401  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Couple of questions for GameFI projects on: September 25, 2023, 10:15:38 PM
1. Current Google search yields a lot of existing GameFI projects which were very successful at their launch. My question is, why their token/crypto prices decreased/died after a certain amount of time, despite those games still being played on a day-to-day basis? E.g. Axie Infinity.
It's because the hype died for those projects.

2. Is there ANY way to know how long/high the price(s) will reach before shooting down for a long time/permanently?
The market is volatility and even these gameFi projects are good as they are right now. You'll never know how long they're going to stay. Maybe through the charts if you're a trader, you'll get to see some signs of it when they're going down from it.

But if you're asking about certain signs, from its community and the news that circulates around it could give you some sign.
402  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Time to invest AI coins? on: September 25, 2023, 06:38:40 PM
It's always good to see that the newest technologies get involved in the use cases of new projects. What I personally believe is all the projects should have saved space for upcoming technologies so that they can keep upgrading for good. However, it doesn't change the fact that not all projects bear fruits, there could always be shit projects. Calculated risks, thorough fundamental analysis, etc. can help manage the risks involved with investing in any project.
You have just said it right.

Many are intriguing and interesting projects whether they are AI related niche projects or not. What matters most is how you're choosing a project being an investor.

These projects will always be there and you'll just need to make your own decisions rightly and thoroughly. Apart from that, it is your money that should be invested well.
403  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is life on: September 24, 2023, 07:10:48 PM
I see a lot of people here comparing gambling games to bitcoins I think those who do this are mentally ill because bitcoin is recognized as the best coin in the world and we see everyone's future in bitcoin and bitcoin price is so low now that's why we  Let's all buy Bitcoin now and it will be very beneficial for our future.
It's okay, no need to describe them like that. We've got different opinion about things and even we're all in bitcoin supporter, you just can't please people that have their different opinion towards bitcoin.

I'm not saying gambling is bad I'm saying no one should gamble because if you gamble you can lose everything your whole life income can go there that's why you trade bitcoins you light your future and gamble happy happy  Never get addicted to it and try to stay away from it.
Just gamble responsibly, we've got a lot of gamblers here that are also in Bitcoin. It's all about moderation and how you control yourself.
404  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Are Technical Indicators useless? on: September 24, 2023, 05:43:52 PM
Honestly, it's hard to survive trading and I've done that and got only few percentage of good trades and that's why I've stopped. I'm just trying to get back again and that's what I am applying to myself.

This is true since crypto is a volatile asset and we all know that volatile assets is very unpredictable. There’s a lot of indicators available for trading and most the so called TA analysts snip part of previous chart and apply an indicator that works on that particular scenario just to show off how good they are on trading but in reality they are just finding the right pattern on the given charts.

I hate trading on volatile assets as I learned my lesson on my many years on crypto. Holding is the best type of investment strategy since its less stressful and you can guarantee that you can have profit if you will not sell at loss.
I won't argue about holding as I have proven that to myself as well. Nothing is gonna hurt as well for me to try going with trades and so far, I don't have good trades for my recent trades.

But that's fine, these indicators that I am believing seems to be not working with what I have bought but what's good here on doing it on spot. I am not obliged to sell when I am not yet in profit.

Until I see the profit taking time, going back to the old style of holding.
405  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Are Technical Indicators useless? on: September 23, 2023, 11:55:28 AM
~snip~
There's no such thing about assurance and precision when it comes to technical analysis and same goes when it comes to fundamentals on which it doesnt really assure that it would really be making out some sure effects

within the market and this is why it would really be just that so normal that you would really be that versatile whenever you do see those unpredictable movement here on the market.
Technical indicators arent useless, it is really just that the market is really that unpredictable and also, what would really be your tools on dealing with this market if you arent using TA just because
you do see that its irrelevant?  Just like on what others been saying that on the time that you would really be stepping your foot into the market then you would be finding that relevant
on making use of these tools because stepping into the market without these things would really be making things harder.
Yup, I guess that's the key on this market and you've said it about being versatile.

So as flexible as the others, we need to have various strategies whether they're TAs, fundamentals or etc that will help us with our trades then that should what we should be applying to ourselves.

Honestly, it's hard to survive trading and I've done that and got only few percentage of good trades and that's why I've stopped. I'm just trying to get back again and that's what I am applying to myself.
406  Economy / Economics / Re: To afford personal education or a property? Where to allocate funds? on: September 23, 2023, 09:34:33 AM
People think nowadays that having a diploma would help us get a job easier which is actually a bit unreal because these days, companies and employers look for experience and skills and not just on educational back ground.
It is an advantage and there are companies that do value education because getting a diploma isn't easy. And from there, they'll have an idea that the applicant that's trying to ace a position in them have gone through a lot.

Although it is not guaranteed but it will help you get a call and job interview.

