421  Economy / Gambling / Re: Betnomi | Project status & Refund Plan! on: December 15, 2023, 06:40:33 PM

I doubt that this will be helpful to speed up his case because there’s zero case of refunded user here so far since Betnomi create this thread and announce the plan. There should be some user that receive refund if they are really busy on processing refunds.

Bumping email will not help if they are not responding any of the refund claims since the beginning.

Of course they won't do single refunds.
If they send these, it will be in bulk transactions. Obviously figuring out the whole situation takes a lot of time. Not every request for a refund might be valid, there are enough clowns trying to take advantage of all the fuss and get a freebie or something.
It takes as long as it takes, their initial reappearance and and first post back is not even 1 month old. You can't expect miracles here.
I think all users thinking they would never see 1 cent from them should be happy there is still a chance. Personally I am also effected by this, not a lot of $ thankfully . Still I didn't expect a refund to be an option until I found this thread.

The problem is they are the one who give a 30 days window to withdraw balance of affected customer. This means that they should be active on answering emails since they only give limited window time to claim yet most of the user here reported unanswered email.

You’re right that Betnomi coming back for refund is already a miracle but my concern is why they need to have a window time on for withdrawal funds while they will take longer to analyze all the submission.
422  Economy / Gambling / Re: Betnomi | Project status & Refund Plan! on: December 15, 2023, 02:31:52 PM
It's not about that, you're not responding to emails.

2 weeks went by, no response via email, none whatsoever.

I think Betnomi is processing a lot of requests, so they can't respond quickly. You should try to send them some more requests and then maybe they will pay attention to your problem. I hope the casino support will solve your request.

423  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Beginners who considers quantities than qualities. on: December 15, 2023, 02:23:12 PM
Many posters think that writing a lot of lines is quality posting, but they are wrong. I have seen many fellows saying that your post should be between 4 to 5 lines to be categorized as a quality post. I am of the opinion that if you can explain your thoughts in a sentence, that will be perfect and might be considered as a quality post (based on content you write), and I believe no campaign manager will reject these kind of posts.

This is correct but most of the one-liner/single post here in forum are typically spammer and just stating the obvious answer that’s why some people have a misconception that a short answer means shit post.

The other reason why others are encouraged to post long is because the character requirements for signature campaign that’s why most of the post of campaigner is long to guarantee well thought post.
424  Economy / Gambling / Re: 1XBIT.COM ᐉ 7 BTC WB ᐉ Altcoin Betting ᐉ no KYC ᕗ Instant payouts on: December 15, 2023, 12:47:39 PM
How to recover my deposit funds please help? still they not giving me back my deposits.
You can consider it as loss since this casino has worst reputation here due to multiple unresolved cases like your but still they are updating their thread since scam is not moderated on the forum.

You can refer to their trust feedback when you click the trust of their official account. Sorry for your loss! You should consider doing background check next time before you deposit your money on casino.
425  Other / Meta / Re: Mixers to be banned on: December 15, 2023, 12:12:49 PM

Now that you are saying that, I am pretty sure that I was getting my months and weeks mixed up... so I was thinking $300 per month and it was probably something closer to $300 per week.. so yeah, my own memory was down playing the payment amounts... and therefore shows why so many members are inclined towards wearing signatures, and I did have a couple of years of wearing signatures, but after a while, I just was finding it to be too much of a hassle.

There’s already some campaign like from @icopress that doesn’t have minimum post requirements to get payment. Campaigns is now adjusting to employ quality poster like you in the forum by removing the hassle of meeting post quota.

426  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How many scams have you caught? on: December 04, 2023, 06:10:59 PM
I have seen many cases of fraudulent projects on this forum https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=83.0
What I want to ask you is how many times have you been caught in a scam project?
And what factors deceived you?
Please share your experience with me so that I can be careful in the world of cryptocurrency.
Thanks.

Many times before but due to my participation on bounty campaigns which I failed to cash out my tokens before the project turns to scam because I have high hope that it will be successful.

But for a scam project that I purchased, I guess I have one time when I purchase LUNA the moment it initially dump the price from 100$ to 5$. I thought it will still recover until my 4K$ turns to penny when LUNA price goes beyond zero and airdrop to a much worst LUNC token.
427  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Compounding altcoin profits in bull run? on: December 04, 2023, 05:49:20 PM
I know this is risky as it only takes one altcoin to go to zero to lose my money but I am ok starting with £100 - does anyone else do this?

I think every scalper and trader do this every bullrun that’s why the price of all altcoins in the market pump at the same time and dump hard those who pump hard because someone taking profit already.

