SUMO POW fork in aprox. 20 hours!!

Its been brought to my attention from multiple points that this version will OC Baikal Giant B! Compiling and using my version it will deliver ~10-15% more hashes on LBRY than stock version based on pool side results. Great news for Giant B owners, which im not..!! :-S
Some changes in code and it will deliver even more. Will add a new post when i`ve had access to a Giant B.
Awesome, but we both need Giant N ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif)

Chci se zeptat ví tady někdo co znamenají všechny tyhle staty?
Politeness: 5 fMerit: 57 Imagination: 2 Virtue: 6 Coins: 24 Karma: 0

Don't forget to update miners for SUMO before April 4 April 3 and Monero April 6!! List of supported miners in the first post. For SUMO currently only XMR-STAK 2.3

Cryptonight ASIC I think is very quiet in general. It does not put out very much heat so no real reason for massive cooling.
Yeah, fan 5%t quiet, mine only does that high pitch sound like old transformer or something like that.

|
At the end did you receive your miner from asicminermarket?
If so, how long they took to ship it?
thanks!
I think 10 days.
|
|
|
Ehm.. Just noticed.. Its twice the size of Giant N and contains twice the amount of chips... :/ Oh yeah, seems so. Too bad that the Asicminermarket didn't send 2x Giant N to the ones who paid first. At least I've paid with LTC at almost double exchange rate ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif) They have again 72 hours shipping in other words 2 weeks ![Roll Eyes](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/rolleyes.gif) ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif)

What the fuck... Yea, hope so! Still dont see a Cryptonight V7 section there. If any one can get their hands on a giant n plus miner, would be great to have that firmware to check! It should be on Github once they start to ship.

You said: "The optimal parameter for the threads and blocks option in config.txt depend on your GPU. For all GPU's with a compute capability >=2.0 and <6.0 there is a restriction of the amount of RAM that can be used for the mining algorithm. The maximum RAM that can be used must be less than 2GB (e.g. GTX TITAN) or 1GB (e.g. GTX 750-TI). The amount of RAM used for mining can be changed with "threads" : T, "blocks : B". T = threads used per block B = CUDA blocks started (should be a multiple of the multiprocessors M on the GPU) For the 2GB limit the equations must be full filled: T * B * 2 <= 1900 and B mod M == 0. The value 1900 is used because there is a little data overhead for administration. The GTX Titan X has 24 multiprocessors M, this means a valid and good starting configuration is "threads" : 16, "blocks : 48" and full fill all restrictions 16 * 48 * 2 = 1536 and 48 mod 24 = 0. The memory limit for NVIDIA Pascal GPUs is 16 GiB if the newest CUDA driver is used."
I don't realy undestand from where is 2 and 1900 in that formula.
Please, explain to me, because I'm a newbie, what is the exact formula for T and B, for this card: nVidia GTX 1060 3GB, compute cap. 6.1, SMX 9, for Windows 10 x64bit, 8GB RAM, CUDA 9. My rig has 6 of them. Thanks!

FB stopped giving all data, so no more FB for Sether.
"The process to integrate Facebook into Sether takes some time. Our application is finished and under approval. Due to the recent media uproar, Facebook is reviewing its API integration rules and it will probably take longer for this alignment to happen. This means that registering on Sether with your Facebook account and holding Facebook influencer campaigns are currently unavailable. Sether 1.0 Beta only allows Twitter for campaigns and influencer registration. Sether 1.0 – the next release – will offer integration with owned media, Reddit, Instagram, Telegram, Bitcointalk and, of course, Facebook." I read that, but today I've read that FB stops giving data to everybody. Binance requires high volume and a product with high demand for it, once the costumers will start using Sether they will have to buy on exchanges so the volume will rise in any exchange.
Actually, it's enough just to pay them and they will list Sether or it was, not sure if they changed it.

I cant believe cunts had the asics since november and didnt even bother to remove the address from the miner before shipping.
What were the addresses? I had preset pools and wallets in Giant N too, but I replaced them with mine immediately, didn't even think about check them.

Hey man, have you checked if your baikal miner fpga or not?
It's ASIC.
|
|
|
did you mine with baikal giant N now? how much the powerdraw of that asic, sir?
Yes, but i have not checked power draw at the moment, but its around 60w, no doubt. Produces no heat with fan at 20%. I haven't checked that too, but I've set fan to 5%, still 32°C only.

Just one question: How can you use ddu if your vbios is flashed to a non uefi modded vbios?
You don't need to use safe mode.
|
|
|
We need Wolf here

Awesome, so what possible tweaks could be made? Intensity or something?
Fan speed? :-D From my findings, both clock and algo is limited to firmware on the ST chip. Maybe a brighter mind can figure out some more, its out in the public: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3206908.0So fan speed and api port? That's cool ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif)

@Mattthev are the bioses on your website result of PBE2.2? i mean if i know how to work with PBE is it the master KEY for all GPU? or your bios sell separately have another special timing that is not in the PBE 2.2
Mattthev can you answer this too please Yes, all are from PBE 2.x. Some older Pro bios use timings that are tweaked more in PBE 2.2.
