381  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Mining with a Technobit Hex4M in cgminer on: February 24, 2015, 01:50:17 AM
I found a version of cgminer called "dice version" (I think its on technobits website). It seems to be capable of detecting when the miner gets below a gh's threshold and it resets itself.

So far in the last hour or so its reset itself and the miner 18 times.

Heh.. It just reset again.

Try these setting:
Code:
"hexminerm-options" : "4:1024",
"hexminerm-voltage" : "820",
"hexminerm-chip-mask" : "15",
"hexminerm-hw-err-res" : "50",
"hexminerm-nonce-timeout-secs" : "20",
"hexminerm-pic-roll" : "90",
"hexminerm-reset-below-threshold" : "10",
"hexminerm-reset-wait" : "600",

Interim Summary:
(I want to know if we're all on the same point. Smiley )

The deadline set by us has passed.
For my part I have received a shipment ID from technobit.eu.
But this ID I cant confirm , neither at DPD nor at Speedy.
I'm waiting on this day , in the course of the day I 'm going to try several times to confirm the shipment ID.
Has anyone not received a shipment ID except soulistyce?
Can anyone confirm his shipment ID?

You can ask speedy about the tracking id from: http://www.speedy.bg/begin.php?page=spd_Opinions&lang=en
384  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Mining with a Technobit Hex4M in cgminer on: February 23, 2015, 09:07:25 AM
I'm having zero luck getting this thing to work for longer than 10 minutes. I've followed the thorough setup guide here and the one on technobits site. No matter what changes I make to cgminer's config file the miner goes dead within 10 minutes or so. I've tried other pc's, different usb ports, different cables, powered hubs, non powered hubs, nothing....

Anyone here have one working in cgminer mind posting their config files text?

Thanks!

What is your setting on config file?
Try using TPLINK TL-MR3020 as a host. Check if the heatsink touch the chips correctly.
385  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: S5 and SP20 sold out on: February 23, 2015, 04:06:17 AM
So anyone know whats going on? Everything is sold out everywhere.

Bitmain is on holiday cause of Chinese New Year. Once the holidays over, i bet it's will available again.
386  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: ANTMINER U3 Discussion and Support Thread on: February 23, 2015, 02:35:44 AM

Did the zadig process run correctly?
And don't forget to give power to your miner.

Hello and thank you for the reply.  Yes, everything was configured and setup correctly, my problem was two-fold:

1.  cgminer 4.9.1 will not recognize the U3 no matter what, but v4.9.0 does just fine.
2.  I restrict outgoing traffic thru my firewall and had to open the proper port to allow my machine to talk to the pool it was trying to connect with.

I am happy to report that I am now mining! Smiley

Nice. Maybe CK forget something on 4.9.1  Cheesy

...........

You're right...
Maybe it is just a little transistor or resistor, i will try to identify it, but i have'nt seen any burn mark on the board.

Is marto74 offering a kind of warranty on this ? Cheesy

There is warranty, but i am not sure how long the warranty period  Cheesy
389  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [Guide] Dogie's Comprehensive Bitmain Antminer S3 Setup [HD] on: February 22, 2015, 11:55:16 PM
. I happened to sabotage the beeper on the board on antminer s3. assuming that the beeper will stop working and everything else will be fine ... but that was not the case .. looks like it is not mining at all now .

Does anyone know the model number of the beeper that is being used .. so that I can buy one and solder it back .

I guess any similar size buzzer will work.
390  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] Technobit HEX8A1 -240 GHs Coincraft A1 board- Finished production on: February 22, 2015, 11:49:55 PM
...........................

I have unplug the board last night, and replug it this morning, without any result. The board is not hot at all. There is absolutely no burn mark on the board.

Here is the CGMiner API log (a few minutes after a restart of tplink) (for information, error rate is 0 because of tplink reboot; after many hours i have never seen error rate over 0.1%, most of the times it is between 0.01 and 0.08) :

..............

Try change the frequency to 230 or 240 & the voltage to 1000. If the board still not hashing, then that board is ruined.

Still not hashing at 230/1000 and 240/1000...

Is it possible that only one A1 chip is dead ? In this case, maybe i can still use it with the good chip mask.

From your first cgminer api log, all chip is not hashing. So chips mask not gonna work.

392  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] Technobit HEX8A1 -240 GHs Coincraft A1 board- Finished production on: February 22, 2015, 11:53:57 AM
Hi all,

I have a problem with an HEX8A1 board.

I have two HEX8A1 boards. I have change the fans since it was way too noisy, and i use a 220/920 setting. The two boards are linked to a TPlink router with openwrt ("OpenWrt Barrier Breaker r40295", i think it is a 0.3.0) through an USB hub. All (tplink and boards, hub is not externally powered) are powered with the same Corsair CX760.