I really don’t like this kind of method because you are just increasing your risk when you jump to other token after taking profit since most of the market pump at the same time. I still preferred taking profit in stable coins then wait for correction to buy back again on tokens that gave me profit before rather than jumping on new one.
428  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Money laundering in crypto casino on: December 04, 2023, 05:43:18 PM

I believe that casinos have some anti-mixer mechanism,  I am just assuming though,  because some exchanges already have such features in place to detect mixed coins,  and detect bitcoins,  this way every inflow from mixers may result in account limitation and investigations,  which sometimes is part of the anti-money laundering rules that comes with the license.

So we all have nothing to worry about when it comes to money laundering control in casino, The gambling system is more secure and it have a wager mechanism that puts every deposit at risk.
The mixing had their own special features compared to the exchange will give some mixer benefit. But the cause of the ban of the mixer because of the SINBAD mixer involved in the money laundering. But the crypto currency had their benefits. The new people was back to the crypto now because of the bull market in the crypto currency main the bitcoin price had touched 41k dollar now. This also increase the gambler to the crypto currency based gambling sites.Keeping the crypto currency in the exchange not give us more return like using the bitcoin in the gambling site. Most of the gambling site based on the crypto currency will have their own demand during the bull market of the bitcoin price.

Sinbad mixer triggers the restriction to mixers here in the forum but the real reason why Theymos ban them in general since this happened multiple times already for a short period of time while we all know how stricter the US authorities can be on platforms that promoting illegal services.

Let’s not blame Sinbad alone on this restriction because this will not happened if the authorities is not showing a possible threat for us here in the forum. I remember reading some of the participants of Sinbad mixers having problem on exchange since the funds that came from the escrow wallet is already sanctioned.
429  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do You Include Or Always Include Gambling In Your New Year's Resolution on: December 04, 2023, 04:06:15 PM
My question do you include gambling in your new resolution, and what's your New Year's resolution about gambling?

Let's talk about it.

I’ve done this before but trust me it’s only effective on the following months or weeks after new year then you will come back to your old habits of gambling especially if you keep reading or discussing gambling topic in the forum.

As a member of signature campaign that requires gambling post per week, it’s very hard to completely remove gambling since I get inspiration on it for my posting so I just control properly my bankroll instead of erasing it to my system permanently.
430  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Casinos after the shutdowns of mixers on: December 04, 2023, 03:47:16 PM

The important question here: how will casinos respond to this new landscape, and what measures will they take and implement to face the challenges posed by recent developments? Probably many users will join casinos for an alternative of mixer.

I created a topic related to money laundering on casino https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5476393.msg63263202#msg63263202 and ask this same question but I guess the difference between the casino to mixers was they have license to operate that involves KYC as complying to the AML policy. Casino is actively fighting money laundering while mixer doesn’t have any restrictions about money laundering since they don’t screen all the incoming transactions since they offer privacy with their customers.

Being centralized casino with KYC is still a blessings for us despite many of here always complaining about the casino KYC.
431  Economy / Gambling / Re: .com Bookmakers with GOOD first deposit bonus on: December 04, 2023, 03:24:03 PM

In italy they almost never void your bets, and if they lock your account (for example if you find that you are multiaccount), they are forced by law to give you back the money that was in your account.

Your hunt for a perfect bookmaker that fits to your description is almost nonexistent because of the criteria you mention here. Most of the casino here indicates on their ToS that they have the right to confiscate the profit or deposit if you are proven violating the ToS.

You can recover your deposit but all the profit including the bonus will be confiscated by the casino. No casino allow you to take profit if you caught violating the ToS unless you already withdrew all your balance.

You can use this list by @Mahdirakib https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5405581.0 as reference for existing promotion of all the casino here.
432  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Money laundering in crypto casino on: December 03, 2023, 05:03:50 PM
One of the main reasons why casinos have a wager requirement for deposits is to minimize the way the casino can be used to launder money as possible. It's through that they cant 100% stop scammers from using their system, but their policy is kind of protecting the casino from becoming overused that way.

So if by any chance any casinouser make use of the casino to launder money or mix their money and withdraw other forms of money from the casino, the risk they take is very high, as most casinos when they notice such random cash movement can sanction the owners account and KYC (if not requested from the first place) will be requested, and other forms of identification, which can make it easier for the scammer to be apprehended.

X1 wagering requirements is very easy to bypass using games with low house edge. Also money launderers wash dirty money which means they have nothing to lose with this kind of money so they don’t consider much the risk involved from gambling games unlike us that using regular money from our hard earned salary.

They can simply bet high on low house edge games then recover their losses from the rakeback of their loyalty rewards. I’m sure a money launderer account will be a whale user with max tier VIP level.
433  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Money laundering in crypto casino on: December 03, 2023, 04:33:10 PM
There is no threat to gambling sites because they are obeying the laws. They have the anti-money laundering policy.

