So the million dollar order was fake?
The sale was a _REAL_ sale. Its paid. Deal with it. do you even FUD? Where is the proof? BFL also announced a fake order of 1 mil $ through bitpay but i don't think anyone ever saw the transaction in bitcoins. Please show me some kind of proof for this sale. If it was in bitcoins then it's easy, if it was by wire they can post the transaction with everything blurred except the amount, but i don't think we will ever see it. the transaction was real. made by a canadian firm planning on reselling "mining contracts". stupid, yes

Why, that would just be plain stealing, wouldn't it, Mr. President?
no, if noone touches the coins for 50 years you'd be stealing from a dead person or someone who doesn't care to have them. common sense

|
TBH in the next few years they need to write a script
if bitcoin hasn't moved addresses in 50 years then block those coins and redistribute as block reward.
thatd be neat
|
|
|
it's 100% likely they split up their purchases into several addresses. for security and anonymity reasons.

to track clean vs dirty coins. will likely add avalon's coins to the dirty list for all the preminining they did and all the contracts they broke and all the illegal activity his company avalon was involved in. the hypocrisy of guo! maybe he's trying to get his chi back. i am pretty sure that the lawsuits against him will proceed regardless. seriously?! yifu leading the cause. what does the bitcoin community think link : http://www.forbes.com/sites/kashmirhill/2013/11/13/sanitizing-bitcoin-coin-validation/

If a single bitcoin hits 1000$, I would believe the USD and other currencies would be in a pretty bad shape, hence I'd rather keep what has more worth, the bitcoin.
Food for thought my friend.
are you sure you forgot a few 0s?! $1000 /btc is only few months away. it's only 3x away from $1000.

sounds like bytecoin may be for you. stop trying to monetize something that's not supposed to be monetized.
lol - stop trying to dictate the laws of economics. (Love me some Bytecoin, but testnet3 is still a good idea.) you love bytecoin so much you can buy all of them for less than 10,000 usd! such a bargain
