421  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency beats having faits at every point on: September 18, 2023, 11:19:38 PM

A skeptic will remain as a skeptic for a long time but it doesn't mean that they won't change for the better. That friend of yours could have been skeptic to you even long time ago but soon he'll get to see how successful you are.

But that's not the point of it.

With his curiosity, everything is going to change when that matter ticks on his mind and it's becoming a more interesting question to him why you've been firm and keeps on doing what you've started as a bitcoin investor that does DCA.

You are right about firmness. because doing DCA is not an easy task. It needs consistency, and dedication to accumulate BTC The OP seems to be so optimistic that he thinks accumulating 1 BTC is not impossible, and indeed it is not impossible, and one can really accumulate 1 BTC easily, but the journey is so hard for one to follow.

And it might take some time to get some good results to prove your skeptical friend wrong. But the point should not be that, as you mentioned. The point should be. To accumulate as much BTC as one can. Either by doing DCA, lump sum, or buying at dips. Whatever the method is, after accumulation, they go through the phase of holding it for an extended period of time to make a profit out of it.

Dear OP I hope you will reach the goal of 1 BTC soon and god will help you.
As we look at these goals, sometimes we're already giving up if we're looking at the price and think that it's impossible to collect and acquire 1 bitcoin in the long run.

But that's the keyword, and that's how long we're going to stay in here. That's why as we stay for long, we're firm to our decisions and no one can change that because we've experienced how this market is so bad during the bear markets but it's also giving the best days of our lives.
422  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it safe to keep your money in bank? on: September 18, 2023, 10:04:25 PM
To be honest, there aren't any other options available to those investors who want to take risks with their money, because we all know that not everyone can handle the fluctuations in the crypto market. Moreover, there's no guarantee in crypto that your investments will only grow and not decrease, whereas keeping your money in a bank is generally considered safer. Banks even provide government assistance in case of a financial crisis, which is not an option in crypto. However, those investors who are not afraid of taking risks can certainly explore the world of cryptocurrencies. If you were to ask for my opinion, I would place more trust in banks rather than exchanges. On the other hand, if I were not to choose a bank, I would opt for hardware wallets instead of keeping my coins on an exchange. Exchanges pose a higher level of risk compared to banks.
It is true that money is safer in the bank and they've got products that you can use for your money that has lesser risk but more guaranteed profit.

The percentage of the rate that you'll earn from them won't be better than your potential profit in crypto. But with all of the banking collapse that has happened for this year.

We still consider it safe as long as it's backed by the government and do not put all that you have in there.
423  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Opinions on Native Coins/Tokens of Exchanges? on: September 18, 2023, 05:46:41 PM
Are you holding any native tokens that may boom?
Yes.

I think that it will boom despite that it has already boomed and why? Because it's still at the top list of the market and that's why I am moving forward that it will bring forth profits to me once the market is booming again.

As long as the exchange of it is doing well, I'll hold it. So far that despite the controversies that it had been in, I'm still holding it since I have no choice.
424  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What happened to Crypto Volatility..??? on: September 17, 2023, 06:24:32 PM
Well, things are truly different this time.

Although there's still some glimpse of the past and trend and how the market moved but, things do change for the crypto market whether you're a trader, an investor or just a speculator.

And there is one thing for sure that we're going to see and that's another trend shall pass and people will be hyped again but what could that be?
People would really be never be able to deny on what are those things that happened on previous years on which they would really be always a fan on trying to reflect out and trying to see if there are some patterns which they could possibly be able to make use.Volatility is never been predictable in the first place, we might be able to see some similarities but doesnt mean that it would definitely happen in the future. This is why people would really be continuing on trying out to mix analysis basing up on fundamentals+ technical just for them to be able to have at least the idea on where prices could possibly be hit up.
Combining that two gives everyone the idea on how the market will react.

But as said that many of them won't be as accurate as always even if you put them with a lot of it for so many times. And this market is all about that, test and mixtures of strategies.

Since no one can be against with volatility but you have to do your own thing for you to take advantage or go along with it.
425  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: A platform for Hiring Affiliates on: September 17, 2023, 04:48:01 PM
I have got many projects already and will have more, I would like to get a team that I could work with consistently,
It seems like building my own platforms sounds like a good idea Smiley
Thanks everyone.
Sounds really a good idea because you'll be having a huge team on this one but that doesn't stop there until you make one.

