3721  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ARE ICOS STILL LEGIT? on: September 12, 2019, 04:54:48 AM
We heard the news of IEO to be in place of ICO in order to curb the high rate of failure and scams in the development of altcoins projects in this year 2019. My surprise is that I still see series of projects claiming to be in ICOs. Doesn't that make them scam as we have seen in the same scenarios in the past?

If it is, I wonder why people still invest whether their time or monies in such projects which have high risk of loss or being scammed.
Do you expect a scammer to ever give up, they will never give up because they know they will always find some gullible investors, although they might not be collecting as much as they use to get because, but to think of it, I do not really think every ICO that you see are scam, because of the high listing fee of IEO, and you know that you have to pay first, which means you must have money before the project can be publicly shared, while ICO does not require that, so they would also still want to bet their luck on ICO first, and if they can make it on it, they proceed to using IEO to complete it, so you will still find both Legit and Illegal ICO, we just need to watch it that we only do with those who are legit so that we can protect our money from slipping off to scammer’s hand.
3722  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: This might be ridiculous, but let answer this question on: September 12, 2019, 04:20:53 AM
Crypto is a risky game my friend and you should be really bold to dive into it with all your free time. I have couple of jobs and crypto is a hobby. And btw forget about bounties as a mean of earning funds. Especially in 2019.
Bounty hunting is really a waste of time right now, we have other freelance jobs that one can do to earn money, although it might to be because it is crypto. But they pay with cryptocurrency, there is an article company that I do write for and ever since they have been paying me, they pay me with bitcoin.

They have actually been existing even right before bitcoin was created, but the challenge has been with how to receive payment, it has not been easy receiving payment so there was a limitation to participating in it, but bitcoin has made it easy for me to receive my pay in bitcoin because they had integrated it, I also concentrate too more on trading right now, so it is just few campaign that I do and I ensure that I do through research before doing that.
3723  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum: 2017 vs 2019 on: September 12, 2019, 03:54:07 AM
Very interesting comparison that analyzes holding ETH in 2017 vs holding it today... https://cryptotradernews.com/cryptocurrency/hodling-ethereum-2017-vs-2019/

Thoughts? I'm super happy to have swaped all of my ETH for BTC to be honest
I would not say that you missed your step swapping your Ethereum for bitcoin, but those that are still holders of Ethereum has also not missed their step too, there is a season for everything, there was a time too that bitcoin was this down and people never had faith in it, remember also that bitcoin grew from $0 to $19800 and back to where is now, so if people had given up on bitcoin when it went down to $3000, would they be seeing the $10k growth right now on their investment.

We should not discourage the team of Ethereum, they are really trying their best, they cannot force people, and they can only encourage people. So it is left for people to decide when to invest heavily in Ethereum and I am sure that there will be a factor one day that will massively encourage people to put money into Ethereum market.
3724  Economy / Speculation / Re: Facebook’s Libra + Bitcoin + Trump + Israel = 666 Orwellian Dystopia on: September 11, 2019, 06:32:10 PM
Seeing all these things has global currency, I have already known too that it is typically signs of end of the time, cryptocurrency might not really be fully implemented in our own time, maybe after the coming of our lord Jesus Christ as a believer, it is already written that there would be one currency, and I think that this is already a sign.

It makes me have this believe that time will come that the world will start recognizing bitcoin and using it, by that time, paper currency would have gone digital, so instead of creating another digital coin, they would have no choice than to use the already existing currency that has already been known by the whole world, because of you look at the way bitcoin has really been exposed, virtually all world leaders knows about it.
3725  Economy / Speculation / Re: Analyst: Bitcoin below $ 10,000 is a gift! on: September 11, 2019, 05:48:28 PM
Any Bitcoin price drop is an additional opportunity for investors to purchase more BTC coins. Therefore, I believe that the fall in prices can be called a positive moment for some members of the community. I always take the opportunity to buy more BTC when its price drops.
I think the opportunity of dip of bitcoin is more beneficial to trader, because they are the ones that is buying at low and selling at high, and that is why trader are praying for fluctuations a lot. I am not a trader per say, but I have made much money within this range of bitcoin, and it has really been of blessing to me, with that fluctuation, I have actually been able to pay my rent because I made at least $1000 twice this year with that dip and rise, while my Long-term investment is still there waiting for the bull run of bitcoin to come, and when that one comes, it would a lot much bigger than all I have been making in trading, but that one is still next year, but before then , we take advantage of this $10000 range gift till further notice.
3726  Economy / Speculation / Re: Strength of Bitcoin on: September 11, 2019, 04:58:05 PM
I agree, talk for example Paypal, some claim that bitcoin transactions today is more than Paypal but if you are going to take a closer look, bitcoin transactions are the every day trading activity and not payment schemes as Paypal.
Bitcoin has more daily value throughput measured in dollars, but transaction wise, PayPal leads all the way. And yes, the difference is quite important too because most of PayPal's value throughput goes towards payments, while most of Bitcoin's value throughput goes towards speculation. People however love to present just one side of the story to strengthen their pro Bitcoin narrative.
PayPal is leading right now because it is an old payment system and has been on ground, if bitcoin and PayPal were to be created at the same time, PayPal would have long been forgotten because there are so many benefits of bitcoin payment to PayPal. With PayPal, there is still some limitations, and everything in PayPal transaction is not anonymous, coupled with the fact that the cost of transacting business through PayPal is far higher than that of bitcoin.

