1381  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: My worst day in gambling on: October 10, 2022, 07:45:43 PM
Gambling is fun as long as you don't ruin your life with debt and damage to your family
And as well as ruining the others life, you shouldn't do that as you gamble because that makes gambling have a bad reputation because of things like that.

Be responsible enough and bring your own like how you're doing it with other things aside from gambling.

Days could be better sometimes and worse but make sure that you're not harming yours and any others.
1382  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Reason why online wallets are hack on: October 10, 2022, 01:50:33 PM
Please stop clicking on links that are not secure, and stop connecting your wallet on a website that you are not sure of, to prevent giving out your wallet phrase
A simple reminder yet still forget about this basic thing.

When they see some airdrops and free tokens, many users are connecting it without even questioning or reading the whole thing about those projects.

What they do is just connect it and do the simple task for them to be eligible for the airdrop that they're going to receive and anticipate but comes the unexpected.
1383  Economy / Economics / Re: Retailers make more profit than wholesalers during inflation. on: October 10, 2022, 11:32:54 AM
Well, that's the time they can take advantage of using inflation as part of their business. Supplies are getting more expensive and at the same time, they can put more for their mark up prices.

Just look at these oil companies, the OPEC has cut the supply while their retailers are going to take advantage of it despite having the supply on their tankers that has been there even before the price increase and the increased of inflation rate.

Well, they've been in the business for so long and they know how to play this game and they don't care that the consumers, us, are the ones sufferring a lot.
1384  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: When betting becomes to high on: October 10, 2022, 09:46:12 AM
When a situation like this occurs that you get hooked on playing, eventhough if it is not for financial need, it becomes an addiction. This is where gambling becomes bad. Every gambler has to know when to quit, whether they are having a bad day or a good day. I see those who linger at the table at the casino as being irresponsible. Play a few cards or dice and get out is the way to stay healthy in gambling.
And that's it, staying healthy while you gamble is the harder part.

It's easier said than done because it has happened to many gamblers that at first, they're reminding themselves that they should only gamble what they can afford to lose and get out when they had a losing streak.

But instead of stopping, they want to chase losses.
1385  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Where do you daily traders keep your crypto? on: October 10, 2022, 07:54:04 AM
You don't to buy another hardware wallet if you wanna trade. You can use that budget that you'll use for buying a new hardware wallet into addition fund and capital of yours as you trade.

Also do people who trade daily keep their coins in say uniswap, pancakeswap or those things.. do you keep the coins there or you move them to your metamask or hardware wallet daily?
It's not advisable to keep your funds into any of those for long term. Fees aren't that expensive anymore unlike before when people are lazy to transfer because of the fee.
1386  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: TAMADOGE to $1 soon? on: October 10, 2022, 06:39:35 AM
It has 1B supply.

https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/tamadoge/

And by the time that it has been launched since a month ago, the current price it got is already doubled. So, this is like the shiba version 2 mania craze that's trying to be built on this project?

I'm surprised to see that it has got a decent volume for the last 24 hours which means many do know about this or it's just a fake volume at all, no idea.
1387  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Naoya Inoue vs Paul Butler - Undisputed Bantamweight Bout - December 13 on: October 09, 2022, 11:49:15 PM
Just to be clear, I'm not a fan of Naoya Inoue but just referring to the close one that will happen in the match.

Even for let's say Butler is able to beat Casimero, still it doesn't change the fact that he is nowhere within Inoue's league.

People are not underestimating Butler without a good basis.
I find it interesting that there are the other side that thinks that Butler will win against Inoue. But to those that have seen how good really is Inoue, you'll be like us who have the idea why we're thinking like that.

But it's okay to think that it could be Butler getting this match because of what you have seen as well. So, it will end up that we could be wrong or it could be you when the time comes. Although, it's not a biggie really.

Upset can happen, we cannot deny that, other than that, people who think Butler has more chance of winning are simply expressing a fan's wish and is blind to actual statistics of both boxers.
Well, it's on them.

