401  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why should other countries did not accept Bitcoins? on: September 01, 2021, 11:47:45 AM
@ropyu1978 These are just excuses. The decentralized nature of Bitcoin is the main reason for it facing resistance in many countries. Governments have no control over it and they are still finding ways to regulate it properly
Yeah, you just mixed the words that @ropyu1978 have just said but I'll humor you, they don't have control over it but they can always go for the people who use them, if there's no one who uses it, then bitcoin is as good as gone in that country.
402  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin mini documentary on: September 01, 2021, 10:50:37 AM
There is too much focus on the price.
I feel they should've also focused on different technologies that they can integrate with bitcoin in the future and should've given some shout outs to some least known contributors of bitcoin.
403  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Crypto feel good story: Texas kids make $32,000/month mining ethereum on: September 01, 2021, 10:01:24 AM
Something doesn't add up about this story. They didn't have money to buy BTC, but they had money to buy mining equipment? Lol, money's money, so they clearly had it and could have spent it directly on Bitcoin. At least, they could've done it with their earnings from, allegedly, an old gaming computer (I also don't believe an old gaming computer could bring such profits). And as others pointed out, their father used to be a Wall Street banker, and IMO the story should've led with that, instead of making it sound like these are poor kids fighting for their right to get a higher education with mining cryptos. Not to mention that kids that young should not really be working, they should rest and study.
Yeah, I think that too and not to mention that mining rigs and the GPUs used for it are expensive because of scalpers. It's not heart warming, more like a story of how a privileged family can make more money much faster than anyone else and get much more ahead in the curve.
404  Economy / Gambling / Re: New Crypto Casino with a built in MIXER and token bridges!!! on: September 01, 2021, 07:35:58 AM
Just make the games really fun, good and fair and you're good to go in terms of a casino. You're mixing service though, that might get you in trouble for some authorities because that's a really good place for money launderers to use that service to evade taxes.
405  Economy / Gambling / Re: 1XBIT.COM ᐉ 7 BTC WB ᐉ Altcoin Betting ᐉ no KYC on: September 01, 2021, 06:34:28 AM
About 9 hours ago i made a deposit of 47 XRP and it has not been credited to my account untill now

The transaction is successful on xrp network

I have been able to deposit xrp/ltc/btc before

My transaction has the correct address and destination tag- i have checked it 10 times

So far i have yet to receive any proper support sadly, the live chat on site told me to email and the email person told me they have forwarded it to their 'specialists'

It is very bizarre that a crypto deposit is not credited, i could understand if it was btc and no confirmations - but xrp is very fast and it has reached 1xbit 100%

I have sent all the details to the representative here on PM as well, will update when i receive any support/help
Some screenshots might be able to help you in this one, 1xbit might be shady but that doesn't mean that we can just accuse any of them falsely just to make something out of it. Hopefully you can get back the money but I highly doubt that it's going to be happening for this one.
406  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bitcoin betting on the 2024 US Presidential Election | Biden+Harris Vs ?? ?? on: September 01, 2021, 04:48:24 AM
~

For Biden, re-election remains  a long-shot scenario given his age, physical health and recent performance. By the time of 2024 POTUS elections, he will be 82 years of age. The oldest president to hold office was Ronald Reagan, who became the president when he was 69 years and was almost 78 when his term ended. Biden will be 86, by the time his possible second term ends by 2028. And the same goes for Donald Trump as well. He is 74 right now, and by 2028 he will be 80 plus. What the US needs is someone in 40s or 50s, and I believe the 2024 contest is going to be between Kamala Harris and Ron DeSantis.
I don't think that's going to stop him in any way though but given how old he is, I think that we might see new presidential campaign candidates so this betting is a bit impossible to happen, what's most likely to happen is probably we're predicting who's going to be the potential candidates until the election period.
407  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bitcoin betting on the 2024 US Presidential Election | Biden+Harris Vs ?? ?? on: September 01, 2021, 03:20:45 AM
The timing of trump and biden's remelection will not be the same, everything will change over time also their physical condition will get much worse with age democrats are in charge of both congress and the white house chambers against their various fights that took place after republicans took the house in a wave of inspiration. And they are heading for a midterm election where republicans have already returned to warnings about debt, deficits and inflation their concerns under former president donald trump.
Exactly, 4 years is enough time for the change in the opinion of the people with how they manage the country, if it's all controversy and stupidity then there's a possibility that they're not going to be popular with the people in their attempt at re-election.
408  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: An alternative to Poker on: September 01, 2021, 02:21:32 AM
~
I think there's a lot of card games that can be alternative to poker. I'm not familiar to Chinese or Indian Poker, but I'm very much familiar with Tong Its and I can say I'm kinda excellent gamer of it. My technique in Tong Its is I observed my opponents cards. You just need to focus on game and memorize what he/she already put down cards and what do you think he/she still holding or left cards. By this you can predict what's their next card and you will have a big chance winning over them. And second and my final tip that I can give is always put down first the cards with big numbers.
A little search could probably help you know what those two poker variations are, and I think that you might enjoy Indian Poker the most because there's more mind games in that part compared to Chinese poker plus there's more players with Indian compared to a Chinese poker which only has a maximum of 4.
409  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The life span of bitcoin is till infinity on: August 31, 2021, 03:45:25 PM
I am not sure about this. We never know whether the demand for Bitcoin would stop at some point. For now, it is increasing and it is helping Bitcoin get stronger than before. But maybe at some point, one of the altcoins in the market (currently existing or not) will manage to dethrone Bitcoin and people will start losing their interest in Bitcoin. And it might be the end of Bitcoin also.
The demand won't end in my opinion, long as people buy it, they unconsciously create an influence around them that makes other people that they interact with to be influenced by them in a way and make themselves want to buy bitcoin too and it's a chain reaction although it's a bit slow but it's going to happen anyways.
410  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: HODL vs Staking, What is the best strategy? on: August 31, 2021, 02:56:36 PM
I still prefer Hodl strategy. But do not delay it, you need to sell bitcoin on time.
How can you exactly know when you're going to sell your bitcoin, it's not like there's a warning that it's the highest peak for a certain period of time so it's difficult to know when to sell, the best thing that we should do is to know when you're going to sell those bitcoin. I am not familiar with staking though so I am more on hodling.
411  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ESports betting -CS:GO, DOTA 2, LOL- Sportsbet.io discussion thread on: August 31, 2021, 02:16:16 PM
Valorant is surely welcome to be discussed here.
Only just found out you can bet on it after creating the thread and you can only fit so much in the title as there is a character limit. Wink