For every transfer you make through PayPal, there is a fee of 5 percent which is either burned by the sender or the recover depending on the agreement between them, but how much do we use in transacting through bitcoin, the fee is so cheap. The only thing with bitcoin is just the slow processing.
3727  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bakkt on: September 11, 2019, 04:07:10 PM
It looks Wall street dont like Bitcoin that much. Apparently is not that much interest. Hopefully just yet and not at all.
Based on what? The price that's going down? Bakkt hasn't done anything to promote itself as a price driver. No product, no actual sign of demand for physically settled futures, etc. The price shouldn't react to this.

The reason for the price not to go up much more is because we're stuck in a bearish pattern, and the fact that little to no fresh capital is entering the space (read; no influx of stablecoin inflation).

When Tether was printing tokens the price kept going up consistently. Now Tether's printing has almost stopped, so does the bullish momentum that we had. It seems that we're due for months of bearish price action.
By now, I expected that the bakkt news would have made an impact already, but seems people are not easily moved by some of these news again, and we have to expect something more powerful to really get people engage with the market again, but I still don’t see anything wrong at the level that we are now in the usage of bitcoin.

The market is full of traders, and we should expect this always, I know we have been expecting it to break bigger barriers because of the investment we have, but know that bitcoin also functions as payment, as people demand for bitcoin and outs money into the market, remember that the receivers also have its own agenda of changing it to fiat which will make the money to leave the market, so we cannot really avoid this fluctuations we see, but in this fluctuation, there are also benefits.
3728  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bad days for crypto on: September 11, 2019, 03:36:06 PM
For about some months now, bitcoin has been hovering around $10k and $11k. And still yet there are no change's in altcoin price. All hopes are not lost in altcoin yet, I still believe next year will be altcoin year
That move of bitcoin is just a minor consolidation, and that would not be the one that will move altcoins to start their uptrend, I think the major consolidation of bitcoin will start when the bull run of bitcoin had begun and it had reached a high peak of almost pulling all altcoins up, then we can expect any consolidation that we see then that is quite long to be the one that will be responsible for the increase of altcoins.

For that, I didn’t see it actually happening this year at all and I think it would be till next year before we can expect such consolidation, maybe after the halving, we should expect the altcoins season to start any moment from them, so we just have to be extremely patient till next year for the altcoins to start their own surge in price.
3729  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: LiteCoin or ETHEREUM? Best Investment option. on: September 11, 2019, 01:26:07 PM
After Bitcoin, LiteCoin & ETHEREUM made my shortlist for an investment option.

ETHEREUM - My Main concern is Supply is a little bit high & Price is already over $150 which is -1 point against LiteCoin.

LiteCoin - supply is less than 64M & price well under $70.

Which one you would choose for long term invest & Why?

I will invest in both if it is still going down. I know one day, it will esape being held in downtown area. Both will perform well in the near future when bitcoin started showing upward movement.
Any coin within the space of top altcoins are coins that should really be invested in, because they are the major coins that will remain in the market forever like bitcoin and would also stay with bitcoin for as long as bitcoin leaves, and Litecoin is not exceptional, it belongs to that grow up and Litecoin has been an old project that has a very viable product with very reliable team.

We can't judge them by the value because that whatever status they are now is the same thing that is affecting the rest of the coins that we have in the market, so if we are looking at coins that will survive this storm of altcoins, Litecoin will absolutely be one of the coins that will, so we should; never play with investment in these coins so that we don’t end up regretting in the future.
3730  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: MONERO - $2500 on: September 11, 2019, 08:41:08 AM
Maybe before we think of ridiculous prices and meaningless numbers we should focus on the immediate future that we can all envision. Monero is badly undervalued. We all agree. But it also has suffered a little from people leaving (good for us) because they lost hope. We need to really make using it big again. Not to hide but to promote privacy.
I think that people who are living monero for good are not doing so temporarily, many of us know how important this privacy coin is and the role it has really played in the market, which people will forever be grateful for its role and they will forever be with the project provided that we don’t have any other privacy coins that will create a hype that will divide people's attention.

