401  Other / Off-topic / Re: You may win 1 (one!!!!) whole merit if you guess cryptohunter's new username on: January 19, 2020, 01:40:47 PM
My guess is that it's going to be something cringy and boastful, like DebateCrusher.
Since you started a topic like this he might come up with Fuckmoon  Cheesy.
FailedHunter or "DT1  DUMB TURDS1" according to one of his posts is not bad either Wink.
402  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Conor McGregor vs Manny Pacquiao on: January 18, 2020, 05:54:21 PM
Mismatch or not, let's just hope for a good fight.  Grin
I you are looking for a good fight then Conor needs to fight someone who is coming up in the sport of boxing and not someone who is established and at the top of the game. I am sure Manny will school him and if Conor wants his stock to rise in boxing he needs a win and not starting a career with two losses.

He is confident that he can win against Manny Pacquiao that is why he will not find other fighters, he is seeing this fight as an opportunity to boost his career.
Everyone is confident before the fight, i am sure Conor McGregor is confident that he can beat Floyd Mayweather if there is a rematch and after that he will think that he can beat the third time around. You cannot fight the best in a sport and expect to win and that is the fact.
403  Economy / Speculation / Re: Did Elon Musk cause the massive bull-run? on: January 18, 2020, 05:00:09 PM
He is the one. He is Nakamoto. Now we know how Tesla and Space X are being financed!
There was a time when Elon Musk was really struggling to fund Tesla and Space X and he needed to raise these amounts when they were close to bankruptcy and he does not have the time to develop bitcoin between all these pressure to stay afloat in life. The pressure is real and then he got his dramatic divorce when he was struggling with his companies and then he found a solution to recover both these companies with extra funds and faith in his abilities and vision.
Whether one person can manipulate the market, it is possible as he did that in the past with doge coin when he tweeted about it for fun and he usually like to troll every now and then and that will impact the market which shows how vulnerable the market is to jump up and down without any substance.
404  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Conor McGregor vs Manny Pacquiao on: January 18, 2020, 04:14:14 PM
Money? 100%
Fight? 100% Mismatch
It is a mismatch to fight against elite boxers and you cannot compete with elite sportsperson just like that.

Conor still confident on winning back this time? For likes of Pacquiao, he wont stood a chance and its much better if he just behave on UFC rather
than messing around on boxing ring. Grin
The entire career of Conor McGregor is about confidence, if he is smart enough he will find other fighters rather than going after elite fighters who have proved everything and if he is looking at them as ageing competitors still hanging on and if he lands one punch then he will elevate himself to the next level without a doubt and if he takes this fight this will be his mentality.
405  Economy / Speculation / Re: Craig Wright's Court Battle - Bitcoin on: January 18, 2020, 03:29:48 PM
What we have noticed in the market is probably just a coincidence because there's a lot of drama in the market lately, including the US and Iran conflict, bitcoin halving, and CW case with his BSV. His court battle won't affect the market no matter everything seems to follow as a coincidence to everything what we have seen.
There are many issues in the world including tensions between countries and they are in the brink of war and it will affect certain markets as well because everyone will be concerned about a stable economy when there is an all out war and it is not different in the crypto market and the legal proceedings that is going through does have an impact on the market as well if the judge favors CSW and his claims and if he can prove those in the court.
406  Economy / Economics / Re: Winklevoss-Led Gemini Exchange Now Has Its Own Insurance Company on: January 18, 2020, 03:01:46 PM
Gemini confirms himself as one of the most institutional money friendly exchanges, with a clear step in providing such client a safe ansd sound investment venue, providing them with an insurance for the funds held at the exchange.
It is a ground breaking approach and the Winklevoss brothers were planning to do something for a very long time and because of regulatory hurdle they kept on shifting their focus and i think they have done a great deal of service to the community to make the authorities understand about bitcoin and now you get the insurance for the coins in an exchange and that is the service we want, a security for our money invested in exchanges should have insurance and i am sure the rest of the exchanges will follow this path if not they will loose customers.
407  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Conor McGregor vs Manny Pacquiao on: January 17, 2020, 04:59:10 PM
What I want to see is both fighters are using their own style(i.e Mcgregor using MMA and Pacquiao using Boxing) and not restricted by a rule of what fighting style should be used.
If there is no restriction then you can call that an MMA fight and i highly doubt that any boxer who found financial success in boxing will ever try MMA as anyone can take them to the ground and finish the fight easily and that happens if there are no restrictions as the fight can happen anywhere  Cheesy.