As per your question, Valorant Masters Berlin tournament begins on September 10 up until the 19th as mentioned in the link below:
https://www.vlr.gg/event/466/valorant-champions-tour-stage-3-masters-berlin
Usually the events are available on the platform a week before hand so you can check back to see if they are available then.
Wow, didn't expect a game that's not even 2 years old yet to have a big tournament being hosted already, I guess they really outdid themselves in selling their games to the traditional CS and FPS players. I think Tenz is the biggest player in the league right now.
412  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Poker casino but need KYC, is this really necessary? on: August 31, 2021, 12:05:31 PM
~
Right, I agree with you, it's better for us to do KYC after we register on the site, but of course we must also make sure that the site is really trusted and can guarantee to maintain our personal identity, because doing KYC has risks if This site is an untrusted site and they can misuse our data as a tool to cheat.
I see that many members here have experience with difficulty making large withdrawals and KYC is the reason.
That should always go without saying because if you know that it's a shady site in the first place, it's already a common sense to not give your information for the supposed KYC verification. But besides all of that, it's better to have KYC than nothing.
413  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Poker casino but need KYC, is this really necessary? on: August 31, 2021, 11:33:35 AM

However I don't think those launders are using casino for money laundering since there's a high risk you'll get caught, mostly they could use a mixer and has far better privacy.
That's what the money launderers want you to believe that they're not using that method, I mean we wouldn't know about it if it's not been used before so I think that it's better to have that KYC in place rather than wait for it to happen, it's all about prevention rather than cure.
414  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Credit card bans introduced in Ireland. on: August 31, 2021, 10:47:44 AM
I know Ireland for being strict in rules and laws but this will surely bring down gambling industry in their country because credit cards are part of financial support of each individual so even if use in gambling it is their problem .
Nope, I don't think so, I mean look at Muslim dominated states, they have a lottery there even though it's strict but they still have a flourishing gambling industry there. Also, it's not really effective for gamblers that have ways to make some money no matter what.
415  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Affiliates (Paid Streamers) - Fair or Not to other non-paid gamblers? on: August 31, 2021, 06:12:18 AM
~
He has the option of getting sponsorship; he's well-known on the platform, so it should be easy for him to find a sponsor, right? Very unfair.
That's exactly what he should've done if he wanted to be fair for him with other sponsored streamers but he goes on and rants about this BS that it's unfair, it's like saying don't do pay to win in a pay to win game.
416  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Regulators are on next level desperate on Bitcoin and the cryptospace on: August 31, 2021, 05:01:47 AM
this is the kind of subject that doesn't need to be discussed much, the thing is quite simple: if a government creates a law that prohibits using bitcoin then people in that country just have to obey the laws and of course fewer people who would be buying bitcoin would be exchages from this country that would be closing its doors, there is no way bitcoin  prosper if all countries in the world had a law prohibiting bitcoin.
That's a privilege way of looking at things, as if following the law is a fair thing for many people. Also, if you're forced to obey the laws then you're living in a police state, it's not like your a robot, you can comply but you can't be forced.
417  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Addict on: August 31, 2021, 04:22:01 AM
The popularity of Bitcoin is spreading day by day and people are leaning towards it. In particular, students are dropping out of school and concentrating on Bitcoin in a country  The education system is deteriorating. So the student community needs to keep itself as far away from Bitcoin as possible.
I don't think so, why hold them back on financial freedom? Also, if the education system is worth dropping for then probably it's not the student that has the problem because if it's not a broken system then probably we would see less students dropping out because there's always a way to balance the scales in terms of hustling and studying.
418  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Next US president pro-bitcoin? on: August 31, 2021, 02:48:42 AM
If he says those things, it wouldn't be a win for him, remember that the US has a really dumb population, they appeal and get their votes only for those that they find interesting or caters on their primal instincts which is really a cause for a alarm because one win from a really stupid president could end US as we know it.
419  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Inoue vs Casimero Bantamweight Unification Fight on: August 30, 2021, 04:36:48 PM
Well, well, well, it seems that we can finally see the fight that's been on demand, this is a fight that Casimero has to win because all of the nonsense trashtalk that he did is definitely going to backfire against him not to mention that Inoue wants this fight because of those stuff that he said. All in with Inoue in this one, probably betting some for KO.
Me too, I've been looking forward of this fight when Casimero's words sort of provoked Inoue to have a fight with him, with so many articles I have read, I already forgot what started all of this, does anyone have any article that I can use to help juggle my crude memory. I'm the same but I don't think there will be a KO, Casimero might be talking shit but he's tough.
420  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Anderson Silva vs Tito Ortiz on September 11 on: August 30, 2021, 03:41:59 PM
This date of the fight is a special one, it's also a day of memorial to those people that we've lost during the terror attack in World Trade Center and Pentagon but I digress hopefully this is a good exhibition fight and I think this is an even match up, Silva has the boxing experience and Ortiz has the beefy build that can endure punishment.