People only withdrew their money from coins like this to join the train of bitcoin, and they are glad they did, once bitcoin can go on bull run, you know that some of these coins will tend to go down a little bit, the moment that bitcoin goes sideways is when they will recover their profit form bitcoin and then pump into coins like monero which will always be among the options of people when they consider altcoin to invest in then.
3731  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Xrp Price low what Reasons? on: September 11, 2019, 08:00:07 AM
xrp is slowly dying bro due to some big investors that gradually declined it, wherein because also of being have many issues and especially the potentials within is getting worse. Indeed there's a lot of good coin emerge after XRP, which is probably investors preferred to switch just to accumulate few dollars rather than staying on it because it's very stagnant and there's no future on it.
Don’t be deceived too bro by xrp investors, there was never a big investors, xrp team which has been majorly bankers has bee the big investor of the coin itself and that is why they are not growing, they are not even growing for them to die, and since the team behind it is rich enough to continue to sustain it at the level that it is now, they might not really go down.

But one thing that I am very sure of is that they will never grow more than this because they don’t have much big external investor and they don’t have much average investor neither, the few investors that they have are those that just chose to be deceived by the system which is nothing to many people because I don't see what xrp really is useful for at all. There are more important coin to pay attention to.
3732  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIBA Basketball World Cup 2019 on: September 10, 2019, 04:31:49 PM
My guesses would be : USA beating France easily, Serbia will have hard time but will probably beat Argentina, Australia will beat Chezchia and Spain will beat Poland. Some of them are closer than the others and some are really hard to figure out.

For example, I am pretty certain that USA will beat France, and Spain will beat Poland, those are looking like sure fire bets however when it comes to Chezchia versus Australia, normally Australia is much better team and they have been playing greatly so far, yet Checzhia was looked down upon and was guessed to not even move out of the group stages yet they are here in quarter finals so I don't know what could happen.

Same with Serbia versus Argentina, it will be the rematch of 2002 which would be really fired up game, Serbia is certainly the better team and will want to win after the Spain upset but Argentina is not a bad team neither.
3733  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How Often Do you Bet on Politics? on: September 10, 2019, 02:22:04 PM
I remember seeing Hillary Clinton at 1.4x odds as next president of the U.S. for the longest time, thinking to myself that was easy money all day long. But I never actually bet on it, and now I'm glad I didn't, of course! Don't think I've ever been so wrong about something in my entire life. That's why I don't bet on politics.

The odd thing was, the site I was looking at didn't even have odds for Donald Trump, just "Republican Candidate." I guess Trump was too much of a wildcard.
I think that particular election had the highest number of gambling participants. Everyone taught it was a very good chance of making money, no one saw Trump coming at all. I had a bet on it, though not an online bet, but it involved a whole lot of money and I lost.

I don’t have regrets anyway because I understand that gambling is just that way and the worse thing with that bet, was the way everyone believed the election would be in favor of Hillary Clinton.

I don’t bet very of often, I only participated in the election between Trump and Hilary and that was my first and last bet on politics.
3734  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which Sport Has Many Gambling Supporters (State Your Opinion) on: September 10, 2019, 01:29:32 PM
People unanimously vote for soccer for obvious, there are billions of people in this sports and it's the world's most popular sports, and there are a lot of betting sites for soccer, the next one is boxing it's not really that very popular but there are so many gamblers are very much into betting boxing.

Soccer is even gaining popularity in America as baseball is starting to die.  Football / soccer truly is the global sport.
I believe its lucrativeness is probably the reason why it has a lot of supporters like it has and another thing I see is that soccer is a game that is widely accepted. There are some games that are not common in some parts of the world because it is not practiced. For instance, basketball, there are a lot of countries where basketball is not being played because of height barrier. It’s not like they don’t like the game but because basketball is better for those with a certain height and this is not the same in soccer.

Soccer is played in all parts of the world and this is the reason there is world cup and whenever it is being played, it seems as though everyone in the world are all seated to watch.
3735  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Season on: September 10, 2019, 06:33:02 AM
There are reasons why people retire and depending on your reason you can make a comeback but usually you can't. For example, Michael retired while he was still young, I mean he came back but even on his latest retirement he was 40, which is not really that high for someone as talented as Michael Jordan but even he didn't played that awesome during that time, I mean surely he was much much better than 95%+ of the players and probably still better than some of the others as well but compared to who he was he wasn't as good as he used to be. Same with Magic, he wasn't retired because of his age, he retired because of AIDS and when he came back he wasn't that old but he didn't played that well neither. If you get retired because you are old, than you will most likely better stay retired.
3736  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🐺WOLF.BET - Provably fair dice game 🎲 $1,000 Daily Race💰7-day streak bonus🔥 on: September 10, 2019, 06:10:46 AM
Wolf.bet is known and liked by many people? how do you think like that? even wolf.bet is still classified as a gambling site that just released a few months. Maybe wolf.bet has been known because they previously had a signature campaign and have announced here, but to be known is not enough, they have to defend their name here, if they have a signature campaign it means members here trust wolf.bet that they are still alive and trusted.

