LoyceV did you even read why I still tag the user?
I wouldn't be tagging every forum rules breach.

This is merely to attract attention to the fact that he was someone else. If someone was to deal with him he could look at the person's doing on the other account.

Also a person that has been proven evading ban could be tempted to use his last days on the forum to do harm. The tag is merely trying to mitigate that.

As for your judgement I do not think it is off. It is not the first time I thing nemo's judgement is.

Also as you pointed out, the fact the user had 2 positive feedback was taken into consideration. I do not tag every ban evader I find. In fact there are some I do not even report if I am being honest.

4123  Other / Meta / Re: Ban evasion - rchstr on: May 13, 2019, 09:40:23 AM
Ban evader needs to be reported and will be handled by moderators when they found enough proof on the report,

Second time I feel like putting the word stupid in the subject...

Mods & DT's are doing something fundamentaly different.

DT's are warning the community that the person might not be trustworthy.
Moderators are here to enforce forum rules.

Ban evasion is a breach of forum rules. It also means said account is owned by a person that has been banned. The fact he broke the rule and came back shows he can't be trusted, hence the tag. This doesn't mean the mods don't have to do their work tho.

While you are right that they need to be reported, which I did, they also need to get tagged so that they can't do any harm until the report is handled.

If you see a little girl get strangled in the street by a teenager, will you take a picture and go to the police to get the to arrest the guy, or will you save the girls life? Your call.
Anyway, putting you in ~. Your judgement is way off in my opinion.
4124  Economy / Reputation / Re: Fake Malaysian Translator on: May 13, 2019, 06:39:16 AM
I lived in KL ( Malaysia ) for quite sometime, i know for a fact that malaysian language ( bahasa melayu) and Indonesian language  are pretty much the same ( with minor differences), so it is no surprise that someone who comes from Indosesia can professionally translate some text to Malaysian.

THis is like saying a Canadian can translate into french. Which is not the case.

Minor differences can become huge and be spotted right away by actual natives. It also makes the translation task extremely difficult because it is not natural.
4125  Other / Meta / Re: [RELEASED] @mention notification bot - now with Telegram on: May 13, 2019, 06:37:33 AM
This is getting out of hand.

Luckily I am still receiving my own notifications hehe.

What would be interesting is to see if your mentions get posted on bitcointalk again if you deactivate telegram function, or if this is mixed up also, and the other persons telegram gets deactivated  Roll Eyes

4128  Local / Hors-sujet / Re: Gilets Jaunes Vs Bitcointalk on: May 13, 2019, 06:30:58 AM

4129  Local / Hors-sujet / Re: Gilets Jaunes Vs Bitcointalk on: May 12, 2019, 07:41:05 PM

4130  Other / Meta / Re: Ban evasion - rchstr on: May 12, 2019, 07:39:26 PM
Why do you guys even indulge him?

This is really not the place to argue about this with him for the zillionst time.
4131  Local / Altcoins (Deutsch) / Re: welche bountys signaturen lohnen sich am meisten??? on: May 12, 2019, 07:38:39 PM

4133  Economy / Services / Re: [DANISH <-> ENGLISH] Cheapest Danish translator service around! on: May 12, 2019, 06:36:21 PM
It is a translation gig, if someone sends me a terribly written, english guide to quick loans i am not gonna write new content because it repeats itself unnecessarily etc.

You are not supposed to write new content. However translating is RE writing. So if the original is crappy a translator IS supposed to take the meaning out of it and make it a decent text in his language without excluding informations.

If it is poorly writting you are not supposed to stick with it.

Then again these feedbacks could have been given by anyone. I strongly suggest to find a dane on the forum that can corroborate what you are saying if you hope getting hired here.

And if you are really good, I wonder why you get through the trouble for 15$. I know how much times it takes to do a good translation of 1k words, and given the living cost in DK, 15$ is just a complete waste of your time, hence the suspicion.
4134  Economy / Speculation / Re: This is getting a bit out of hand.... on: May 12, 2019, 06:14:41 PM
That's what I'm talking about.  Unfortunately when bitcoin starts to skyrocket, it attracts new money--and not necessarily smart money, either.  It would be very easy for the price to blow up to levels that just aren't sustainable, like in 2017.

Good thing is, the higher the market cap, the more bitcoiners, the more money you need to have this effect. So over time things should be stabilizing. It is just a matter of time.

Hell in 10 years gold might have higher volatility than bitcoin!
4135  Economy / Services / Re: [DANISH <-> ENGLISH] Cheapest Danish translator service around! on: May 12, 2019, 06:10:27 PM
$15 for 1k words? That is around 10 times cheaper than a decent real translator.

I highly doubt you are legit with such prices Wink

Anyway nobody should hire you without endorsement by danish foreigners and a public portfolio.

There is this on your fiverr

If the content is bad, please let me know before proofreading it. Proofreading a "crappy text piece" wont do me any good anyway so please let your clients know if the content is crappy. Fortunately I was able to check with DK-friend before loading up the content on my website.
4136  Other / Meta / Re: Ban evasion - rchstr on: May 12, 2019, 06:08:53 PM
There's no mean of tagging a member for ban evasion. Report, moderator will handle it.

Again, couldn't care less about your opinion and/or misguided advice.

Habe hier einen ziemlich interessanten TA thread gefunden.

Wäre neugierig zu hören was die Profis hier davon halten?

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5128394

4139  Other / Meta / Re: Ban evasion - rchstr on: May 12, 2019, 06:02:09 PM
Tagged him in the meantime.
Tagged are so worthless these days and don't serve its purpose just because people are using it so randomly.

And you are bringing this debate here because?

Couldn't care less about what you think about it, the only way for it to work is everyone using it like they believe it should be. Trust "voting" will take care of the rest.

If people disagree with you, it's not a bad thing Wink
4140  Economy / Speculation / Re: This is getting a bit out of hand.... on: May 12, 2019, 06:00:57 PM
I don't see a problem to go back to $6k. I'm not saying I believe it will happen, but I wouldn't be surprised if it would.

I'd rather have a steady slow continious increase than a bubble/burst like candle that will eventually fall even harder.

I thought movements like this are getting less and less frequent with bitcoins increasing liquidity and usage worldwide, but I guess it is still too early.
