401  Economy / Gambling / Re: What factors make you trust a dice site? on: December 24, 2014, 09:21:20 AM
1. There are many people believe that site
2. Have great / big community
3. Never had bad history

That's all  Smiley

Would cite being provably fair and having been around for a year or more. You are correct that to be trusted a site needs not to have a bad history and there need not to be red flags either. A red flag could be an incident of payment or deals too good to be true.
402  Economy / Gambling / Re: SealsWithClubs.eu | Largest Bitcoin Poker Site | No Banking | Fast Cashouts on: December 22, 2014, 09:02:35 AM
I've actually gotten a cash-out in just 2 or 3 hours (if i recall correctly).

I got 3H but it can take up to 8H.

405  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][CLAM] CLAMS, Proof-Of-Chain, Proof-Of-Pearl, Recent Mandatory Update on: December 12, 2014, 12:18:53 PM
My little amateur analysis on the price : it should go up as gamblers lose their CLAM and need to buy more to keep playing on j-d. The CLAM they lost will be hoarded in the j-d bankroll.

More CLAM will be diged and will supply a portion of the demand but think the price will go up as the demand for CLAM grows from the people who want to invest more in the j-d bankroll, want to play or understand the dynamics and buy CLAM to make a profit.

On one hand, the price went up from 0.0005 to 0.004 but 0.01 will be reached again within months, 0.005-0.006 could become a floor in Early 2015 and we may see 0.02 and up in 2015.

On the other hand, maybe a big bitcoin website has tens of thousands or hundreds of thousands of addresses with CLAM. If it digs them and dumps them on the market, we will be lucky to sustain 0.0015 Grin
406  Economy / Speculation / Re: I AM HODLING on: December 12, 2014, 11:54:34 AM
we just gotta hold until next bubble and fiat crisis then crypto will explode into mainstream

Yep. I foresee a mayor financial crisis, after that u would need to have bitcoins if u want to buy bread (or clams) Smiley

The USA has been in a bubble debt fuelled economy for at least 15 years, the dotcom bubble was followed by the real estate bubble and now we have the credit bubble or the Dollar bubble that will surely pop like all other bubbles.

The unfunded liabilities and the level of debt and mal investment is very high, it will end up in hyper inflation or market crashes or even both.

Bitcoin will be more clearly seen as a safe heaven in that environment since there are less third party risk, a controlled and planned inflation and superior services in terms of mean of exchange and store of value.

Hold!
407  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Just-Dice.com : now with added CLAMs : Play or Invest on: December 09, 2014, 09:32:03 PM
850CLAM added in 7hours give a 0.85% return in 7hours +/- the loss against players Tongue

If I have coins on just-dice (not invested) do I get a reward? I think dooglus said no, it will be given to investors
408  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][CLAM] CLAMS, Proof-Of-Chain, Proof-Of-Pearl, Recent Mandatory Update on: December 09, 2014, 09:31:45 PM
The site reads : -Proof-Of-Stake reward is designed to replace coins lost, unclaimed or inaccessible over time. The block reward of 1 CLAM means that 526,000 new CLAMs are created each year. The annual rate of return varies in relation to the current active money supply. Accordingly, the present annual rate of return is 234%, and the daily return is 0.64%-

How the new coins are given and who get them?

If I have coins on just-dice (not invested) do I get a reward? I think dooglus said no, it will be given to investors
If I have coins on an exchange, do I get CLAM for the block reward?

If I have 1000CLAM and there are 1,000,000CLAM do I get 0.001CLAM each block or do I have 1/1000 chance of getting one each block?
If it is the former when are the CLAM delivered to my wallet?