If you wanna hire people, you can post this opening on the Services and post the criteria and qualifications that you need to have on your team.

And take note that posts and offers on that section should be paid in BTC or USD. But if you're going to pay some altcoins, Marketplace (Altcoins) is the section for it.

427  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Mark Cuban's Metamask was hacked on: September 16, 2023, 12:16:58 PM
We just have to wait until investigators and freedom researchers will find the reason on how he's got hacked.

But just prepare yourselves that it's not going to be a surprising reason if it was actually him that f**ked. That has ended his wallet's private keys in the hands of the hackers.

Could be another email link that's sent to him and he's too gullible to believe its contents.
428  Economy / Economics / Re: [CHART] Bitcoin Inflation vs. Time on: September 16, 2023, 10:05:59 AM
Ya. Bitcoin inflation rate decrease every day.
While we agree that Bitcoin is a deflationary asset but its inflation isn't decreasing everyday.

Bitcoin’s monetary policy reduces network inflation with each confirmed block.
Well, its design for having a limited supply reduces the inflation thus it's deflationary crypto.

The largest reductions in Bitcoin supply occur on the day of each halving. This happens because every 4 years, or exactly 210,000 blocks, the reward for miners is halved. This is built into the Bitcoin code created by Satoshi Nakamoto.
It is about the block reward for miners that is being cut in half and not the supply. It is the most awaited event that we're waiting for, the halving signifies the bull run and increases the demand.

430  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is your take on Mt. Gox refund ? on: September 15, 2023, 06:05:15 PM
I think someone which was a victim from Mt Gox should need to post in this forum if Mt Gox is really distribute the money,
I agree but I think that it's gonna be hard to have that someone post his experience in here. Although they're not obliged to do it, there be some other platforms where one of them who receives the refund will share his/her experience.

hearing a news or from untrusted source are nothing as the medias always want to report news as much as possible.
Actually, it's been so long when we've heard them if they're done distributing it. But it seems that until now, it is still on the process and incomplete.
431  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Honest question, what to think about “crypto” affiliates or influencers? on: September 15, 2023, 04:59:26 PM
Better call them affiliates because they always give their referral link for each content that they make. Whether they're paid or not, AFAIK, it's still a different profit for them if they have successfully referred people and signed under their links.

But those links are also like a tracking link for their sponsor so that they will have the record if these 'affiliates' of them are effective marketers and contributes a lot to their marketing.
432  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: El Salvador has become the first country to make #Bitcoin legal tender! 🇸🇻 on: September 15, 2023, 03:47:59 PM
@wiskrillex, this is an English board so better post in English but if you want to type in your local language please find the local board where you can discuss with your own native/local language.

Today I decided to go back to my old school to teach the children just a little bit of everything I've learned from my @cuboplus teachers 📚📚 #BITCOIN    #elsalvador #BTC    #cuboplus 🧵
Keep it up.

I was just browsing and saw some few days old article about[1] El Salvador applying this of what you've done to teach Bitcoin in schools. And it should be implemented next year.

[1] El Salvador to introduce Bitcoin education in schools by 2024

433  Economy / Goods / Re: bitcoin on: September 14, 2023, 11:33:17 PM
What if you reverse that and someone here is going to sell you 2 Papa John's pizza for 1 bitcoin?  Cheesy

Well anyway, this is like a good half time break for those that are tired of the market to have some read like this. OP, I think you're hilarious and witty but you know the reality.

Anyway, thanks for giving us some funny moments here.
434  Economy / Speculation / Re: Michael Saylor predicts Bitcoin can go to $5 million? on: September 14, 2023, 10:27:35 PM
While the future is unpredictable and Bitcoin is volatile, to sum it up from people like him who invests constantly in Bitcoin together with his company.

It is no doubt that he's looking like a salesman trying to say to people that they should buy. But they cannot question that when he's putting money where his mouth is.

A million, $5M or even more is possible on a highly volatile asset like Bitcoin.
435  Economy / Economics / Re: I tired of Banks my experince with nyc high value Property on: September 14, 2023, 09:21:48 PM
@OP, you do what is the strategy that is working for you.

If staking dca is working for you, I don't know how you'd do that but if it's working for you then you have to do that for your own sake.

