381  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Let's hope Bitcoin forks a lot and fast on: November 01, 2017, 10:36:59 AM
i am not sure what you are trying to suggest with your "clone" idea but in general forks like what we have seen so far (BTG and BCH) are not good as you may think. it is true that we can get free money from them just by holding bitcoin but they create uncertainty in the market, they can even cause harm to bitcoin and bitcoin holders. for example these forks don't have proper programmers and are not properly tested. something like BTG may lead to a lot of funds lost by users and businesses if they make mistakes of trying to claim them.
not to mention forks like BCH harm bitcoin by taking the hashrate away when they pump it or unnaturally reduce the difficulty!
382  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What Alt's might make the most profit after SegWit2x ? on: November 01, 2017, 08:02:15 AM
most probably the small altcoins which have small market caps and small prices. there are a couple of them already rising these days and each get pumped real hard.

if i had to guess, i would choose anything with a low price but a big potential of rising. they get pumped much easier than the big ones because the profit is obviously more and the resistance is not at all like the big ones.
383  Economy / Speculation / Re: CME and CBOE to List BTC Futures on: November 01, 2017, 07:46:27 AM
there will be a lot more news like this in the future.
i said this many months ago back when Japan started adopting bitcoin. they started a big movement for bitcoin and many other countries will follow even if it is slow. the first to add bitcoin markets like this was Japan too.
now everyone will continue to follow their footsteps. it is this or they will fall behind from the rest of the world as they advance in the newest technology.
384  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: All ICOs Banned in South Korea on: November 01, 2017, 07:29:48 AM
Bitcoin Falters as South Korea Follows China By Banning ICO. What do you think about this.

They're not banning Bitcoin but ICOs, the reason to this is they're making their own crypto currency and ICOs will make future sabotage according to them. To maintain a sovereign assets relies on their financial stability hence adapting an ICO or tolerating exchange for different Altcoins will cripple their own crypto.

they ban ICOs because of multiple different reasons and all the countries share these reasons.

one of them is the fact that initial coin offerings are a type of fund raising to get a very large amount of money for a (so called) company that is not registered or in other words exists illegally and is receiving a lot of money!

the other reason is obviously taxes! these so called companies do not pay taxes and government sees no easy way to tax them either.

there is also always money laundering too. you run a fake ICO, put your money in it. you'll get easy laundered money.
385  Economy / Speculation / Re: Investing in Eth and Btc on: October 31, 2017, 01:16:25 PM
Eth is a much better investment at this point IMO. Or you can go invest in worthy ICOs. Just do proper research. The BTCBTCBTC ship has sailed already and the potential isn't too rewarding anymore.

well people have been expecting that for years and saying bitcoin ship has sailed then bitcoin price went from $200 to $400. then they said it again when the halving happened and were also saying miners will quit and bitcoin will die. then price went up to $700. then they said bitcoin is dead and ship has sailed becauase there is a backlog and they pumped ETH to $500+ but bitcoin went up to $2000.
then as people were still saying ship has sailed, price went to $4000 but ETH was falling after its pump.
then they said bitcoin is a bubble and the ship has sailed. but it went to $5000 and ETH fell to $300.
then as everyone was again saying ship has sailed price went to $6000 and ETH still struggles to keep the $290-$300 price up.

so good luck.
386  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Betting on the price falling on: October 31, 2017, 12:51:40 PM
The price is going to crash back down to under $2,000, mark my words. I do not know exactly when it will happen, but my estimate is before the New Year, guaranteed. If you think about it that would make a lot of sense since everyone will want to sell it to buy gifts and stuff for the holiday season. Although I have a feeling that Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies in general will possibly be the hottest gift too.

if you were a brand new account i would have said he has not been around to know but as someone who owns a legendary account you have been around for enough time to know that is not true.

each year people make the same prediction about "selling to buy stuff before new years" but each year it never happens. sometimes there is a little dip because of other reasons but in general people never "sell their investment to buy new year stuff". they use their fiat, their salary and bonus,... to do that.

besides, you have new year. some part of the world have  their new year in another month like China for example. and bitcoin is global!
387  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: who hate altcoins ;) on: October 31, 2017, 12:37:03 PM
anyone who hates altcoins is not a trader otherwise they would have loved them.

there is no need to hate them, i agree that ETH and most of the coins that created on it are absolute craps but that never stopped me from earning more bitcoin from them. the bitcoin that i so love Wink

besides not all the altcoins are bad. there are still good projects out there. the small ones that usually are not even in the news or nobody talks about them.
388  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [DOGE] Dogecoin looks ready for a little gamble on: October 31, 2017, 11:38:06 AM
Dogecoin is both dangerous and profitable a the same time because of how low its price is.
with coins that have high prices you can always prevent big losses by selling at a smaller price and it takes enough time to reach your stop loss. but with coins like Doge that have low prices, you will be risking a lot. 1 satoshi difference means a big chuck of your money lost and at the same time a big profit it if is rising.

with that said, Doge has been silent for a while which means maybe it can rise now.
389  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should I sell my airdropped tokens quickly or hold on to them? on: October 31, 2017, 11:29:46 AM
It appears that a lot of people are selling their airdropped tokens as soon as they get them.

you already have the answer in this sentence Wink

when talking about price, it is all a speculation. and when you speculate a lot of people will be selling what they get, that simply means price will drop inevitably. selling in this case is a no brainier.
besides, if you are so worried about missing out on the afterwards rise, then just buy back.
390  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why ETHER is not moving any where? on: October 31, 2017, 11:12:49 AM
well, it is moving quite a lot actually. i am surprised you say this.

but the reason why it has not yet made any "significant" move for some time is that currently ETH is at a stage where new ICOs are being created every day (a lot of them) so there is still the same fake demand for ETH tokens. but at the same time there is a large dumping going on which prevents any kind of rise. it is some kind of equilibrium right now.

if the ICO thing stops, ETH will plunge hard.
391  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why is it impossible for an altcoin to overtake Bitcoin market cap? on: October 31, 2017, 10:53:22 AM
bitcoin's market cap is only 102 billion dollar and since gaining market cap is super easy for altcoins but it is extremely hard for bitcoin, they indeed can catch up with bitcoin and even go above it. and that has already happened with Ripple!

the trick is very simple. you create a shitload of supply of your coin and you will only have to have a very small price, even 1 satoshi can work!

market cap is simply price * supply. that is why ETH is staying on top, because it has 95 million coins whereas bitcoin as 16 million.
392  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC Price Reach $6248 on: October 30, 2017, 01:11:50 PM
I know It's not unexpected. But History tells every High pick to bring a Big Drop.
No, history tells us every high peak has a small correction.
if what you said were true and we had a big drop that meant we never saw a high price ever! it is 2-3 steps forward and 1 step back not 1 step forward and 1-2 steps back!

Quote
Everyone waiting for the drop.
not everyone but many people are always waiting for the drop. not that they do anything with it though! they just wait for it to happen for some weird reason. and they always want a big drop like 50%-70% drop and even if it happens they still don't do anything about it Huh

Looking for Some meaningful thought about Bitcoin Next 7 day's price. It will be very helpful for BTC Community.
at times like this it becomes harder to speculate about bitcoin. we obviously will always have the overall rise. and things such as these forks may temporarily cause some "turbulence" before they go away. the "turbulence" is unpredictable but other than that, you can expect rise right after it.
393  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What is a better investment right now, ETH or LTC? on: October 30, 2017, 12:55:41 PM
It will be a shame to compare ethereum and litecoin. Litecoin is just a clone of bitcoin. There has been no development for 4 years. Ethereum is the best coin no doubt. This whole crypto world, decentralized projects have been created with the help of ethereum.

You are right. The litecoin could not even compete with Bitcoin Cash let alone ETH.

this topic was started back in July and by that time Litecoin was worth about $35 and now it is worth $57. meanwhile ETH is still struggling to keep the $300 up for weeks which it was nearly $400 by that time.

bitcoin cash is being pumped real nice these days, i give you that.

but none of these can compete with real good investments such as pump and dump altcoins. for example VTC was barely $1 1-2 months ago and now it is $5.3 and that is real investment not what is already pumped like ETH, LTC, BCH, and now VTC because it is already pumped.
394  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Other BTC, are you holding any other crypto? on: October 30, 2017, 12:33:40 PM
from what little experience i have gained in about 3 years i can say "holding altcoins" is a big mistake and these past years have proven that to be true. the altcoins never go up in years, they instead go up in a day or a couple of weeks tops. and then they fall, giving room to the next altcoin to rise.

this makes for a very good strategy for traders, whales, to make a good profit out of this market. they invest in one altcoin (pump it) then dump on top and go to the next immediately while newbies are struggling to stay alive in the altcoin that they put aside like used napkin...
395  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin gold electrum wallet. on: October 30, 2017, 12:21:14 PM
BTG has no replay protection either. I would treat your first interaction with BTG as risky, when you import your BTC wallet you're taking a risk with the software you're using, when you make a transaction you're taking a risk that it could be "replayed" on the other blockchain.

The advice I have seen, that I would trust, is to move all your BTC to a new wallet before you touch BTG - that way if something goes wrong the more valuable BTC are already elsewhere in a wallet that will never have anything to do with BTG.

a good suggestion but remember that BTG is not released yet so it  doesn't matter if it has or doesn't have a replay protection! for now only those who kept their coins on exchanges have received their tokens and dumped them at a good price. the rest have to wait until it is actually released.

and they are working on a replay protection like bitcoin cash which works fine so by the time it is released it will have that.
396  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How many $ least can i earn doing bounty or airdrop on: October 30, 2017, 12:10:34 PM
not that much.

it is rare to find any good coin, or project these days and bad/terrible ones never grow that big to give you any decent amount of money in their airdrop. they don't have any potential.

i recently checked out a couple of them. one was giving me (a Hero member) about 0.0005BTC which is about 3 bucks and that required me to download their wallet, sync, request for payment, and then look for somewhere to dump it (there was an unknown exchange) the fee for withdrawing bitcoin was bigger than the reward!
397  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do Bitcoin will be sustainable through the registration of the people? on: October 30, 2017, 12:05:57 PM
Most of the members encourage people, mostly the teenagers to join or register
to bitcoin. So, meaning to say, the more members to join/register, the longer the bitcoin will be sustained.
Is this true?

no, because first of all what you say doesn't make much sense. there is no "join/register to bitcoin"! people get involved or invest or start using bitcoin!

and that is not what "sustains" bitcoin. more people coming in, aka more adoption means price going up, more utilities for example,... but bitcoin will be sustained without new people coming in. it will survive and even continue to rise as those already in will buy more because they know bitcoin is very scarce.
398  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Anyone know why BCH is going up? on: October 29, 2017, 12:15:36 PM
it is simply because people were expecting BCH to be pumped because of SegWit2x right after the bitcoin gold fork happened. so they are acting up on it and buy BCH with their money so the price goes up. it is all speculation.

this will continue this way with a small and slow rise until BCH starts its real pump to enter the bubble and if bitcoin continues having the issues it has today with the spam attack and big backlog, the BCH pump will only grow bigger and bigger.

it is all profit though, i am not complaining. more bitcoin for all of us altcoin traders. let them pump BCH, we should just remember to dump it on top and not hold more than we are supposed to.

sorry but i don't get the correlation between bitcoincash pump and segwit2x fork in november, can you explain me please you point of view on the subject?
thank you

for ages whenever bitcoin has some issue (spam attack and high fees, China saying some shit, ETF being rejected, bitfinex was hacked,...) and there is a small bear market happening, the altcoins take advantage of this and pump hard.

for example you can look for the topics of beginning of this year February and March to see how Dash and Ethereum pumped hard because of bitcoin's big backlog and slow transactions.

we know the S2X thing will bring drama and what better altcoin to pump than bitcoin cash? so the speculation was there already and every pumper in place. and the simple expectation alone means price will be pumped.

there is also what BitcoinNewsMag said above. we all know bitcoin cash is more like an attack on bitcoin. evidence is the EDA that they have implemented in it to make it profitable and alive. so it is logical to think this pump is also an attack.
399  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Sell alts for Bitcoin on: October 29, 2017, 07:47:11 AM
it can technically be a good idea to sell all your altcoins before bitcoin has a fork. then either keep your money as bitcoin or fiat ready to buy bitcoin.

because we have all seen many times in the past that when bitcoin price drops, altcoins follow it harder. so if you have altcoins they may lose a lot of their value. selling in this case is wise.
and when bitcoin has some downtime there will be a bigger rally right afterwards which means you have to join the bitcoin rally before it begins because afterwards it will be late and you miss out. not to mention altcoins will drop during big bitcoin rallies.
400  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Anyone know why BCH is going up? on: October 29, 2017, 07:25:55 AM
