Just like last season, Arsenal are having a good start but lost their game yesterday and unfortunately for them, they're beginning to act like they'll decline in form again. I never expected them to be beaten at home by West Ham.

West Ham without doubt is a strong EPL club but I think Arsenal should have done better in that game

They said Ancelotti had given his promise to the Brazilian FA. I think those words mean nothing today after reading the latest news regarding Carlo Ancelotti's future as he has signed a new contract with Real Madrid. Maybe for Brazilian fans seeing this news is not an honorable act.

However, for me, this decision is very good for Real Madrid this season considering that they have the ambition to win La Liga and the UCl League with the best squad at the moment, even though they only lack a striker. Additionally, Real Madrid needs a tactical manager to not only play good football, but also so they can win. Ancelotti is a good leader and a good tactical manager.

I guess Ancellotti leaving Real Madrid was just rumour, now He will be in Real Madrid till 2026. I guess Real Madrid really can now wait for Xabi Alonso. Brazil definitely will be disappointed about the whole drama but I guess they will look for other options.

I don't think any coach will be able to perform this fine as Ancellotti have been doing especially this season with the injury crisis, He is definitely the coach every team would love to have at the moment.

AS Roma have played the same number of 18 league games with Feyenoord but the point difference between both teams is significant. While Feyenoord who are the second placed team in the Dutch league have been able to garner 38 points in 18 league games, their Italian counterparts are have only been able to get just 28 points and are currently sitting in the 7th position of the league table.

Though statistics sometimes doesn't work determine the result of important games like this, I think it somehow goes a long way to explain how good the both teams have been since the start of the season. Jose Mourinho will surely come up with his tactical experience, but I expect them to have a very difficult game against Feyenoord.

In the round of 16, they are up against a tough opponent, they've got enough weeks to prepare hard and build strong confidence ahead. They really can't afford to take a bow out of the contest at this stage. Although it's unpredictable but they're definitely boasted of to scale through and they have the right player quality too. Just a bit of increase in performance is needed. Although, their games in the coming weeks are definitely awaited.

Barcelona actually started the season in a very good note and were one of the best teams in the Spanish La Liga at the start of the season but hasn't been consistent in recent weeks and that has seriously raised eyebrows on wether they can have a good season both in their domestic league as well as in thei UEFA champions league. They managed to win their group in the UEFA champions league but will now have to face reigning Italian champions Napoli in the round of 16 of the competition and as we all know, Napoli is a strong Italian team that's capable of defeating any European club on their day because they have all the needed quality of players to it.
Barcelona is a traditional club when it comes to the UEFA champions league history but without taking anything away from them as a club, I don't think they are in the same category with other big European clubs like Bayern Munich, Manchester City and Real Madrid as far as this season is concerned.

The first 19 match weeks in the English Premier League have been played which also marks the end of the first half of the season and from every visible evidence, I don't Manchester City are gonna do what they did last season by coming from behind to defeat the rest of the teams in their the last 19 games of the season. Manchester City might not be at the top of the league table but have been impressive and recently won the FIFA club world cup but considering the performance of other big teams in the league especially Liverpool, it'll be very difficult for them to go past everyone and return at the submit of the table.
Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur's defeat yesterday was surprising to many including myself and I hope the two teams bounces back to winning ways and continue their fight for the league title

Very few persons would've predicted such results but those are the things you see in the English Premier League and why it's regarded as the most competitive league in the world.

Arsenal did compete for the English Premier League title last season and were close to winning it before they were beaten to the title by Manchester City in the last few weeks of the competition. Their consistency this season made me to tip them to perform better than they did last season or probably go on to win it this season but it seems that they're also gonna not gonna end the season with the title this season.
