381  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: bitcoin fees and how we accept its volatility on: January 04, 2024, 09:00:42 PM
from this it can be concluded that changing bitcoin fees should not be an obstacle to bitcoin adoption.  For those who transact Bitcoin with small amounts, it's a good idea to pay attention to the time because you will definitely find the best time to process your Bitcoin transactions.
I won't agree with you. Changing Bitcoin fees is an obstacle to real adoption. We are unable to use Bitcoin as a payment method when fees increase. We can't wait to see when fees will be reduced and then make the transaction. For investors, fees won't be a factor; they will make transactions when fees are reasonable. But the real Bitcoin goal is to create a global payment solution without centralised involvement, where we are failing due to high fees. I tried a week ago to make a payment to Namechap, where I needed $17 in transaction fees to transfer $50. So it's clearly unrealistic and an obstacle to real adoption.
382  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you actually think a Bitcoin ETF will be accepted this month? on: January 04, 2024, 08:49:25 PM
The US doesn't force any of their institutions to do something out of their minds. So the SEC Chair, Gensler, isn't under any pressure at all. He could decide whatever he wanted. Since he personally hates Bitcoin, he is constantly delaying Bitcoin ETF approval. I believe Gensler still hasn't decided anything but wants to collaborate. The court hasn't forced him to approve ETF; the court just says there is no restriction if the SEC wants to approve it. So at all points, the Bitcoin ETF fully depends on SEC Chair Gensler. There are rumours that we may get ETF approval news very soon or this week. I wish it could happen.
383  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: One more filed smear campaign against Bitcoin on: January 04, 2024, 07:45:15 PM
I know a few influencers are even saying Bitcoin ETF approval would be a selling event as well. So I was expecting a sell-off after ETF approval. But surprisingly, yesterday the dump happened, and I was looking for reasons. In the end, I haven't found anything except massive liquidation. The market still remains bullish, and we are seeing how Bitcoin is almost recovering right now. A lot of predictors are saying we may see ETF approval in the first week of this month. So I believe we will see the good news very soon. We have to wait with patience; we need to just ignore things like FUD and don't panic.
384  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Buying accounts directly or using crypto prepaid VCC for card-only accounts? on: January 03, 2024, 08:44:31 PM
I think you may try a Bit store virtual card for your subscription. They don't ask KYC for a virtual card if you don't request a physical card. I haven't used it yet but found it through Binance Marketplace. I have been using a RedotPay virtual card where I need to verify KYC to order a virtual card. Since you too care about privacy, then it's not for you. Bit Store would be helpful somehow. Do your own diligence before using it; I am not experiencing their card.
385  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Am I Too Broke To Own Bitcoin? on: January 03, 2024, 08:26:57 PM
Bitcoin for life, not to hold a lifetime. If your dream is big, then you should hold on until you reach your goal. But if you need to sell bitcoin to survive, then nothing is wrong. It doesn't matter if you are selling bear or bull, but the fact is, you shouldn't sell at a loss. If you need to sell at a loss to survive, then try to buy back with the DCA strategy. Try to accumulate a dip with your savings. Your earnings aren't bad; try to manage not to sell your bitcoin. Then, once a day, your dream would come true. But I will say, don't over-expect from Bitcoin.
386  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why is bitcoin stability important? on: January 03, 2024, 08:17:50 PM
Bitcoin is most popular due to its volatility; we can't expect Bitcoin without volatility. To grow solid altcoins, it's not necessary to stabilise Bitcoin. They would grow with Bitcoin at the same time. What makes you think Bitcoin needs to be stable to grow as an altcoin? On the market, even Bitcoin dumped today, and a few altcoins are pumping hard. So altcoins haven't waited for stable Bitcoin. If there is no volatility on Bitcoin, then traders won't make money, and we may lose the big volume.
387  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: CoinMarketCap CMC listing problem on: January 03, 2024, 06:27:19 PM
You probably paid a so-called CMC listing agent; those are fake. For CMC priority listing, you have to apply officially, and you have to verify the application as authentic through your official social media profile. After that, CMC will contact you through official mail for the next step, like accepting pricing terms and conditions. When you fulfil their conditions, they will provide you with a payment invoice. Once you pay, your project should be listed within 24 hours. I have listed many projects myself. Just make sure you haven't been deceived by a scammer.
388  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Campaign a cheap DCA method. on: January 02, 2024, 08:19:01 PM
The forum rank doesn't matter when you want to contribute to the forum. After the implementation of the merit system, the forum rank determines how you contributed to the forum. And of course, it does sometimes help earn money from the campaign. But all Legendary members aren't interested in earning as well. So you don't need to think much about the rank. Your contribution to the forum will determine your rank. However, the DCA strategy is a popular strategy for accumulating bitcoin. Since we don't know the exact dip, we may follow the DCA strategy to accumulate.
389  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: RedotPay Crypto Virtual Card & Pysical card. on: January 02, 2024, 07:43:48 PM
Not true, there is no overprice compared with cards you purchased, there is no need for any subscription, and it's 100% less hassle than doing bloody kyc, but hey do whatever you want Wink
Let them do whatever they want with KYC, because for centralised exchanges and for a few more services, KYC has been used. I know they aren't trusted enough yet to provide them with KYC, but it seems they used a third party for KYC verification, which is not very complicated either. However, I had no way to solve my issue, which was solved by RedotPay for now. I found a better solution, but crypto is not supported there. So for now, I will use it until they scam or discontinue service. I never add big funds there. Just add a small amount and spend it instantly. I don't encourage anyone to use it anyway. This is an option for those who live in jurisdictions where a crypto card is complicated to get. So far, I haven't found any virtual card services, except RedotPay, that support my jurisdiction.
390  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Did anyone else know there is an Insured BTC wallet? on: January 02, 2024, 07:28:14 PM
Isn't it better to insure my 100% holding? Even though it's 1000 BTC, it is insured by my bank. I just need to make sure my key is secured. Are you wondering how? Yes, it's my own bank, which is called a cold wallet or hardware wallet, which is non-custodial and open source. So why do I need to search for anything that I don't know? Why should I search for a custodial service? Though I don't trust custodial wallets, Binance-insured funds called SAFU. I don't know the amount, but it seems they fully refill wallets in the event of any incident. So use your own bank, called Cold, or hardware wallet.
391  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How many individual holders of Bitcoin are there? on: January 02, 2024, 07:18:39 PM
Ask yourself. How many Bitcoin addresses do you have? I believe I have generated more than 100 Bitcoin addresses. And most of them are used, and a few are blanked. So how could we assume how many humans are Bitcoin holders? There is absolutely no way to predict or identify real human holders. A merchant uses a lot of addresses on the payment gateway, but it's a human or company. Any tool can't identify the address owner; hence, it's impossible to count how many humans are holding Bitcoin.
392  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: earn from Bitcoin on: December 31, 2023, 08:08:50 PM
I am sorry to see you joined the forum for earning purposes, so it will be hard for earning, of course. We are all struggling to earn, and everyone wants to earn. But this is the only forum where you can learn. This forum isn't affiliated with any kind of earning method. However, you can freelance from here in various ways, like through signature campaigns and by selling your skills. But those have become very hard nowadays. I will advise you to spend more time on the forum learning about crypto currency. So day by day, you can develop yourself and know how to earn. Otherwise, you will just waste your time here if you just seek to earn. You need to invest in order to earn either money or time. Like for trading, you need funds; to sell your skill, you need time.
393  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto and the Masses on: December 31, 2023, 08:00:58 PM
If you expect adoption to be magic, then it won't happen at all. The mass won't be applicable for cryptocurrency adoption since we need institutional and government support. As a general citizen, we are adopting Bitcoin, and we can see the result. Day by day, the number of cryptocurrency users has been increasing worldwide. Still, most of the country stands against Bitcoin and use of any kind of cryptocurrency. They don't believe in decentralisation, where they can't control cryptocurrency. So usually, the government doesn't need Bitcoin; they are just thinking of making their native fiat stronger instead.
394  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Buying and Losing My First Bitcoin on: December 31, 2023, 07:50:54 PM
I learned about Bitcoin through so-called revenue-sharing sites when I was a beginner. That time, I wasn't aware that revenue-sharing sites were just Ponzi schemes. However, there was a Bitcoin payment system from which I was interested and learned about Bitcoin. So yes, surprisingly, I also lost my first Bitcoin investment as well. Though I wasn't a loser when I invested through fiat like Payza or Perfect Money, I was just lost when I started investing through Bitcoin, and I learned they were actually scammers. So I left all kinds of Ponzi investments and started learning about cryptocurrency.
395  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC unconfirmed transactions exceed 500k on mempool on: December 31, 2023, 07:37:19 PM
The current network is congested because of BRC-20 tokens. This is the reason why Bitcoin is walking away from its real goal. I tried a few days ago to make a Bitcoin payment where transaction fees became $17 to make a $50 transaction. So how will we make Bitcoin payments and use it as a payment method? Most likely now, stable coins would be popular payment methods instead of Bitcoin due to the high fees. We always blame Ethereum for high transaction fees, but lately Bitcoin transaction fees surpass Ethereum transaction fees. I hope developers will find a solution for that. Still, LN isn't very popular worldwide.
396  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Could it be possible of isolating proud in Bitcoin during advertisement on: December 31, 2023, 07:24:26 PM
I am pretty confused. What do you mean by being proud here? Do you want to hide yourself even though you advertise related Bitcoin? And advertise online or in real life? It depends on how you are advertising Bitcoin. If you want to advertise something related to Bitcoin, then you may hide yourself in various ways. Based on the advertising platform, you have to find specific solutions. If you want to advertise in real life and Bitcoin is legal in your jurisdiction, then you can still hide yourself by hiring a marketing team who will advertise on your behalf.
397  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin as a Replacement for a College Savings Plan on: December 29, 2023, 08:50:14 PM
Where have you found companies that haven't asked for college degrees? I just heard it the first time. They must ask for an educational certificate based on your job position. I don't believe that without an educational degree, you can get a job. Thanks to God, I am doing freelancing where I don't need any educational certificates. However, Bitcoin savings are always good if you can afford them. It must be for a long time if you like the DCA strategy or like traditional weekly or monthly investments from your savings. At the end of your life, when you retire, your Bitcoin savings will be substantial.
398  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Must you lose before you gain in Bitcoin investment? on: December 29, 2023, 08:31:26 PM
I am not sure how lucky you are. Most investors lose at the beginning due to a lack of knowledge. This is actually normal; you have to understand the investment strategy. During the internship, you may face losses, and you have to accept them, but if you are lucky, you may gain from the beginning as well. It depends on market movements when you are going to invest. That's why it's advisable to invest a small amount at the beginning and learn. Any kind of cryptocurrency investment is quite risky; invest what you can afford to lose.
399  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: Trezor Safe 3 New Hardware Wallet on: December 29, 2023, 07:17:21 PM
It seems I am unlucky. I pre-ordered Trezor Safe-3, and they delivered it through UPS. I have checked the tracking number, which has marked delivered but I haven't received anything yet.
This must be ''magic'' of delivery services... only in very rear cases they work like swiss clocks.  Tongue
I don't understand how UPS can report something to be delivered if it is not, but your issue could be related with holiday season or with your specific location.
There are few people I know who ordered Trezor 3 and they received it fairly quickly, after waiting a bit longer for package to be sent by Trezor.
I think location isn't an issue here. I have been receiving my online orders at this address. I have included my mobile number too, so they might call me as well. UPS support isn't responding at all. I hope to get a refund from Trezor. They sent me a letter today and attached a form to sign about the lost parcel. I have to wait for redundancy. Likely, I will order from another country where my friend is staying. He had ordered before and received it as well. Let's see what happens. I will update here on what's happened eventually.
400  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: RedotPay Crypto Virtual Card & Pysical card. on: December 29, 2023, 06:14:13 PM
You are naive if you think that your government won't find out that you purchased a new virtual card with your submitted documents issued by the same government.
They can find I know. But they can't prevent me from spending foreign cards issued by foreign banks. Because when I intend to use a international debit card then it have to endorsed by bank with my passport and has a limit of $10K USD. Because I am spending funds from my country's reserve, they set a limit on how much I can withdraw or spend abroad. I don't how to explain you since you didn't face this kind of issues. I have to show my source of income where I can't show it since I am earning cryptocurrency if I spend much. They won't ask questions on a foreign card even they know I am using it. Because I am earning from abroad and spending abroad.

I am not wrong about this, and I already posted several alternatives that I used personally.
Do a bit better research and you will see that me and few other members already discussed about this subject in forum, and I think there are one or two active topics.
I won't encourage anyone to use them. I just shared the option that I have been using. I know we can buy some temporary virtual cards from the marketplace, but we also have to pay an overprice. It's a hassle when I need regular subscriptions and so on.