This was working like a charm for the last 6 months. But since two days now, one of the board is not hashing anymore.

Everything looks fine, the board is seen by cgminer, when i plug/unplug it i can see the board disappearing/reappearing, but the hashrate is always 0. The second board is working and hashing. The led are the same on the two boards.

I have tried to plug only one board, i have tried 210/860, i have change the usb port, i have plug the faultly board directly to the TPlink, i have reset settings to 260/1000, but nothing worked.

I don't think it is a overheat problem, cause the fans are identicall on the two boards, and with those fans and settings the boards seems cooler than with the noisy sunon and 260/1000 settings (i can put my finger on the it for more than 10s Wink). Moreover, i have a very very low error rate, and i did not change anything on the configuration for the last 6 months (and the room is at 18°).

Any idea ?
How can i see if it is a overheat problem ?

Seem like hardware problem. Try to let the board cool down for few hours, check if there is any hardware burn mark. Then try again. Then please post cgminer api log.
393  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: How to upgrade TPLINK TL-MR3020 firmware to technobit openwrt on: February 22, 2015, 10:25:02 AM
Thanks for the guide.
Juste a question : i have an old version of openwrt ("OpenWrt Barrier Breaker r40295"), i think it is a 0.3.0. It is working very well, but i'm using a DHCP configuration.
I want to update to 0.4.0, should i change network mode to static configuration ?
When i'm going to the "Network/interfaces" screen, and i select "static", i cannot immediately set the new address, i must click on a "Switch protocol" button. If i click, will it not reset the address immediately, making the tplink not acessible ?

No, no need to change to static if you want to upgrade to 0.4.0. Just uncheck the save setting option. After upgrade, the default ip is 192.168.0.99.
0.4.0 come with static option, but do not change to DHCP  Smiley
394  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: ANTMINER U3 Discussion and Support Thread on: February 22, 2015, 08:56:08 AM
Just got a U3, my first piece of ASIC gear.  Installed and configured it correctly w/driver and zadig.  Downloaded latest cgminer (4.9.1), ran cgminer with the following:
cgminer.exe -o stratum+tcp://solo.ckpool.org:3333 -u MYADDRESS.0 -p xx3

No Devices Detected!

Any suggestions?  Thank you.

Did the zadig process run correctly?
And don't forget to give power to your miner.

395  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: ANTMINER S3+ Discussion and Support Thread on: February 22, 2015, 08:43:13 AM
Just got my S3+ in tonight, hooked it up and for some reason it simply isn't hashing. I've tried setting it up with Slush's pool and BAN and nothing. My S2 was a breeze compared to this thing. For the power supply I have a corsair cx750m so it should have plenty of power. Anyone have any suggestions?

Wrong network setting. Please post the screen shot of your S3 network setting.
396  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Cell phone internet? on: February 22, 2015, 04:48:07 AM
Is it possible to use a cell phone to connect miners in a remote location???

If so....How???

No. You will need usb modem & 3G/4G router like TPLINK TL-MR3020.
397  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Very low mining rate on: February 21, 2015, 09:41:42 AM
I recently built a PC for gaming that's equipped with an EVGA 1GB GDDR5 740 GT. I got GUI Miner set up and my account with Slush running. I started mining and I'm only getting 55 mhash/s. I've heard of the old 9800gt's getting more. And yeah, I know I won't be making much or maybe anything, but I just wanted to try it out. The question is is that rate normal for my card?

GPU mining era already end. You just wasting your power.
Nowaday you need asics miner.
398  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: No reward? on: February 21, 2015, 09:28:48 AM
I had my PC on for 36 hours on Slush's Pool with an account I created 2 years ago. After checking out the "Rewards" tab on their website, it says I have no unconfirmed mBTC. I had over 10k shares. Is this correct?

What kind of miner did you use?
Please post the screen shot of the miner software.
399  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: AntMiner U3 and cgminer on: February 16, 2015, 01:09:59 AM
Hi

... so I was sitting next to the Antmine when suddenly I heard this sound ... hmmm, hmmm, ewreeee, hmmm ...
a quick check of the /var/log/messages revealed that the USB port was making trouble and constantly trying to disconnect and reconnect.

As mentioned before, I've the device connected to a Banana-Pi wich eventually seem to have more power distribution problems than just the Harddrive.
So now I connected the Miner to my storrage system (AMD E450 running CentOS 7)

(Stats to be posted here in in couple of hours Wink )

So currently I only discourage you to use the Banan-Pi in combination with the Antminer U3 for stable mining  Undecided

EDIT: It's worse ... I now encounter the same USB errors on my other Linux Box ...

Code:
