381  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Devin Haney vs Ryan Garcia on April 20 on: March 01, 2024, 09:10:20 PM

That was a long time ago; a lot of things have changed now, and it's not relevant anymore. What is Ryan Garcia trying to deliver here? Does he want to convince the fans that he can beat Haney because he was knocked out by Tank when he was a teenager? Ryan has really done things to gain so much attention, but in the end, he is still the one who suffered a defeat against a great boxer like Haney.

I do agree, it was a long time ago, video shows nothing and as someone says, it's very old as Haney was young during that time and Davis was about to hit his prime and it seems that the crowd around is pro Tank Davis anyway. But I think this is the first time that we will see a fight that both has cross path in the amateurs so they really know each other already, and the record is 3-3. I haven't heard or seen a fight in pro level wherein the boxers have face each other this many times in the amateurs.

Also it will be interesting what will be the numbers here even if the fight is in Barclays, very far from Las Vegas where this two has a lot of fan based.

I'm expecting that it could go on a 1 million PPV buys again for Ryan? Cementing his as the next cash cow?
382  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC Sentiment Poll for March on: March 01, 2024, 08:32:30 PM
It's just the start of the month and after a minor dip, here comes the bulls again with all his might and pushing the price again above $62,000 and 22% in the last 7 days. It's scary to see this numbers, but what can we say? It's a win win for us, whether it will go on a higher ups again and see a new all time high, or there will be a huge drop or reversal. There were even some TA that says a 20%-30% dip is possible.

But I voted for a reversal, not to burst the bubble, but it seems it's hard to maintain this phase as we are not yet in the halving. It looks like FOMO for the outside. But let's see and hope that I'm wrong here.
383  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The Future of Gambling on: February 29, 2024, 10:36:59 PM
I think it would be kinda neat to pop on the Oculus VR headset and be in a virtual casino. It would obviously be more fun if you are betting real money while doing so and enjoying the whole casino experience, but I think people would still have fun even if it was just for virtual currency that holds no value. Maybe that could be a way to get addicted gamblers their fix without betting real money?

I don't know if we can trick our minds even it we are in VR that we are playing with "real money", I'm sure gamblers will know the difference and obviously the feeling will not be the same. But this could really be a trend, I think one thing we can get is that gambling will be more accessible to everyone, might be good or bad depending on how we see it.

And we will have different experience, it will open up possibilities for innovative and creative gaming experiences that go beyond traditional casino games. I just wonder though what will be the regulatory framework in case that VR will be accepted in the future in gambling?
384  Economy / Speculation / Re: The next higher bitcoin price on: February 29, 2024, 10:16:40 PM
for me personally, I'm waiting for it to hit around 78-80k usd$ to be able to proclaim we have made it past the the 2021 ATH.

The reason for this is because of all the inflation we have experienced since then. If you compare a dollar purchase in 2021 to a purchase say in 2024 then ~69kusd$ = ~78kusd$

I would like to say tho that reaching the last ath or the inflation adjusted last ath is not my price target for this bull market, its much much higher. My guesses, and they are total guesses, I dont have a crystal ball or any sooth saying skills, are:

Very Conservative: 110k
Conservative: 138k
Bullish: 170k
Ultra Bullish: 250k

Lets see what happens, keep stacking!

I like this approach, it's like a ladder and then slowly selling your Bitcoin to get that profit. I do agree that even in the bull run we can still go and keep on stacking sats. I had done it before in the last bull run, and regardless of the price of the all time high, it's good to see that your portfolio is growing. It might be tough for some, but if go pass this mentally you are in for a big surprise because it's going to be easy.

So in this case, I will wait and see at the conservative price and range with Ultra Bullish.

I'm also seeing that it's possible to see the price of Bitcoin hitting more than $200,000 if the scenario is ripe for a ultra bullish phase till 2025.
385  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Jason Moloney vs Reymart Gaballo WBO Bantamweight Title (May 12) on: February 29, 2024, 09:55:07 PM
Moloney loves a hard and grind fight, very close and then throwing everything. I think he will try to test Gaballo early with that kind of strategy and see how Raymart will respond. And if that happens, I think Gaballo will have the advantage. Unless Moloney started to fight in the distance and uses his jab and try to avoid the power of Gaballo early. But he is fighting in his country, and I think he will be carried away to fight toe to toe so that he can please his fans. One thing that might go against Gaballo is that if this fight goes on, he might round out of gas which is his weakness. So he should really be 100% condition here, and thinks that it's possible that this fight is going till the last round.

Being in his home turf might give him advantage on this one. Remember, Pacquiao vs. Horn, so if Gaballo wants to win this fight. Better aim for knockout at early rounds. If this will go the distance, Moloney, may possibly win via unanimous or split decision.

Gaballo should aim to win this match for him to wave his flag and redeem the recent losses of his fellow Filipino boxers. I understand Filipinos are aiming to find another boxing caliber like Pacquiao. And it seems, no one yet is following his footsteps.

For sure, a lot of Filipinos are voting for Gaballo, hence, leading the poll.   Tongue

Based on the poll, Gaballo by Knockout is the winner here. Majority is seeing Gaballo, although not as experience, has the power to win here via knockout. And when you mentioned the fight in Australia between Pacquaio and Horn, it's like a stigma that Australia has been biased but I do not think that is the case anymore.

But just to avoid that kind of controversy, Gaballo should aim and win by knockout here so that there will be no doubts about the result. Or at least make it a clear winner on the scorecard just like what Haney did to Kambosos so that there will be no "robbery" in this fight.
386  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How your feels? on: February 29, 2024, 11:36:33 AM
I want to know how it feels among those of you who gamble using altcoins or bitcoins, basically the crypto you are using today has increased significantly, we know that in 2022-2023 coins that are small are not so valuable, and how does it feel today? Is there a little regret or do you not care because the money you lose in gambling is a necessity for you, so you don't care about the crypto you have lost in gambling for the past two years?

1 BTC = 1 BTC others will say. But obviously if we look at how big the value as compare to fiat, then you might have reservations of using them. As far as altcoins though, if we look at today's pricing they are still way off from their previous all time high as compare to Bitcoin that we might see next month that we might set a new all time high.

So the answer could be very different from each individual, on how they see the price correlation of Bitcoin relative to Fiat.

Not the first time though, every bull run we have this kind of dilemma, and still people are gambling with their precious Bitcoin.
387  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Lomachenko vs. Kambosos - May 12 IBF Lightweight Title on: February 29, 2024, 10:39:23 AM
If Tank's mission for his career is to preserve his unbeaten record then I reckon that he is only in this sport to make some money for retirement. He has the talent to create a legacy, however, his motivation will stop from doing this. There are only very few fighters who will take risks to become the greatest. Pacman in boxing and Khabib in MMA are certainly my favorite choices.

Everyone though is here for the business of making big money until they retired. Floyd has set that precedent already, there could be some who chases for legacy, but majority including Tank Davis wanted to be the next Floyd. But it's hard to blame them, they can just give us the reasons that they put their lives on the line when they fight and so they deserved to be paid more.

I do agree, Pacman's mindset is different, that's why he achieved greatness even though he has a lot of lost in his record. Khabib retired undefeated, but it's more on his mentality as his father died and he can go thru MMA without his father in his corner.

Hopefully though, we can see Tank stepping his game and fighting the champion in 135 lbs like Shakur Stevenson and the winner here.
388  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Devin Haney vs Ryan Garcia on April 20 on: February 29, 2024, 10:11:44 AM
I don’t know anything about Devin Haney, but Ryan Garcia seems more and more cringe in every clip I see of him. I think for that reason I’m probably going to go with Haney to win this fight. I think the Tank fight broke Ryan Garcia mentally. I wouldn’t put money behind him vs anyone until he gets another win under his belt.

It's just typical for Ryan Garcia to act this way, he has tweet about his wife fighting as well, and he says that they should pay here a minimum $500,000 LOL. Yes, Haney is the huge favorite here so it make sense for smart bettors to go for him. ML is not that attracted though, but there are a lot options that can give us a good return if we go on Haney here.

Ryan has a history of mental breakdown before and that's why he quit for a while before making a comeback and taking a new trainer in Goosen. However, when he lost to Tank Davis, the switches again, this time he is under the tutelage of Derrick James who trains Errol Spence and a bunch of others.
389  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Trying to find a Sweet Bonanza Max win Video. on: February 28, 2024, 10:30:15 PM
As you know Sweet Bonanza is one of the most popular slots, a lot of streamers love to play it, and the max win is supposed to be x21,000. But when we try to find a video of a max win, it is hard/impossible.

