IMO, the problem is not that Bayern no longer has motivation in the Bundesliga, but it seems that the confidence and mentality of the Bayern Munich squad is a little problematic..
Bayern is just hopeless, not because they are bad, they feel it a waste of energy to keep fighting for the title. This is how the situation when a club have to compete against an a team that having an unbeaten run in the league. Having a strong consistency can put big pressure to rivals that can make them give up to keep chasing something seems out of their reach. this situation remind me of Liverpool in the season they won Premier League in 2019-2020 season. The had only one draw without loss till week 27 that makes Manchester City seemed losed their motivation to keep competing, and at the time, the points gap was around 20 points. Bayern surely have confidence and mentality, but the feeling of impossible to do anything to compete against a 'perfect' team is unavoidable. The pressure in a competition is not only there when they are being chased, but also when they are being left too far behind. Additionally, being a big club with prestige and high standard is another burden when they are not in favorable situation. I don't think it's an honourable decision for a big club like Bayern Munich who have won the German Bundesliga title for the last 11 years to decide not to give their best in games just because they're not likely to win the league title because of their points difference behind league leaders Bayer Leverkusen. I think Osimhen making a move to Arsenal would be more beneficial to the player and to the club. Arsenal presently has a capable coach that could take the club to great heights. And with him in an Arsenal shirt, I bet he would be able to win some individual awards as well as some club trophies. Chelsea has some quality players presently in its squad but they’re still inconsistent in their performances. I think if Osimhen makes the move to Chelsea, his abilities may not be noticed that much. He would likely be like Man United’s goalie Onana. Had a great run with his former club and not so great a performance with his present club. Almost all the news concerning Victor Osimhen's future are all mere rumours and have official statement from any of the rumoured clubs to confirm that they're really interested in signing the Nigeria international. Bayer Leverkusen without doubt is one of the best teams in the whole of Europe as far as this season is concerned and if we should compare their results against that of Liverpool this season, it obvious that Xabi Alonso's men will definitely come out as the better team but that doesn't mean that they'll beat Liverpool if both teams meet each in the UEFA Europa League final this season (considering the draw for the quarter and semi finals, that's the only way the two teams could meet). Liverpool is a more experienced team when it comes to European competitions and also have players that are more experienced in European competitions than their Bayer Leverkusen counterparts so if the two teams should meet each other, I think it'll be a very difficult game for both clubs.