BTC0.005 - for me, this fight will not happen this year. Any takers? Anyone? There are talks according to McGregor itself so there's a chance for a match. And a long period for negotiations so this is a risk for me.
I can bet that the fight will never happen and i can spare 0.001BTC for that Cheesy.
408  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Europol Might Hinder Monero's Progress on: January 17, 2020, 04:00:54 PM
Not new to us, but for Monero bagholders, you need to think twice, just saying.
I myself used to have Monero back then, but when exchanges started to delisted them, I have a hunch that authorities are going after privacy coins, which has been happening for the last couple of years now.
When you are expecting regulations in the coming years you need to understand that all the privacy coins will come under fire and it will be pushed back to the dark market as all the exchanges will be forced to delist the privacy coins and it is not the case with Monero but all the privacy centered coins and the pressure for mixers already started and it is a matter of time how long these established mixers will last.
409  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Conor McGregor vs Manny Pacquiao on: January 17, 2020, 02:46:53 PM
Do you think this fight is possible? sure, it's gonna bring a lot of money for both fighters and this should be a better fight than conor vs mayweather because we might see the power of Manny here punish a trash talker conor.
If you really want to punish the trash talker in Conor McGregor then he needs to rematch Khabib Nurmagomedov and not Manny Pacquiao and if he fights Pacquiao whether he will have the same kind of success to fill the stadium is questionable as the hype surrounding him defeating a boxer is just a good laugh after getting humiliated by Floyd Mayweather as Conor gassed out and if someone is not possible to fight the entire fight.
410  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What if Ethereum replaces Bitcoin someday? on: January 17, 2020, 02:03:04 PM
If and only if the bitcoin has been replaced by ethereum, many of investors will not gonna trust ethereum so easily because they are loyal supporters of the bitcoin. But we all know that this is impossible since all of the investors really trust and supports it that is why it is impossible to be replaced. The support and the trust of the investors is the main reason why bitcoin is still on the top.
To be frank how many users you can identify as loyal supports and how long they will support if there are no incentives, not much and i am sure about it as the loyalty and love will sustain as long as they are having the benefit and when that disappears there will be small group with real passion irrespective of the profit who wants to see the project succeed. If people understand the real difference between bitcoin and ETH then we will not have these comparisons Tongue.
411  Economy / Economics / Re: Future without Middle men big way, but big Question? on: January 17, 2020, 10:39:35 AM
Considering that more than 90% of the sites which offer you interest on your BTC are scammers, I think for most people it would be better to take your advice. And for those who know what they are doing, for the minority who store their coins on a reputable site, it is still advisable to not store significant amounts anywhere except your own wallet.
The companies that can really provide an interest are loan based companies and the rest are just like gambling, we have no transparency on how they are using the funds and hence you cannot trust anyone who is offering you an interest. Staking in gambling sites does have the risk and so is the case with exchanges and hence it is better to keep them with you rather than taking chances unless there is a regulated company who have insurance for the funds deposited.
412  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why people debate so much about BTC value? on: January 16, 2020, 05:41:20 PM
Since ages, people keep debating - will BTC pump? Will it go to the moon? Will it drop?
The majority in the market are looking to make profit as no one is confined to this market as a religion or a cult Tongue but these topics about pump are irritating .