If that's what they think that shall be the outcome of this match then so be it as their opinion. But we know how numbers don't lie and it's favoring Inoue and that's why we have that belief that this is going to be his.

And not just that.

There will be a KO or TKO that will come to happen.
1388  Economy / Gambling / Re: Is this Gambling Bot real or fake? on: October 09, 2022, 11:03:25 PM
If someone doesn't know how to use a bot, they will never try to use a bot. and even he/she going to use bot the Then he/she must suffer loss.
That's to be expected for first time users.

There's the learning stage on how to use it properly and there goes when it's fully understood by the user on how to use it. It's not assured just because someone has it.

And if he unknowingly gives the bot the reverse permission, his computer could be hacked. So you must be careful when using bots
This is also for other software that an individual may download. A good reminder from those who likes to download almost anything in the web which includes those unknown free bots.
1389  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If this works out then gaming on the blockchain is going to another level on: October 09, 2022, 10:28:55 PM
That will be really on the different level and many gamers and ethusiasts will be happy with that idea. So, Zil is now stepping on the web3 integration and that's going to be the focus for gaming.

It's easy for us to just think how the integration will happen and will have some idea on how we'll experience new way of gaming because it's different from the P2E games that we did last bull run.
1390  Economy / Economics / Re: Unemployment Rate FELL, But why is the market going DOWN too?? on: October 08, 2022, 08:19:46 PM
That's just a small percentage for the decrease of the unemployment rate, well, it's good for the US but not that having much impact for the entire market.

There's not a lot of correlation if you're going to have that two connected.

Will robots take over? This is not a bad thing if we think about it, However, there is no denying that some jobs are being threatened. At least at this time instead of replacing jobs due to outsourcing.
Just like in the past, many jobs have been taken over because of modern technology.
1391  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: October 08, 2022, 01:12:05 PM
Currently, Kai Sotto's skills aren't enough to take him to the NBA and that may be the reason why he haven't got drafted recently. He got the height and advantage compared to the other players who are seeking NBA but he need to do more so that he will rise above others. Kai is now groomed up and his teammates even help him achieve his dreams. But Victor is different, teams in the league are already drooling to get him. Let's see who will be the lucky team soon.
Height is his asset but that won't be enough.

I've seen rookies that has got the height and not that much thick but performance wise, they can really make plays inside while him, he seems so lousy and needs more training.

IIRC, there were G League invitations for him but he has chosen other priorities than it. I guess if he went through g league, he's got more chance of being in.
1392  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Your thoughts on XRP atm ? on: October 08, 2022, 11:20:41 AM
Hey guys I was thinking about starting to DCA (dollar cost averaging) on XRP every week/month.I don't want to go all in as of now because we're a bit too far form the previous bottom (somewhere around 0.28$) so i want to take advantage of some inevitable price corrections as much as i can.

Do you think this is a good idea ? and for anyone holding XRP, what you're realistic target ?
DCA is a good idea but the choice depends on you. You know that you're in a bitcoin forum and most of us will tell you to DCA bitcoin instead.

But if that's what you think that will work for you then do it if you think that someday it will be way worth of what you've started. Look for the current issue that it's facing and that might change a bit of your decision.

1394  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is Dogechain? on: October 07, 2022, 10:47:20 PM
Still, many people and devs can't get over of what Dogecoin brought to the market as a meme coin. And up until now, they're capitalizing and trying to ride its fame.

If the Dogecoin developers disapproves then there's no need for it to be highlighted just because they've attached the name of Doge after it. This is the same as BTC and ETH that's always being romanticized and used.
1395  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Why reveal my identity to get bitcoins ? on: October 07, 2022, 09:46:19 PM
We can't do anything with that but we still have a choice to buy bitcoin without having kyc through dexes or p2p.
Which will likely come under increased scrutiny in the near future. So, while it might still be legal to do so in the future, it could be severely regulated, and the governments might require the platforms themselves to collect data upon signing up.