Yes, it's really hard to hit that max win in Sweet Bonanza, however, this could be one reasons why a lot of streamers or even casual slot players are into this game because they want to hit that max win. But so far, none has been lucky enough.

If we compare this with Wanted Dead or a Wild, in Wanted we can find tons of videos showing a Max win. So, i would like to open the discussion.

It's really also hard to win Wanted Dead or a Wild to even get a bonus round, much more with a Max win. Maybe it's because of their RTP that's why we have seen a lot of gamblers hitting that big win by Hack Saw gaming.
390  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Lomachenko vs. Kambosos - May 12 IBF Lightweight Title on: February 28, 2024, 10:10:45 PM
This type of trickery and the attitude of avoiding risk is making me speculate if Tank was really injured vs. Pitbull Cruz. I reckon if someone proposes a rematch, Tank will avoid Pitbull similar to Canelo and his avoidance of Benavidez hehehee.

He didn't give Pitbull the rematch, he has has move on. But we all know that he is fighting lesser and soft opponents. Again, it could have been because they want to preserved his unbeaten record like his mentor Floyd.

Tank avoided the rematch with Pitbull but when the latter struggled against the green but awkward Giovanni Cabrera in his last fight, a rematch was mentioned again. But maybe because of the many criticisms that Tank is just cherry picking and only wanted the rematch when Pitbull was showing weak in its last fight it failed to materialize probably because of the network unwilling to guarantee of a big purse.

Anyways, I expect Loma to win and become champion again. But I do not think he still has enough left to beat Shakur. Shakur just said he is fighting again but will only honor the last remaining fight with Top Rank. So I am not sure if there are networks and promoter that are willing to offer more money for a boring fighter like Shakur.

That's what I'm trying to say with Tank, he chooses easy fight, that it might look and close in paper but still he is the A-side and going to knockout his opponent. Even in the Rolly Romero fight, Rolly in relatively unknown, but they try to spin as if Rolly has a punchers change against Tank and that Floyd or someone from his team thinks that Rolly can beat Tank.

I think that will be the leverage of Top Rank for Shakur to sign with them again, he will be given the chance to fight Loma which is one of his dream fights. It will be a big test for him and let's see if he can get the belt, assuming the Loma wins against George Kambosos in Australia.
391  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Jason Moloney vs Reymart Gaballo WBO Bantamweight Title (May 12) on: February 28, 2024, 09:47:50 PM
And if we can say that this year is Japan's golden era in boxing, then we can conclude it as well that during Pacman's prime and Nonito Donaire it could also be very well considered as Philippines golden era. However, we all know that sooner or later those boxers are going to retire.

I do agree that this fight is still very close, but I check my favorite sports bookies, and as usual the odds is not yet listed.

Moloney though might be the slight favorite, but definitely Gaballo can be considered as live dog here.
392  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Closing in on 60k, Again! on: February 28, 2024, 09:30:46 PM
Bitcoin is playing in a quite different way than in previous history. We have always seen Bitcoin reset before a mega pump. But this time we are witnessing the rapid growth of Bitcoin. Today we experienced a yearly ATH hit of $64K and a dump again as well. I have seen Coinbase users encounter a bug and see zero balance on their account. That's why people became panicky and dumped from $64K to $60K again. However, Bitcoin is still pretty strong due to ETFs and new investments.

Yeah, maybe just a hiccup but I don't think it will be the reason for a reset, price is still hovering on the $63,000. And everyone is excited to see this huge pump at the end of the month. Bulls are not resting till they got the price to a new all time high before the halving and I'm sure everyone of us here are thinking the same. It could be the first time for us to see that kind of push, and as you have said, it could be due to the ETF's and everyone is on the FOMO and doesn't missed the boat.

We still have a full month to accomplished that, going into $70,000 pre-halving. And for sure, those who have been holding for years are very happy to see this price, but I guess no one is going to sell till next year or see what will be the top price in this cycle.
393  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: February 28, 2024, 08:57:21 PM
^^ Good advise from Reynoso as well, he is not just a simply trainer for Canelo, he acted as a advisor as well so Reynoso might really see that Benavidez is a real threat for his prize pupil and they don't want to destroy his image as this point as they have made one mistake on Bivol.

