421  Economy / Speculation / Re: Would you call it a success if bitcoin will stay at least $10,000 this year? on: May 11, 2020, 04:43:36 AM
Definitely, because the pump we are seeing now is the effect of Halving what matters is the price should be the same even after the Halving. The major impact is COVID-19 apart from that big whales are playing their roles in pump and dump not sure how much the price will go, few prediction the value will drop massively after halving so to me if it reach 10k by the end of the year that's okay..

Success for each person would be different and anyone who had bought at lower level and ends up at higher at the time of sell will consider him as a successful in making money from cyrpto. Though if compared to the same time that during year how btc has performed overall and how the coins has performed if bought late or sold early than there would be variations and this could lead to differ the answer. Though its being long long time before the btc has stayed above 10k for now and anything above it will be a really a good thing for now.

422  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What’s the best coin to buy apart from bitcoin on: May 10, 2020, 04:21:19 PM
There are no good altcoins to invest in, if you want to invest in them then you need to take the risk. The price of altcoins can collapse any time, even if you choose the top altcoins in this market, it is still at risk of collapse.

Considering for the longer duration the prices to buy on dips is the ideally the best and any such drop only helps us to get the good coins at better rates. ETH, GAS, BNB are some coins to look out for and also diversify the portfolio so that not dependent on particular coins only.
423  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: 1 JAN 2021 BTC WILL HIT 100K$ on: May 10, 2020, 03:21:44 PM
It is 1000% raise from now, maybe in 2025 at the end of bull run. Last bull run ended with 10000% rise in btc price from 200$ to 20k$

When moving from the single digit to double and then to 3 digits and so on in such circumstances the percentage rise is not the same. As when the numbers when small even a dollar upside yields good % movement as compared to when it has say reached 5 digit mark. So certainly, the rise may not be that exponential as it used to be previously and considering this it would take some time to reach 50k as well if that happens.
424  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why people run away from trading!!! on: May 10, 2020, 07:27:25 AM
There are various reasons as to why people may not be interested in trading as the reasons would differ from person to person. Though couple of my friends who used to trade have stopped because firstly it is not every one's cup of tea. One of the friends always used to buy at the highs and end up making loses. Second one used to buy based on somebody else recommendation and in this process end up losing almost his investment. Thus, finally they decided to quit for now.
425  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Hodl altcoins or..? on: May 10, 2020, 06:52:27 AM
Most of the altcoins has performed woefully for the past two years. XRP and NEO for example. Imagine holders for this past period and they have lost over 200% of the bull market price of 2017. Nevertheless, if someone believes in the future, then holding in the crypto space is for a long time

Some of the altcoins have really disappointed and though market has also fallen during those period but after that some coins have even risen but the mentioned coins has really disappointed to the extend as those were once the coins even I was looking to stay invested in for the long term basis. Yes it has fallen badly and investment done in such coins has resulted in losses for now. Hopefully some rise will lead to minimizing of some loses from it.

426  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2020-05-06] Bitcoin Halving: Bitcoin Could Be About To Make Another Major Move on: May 09, 2020, 05:52:18 PM
We are 6 days before halving and the price of Bitcoin has already started increasing.
Even if the graph cannot show something positive is about to happen, comparing to the previous halving event people and investors expect that Bitcoin price is going to go up and this is something that can push the whole market upwards by its own.

Considering the graph recently I was reading a article and came with a chart where the prices after halving for the next one year has jumped significantly and also previous year of halving the price has risen a lot. If going by this trend then I assume that coming year also we will witness overall a good jump in the price and can see again the new ATH.
427  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: May 09, 2020, 05:47:52 PM
Day after day Pogba is closer to Juventus  Cheesy, they only need to find the money now on this hard time.

https://i.imgur.com/I6r5oTX.png

Source: https://www.marca.com/
Marca making it look as if Real Madrid rejected Pogba when is well known that both Zizou and Florentino wanted him on the team  Roll Eyes It's crystal clear that Pogba has one objective which is going back to Italy. Pogba, Ronaldo, Dybala, sounds like my typical FIFA 20 career mode save lol

In other news, Rabiot trying to force a move to another team? He hasn't returned to the Juventus HQ: https://www.gazzetta.it/Calcio/Serie-A/Juventus/09-05-2020/juve-rabiot-insoddisfatto-tentato-premier-370835408444.shtml

We should not expect huge budget transfers this year and Pogba will be a high cost transfer. The football industry is having a difficult period in general this year. Although big budget clubs like Real Madrid are not affected, I think they will act realistically and make more modest transfers this year.

