Guys, Bitmain is planning a $50 million dollar foray into mining in the USA. One could reasonably assume that they would not want to flood the future market with competitive commercial servers. They started issuing these batch warnings on twitter shortly after their announcement that they are coming onshore here. Since those Batch warnings this site has been FUBAR. EVEN after they supposedly upgraded their servers. I also find it VERY suspicious, that the ONLY posters in here that claim to have gotten through are completely new posters with very low post counts. I may not be the brightest bulb in the house, but I can tell the difference from when it's raining and when someone is pissing down my back. I smell rotten fish.
I agree 100% with what you said Ben I think its Alibaba and chinese resellers playing games. I wouldn't buy those units f or Re-sell value. Watch if ppl don't buy them there will be another sale in 1 week, because no one is buying those d3s at 2x and 3x price of the original. Infact I am planning on boycotting Bitmain and there chinese reseller games... from what i heard they weren't purposely processing English website orders only chinese orders with vouchers what a scam. |

I have spoken to over 10-15 ppl in slack and in forums they all report the same thing, not a single reliable person has said there order went thru or the payment option showed up. Looks like either Bitmain never sold D3 or some one played a masterful game, hopefully we find out soon enough. Very frustrating for ppl wanting to buy D3 and now they are showing up on Alibaba for 3x price for november etc. |

If I have just 1 of these is it safe to run it off an american standard 110v outlet with say a evga 1600 psu? (Can you use bitmains PSU in a 110v outlet?)
You can use APW3++ which is 110v evga 1600w should work but use it at your own risk some people on L3+ have reported burned out board with other PSU So sorry, to confirm I can use the bitmain psu on a regular 110v outlet? With no deficiency of any sort? Yes you can use 110v outlet but 220v is more efficient. You can use APW 3++ on 110v no deficiency but 220v is more efficient. |

Right now the ROI is 1/3 that, but of course we're expecting the difficulty to rise by the time they ship. 12 month ROI - assuming that's how long it will actually take - is very good relative to traditional investments where those kinds of profits only exist in your imagination. Yeah but anything over 6 months is risky in crypto world i remember when original butterfly came out a lot of people never got the money back.