While I don't want KYC to become silly, I do think that's the path we're going down. Data is basically the gold rush these days, and the way Bitcoin is designed means the government has a easier way of rationalising any restrictions they put in place, including KYC.
True, that it's going to be like that in the future and that will be the way of the governments to still regulate it and with data being collected, they'll know their people who are into bitcoin.

So, they collect data, they know who are taxable and they know who have the most and least of bitcoin in the exchanges.

Despite them having no control the blockchain/network but they have found a way to at still capitalize and make themselves comfortable to hold and control those new oil of this generation.
1396  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: You need a BANK WALLET on: October 06, 2022, 11:51:35 PM
That sounds like a custodial wallet.

It's better to own a hardware wallet that supports those cryptos that you're holding and you're at peace of mind while you keep it there.

And also remember to keep your private keys safe
Whatever is that bank wallet that you keep and where it came from, what you have said is true about keeping the private keys safe. You have to keep it to a place that's not reachable or accessible by random people.
1397  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Why reveal my identity to get bitcoins ? on: October 06, 2022, 11:18:23 PM
It was expected because it's too big to ignore these days. That's why regulators are enforcing exchanges to implement KYC to their users. It's part of the growth that we're longing before to the market but not to this extent that most centralized exchanges will ask for it.

We can't do anything with that but we still have a choice to buy bitcoin without having kyc through dexes or p2p.

1398  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Naoya Inoue vs Paul Butler - Undisputed Bantamweight Bout - December 13 on: October 06, 2022, 10:50:53 PM
If it's coming from the eyes of the fans that are telling how good Inoue is, we can't change that. And the same goes for those that are counting on for Butler.

The same thoughts and ideas that we're having because we all think who's better based from the past fights that we've seen from them.

Assumptions are there and like if Inoue wins, he'll move to the next weight limit and try to dominate there.

I wasn't a fan of Inoue until he beats Donaire on their rematch.  I have seen how great a boxer Inoue is, and be able to make Donaire look like a rookie in their last fight.  Then watching all his fight made me conclude that Inoue is far greater in ability and punching power than Butler.  I also watched Butler fight, and it isn't impressive as Inoue despite the fact that many of Inoue's opponent are way higher in quality than Butler has faced.
True.

And that's what I think why many is eyeing for Inoue on this match against Butler. Donaire is a known boxer and also could be said going to the legendary status professionally.

But Inoue has beaten him not just once but twice and if there will be a third fight then for sure that many will start to eye him that he'll win for the third match.

It is understandable why many think that it is going for Inoue even if his opponent is Butler who has a significant good record.
1399  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Naoya Inoue vs Paul Butler - Undisputed Bantamweight Bout - December 13 on: October 06, 2022, 10:16:56 PM
Yup.

It is on Inoue for this match and majority of us here telling that he's going to get it. But it's good to see that there are the others who think that it might be Butler.

Again, an unending debate on who's going to win without having to see who's going to win yet. I guess that majority who thinks that Inoue is on it because of how we've seen him how truly a monster he is.

That's the basis for why most are giving such opinions. It's base from what we witness from Inoue's last fight.

Like what you just have said, a never ending debate until the fight come up and one was declared, then we can all conclude
who's the winner.

Both Butler and Inoue can claim the title after they finished their business beating one another. Till then all are just
speculations and opinions.
If it's coming from the eyes of the fans that are telling how good Inoue is, we can't change that. And the same goes for those that are counting on for Butler.

The same thoughts and ideas that we're having because we all think who's better based from the past fights that we've seen from them.

1400  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Strange question. on: October 06, 2022, 09:55:19 PM
I have only experienced that on Binance although not that low but below the actual cost of the coin. The other few exchanges i have tried happen to have their price automated and set to the actual value both for spot traders and p2p transactions. So even if you make such hilarious mistake it won't get confirmed and an error message will pop up
What are those exchanges that you've tried it on spot and said an error?

If you're on spot, it's just the same as with binance that you'll have to set a price and if someone peeks out and saw your price set at the lowest then they'll quickly snatch that.

Check it again maybe that's not really the exact thing that will happen if you put an order at a mistaken price and the lowest. I'm guessing that it's put into market and not limit.
