www.flickr.com/...

I think they are great, but could you please put a name to them ? haven't we all played enough of your games already ?

...and as far as this getting ugly ? how much worse can it get for you ?....LMAO

See, if you actually had a brain, you would understand that although you claim to NOT be the Real Life Danny Maddox, it is still a WIN/WIN situation for us thanks to your confirmed identity theft and online impersonation of him.

When/If he comes knocking at our doors (LMAO...right) we only need show him (you) how stupid the Danny Maddox name was made to look with the fake bomb threats and child wellfare/endangerment complains that you faked.

You say you know him and obviously that means He knows you....(if it's not YOU already).

So, you see ? it's an Ace in the hole no matter what.

Either it IS you and you look like a complete Sociopath... or it IS someone who you have a connection with and assuming he ahs 'the power' that you say he does, we can leave it to HIM to make your life a living hell.

Did you ever think of THAT ?

Moron...

Sure I can put a name with it, it goes with this

Alllan Gledhill This is you http://bodyspace.bodybuilding.com/...

You're connected to her http://bodyspace.bodybuilding.com/...

This is your entire life and I have all 2500 photos http://www.flickr.com/....

I also have Cheezamonkey's FB page, as well as Cheryl Gledhill.

You're denial indicates weakness.

How about we call a truce and take this PM.

I see nothing in there that Bitlane should be ashamed of.
You on the other hand... how much more pathetic can you get?
3038  Economy / Speculation / Re: I have made a 25% return this week trading *against* the pirate on: August 02, 2012, 07:56:23 AM
Why wouldn't he make both sides of the deal before agreeing to it?

Why does every anti-pirate FUDster assume pirate is retarded?

I don't get it.
Okay fine, then if you assume he makes 5% on every BTC trade he does (not outwith the realms of possibility) then he'd still have to trade somewhere in the region of 550k-600k BTC per week to break even...

And that's this week.
By october with trust accounts at the current rate he'd owe over a million BTC...

So, nobody will withdraw any money or get the interest paid? ALL Compounding MoronsTM?
Is that what you're saying, or am I misunderstanding you?

3040  Economy / Collectibles / Re: How would you like to design a bitcoin banknote? on: August 02, 2012, 06:52:10 AM

I sent the BTC to the donation address in this link... 1EUbpbRV68Rap4JcQFkfxd2urgv9hLy2uu

Received! Thank you.
I will tell my friend to drop by the thread and thank you and all who donated so far!

BTW, the green note, is almost ready. Only my part missing, which is converting the PSD layers into vector objects.
Let's see if today I take a few hours from goofing around and get it done Tongue