As an example of signature campaign that you use, isn't LiveCoin much older than wolf.bet?Isn't livecoin famous for case yesterday, then why do you still use livecoin signature? Isn't there already a livecoin affilate program that you think is far better than a signature.
Well, simply because they have been here all the time and growing in numbers constantly? Look at the wager contests for example, this week has been 1.29 for the winner, just couple weeks ago we ended with 0.52 btc total (okay I will agree that last week was 1.52 but week before that was 0.52) so that means there is an increasing number of interest for the races and we can totally see that as going up for the weeks after this as well, in a month I am expecting it to be over 2 btc easily.

I am not saying its as big as stake but it has a growing interest from people easily. When you get known enough, affiliates are enough, there are many casinos who are known and do not have signature campaigns, I think just affiliates would be enough if they give away enough % of the earnings.
3737  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why haven't governments illegalized bitcoin transactions? on: September 10, 2019, 05:35:05 AM
I don't see any reason for governments to illegalize Bitcoin.
It doesn't break any laws.
"Bitcoin is just an alternative economy and ideally people should be able to exchange goods in alternative economy if they so choose."
So governments should leave Bitcoin alone.
There are so many benefits of bitcoin to the government which they know also, but some of them just chose to reject the truth because they know it would eliminate the level of corruption in their financial system, and also give power more to the citizens than them, and they try everything possible just to fight the implementation of the bitcoin scheme.

Most of the government that likes to be transparent with their citizens has surely seen it as benefits to their government and they have started to regulate the system to the cryptocurrency to align with their own rule of operation, and what I expected some of these big countries to do is to follow example since they cannot lay down example for some of these smaller ones that have accepted bitcoin.
3738  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin scammer caught tortured and killed. on: September 08, 2019, 06:02:59 PM
i am okay with the brutal beating and torture but not with the killing. i wish to know where that happened and what the government made as judgement for the killer. that is a lesson for scammers too, they should know they are playing on some people's temperament and intelligence. the dupe is quite huge.

They never intended to murder him. They asked him to reveal the password to his Bitcoin wallet and the torture started when he refused to comply. As per their version, he lost consciousness during the torture sessions and could not be revived despite medical assistance. Obviously, I wouldn't trust their version of the events that much. A lot of unanswered questions are there.

And to put it honestly, these guys didn't had much of a choice. Filing a civil lawsuit in India is quite useless (as I found out many times during my business dealings in India). The legal proceedings can go on for many decades, and during this time the accused will be completely free, enjoying his life in luxury. In most cases, the only viable solution is to reach a mutually agreeable deal outside the court.
What are you saying man, are you justifying their action, they all engaged in a wrong action and what they would have done is take it easy and with wisdom look for how to get the money, or if they have to do him anything wrong, the highest they would do is to report him secretly to the authority and let authority take control of the whole situation, at least they will not lose alone, they will both loose together, but even now, they have lost out eventually because they are now a murderer, and the murdered one has already died with the wallet password which they will not be able to revive again.

So, is that not penny wise palm foolish? I guess it was actually their right time for nemesis to catch up with them because of their worn doing, all of them together.
3739  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Antiviruses on: September 08, 2019, 05:10:22 PM
Kaspersky is much more better and  I love this one. I have been using that one as well.
I think most of these antiviruses are just deceiving us and claiming they are catching viruses for us meanwhile they are not, if you use Kaspersky today and it tells you that your system is free of virus, uninstall it and install avast, you will see that avast will detect a virus for you.

The only one that I have seen that has been quite very effective for me and not even as expensive as all these other ones that I mentioned is total 360, I think this one was specifically designed for those string and stubborn virus that can steal our information from us and probably use it to steal our money if the information can lead to money theft. If I am therefore to recommend any antivirus to anyone, I think it would be total 360, you guys can try that one out and see its effectiveness.
3740  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: All Hail King Bitcoin: Why BTC Remains #1 on: September 08, 2019, 03:45:52 PM
Bitcoin is a king, like a country, the founder of that country is always considered the king and maybe if bitcoin is deposed, everything will turn to a new page!
If bitcoin is disposed and people allowed it, majority of us will go back to square one, square one in the sense that we will not be able to make that easy transactions again for our businesses, without involving people like swift, PayPal and most of these expensive money agents, secondly, our transactions will not be easy to make across the bother.

Ever since bitcoin has been in existence, it has been quite easy for people to make transactions across border without much barrier, and that was intention of bitcoin even though we have many people like drug dealers who are using it for illegal activities, but normally, it is meant to make things a bit easier for business people for them to be able to make payment to other of their suppliers easily.