If I were to decide, I will choose both having a passive income while studying, why? Because it's hard to study these days if you don't have an income. It's better to secure our education while having a source of income than putting everything in one basket which might also cause us hardship in the future.
Better use the funds that we could only have once wisely. We can choose the path that we would want to take the smartest way.
If it can be done to do both, much better choose that path.
407  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Have a clear understanding of what DCA means on: September 23, 2023, 08:02:56 AM
However, it's important to note that DCA may not always work in your favor. In some situations, it could increase your average cost, especially during a bull run. Nevertheless, the purpose of DCA is to spread your investments incrementally, which can be advantageous in the long run. It provides a balanced approach to accumulating assets, ensuring you still acquire your desired cryptocurrency. I hope this explanation sheds light on the essence of DCA.
Despite being the best strategy that one can follow until the next bull run. There will be the pros and cons depending on the individual's situation. But for me, there's really no disadvantage on it because you're not obliged to invest a lot and you'll just do it religiously or when you're able.

The beauty of this strategy is that you're not pressured, you don't have a forceful plan that you need to fill it when you have or no money at all.

Stress free strategy but very effective.
408  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I can't keep up with the High gas fees on: September 22, 2023, 11:02:01 PM
Choose the network that has the cheaper fee. I am sure that most of the known altcoins today are also supported in various networks which you're allowed to choose if you're going to send them to anybody or to an exchange.

When I mention "high gas fees," I'm referring to fees that surpass the current charges imposed by Visa and Mastercard.
They are not just high in fees but also they're slow and takes time compared to crypto transfers. But if you don't pay the necessary fee, it may take a lot of time too.
409  Economy / Speculation / Re: Michael Saylor predicts Bitcoin can go to $5 million? on: September 22, 2023, 09:43:14 PM
I am eagerly waiting for btc to touch $500,000 before we talk about $5 million. Btc can't go parabolic based on its halving aspect but needs something extra, something big to even think of such targets that Michael Saylor is talking about. BlackRock may get it there (to my expected target) but we should not expect it to be timed near the halving or anytime soon because dollar is yet to get stronger and make things worse for global markets before the institutions truly understand the need of assets like bitcoin through which that problem can be solved to some extent. Looks like interest rates will increase and will make dollar stronger for more time before the bubble of dollar bursts.
That's how it should go.

Going with the lower price before it could go with that prediction that's certainly high. But it's not possible, we've got Cathie Wood saying $1M and Saylor for $5M.

It is unknown when these numbers will be filled by bitcoin and if they're going to be accurate with these predictions. While it is music to our ears but it's a music that might not sound in rhythm for now.
410  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Are Technical Indicators useless? on: September 22, 2023, 05:51:41 PM
There are times when indicators are very useful and there are times when indicators are not completely appropriate. This depends on market conditions. Sometimes there is a moment where market movements ignore the indicators that we usually use.
That's right.

Sometimes that really happens and we don't have control over it. Indicators could work for most times but do not be surprised if they don't work at all.

Of course, our mentality and emotions must be taken care of when what we usually use and apply in analysis when trading does not apply to market conditions, we must control or stop for a moment to observe market movements. It's better to avoid to maintain balance.
Avoid the market when you're unsure and even if you use indicators and they seem to be inaccurate, it's best to just take a rest but if you want to continue no one will stop you.
411  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: How did Ripple (XRP) become so popular and blow up in price? on: September 21, 2023, 06:42:23 PM
XRP is still popular these days it's because of the SEC case that they've won and that's why it's still in the top list of the market.
I don't think anyone would have noticed the SEC case if its price had not risen or had this market capacity.
There's still some news about it and when that news pop, the investors that are optimistic about it have came out.

I think it is closer to Dogecoin, which everyone will be silent when it does not start rising.
Yeah, when there's not that much action, they're just there silently watching it. But when the price starts to increase again, you'll see them left and right suggesting to buy it.

But I guess with the current bear market, every coin is down, but recently they won they court case against SEC so it might likely case the sudden spike in the price in the last couple of months.
Despite that, there's a little spike that eventually had gone down quickly.
412  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Mark Cuban's Metamask was hacked on: September 21, 2023, 05:17:54 PM
In any case, I am still very skeptical on this hack. Mark Cuban is not a newbie in the cryptospace.
I am also having doubts about the hack. He's a billionaire and he knows his thing. He's not been around to the cryptospace as if he's really a newbie.

No he's not.

But if this case is for real, then this just means that even the most experienced and rich people do really commit a mistake, an expensive mistake to say.

The skeptical me is thinking that Mark Cuban might have wanted to launder the coins in the wallet, however, the wallet is publicly known as his wallet. The only move he can make is have his wallet drained to zero, claim it was hacked and mix those coins where they cannot be detected anymore. He can presently buy new tokens and NFTs without public knowledge. It is also the best time to speculate on some undervalued NFTs again that could be bluechips on the next bull market.
Possible.

Didn't he gave any words about this since he's been in the headlines and news. He probably forgotten that eyes of everyone are all on these famous people like him and their wallets.

Well, obviously yes! Any person with ridiculous amount of wealth will be a primary target for any financial attacks.
Let's just say that it is every person whether with huge or small amount of wealth on their wallets can be targeted. These hackers don't choose their victims, everyone is their potential victim.
413  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How Bitcoin can provide Subscription Auto Renewal solution on: September 21, 2023, 04:02:52 PM
A third party and custodial can.

