401  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How much power does Elon still have over the crypto markets? on: June 17, 2021, 07:22:05 PM
For the past months, we've all witnessed how Elon Musk affected bitcoin's price after his announcement that he is not gonna accept it as a payment for Tesla anymore. Recently, he announced that he will once again consider accepting bitcoin since he found a good energy source for bitcoin mining that is not that harmful for the environment. It later on led for bitcoin's price to grow once again. Even though it is just a speculation, considering the standing or the position of Elon as a billionaire widely affects other billionaires mindset.
402  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin’s time is now on: June 17, 2021, 06:21:35 PM
Time has shown which coin will be proven as a true crypto currency and it turned out to be BitCoin, not ShitCoin   Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy
As a capped asset and store of value, Bitcoin is a very promising store of value for everyone.  Smiley

More and more people will buy it and exchange ShitCoins to BitCoins.  Cheesy

Bitcoin has been very successful over the years regardless of the issues and hardships it faced. It has proven its position as the most successful crypto from the very beginning. Even though it is currently experiencing a crisis due to Elon Musk's influence and the threat of China banning bitcoin, it is slowly getting back up again. Soon we will witness another bull run again and bitcoin will once again show how powerful and successful it is right now. Nevertheless, there are still other crypto you can try on diversifying in so that you can gain more benefits form your investments.
403  Other / Archival / Re: BUY & HODL - is the surest strategy for crypto beginners on: June 17, 2021, 05:26:11 PM
Before committing to such strategies, it would be best if you would first learn about the crypto you will be investing in. For sure, buying during a dip and holding can be a simple strategy for a newbie to earn but there are still a lot of ways on how an investor can earn more without relying on such strategy. It does not work all of the time so might as well find some other ways on how you can benefit in crypto without depending on holding. Just be strategic and wise with your decisions, you wouldn't need to hold for a long time anymore not unless it is the only way, so start studying the coin you want to get involved with.
404  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Iran also wants to legalize crypto on: June 17, 2021, 05:03:53 PM
Considering the actions Iran committed before with regards to crypto, we can already tell that the table have turned. It will give a lot of advantage for crypto if ever Iran pursue legalizing crypto within their territory. Iran might have planned to ban crypto before but after witnessing what happened to El Salvador, sudden change of mind to their leader came in mind. We will soon see the effects and outcomes of it and if ever El Salvador becomes successful after legalizing crypto, Iran will soon follow as well as either countries that are aspiring to survive or lift up their economy.
405  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is my Bank on: June 17, 2021, 04:36:20 PM
Due to the covid 19 pandemic, I lost my job and my bank account was closed because I withdrew all my remaining balance to buy our necessities, at that time I was looking for another alternative to lost job in order to support my family's needs . Until I start trading bitcoin with small capital and thanks God because with the help of cryptocurrency we can continue to survive from the difficult time of pandemic.

Now I have accumulated a small amount to be able to reopen a bank account but I think that instead of opening a new bank account, it is be better to just buy and invest in bitcoin so that I can expect more profit than the traditional bank.

I know that investing in bitcoin is risky but I also believe that bitcoin has a good future.