And after that, Canelo or his team are very picky, John Ryder and Charlo, LOL. So no David Benavidez for him this year and keeping Canelo away from Benavidez. Berlanga this May and then Munguia this September will be the likely schedule and boxer that Canelo will face this year.
394  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The shocking rate of women interested in gambling. on: February 28, 2024, 08:17:12 PM
If we were still gambling in the traditional way of physical casino, alot of women that's are gambling today won't have being able to gamble as they'll feel the society will judge them for having fun.

no one will judge like that. This view may arise when you gamble in a country where gambling is not legal.
where there is a majority of people who do not like gambling and you live among them. So whether you are a woman or a man, you will still receive negative assessments from society.
but if you go to a casino where gambling is legal in the country, there are no gender issues that limit women or men. As long as you have the money to bet and are old enough according to the regulations, then you can bet.

I also do not understand why we need to differentiate between men and women when we talk about gambling  Huh
Gambling is not gender specific and it is not like men have more advantage in this as compared to women. Both men and women may have equal chances to win in gambling and also both men and women can be lucky or unlucky, hence no difference whatsoever.

That is true, gambling is not gender specific, perhaps it was frown before though, that women should stay at the house and take care of their family. But it's a very different period already. Gone where the days that women chooses to stay behind. Women do want to make their own money to help the family as well same with their husband.

Yes, men have more control over money as they are the ones responsible for earning money, so we can say that men have more opportunity to gamble as compared to women but there are no restrictions on the part of women. If a woman or girl is financially strong, she can gamble as and when she wants and no one has the right to stop her.
Also, I haven't seen any gender discrimination from the gambling sites and they welcome everyone to join and gamble on their platforms.

Perhaps it was also due to women is known to be risk averse, meaning they are build to not take a big risk. However, as we have observed, it's not that case any longer. Women is doing what the man is doing as well including gambling their money in casino's or whether online of offline. In if you go to traditional based gambling, you will see a lot of young women too, enjoying and playing and having some fun.
395  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling games that gives you an exciting experience on: February 26, 2024, 10:05:45 PM
Gambling has developed over time and this field has become more popular, especially after the development of many games and the ability of casinos to fulfill all players’ requirements, allowing us an exciting experience.
There is always a game or several games that we prefer over the rest and enjoy more for several factors, perhaps because we feel that we have more luck and a greater chance of winning, or because we understand the foundations of the game and how it works, or for other purposes.

Personally, I am new to gambling and I do not know much about games, and I prefer gambling on football matches with small amounts of money.

What is your favorite gambling game and what are the reasons that made you prefer it over the rest?

Might be better if there will be a poll from the OP. Anyhow, I think everyone should be in the boat with me,

1. Slot machine - for obvious reasons, no rules apply, operators created the best UI, different themes, from Hollywood to Egyptians, name it, they have everything under this game. What's exciting is that is based on pure luck, so you don't know if you are going to be bust (most likely), or get a jackpot or a bonus round that will give you a big payday.

2. Roulette - hitting that single number, talk about luck.

3. Sports betting - as a fan, you bet on your favorite team, games like soccer, basketball or even boxing gives thrill to every fanatics and see if your favorite team or individual athletes are going to win.
396  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Lomachenko vs. Kambosos - May 12 IBF Lightweight Title on: February 26, 2024, 09:17:15 PM
Regardless, I am curious what's next to the winner. When the coward Tank Davis was given a free belt, I doubt there will be another undisputed champion in this division soon. Shakur is the best fighter in this division but because of his boring and unmarketable style, the other champions will have more reasons to just duck him.

It's in house money for Top Rank, I think Shakur is going to fight the winner of this fight. Tank will be well protected and I don't think they are ready to let him face either Loma or Shakur this year.

That would be nice to see Loma ( a possible winner ) vs Shakur fight. it's the technical fighter vs a slippery fighter. It's not new to Loma since he had already fought Haney which I believe have a similar style like Shakur but Shakur is much shorter than Haney, so probably that will give Loma an advantage to that. We don't have to worry about the possible revenue of this fight since alhough Shakur is boring, but Loma will make it interesting.

It is not only Shakur is shorter than Haney. Do not underestimate that in reality, Devin Haney is very much bigger than expected. His move to super lightweight might be thought as something similar to moving up to a heavier weight division. However, it should be something similar to moving to a weight division with his correct height and size hehehe. Some fans speculated that Prograis might win because he belonged in the higher weight division but in the ring it was very clear that the much bigger boxer was Devin Haney. He might also find a home on welterweight with in 5 years.