EDIT :

All 3 addresses have CLAMS according to just-dice.com /dig ADRESS
You can get the CLAM easily on just-dice, look at the FAQ, don't forget to empty the addresses before, just to be safe.
409  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Just-Dice.com Relaunched! With CLAM! on: December 07, 2014, 04:18:02 PM
Here are a few of my concerns:

a) There is no richlist available to my knowledge.  We have no idea how many people were privy to the inside information that Just-dice was going to solely feature clams and we have no idea how many coins the top holders have and/or what their intentions are for the coin either.

b) People are being asked to copy and paste their private key into a PUBLIC chatroom.  It's not hard to believe that users will not understand the instructions, mistype and reveal their private keys openly with funds still inside of them.  This is not OK.  Dooglus seems to get away with it because he has a spotless record, but what if this becomes common practice in the bitcoin gaming scene?  Scamming gaming operators will have a field day!  Please be EXTREMELY cautious and protective with your private keys!!!!

c) There is no way to tell at this moment what will happen when Clams inevitably gets paired with FIAT.  Will Just-dice close down and then it becomes a free for all sell off of clams?  How can we accurately speculate the stability of Clams?  The order book is extremely thin right now.  There are several hypothetical situations that do not play out well for users if they buy-in heavily into clams.

Final thoughts:

Just-dice has always been a great reputable site ran by a very competent and trustworthy operator (Dooglus), but I highly suggest that users do not gamble for high amounts of bitcoin value as there's many unanswered questions and high levels of risk.

If you want to play for fun, mess around with a trusted gaming site, and are not too concerned with financial risk, then by all means I think Just-dice is one of the best places for this.

You are right there are many open questions. Especially what happens when the site closes, is there an exit strategy?
If dooglus got his hands on a large amount of CLAM before hand at say 0.001 and went public saying he will sell it back now and will buy back when the site closes it will be better for investors.
At least it is fun to see just-dice reopens but investing in it is gambling when you can lose more than 50% of the value of your investment because you bought CLAM at a high price then sell low. Investors are going to be more careful than if it reopened in BTC. If the bankroll is smaller, the return on investment will be higher for investors.

That being said, they did their research and CLAM has been distributed widely so many people have it without knowing it, they will get a hold of their CLAM and sell them on the exchange or bet them on j-d so the exchange rate should just rise when the order book is thin but should not go to the moon.

Ca me semble vrai?

I was supposed to be paid November 8, we are December 5 Today and he didn't contact me thus I will add negative trust to his account and remove the coinpiler signature. I am owed 0.12BTC and I advertised 7 more days waiting for the payment.

that's it, if letprice wants to remove negative trust he needs to pay the price he owe me. 0.12 btc.

I will apply a negative trust if he doesn't come to explain or pay by December 5th.

I will remove the signature by then.

LoLz... while everyone is now worried whether they'll get paid for the last month... u came up from nowhere asking to join for next month !!! Height of insanity Cheesy

It's all about believe...
I have no fear, won't have a problem with advertising a month without payment.

So, even if he turns red tomorrow, u r going to join him ?
No, I asked for a free spot and I trust the advertiser when he says he's gonna pay a month later.
I see a lot of people getting nervous when they reach the end of the campaign period.
Why not just wait a few days and evaluate instead of getting nervous beforehand?

I have joined several campaigns in the past and never had a problem with payment, but there were always people doubting the credibility of the advertiser.
So that's why I say, just evaluate in a few days instead of making conclusions 3 seconds after payment date.
I will happily take your place.
Exactly that!

And why would he bother with fixing signatures if he wants to scam us.

My campaign for him stopped November 28th so he is 2days late for me and I have been advertising coinpiler for 2more days without ANY news from OP.

I still think he will pay everyone in early December.

ahh im really nervous now

still no payment, and not seen op !!

Dont be nervous. If your time is up, leave him -ve feedback. If u get paid, turn him green. Simple.

He wrote he would pay after the end of the month. So don't be too rash with that feedback. I joined on 29th, and now I'm waiting till monday for my paycheck, if until then he doesn't even show up with an announcement, you could say it's negative feedback time.

He may have chosen to wait for November 30th or December 1st to deal with the signature campaign. So I am still hopeful to be paid.

Nonetheless it is not good management. He doesn't respect the contract we had of getting paid after a month meaning November 28th for me. I am advertising for free and losing 0.004/day of revenue if I wanted to change signature.