I just hope I made the right decision.
Making bitcoin as your bank is a risky decision. You need to learn and understand how volatile bitcoin is so there's a high chance that the money you put in will either go up or go low. Investments will always be risky, it will depend on you on how you can handle the hardships that you may face. Bitcoin is a complex investment, there are a lot of things you need to consider before you can become successful with your investments. Your decisions will be considered right if you will hustle your way in into proper investment in it. Any investment, even if it is not in bitcoin, commit and you will surely benefit.
406  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: eth going strong on: June 17, 2021, 03:27:26 PM
It's been a long while ever since this post was created and as we can all still see, ethereum is still doing good. It was able to stay next to bitcoin up until now and we all know that it is never easy considering the hardships crypto is going through. Ethereum has a long way to go and it is one of the crypto who will survive even at the end of time. We will still be seeing a lot more in Ethereum so let us stay tuned and keep on investing on it. Stay faithful and stay patient, soon we will benefit from it if ever we take a risk from it. Ethereum is doing good and will keep on doing good even up until the future.
407  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is the most optimistic result of Bitcoin? on: June 17, 2021, 02:41:28 PM
I think the most optimistic outcome for Bitcoin would be to return to its roots, which is to play to the nature of bitcoin as a currency, as the opposite of global fiat currencies, coexisting with global fiat currencies and ready to replace the declining credit of fiat currencies, such as overissued US dollars.
In my opinion, one of the optimistic outcome bitcoin has given to its investor is the financial freedom they can never get as they continue using fiat. The government has caged our chances to get a chance to be wealthy because they are too greedy of getting all of the people's money. Actually there are a lot more optimistic outcome that bitcoin caused like improvement on one's responsibility and life. A lot of people are much grateful in bitcoin as they get the right timing for it and benefit a lot from it. Regardless of what's happening right now, let us keep on looking at the bright side of bitcoin.
408  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: There's no lottery ticket in Bitcoin, it's a savings account on: June 17, 2021, 04:24:39 AM
Many people end up mistaking bitcoin as a lottery ticket or an entrance to a wealthy life but if they would conduct research about it, they will learn that it does not happen over night. Patience and good strategy is one of the main requirements you need to meet so that you can benefit from your investments in bitcoin. If you are too lazy to consider finding out more about bitcoin, then do not expect too much from it considering that you don't even know how it works. You should always stay updated and knowledgeable so you can make your investments grow.
409  Economy / Economics / Re: Is money the root of all evil as the poor to thinks? on: June 16, 2021, 06:23:28 PM
The love of the money/any other things or greed is the root of evil in this world. The desire to abuse and use people just to gain more money exhibits greed clearly. The desire of humans to seek their greedy thoughts will never cease to exist because even if it is not in terms of finance, it can take on any form as long as abuse and overconsuming is present. The government or the politics is a good example of people who are greedy considering the fact that some countries never experienced prosperous years because the politicians are putting it in their pocket and turning their eyes blind for those who are in poverty.
410  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: another bullrun before 2021 ends on: June 16, 2021, 05:38:44 PM
I personally believe that there will be another btc bull run and alt run before 2021 ends.  what you guys think about it?

btc to 80000 or 120000 USD
I don't think we could expect another bull run before the year ends. Most likely, the dip would last for a long time and might get even worse but later on, when the time is right and the correction is right, another bull run that is much greater than what we had recently is expected to come. There is nothing wrong about predicting but observing the bull run that occured last 2018 and the bear market that followed, we can already tell that it wouldn't happen within a year span. Let us just patiently wait and believe that a much greater bull run will happen next year or in the next two years.
411  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH sheep, buy now? on: June 16, 2021, 05:08:54 PM
Hi Smiley I'm new to the crypto space. I'm looking at the ETH graph and I'm unsure if I should buy now. But its at an all time high, and I was taught to buy low sell high. I really don't want to be a sheep, but what if the price keeps going up? Should I just wait for it to go down and just buy the dip?
Actually the market is quite down right now and it could be a good opportunity to buy ETH. Since bitcoin is the price setter of almost every altcoin in the market, considering the dip it is currently experiencing affects all the other altcoins. If you're still too afraid, you can wait for a bit and monitor the price movement for ETH but I would advice that you check out on other altcoin as well so that you can diversify your investment which can later on lead to higher profits from your investment. You can also try taking a little risk by investing an ample amount of your savings and check out if it would work out for ETH.
412  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is Bitcoin a business or an investment? on: June 16, 2021, 04:34:58 PM
Bitcoin becomes what you want it to be based on how you use it and earn it. You can consider it as a business if you take it in the form of one and it can also be considered as an investment if you are currently holding and buying it for the mean time. There are a lot of ways on how you can earn from bitcoin, you do not need to be stucked into the confusion of what it really is because it is the user who defines what it is in their lives. Bitcoin is a complex tool that can be used in many ways which will lead to your advantages in life and also in the future.
413  Economy / Economics / Re: Money and happiness. on: June 16, 2021, 03:58:53 PM
There is a popular opinion in the locale that "A man who has money doesn't easily get angry or offended, lol". This statement goes the other way as well, that "A man who doesn't have money is easily offended by everything and everyone".

I have put this statement on analysis a lot in mind, trying to watch my mood and correlate my happiness with the amount of money I have each time. Everytime it seems like i have overspent and almost becoming broke, there is a feeling of irritation and sadness that comes with it. Also when i get some credit alerts, there is an associated joy.

I know it is not proper to tie your happiness to finance, but i did some research into the subject and found a study that was conducted with the result that happiness increases with the amount of money one makes up until a point  where there is no greater degree of happiness from making money, but unhappiness if ones income drops beneath that range.

(See study here - https://www.cnbc.com/2017/11/20/how-much-money-you-need-to-be-happy-according-to-wealth-experts.html)

What is your opinion on the subject of "money & happiness"?

