Is anyone else a little concerned that Bleutrade wallets are in perpetual maintenance, and there's no update on their twitter or their official BCT thread?

I would suggest not moving any new resource to Bleutrade until they get things sorted out, and removing any resources you are able to as a precaution.

0.003 here we come Smiley
I don't think it will be too much longer, then back to 005's.

Good work, guys. This is what becomes possible when a community builds up trust over years, rather than hours.

[update:  Chainz is now prepaid for the next 18 months.]

From what I've been able to find, Blazr2 created unobtanium and 23skidoo amongst other crypto innovations/curiosities. Does anyone know if this dev is alive? or free? or in prison? but hopefully just changed handles for security reasons.

Blazr2 told me me he lost his account on bitcointalk after one of the hacks here. He wasn't able to reset his password. He resurfaced as HagbardCeline, and proved he had access to some Uno keys.
After launching Prototanium, he hasn't been heard from.

Tokens he launched:

23Skidoo
Offerings to Cthulu
Unobtanium
PandaCoin (a coin for hire by Wolong)
Flaxscript
Prototanium

I'm sure I'm missing some.
My hope is that someday soon he'll show up again.

Is anyone feeling generous today?  Our Chainz blockchain explorer could use a tip.

Someone has been devouring the order book again today.

I just did the math;  when it hits .0031, UNO will be a top 100 coin again.

Getting to .0031 would only take 1.5 Bitcoin on Bittrex at present offers.

Top 100 currencies on Coinmarketcap.com is a good page to be on.  Investors notice coins there, run screens on it, read up those coins. You can't keep Uno down for long. A cork must rise to the surface.

In reference to bots:

I get why so many people don't like them but honestly that whole tactic of trading with yourself may sound stupid; yeah you may lose fees in the process but your also causing other bots to trigger their preset buy/sell price ranges and hopefully gaining from it.  Shit you might even trigger some human emotion and have someone buy up or sell out their own stash.

Bots are quite useful in any exchange/trading scenario. My personal fave: https://github.com/adlai/scalpl ..... there are also several other well-written and extensible bots with altcoin support, but scalpl is relatively easy to tinker with to your liking, since it is written in lidp.

Anyone who wants to get a flavor for how trade bots work, but don't feel comfortable programming their own, checkout Sampey's CAT trade bot.
I leave it running to close certain markets. It just sits there minting bitcoin a few hundred/thousand sats at a time on simple ping pong orders.  Some days I set more aggressively, but unattended and overnight, I just play it simple. Here's some of the stats from a very conservative overnight on markets where I try to keep the spread reasonable.

Cool thing is that Sampey will accept UNO payments for CAT.  Its well supported, simple, and if you don't get too greedy its not very difficult to make money. It runs on quite a few exchanges, including Cryptopia (yes it does all of the UNO markets), Bittrex, Polo, C-cex, and, etc, etc.

Here's the UNO markets page

My gut says Uno is going to .005 in the not too distant future.
There's just nothing in the way of it.   A nice slow walk up the ramp always looks good.
Accumulators snapping it up to 002, soon it will be 003, then...

Let Bitcoin do its thing. We've seen it before. Investors will jump into undervalued alts when a top signaled.

Just 2 BTC doubles the prices of UNO from here on Bittrex.   Very little UNO for sale here.

Interesting to see UNO gaining against Bitcoin.

It doesn't take much to move it up from here.  There's just no UNO for sale at these prices.  Maybe when it gets back up to .005 we'll see some put on the table.

Not much going on in the Unoverse today, apparently.

I'm managing 5 nodes at AWS right node, all Windows.
I'd be glad to provide RDC access to them to someone who could setup electrum.

Alternatively I could shut those down, setup Linux servers and just turn them over to  you, Cryptapus. Smiley

Regarding wallet issues: If many people are experiencing issues getting the wallet to work then that should be #1 priority right now, as SirSmokesAlot said. Many people are not patient enough to go to the forum and fuss with this. Maybe next month a billionaire will take interest in UNO but quickly move on after the downloaded wallet couldn't connect!