Bitcoin alone with the non custodial wallet, it's highly unlikely. There's already the detailed explanations above with that. So, it's like with exchanges that we've got accounts and that will serve as the bank that has that auto-renewal payment feature.

Honestly, if there are payments that I need to pay. I like it more when I do it manually.
414  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin holder are not maximizing the bitcoin potential on: September 20, 2023, 11:56:54 PM
Some traders prefer copy trading which is also a good thing if you choose a good Elite trader, I have seen an exchange that also has Bot copy trading which is already a plus in the arena of copy trading. There's also a passive income strategy anyone could practice and get the result they wanted
Copy trading is being suggested everywhere when there are a lot of newbies. It sounds good but you'll also see the other side of it when the trades done by that trader you're copying isn't good.

Well, there are the stats so that's the actual number that shows why you're going to choose the best trader that you're about to copy. It's an easy strategy, however it's still best to do what you can do and learn from it.

So, you're free to roam and go in every market you wish and do the trade. At the same time, if you just want to copy trade while holding, that's on you but holding is one of the best strategy that allows you to other things.

we can't say that for sure. sometimes, simple things you can forget, esp if you have lots of things to think about. so for me, he's also the same with us. you can commit some mistakes. and forget some few things.
the difference is, that amount won't make him bankrupt, his life still goes on. whereas, if it happens to us, i don't think we can recover fast. it is like your lifetime's savings already.
Yeah, I do get that even if we're here for too long. We've got some basic background technically of how to take care of our funds.

But with little mistake, this is for sure going to bring a lot of losses for him. It could be just a few percent of his wealth but for people like us, that's a lot.

He's just not careful at all and probably will discourage himself to get back on his shoes on this investment that he's got on the crypto market.
416  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: How did Ripple (XRP) become so popular and blow up in price? on: September 20, 2023, 09:59:57 PM
XRP is still popular these days it's because of the SEC case that they've won and that's why it's still in the top list of the market.

But if we're going to be back on the time when its ATH was shown and that was on 2017 for that $3.8. It's because we're on the bull run by that time.

And almost every altcoin did well by that time and all thanks to Bitcoin. People are still not aware of what actually it was so they invest.

418  Economy / Economics / Re: Population: Economic strength or weakness on: September 19, 2023, 09:43:34 PM
Population growth and the unplanned occurrence of this increase is a big problem for states. If the education level of the increasing population is low and qualified individuals cannot be raised, poverty begins in that country. This is inevitable. The population wants to be fed and economic power is needed to feed these people. If a population without added value emerges, big problems will arise.
This is what makes a nation worry when most of its population are having lack of education as it is also giving them limited opportunity. And when they have limited opportunity, that's not good for a country's economy.

To prevent these, studies should be carried out under the name of population planning. Anything unplanned brings trouble. Therefore, a planned population ensures that the population contributes positively to the economy.
Family planning and as well as putting a lot of budget in the education sector which is what most rich countries are doing.

Education is still the best asset that a person will have and that's why governments are investing on their own people for their studies and educations.
419  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: LAYER 2 projects to HOLD waiting for the next uptrend of the cryptocurrency. on: September 19, 2023, 08:45:11 PM
There are a lot of new L1 and L2 projects waiting for the bull market to start before launching. Some of these projects, like Q Blockchain, Lamina1, Mantle, have airdrop and incentive programs for people who participate in their network.
While there could be good new L1 and L2 projects. But the thing with them is that no all of it are worth it to hold.

They're good as the introduction but then will lie low afterwards and that's why it's not a good coin to hold. The three that was mentioned in the OP are the ones that has that potential as well.

Too many of them but they're like the ones that's showing where many are interested with.
420  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency beats having faits at every point on: September 18, 2023, 11:19:38 PM

A skeptic will remain as a skeptic for a long time but it doesn't mean that they won't change for the better. That friend of yours could have been skeptic to you even long time ago but soon he'll get to see how successful you are.

But that's not the point of it.

With his curiosity, everything is going to change when that matter ticks on his mind and it's becoming a more interesting question to him why you've been firm and keeps on doing what you've started as a bitcoin investor that does DCA.

You are right about firmness. because doing DCA is not an easy task. It needs consistency, and dedication to accumulate BTC The OP seems to be so optimistic that he thinks accumulating 1 BTC is not impossible, and indeed it is not impossible, and one can really accumulate 1 BTC easily, but the journey is so hard for one to follow.

And it might take some time to get some good results to prove your skeptical friend wrong. But the point should not be that, as you mentioned. The point should be. To accumulate as much BTC as one can. Either by doing DCA, lump sum, or buying at dips. Whatever the method is, after accumulation, they go through the phase of holding it for an extended period of time to make a profit out of it.

Dear OP I hope you will reach the goal of 1 BTC soon and god will help you.
As we look at these goals, sometimes we're already giving up if we're looking at the price and think that it's impossible to collect and acquire 1 bitcoin in the long run.

But that's the keyword, and that's how long we're going to stay in here. That's why as we stay for long, we're firm to our decisions and no one can change that because we've experienced how this market is so bad during the bear markets but it's also giving the best days of our lives.