DCA is the best strategy that many have been doing for years and no matter what the market status is, you'll have to keep buying without looking at the present.
436  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Time to collect altcoins now or later? on: September 13, 2023, 11:46:55 PM
In my opinion, now is a very good opportunity to collect altcoins to invest, because currently the crypto market is still experiencing bearishness, but you should choose altcoins that are in the top 10 of the crypto market to invest
You're right and I agree. The market still seems to be bearish at all and once bitcoin is back to $30k and it goes continuously with that price upwards, we'll see the reaction of many altcoins that they'll be up as well.

Although it's a good strategy to choose the top 10 but, you'll never know if some of them will be there.

because altcoins that are in the top 10 have great potential to provide profits in the future.
They do but it is also being replaced every cycle except Bitcoin.
437  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to make a life by Day Trading on: September 13, 2023, 10:46:48 PM
Most of the day traders lose.
How do you know most day traders got loses?
I've no idea about the stats of loses or wins of day traders. I think there is no valid source that can describe/explain it. It is impossible to know the number of active day traders. However, if day traders are more aware about the importance of knowledge and emotion control, I think they will have bigger chance to succeed.

Ideally, there should be bigger number of success traders because we have varied sources for learning. When day traders are educated and mature enough, they won't easily get losses.
There is no need for any stats with that, ask the other traders or do it on your own and you'll get to see the real stats.

Many are just optimistic with their experiences and despite that many of them are losing, they've got passion for what they do.
And that's why many day traders are also prioritizing just to have more in their portfolios.
I think if a day trader got more losses than success in trading, he probably stops it. If he continues to have more portfolios, it means he is quite success in trading.
Yes, they have to stop when it's no longer working for them and all they need to do is to find another investing strategy so that they'll keep up with the market.

And what's that strategy? Holding.
438  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The future of Toncoin on: September 13, 2023, 09:59:19 PM
Sorry for necrobumping this thread but I think it's worth to update this one rather than creating a new one. Well, Telegram integrates now their crypto wallet and that's a lot of development. They really are pushing this and with their userbase I think it will be a worth to hold. Though I still doubt because there's lot of scams in their platform and it's easy for scammers to work in here even the introduction of their Premium.
Their TON also became one of the top altcoins in the market, so those who have bought this coin were able to profit as well.

I haven't used this feature yet about integrating their wallet to Telegram. But it's gonna be just like the Metamask.

I think every successful project are depends in there team work there roadmap there tokenomics etc .
If there team work hard and they follow there roadmap so many people make interest in this and Toncoin is a Telegram project so i think they work properly definitely they will be successful future.
And on this part, many didn't like the project but started to like it when they're gaining traction and has got some developments.

And that's why many day traders are also prioritizing just to have more in their portfolios.
If there's someone who would really make profits then its always that there'a always those people who do lose up the other side of the trade on which and this is really the basic principle that we do have in this space.

To those who are profitable then they are the ones who would be considered to be professionals or someone who are really that veteran on who could be able to handle themselves on this very volatile market.
We know that getting such skill is never been that easy and this is why we do really struggle on acquiring such skills which would be taking up some time and this would really be that lots of people been trying.
We know that there are different skill sets needed on what kind or type of trader you would be, whether you would be a scalper, daytrader, or swing trade or long term ones.

If you are making a life with day trading then you would be needing to face up that harshness of this market when it comes to volatility. You would really be that actively
be that checking out price movements every now and then.
Yes, there's always the two sides of the effects that we're doing. Those that are happily sharing their wins, won't show how much losses they've made particularly before winning those trades.

While for the most of the traders that we're seeing, those that does scalp trading. They're more experienced and has got the idea on how to quickly profit in the market.

They have also for sure suffered losses and that contributed to how they decide for each of their trades.
440  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is it advisable to invest on Solana? on: September 12, 2023, 10:59:19 PM
I agree that solana still has strength and this altcoin won’t die within short time, even i believe It'll increase slowly but as you agreed, investing fund into this coin solana even in spite of being Layer 2 (L2), isn’t really worth currently. so why should anyone thinking about solana's performance in upcoming bull season  while ether, bnb, matic and so many coins are also eligible for hold until next bull run
It has got a strong community already so dying won't be that easy.

Unlike the other cryptos that don't have strength with their communities, it's highly likely that they won't survive. But if Solana also shows how strong the project is, who knows if it will get more investor to believe in.

The chart shows that it's far from its ATH and too low, looks like a sale but you guys decide if it is.
