It has happened before that an ICO start off with low sales and then the team re-invents themselves with a renewed strategy and then the ICO becomes very successful. This usually includes an extension of the ICO period.

I read the proposal document that DCORP released. I am struggling to see what the benefit will be for DCORP holders. It seems that the only benefit will be DRPS holders will get a dividend. Can you please confirm all the benefits to DRPU/DRPS holders over and above what is in the paper which is vague.

Also, how does the latest news impact the decision of choosing DRPU bs DRPS? I amstill havent converted and is there any benefits to switch now vs waiting for later?

Some of the stronger indicators of a security are:
1. that the token receives a dividend or part of the profit share of the organization.
2. that the token entitles you to rights should the organization close down and the remainder of funds are distributed to all the token holders.
3. holders of tokens can vote in matters of the orgnaization

None of these indicators are true for Stratis which counts strongly in favor of Stratis being a utility coin. If there are any other more obscure arguments towards a security it would be weak arguments. Stratis will be used to do stuff on the Stratis platform e.g. to pay for creating sidechains or other use cases where it becomes "fuel" or just in general to pay for stuff which counts strongly in favor of being a utility coin.

You can do the following:

1. Create a cold storage wallet
Option A would be using a Ledger would be the easiest but since there is no Ledger support for SXC you can do option B or C. Option B is to use a paper wallet generator to create a keypair. I am nto aware of a paper wallet generator for SXC so you can follow option C. The last option would be to prepare a new PC from scratch without connecting to the Internet. Copy the wallet installer from  USB to the new PC. Install SXC wallet onto the new PC. You dont need to sync the chain. Create a bunch of new addresses in the wallet. Do a "dumpwallet dumpt.txt" and write down all the key pairs on a paper or copy dump.txt file to a USB. Erase the PC by overwriting all the sectors on the HDD with a tool like Active Killdisk or Wipedrive.

2. Sending coins to a cold wallet
Send coins from your hot wallet to one of the public addresses from the key pairs you wrote down. Confirm in the blockexplorer that the coins are in the public address.

3. When you need to send coins
Import into your hot wallet the private key corresponding to the public key where you sent the coins to. The coins will now be in your hot wallet. Send the coins to exchange for example. Send remaining coins from your hot wallet back to the second public key of the key pairs you wrote down in step 1. Rince and repeat. When your key pairs run out or when you insert the USB to your PC with the hot wallet, repeat step 1 to get a new set of key pairs.

When stored offline in a cold wallet your coins are safe, unless you made an error writing down the key pairs, or when you insert a USB with the key pairs into a PC connected to the Internet then consider your key pairs less safe. Your coins in a cold wallet will be safe even if the chain splits as long as the coins were sent to the public key while on the correct chain. A hot wallet will import the coins from the key pair of a cold wallet when you resync a hot wallet to correct your chain as long as the coins in the key pair was sent there while on the correct chain.

Dev why the need for private key dumps? In crypto world it should never be necessary to dump private keys except for backup. Explain this a bit more as it seems risky.

I dont know the the Stratis teams delivery times for the platform, but the Gluon product looks solid, irrespective if the platform is ready or not. Very few ICOs have a working product. When the underlying platform is ready is just a matter of time.

I am interested to know how the uptake has been so far for using the distributed content management. For those of you with Ledger Nano S, there is a new firmware out v1.41. The new features look very good and the number of apps that can be installed has increased significantly to 18.

I think those Photoshopped green candles at the end is over optimistic. I am sure it is what everyone wants to see and many are desperate for it. However that might happen over the longer term. Decent will definitively get there just not immediately like the graph suggests.