Obviously, there are no boxers that can stay in one division, specially for those who have started in lower weight class. We have seen a lot of legendary and not so great boxers going up in weight. So I'm seeing both Shakur and Tank Davis could go up in weight, but it has to do with the timing. Maybe when some of the 140 lbs champions goes to welterweight like Teo and Haney maybe these two will have to jump.

Tank Davis for me will have to still proved himself in this 135 lbs. He has started now, Frank Martin in his next fight. But his true test will be Shakur and Loma. And I think he can beat both of this fighters. No more paper or free belt for Tank, he should earn it and fight the best and clean up this division.
397  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: February 26, 2024, 08:58:26 PM
What started as a rumor is now being confirmed by ESPN. Canelo is leaving PBC. Canelo was insisting on fighting Jermall Charlo but PBC wanted a better quality opponent. It is likely Canelo will go back to DAZN, where he will be safe from Benavidez and fight softer opposition like Munguia and Berlanga.

Benavidez Sr as well said that they were offered to fight Canelo, but at a bare minimum of $5 million. And he says that maybe they are just testing them to see if they are going to request for more money. So they said "Yes", to it, but unfortunately, the camp of Canelo didn't return back so it's obviously it's a bait.

And as we have been speculating as well, it's clearly a duck from the camp of Canelo not to fight Benavidez, again and again as stories are coming out. Now, with DAZN, easy fight for Canelo against this two and then the money will be there, less risk better reward.
398  Economy / Gambling / Re: BitRoul.com , Roulette without zero ,RTP 100 , earn 100 USD with fun money on: February 24, 2024, 10:14:08 AM
Let me just comment of the UI and the feel of the game though I did try it with free money, as a regular slot player:

a. seems the design is old school and with that, I was not attracted to it.
b. maybe it is just me but it's lagging as some time

In any case, good luck in trying to compete will live gaming like Evolution's Roulette or any other theme roulette design.
399  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: February 24, 2024, 08:54:11 AM
The WBC president uncle Mauricio has also appeared to change his mind on David Benavidez's next opponent.

WBC president Mauricio Sulaiman said this Thursday through his social networks that David Benavidez's next opponent will not be Saul 'Canelo' Alvarez as had been said in recent hours, and that the interim light heavyweight championship will be disputed by the American fighter of Mexican descent and the Ukrainian Oleksandr Gvozdyk.

Source https://www.marca.com/en/boxing/2024/02/23/65d896bdca47411a698b45b4.html

They are having a hard time keeping their story straight. Whatever comes out of the mouth of Sulaiman is likely just damage control. They don’t want to upset Canelo because they don’t want to lose their percentage of his purse. They will most likely continue to allow Canelo to evade Benavidez for as long as he pleases.

LOL, but it could be true, maybe the Sulaiman is going in public right now, sort of to like they are doing their job and as it giving Canelo ultimatum to fight Benavidez. But I think they are just lying here, Canelo will still fight whoever they like despite what the WBC is saying to us.

I don’t believe the $55 million offer was real. It’s just something that Lewkowicz put out there to get some publicity for Benavidez’ next fight. Sampson’s word isn’t very credible and he’s defaulted on purse bids before so where would he even get that kind of money to offer Canelo. PBC isn’t getting much of a budget from Amazon if all their cards are going on PPV, so Haymon can’t make those kind of guarantees either. It would be more money than what Canelo made against GGG, Canelo vs. Benavidez isn’t close to that magnitude.

That's big money already and if it is true, by now Canelo could have taken that offer. So more likely it could be good money for Canelo but not close to what  Lewkowicz. And we still have to wait though, but I don't see Canelo vs Benavidez. They will have separate opponent for this year and I don't think they will fight in 2024.
400  Economy / Speculation / Re: 60k possible before end of this month? on: February 23, 2024, 10:09:02 PM
We just had a small correction, from $52,000 to $51,000 and it could still continue to dip. But I think the sentiments of the market is still bullish and as we have a week before the end of this month, speculations are still open. But for me, might be difficult to see $60,000 at least for this month. We have exhausted already or at least the bulls for now and so we might see some sideways for the last week but above the $50,000 price range.

Most important thing is that the market is bullish as we are approaching the block halvening. And there are no more black swan events in the horizon. So everything looks perfect moving forward to the most important event and the catalyst for the bull run that we all have been waiting.