Some can say that money can't buy you happiness but for me it can buy you piece of mind and comfort which are some key features in achieving a happy life. Money while being earned most of the time gives us stress but after it gets earned, all of the exhaustion and madness we have inside of us goes away specially if you recieve high salary each month. Money and happiness are correlated to each other, I don't know if there's a study that says so but in my opinion, both are tied together forever even on your last days. It can be the one that extends your life which will make you feel happy if you still want to live.
414  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Reasons to Invest in Bitcoin?? on: June 16, 2021, 03:27:41 PM
There are a lot of reasons why you should invest in bitcoin. I'll mention some of mine. First is because it prepares us for the future, we all know someday bitcoin will have a special spot on the world's financial system. Next is because it enhances your living in many aspects, not only financially but also your strategic and earning skills. Lastly, it helps you grow as a human being each and everyday as you find new ways on how you can cope up on the continuous changes happening in the market. It's not all about the money but also your well-being that is being improved as you invest and commit to bitcoin.
415  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What prevents someone from "giving" themselves more Bitcoin? on: June 16, 2021, 03:00:25 PM
Hi, I've heard about Bitcoin for ages now and I understand the massive potential it has. I'd like to say I understand its features such as the blockchain technology and the ability to mine more, but I must admit I have much to learn.

My question is in the title. It may sound really stupid and I know that there certainly is a way to prevent someone giving themselves more bitcoin, but let's say I have a cold wallet with 1 bitcoin on it. Could someone somehow change the code in a way and make it into 2 bitcoin? Like to me it just seems like a number that represents the number of bitcoin you have.

Thank you for bearing with my stupid question, but it's been bugging me for a bit.10.0.0.0.1 192.168.1.254

There's nothing wrong with your question no matter how simple you see it, you can always ask if you are willing to learn. One of the main reason why one is too afraid of giving themselves or making theirselves earn bitcoin is because of ignorance. As they enter the market, they lack wisdom with regards to what they enter to which leads them to fear making a move or start investing. If only people learn as much as they can first, no matter how many FUD's they see in the forum or negative views in the news, they would know what to do and they will always find a way on how they can earn bitcoin regardless of what may come in their way.
416  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If governments block Bitcoin, does Bitcoin have no value? on: June 15, 2021, 10:54:00 PM
Regardless of how much power the government may display, no matter how many times it tries to restrict its citizens from using bitcoin, people will always find a way to access it no matter what. The government does not have enough capability to block or completely shut down bitcoin. Also, bitcoin is a decentralized currency which means the government or any other organization does not have power nor control over it. Do not be too afraid of seeing countries banning bitcoin because it wouldn't last long and investors will still find a way on how they can access and earn profit from it.
417  Economy / Economics / Re: Why is bitcoin (crypto) worth anything at all?? on: June 15, 2021, 03:04:56 PM
I think the value of bitcoin or any other crypto starts within you. With how you percieve it, with how you give importance to it and with how you provide time and effort for it. No matter what type of currency, the worth of it is decided on how much people are demanding and using it. The law of supply and demand would always apply on how a certain currency becomes more valuable and that can also be one of the reason why banks are not allowed to make too much paper money other than the detrimental effect it may cause for a country's economy.
418  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The bull market still exists on: June 15, 2021, 01:30:32 PM
Due to the issues and news bitcoin went through, the price of it indeed went down but that doesn't necesarrily mean we already exited the bull run. If you would take a look at the price movement and the price drop as well as price increases for bitcoin and other altcoins, you can see that the bull market still exists. It is just that many people are trying to push the fact that it has already ended and displayed too much FUD to discourage other investors as they take advantage of the current situation. Always make sure you analyze the market carefully so that you wouldn't end up falling into unreal situations that may lead you to disadvantages and regrets.
419  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is this a correction in before altseason 2021 ? on: June 15, 2021, 12:57:40 PM
It's been a while since crypto went on a great ride and many people are already enjoying their investment and it seemed like the altseason has already came way before we even noticed. Right now, the market is indeed on a correction but it is not for the preparation for the altseason because it has already came already. The correction we are experiencing right now is for a new and a much better bull run for bitcoin in the future that will pull up other altcoins as well. We should mind our investment and trust that the current dip will soon end and altseason will come once again.
420  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: When will be bearish market over?? on: June 14, 2021, 04:41:47 PM
No one can actually be certain yet on how long will this bear market last but one thing is for sure, bitcoin will soon get a new ATH after this and all of us who chose to hold and believe in it will benefit a lot. Some says the 4 years cycles of bitcoin will repeat once again wherein as you recall the times when bitcoin experienced a bull run, it is on every gap of 4 years. If ever that is real and the pattern is really like that, then it will be a long while before we see another bull run nevertheless, it is sure that bitcoin will soon recover and get a new ATH once again.