I'm asking myself what's the purpose of these questions? BTC wasn't created to compete with the value of USD or other fiat currencies, but to replace them completely. Therefore, if people would just think prices for various stuff in BTC, instead of calculating them in the BTC value compared to USD, all these questions would be irrelevant.
Since you are of the impression that bitcoin is meant to replace fiat currencies, you have to take a realistic look at the development of bitcoin too, it is not even remotely possible to take over as a replacement but it is a store of value and our development is moving in that direction. So the idea of bitcoin changing the concept of fiat currency is just a wet dream in 2020  Tongue Cheesy.
413  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: January 16, 2020, 05:34:39 PM
Looking at the odds i am inclined to place a bet for Donald Cerrone, i am confused why there is a lopsided odds by the match makers but Donald Cerrone is a top fighter for a very long time and it will not be an easy fight for either and hopefully the fans will get what they want, a really good fight and with the change in personality by Conor it is a surprising change and there were not many Irish fans for the press conference and that is what i noticed in this press conference.
414  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is BSV a bubble ? on: January 16, 2020, 04:34:44 PM
The future for BSV is that if Craig Wright proves that he is real Satoshi, BSV will go to the moon. But if all his efforts were to fail then BSV would surely lose more than 99% of the present value. You can bet on it but I think the success rate will be very low, we will wait for the results in February, the deadline for Craig Wright to carry out the relevant proofs.
The funny thing is that BSV revolves around one person and what they do to develop under the banner is not the main issue when the price was rallying and it is a strange aspect. How this unfolds is still a mystery as how Craig Wright will be able to provide the proof is highly unlikely because till now he was not able to satisfy the larger group base who is asking for the proof of his and now he got the mysterious courier and it all looks like a thriller movie Cheesy.
415  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BCH, ETH OR BTC? which coin is best to buy and HODL for 2020. on: January 16, 2020, 02:56:16 PM
only three coins are worth to buy BCH.BTC and ETH.
rest coins are going up like bubble and next day coming down like bubble blast.
which coin is best out of these three coins to buy in January 2020 and hold for one year to see profit.?
The only coin you can really trust is bitcoin, i would avoid ETH because of all the fancy changes and who knows where it will end up and BCH is a fork and i am not sure what development is going on other than the upgraded block size as i am not following them and considering all these my advice is to invest in bitcoin and some other coin with low market valuation that will increase once the rallies begins like dogecoin, this is not an advice for investment but just my opinion of a small valuation but could possibly rally when the market goes up.
416  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BCH price in 2020 on: January 15, 2020, 04:27:39 PM
BCH has had a strong rally for almost a month, the current BCH price has reached $ 330 and has increased 100% since December. In 2020, the price of BCH will certainly continue to rise and I expect it to reach at least $ 600 by the end of 2020. I make such a prediction because the price of BCH depends on the price of Bitcoin, if Bitcoin increases then the price of BCH will increase as well and of course 2020 will be a great year for Bitcoin
There is a new challenger in town with the BSV fork challenging BCH for the over all market valuation and rankings and it will be a good challenge for the investors as they will be the ultimate winners as long as the price and development is going in the right direction. Not sure how long it can go as all the alt coins depends upon the price of bitcoin.
417  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BSV goes up by 50% in 24 hours, bull trap? on: January 15, 2020, 03:57:54 PM
Must be by mistake. The price today spike up to 90% and no signs up going down yet.
But It must be dumped before Feb 3, CW has to prove he has the BTC since the court asked him to prove he has the BTC in control to prove he is satoshi. If he can't prove this, he'd be proven fake finally.
The price started rallying because of the rumors that CSW got the courier from the Tulip trust as he was claiming and it is said that he got the private keys to the initial millions of coins that were mined and on getting those news the price started rallying and if he is not able to produce these things then the bubble will burst for good, just a few more days and lets see how this drama unfolds.
418  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Death of ICOs on: January 15, 2020, 10:48:28 AM
No doubt that ICOs are dead this year, IEO is still in play but looks like it will end soon as the returns of IEO investment is reducing. But people still wants to invest in cryptocurrency despite of the bear market, they all are waiting for the bull market to return. The only key for projects to success right now is that they have been backed by large investment firms, venture capitalists or they have their own funds to use for developments.
The project market will die out eventually even if you call it by ICO or IEO as none of the projects were successful in coming up with solid projects even though they were able to collect insane huge amount of money, the only thing that happened during this period was that the developers who came up with the project made a ton of money and they never returned anything even if they fail to deliver which is crazy.
419  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bitcoin SV Could It Reach All Time Highs? on: January 15, 2020, 10:02:45 AM
Pretty crazy how I sold this coin at like 0.012BTC when it got delisted last year on Binance.
You could have held for a longer period of time as the momentum was really down initially and now the coin went to crazy highs and if you had the patience to hold the coin for a longer period of time you could have made a good amount than selling too early and i am sure there are many who did the same mistake including me Grin. But i still hold a few coins and lets see how long it can go when there is a huge rally in bitcoin.
420  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bitcoin SV Could It Reach All Time Highs? on: January 14, 2020, 03:44:37 PM
However you need to becareful with this coin due to its highly news driven speculation. Most people are expecting for Satoshi to reveal itself and replace BTC with BSV, there is a small chance of that happening and yet investors are still buying the coin.
Are you giving a small chance that they will be able to prove that CSW is Satoshi, the case is in court and let them fight over it and even if he is able to prove that it will not have a change in bitcoin as bitcoin already have a clear path and Satoshi left the project a long time ago and the current future is in the hands of the developers and they will fulfill what is best for the market.

I also think its pumping purely due to the large amount of BSV short positions held on Bitfinex, the price almost doubled within the past week and many are getting nervous due to the upcoming news.
The entire market is rising, even BCH was having a rally and so does bitcoin but BSV had the highest profit along with DASH, what ever it may be the investors are reaping the profit.