But money laundering of a thing, if organizations that favors money laundering should all be closed down, no bank supposed to be existing again because they are used to launder money. Launderers just get a legit business, then use the business to launder money into bank.

Dirty money used in gambling are also mostly like this. Just as unclean money are in banks.

Yes I understand that but Binance suffer same fate by unintentionally allowing money transfers from terrorist group even though they later on catch them. I’m thinking if the casino don’t catch the laundering activity(since launderer is now very creative to make it looks like they are legit player) while the authorities trace the source of money of launderer and end up to the casino.

I’m not sure what will be the consequences by unintentionally allowing laundering on your service,
434  Economy / Gambling discussion / Money laundering in crypto casino on: December 03, 2023, 04:24:44 PM
We all know the recent issue about the mixer status here in the forum. Crypto casino is also being use for money laundering by some criminals that’s why every casino has AML policy.

I’m just curious what will be the fate of crypto casino once money laundering activity from mixer will jump to casino now that mixer will not be advertised here which means it has less exposure. Is there any possibility that crypto casino will be seized by the government just like what happened to mixers in case they failed to screen the laundering activity?
435  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do not gamble with Loan Money~otherwise you will be in danger like me on: December 03, 2023, 03:21:06 PM
Nothing can be more foolish than taking a loan from the bank and gambling with that money. Gambling is a completely uncertain thing, here you are more likely to lose, because it is high risk. Gambling addiction is the most harmful addiction. A person who is addicted to gambling has his life slowly pushed towards destruction. Just like the OP is two years behind in her life.

Getting a loan just to gamble is really absurd especially if the amount is too much which you can’t cover immediately using your upcoming salary. I think the only time it can be justifiable is when you loan a fair amount which you can cover easily using your upcoming funds that is just delayed for a few days.

I think you will get much better returns if you invest the money you gamble with long term in bitcoin or other good alt coins. That will be best for you.

Gambling and Investment is different to each other. You are playing gambling to get some entertainment while Investment is purely to grow your capital so it’s obvious that investment is really the right choice to have better return.
436  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Should altcoins be blamed? on: December 03, 2023, 03:16:02 PM
However my main interest here is solely towards those who have invested in crypto in the past. Most of these persons hate Bitcoin and other Crypto currencies due to the great loss they suffered from dips in alt coins .most of these losses were as a result of improper understanding and experience before attempting massive investments.Of course some early adopters of Bitcoin who sold or lost access to Their coins have also lost faith in the crypto verse.
My question is should altcoins really be blamed for hate some persons have for Bitcoin due to their loss in alt coins?

The blame should be pointed out to the trader themselves for ignorance on the real essence of trading. They will never suffer huge loss if they will not invest big regardless of altcoin since trading is just competing with other traders for better buy and sell price. Even without the existence of altcoin, There’s still a lot of users that will blame Bitcoin for their losses since there’s no way everyone will be in profit in trading.

They should blame themselves for not being prepared and educated on the risk associated by trading instead of blaming it to the token that they trading by themselves wothout anyone forcing them to purchase it

438  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can you make gambling a profession - a full time job on: December 02, 2023, 12:34:14 PM
But, in a broader sense, can you make gambling a career path, abandoning all other sources of income to focus entirely on it?
If so, why?
If not, please advise!

This is only possible if you already have enough capital that will cover your gambling activities for many years until you become stable. I believe gambling can be done full time since there’s a skill based gambling based such as poker and sports betting. But this is only possible if you are gifted with good set of skills dedicated for gambling.

There are many suers that is successful on sports betting due to their dedication and analysis skills. I believe doing this full time is really possible if the person has enough capital to do it.

Madaming apektado dito since napakadaming active mixer ang may campaign.

440  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling is not a steady income haven on: December 01, 2023, 06:33:34 PM
Of course those who think only winning in gambling they normally lose the most. There are some gamblers who do so much research that seems they will not loss. But when the results of their bets show up their reports convey great loss. I think there are times when you have to accept where you're sitting on the losing side but if you're lucky you can get big rewards. After getting a win in gambling one must prepare to lose. If luck is good there may be a chance to win a second time. Every time you win, your chances of winning will decrease and you will have to accept the loss. A gambler can never ignore loss.

Simply if you already done thorough research yet most of the result is then it only means that gambling is really not for you since you give already your best and still beaten by the the casino so I doubt that you can still have good run on gambling with having this kind of terrible luck.

Sports betting allows us to bet without relying solely on luck since every game can be analyze to have a decent advantage on your picks. It’s different than slot games that rely only on luck. Some people manage to have a steady income on gambling by relying on skills and it’s really hard to do it with just alone.