Two: recently set up a Litecoin Electrum. It was like travelling on a cloud.

Yes, Electrum is awesome.  The Electrum UNO port is equally awesome.  Go get it, https://cryptap.us/uno/electrum

You all want me I make this the suggested default option on Unobtanium.uno?  I think people will be happier with it.
435  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [UNO] Unobtanium Info & Discussion - Update to 0.10 Wallet - Merge Mine w/BTC! on: February 21, 2017, 01:54:16 AM
My recommendation of a Windows wallet for newcomers is Electrum UNO (https://cryptap.us/uno/electrum/ ).    It's easy to use, no conf file to mess with, and no blockchain to download.  It removes several points of failure.

I'd like to see 2 to 3 more Electrum servers online, and I'm willing to fund one if someone can help set it up.

Yes, it sure wouldn't hurt to have someone trusted compile a new Windows wallets with updated seed nodes.

Anyone with the know-how can compile a wallet from Bryce's Uno-official git.
Anyone can send pull requests with changes and improvements back to Bryce for inclusion in his Uno-official git. He would LOVE to see someone do that.

Probably the easiest way is just to open your wallet Console, then type

addnode 5.9.93.107 add  <enter>

You should be able to download a sample Unobtanium.conf file from this link:  http://unobtanium.uno/download/Unobtanium.conf.zip

I was able to download it.  I suggested editing the file and pasting these recent nodes to the bottom of it:

addnode=104.172.24.79
addnode=107.194.84.134
addnode=136.243.217.171
addnode=138.201.65.88
addnode=144.76.151.198

addnode=74.120.220.54
addnode=75.19.27.28

Okay, I have downloaded the conf file, and jemmied it correctly (?) into the appdata file. (When I try to download that file here -- https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=527500.msg11422814#msg11422814 -- the file opens but doesn't download.)

It seems best that I not try to add the new set of addnodes: it's an added task.

And . . . the QT still doesn't work.

EDIT: debug log shows:

'GUI: libpng warning: iCCP: known incorrect sRGB profile

If you install Teamviewer from Teamviewer.com, I can log in there and take care of it for you. Just PM me Mark and we can setup a time.
I know, it's a pain in the ass.

Alternatives include Cryptapus' Electrum, JSWallet, Co-Pay online wallet, or on Android - Coinomi, Uberpay, or the Unobtanium wallet.

If they were paying 0.2% fees on that kind of volume wouldn't that be $400+ in fees for the ~7 weeks they've been doing this? Something doesn't add up to me. That would only make sense if that person has a large share of UNO & were trying to set up a long-term play. If they were just being overzealous, my advice would be to save those efforts for when UNO is actually at risk (like the Bittrex de-listing warnings that occur a few times a year). But also, if you are going to inject volume into the markets when things are quiet, know that it's not necessary to blast a firehose of fake volume. In regards to increasing volume the best move would probably be to keep legitimate orders on the books. Just put a buy order for 200 UNO at 0.00135 & a sell order at 0.00140. Maybe this person does that as well, I'm just saying that would actually contribute to the health of the markets while having the effect of increasing volume, just not as dramatically.

I can't argue with wanting to support UNO or UNO's image, and I can't argue with supporting Cryptopia through trade fees. But when Cryptopia is literally saying, "No, stop giving us so much money," it would probably be better to just spend that money on accumulating UNO. I suppose it would be nice to have unadulterated trade volume data for the record, but it hasn't bothered me much.

When you allow bots, and when you have a currency like UNO that trades again 300 other currencies, all kinds of interesting an arbitrage opportunities exist and can be created.
If you want to spur activity in the Cryptopia UNO/Alt markets, just post a higher buy bid for UNO in the bitcoin market.  That gets the bots working hard.

I get what Cryptopia is saying. But I could careless about what legit traders can do with bots. We're all working against each other anyway. It's only when exchanges get into the bot trading that I get really concerned.  MtGox had Markus and Willy.  Cryptsy had gawd knows how many bots working for Vern.   Its unfair to trade against exchange bots because they're always faster and cheaper than your bot. Other bots are fair game.