I am also actually waiting which all clubs buy and whom. Will the big transfers happen, though some clubs have big money so they can easily afford to but it will also be depended on how the world can overcome from this virus first and make the things normal for us to watch and enjoy the football back.
428  Economy / Speculation / Re: New ATH after halving? on: May 09, 2020, 01:32:28 PM
so far, the price of bitcoin is not very stable at $ 10k, and the price is still in the range of $ 9k to $ 10k. if bitcoin price movements after halving really increase, and have the potential to reach a new ATH, then it might happen later this year, or in 2021.

Recently, we have crossed the value of 9000$ which seems to be very bullish on the current price, but after halving there is chance for Bitcoin price. If it manages to stay at the current value, then we might see the new ATH by the end of the year. In crypto, anything is possible and we have to prepare for it.

It has touched 10k levels and now trading at 9700$ and to me it will continue to rise in coming time too. I was just looking at the graph and found that previously twice we had halving and 1 year from halving the market has given significant rise like couple of hundred % rise and this could just signify that we can still experience a decent rise form here too.

429  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Vaccine against Covid-19 should be made before sports events will take place? on: May 09, 2020, 11:51:29 AM
I personally feel that for any such big events till the time the vaccine is not prepared and trial and tested the big events will either gets postponed or will be cancelled. Nobody will be ready to take risks of their life just to put the shown on. May be if conducted may not receive that participation that would have otherwise in normal time.

430  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: May 09, 2020, 05:36:46 AM
I can confirm that Australia is in a good situation right now as the cases have been under control for weeks now however we are coming into our flu season which could see a spike in cases if the government starts opening up which they are talking about. Time will tell if Australia is able to keep it under control if they start to open up for people to start going out again.

That's great news. So there is still a chance that the World Cup would proceed as planned. Not just Australia, but New Zealand also managed to contain the infection levels. Australia is witnessing just 10-20 new cases per day, while for New Zealand the figure is 1-2 per day. And this comes at a time when the pandemic is spreading rapidly in most of the Southern Hemisphere countries.

Hopefully if we get the vaccine in coming month itself the chance rises very quickly to be held it the way it is scheduled. But if days keep passing by without the vaccine and more delay will just put this world cup under the threat and postponement will be the only option left.
431  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: May 09, 2020, 05:31:52 AM
Cricinfo is conducting a voting on your favorite of how cricket players are celebrating their high moments with select 15.
You may check and vote here : https://www.espncricinfo.com/story/_/id/29144937/your-favourite-celebration

#killboredom #lockdown

My favorite celebration is not listed here. During the 2007 World Cup, the Irish players (especially the bowlers Trent Johnston and Dave Langford-Smith) had a strange way of celebrating. It was called "the chicken dance". I still remember Johnston's celebration, when he took the wicket of Virender Sehwag during the WC match that was played at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium.

My favourite among this is the Shikhar Dhawan Thigh slap as this is so macho for me and he has the nag of playing with his moustache as well which for me looks so amazing. Also, for the thigh slap it indirectly also promotes the another sport which is Kabaddi and it has lost its some relevance now in the country and this is reminds people back and again of the another sport too.

432  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC rally has paused on: May 08, 2020, 04:37:47 PM
As you can see now, in the last two days bitcoin is going up, as always before splitting. Although the price stopped slightly a few days ago, in my opinion it will still go up above 11k. The rally will continue.

From last 2 days we have seen it rising really well and now reached 10k levels and momentum may continue and it is better if it rises slowly and steadily rather than a sudden rise and then a sudden fall which could be like a crash and more people will get into panic mode and starts to sell leading to more fall happening to it.
433  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🔶 YOLOdice.com 🔶 INVESTING BTC, LTC and DOGE is OPEN NOW on: May 08, 2020, 04:27:30 PM
A week later!!

~snip~
Hello!

I just finished creating an account in YoloDice and I am planning also to invest after some readings in the website? Can you please tell me more about your personal experiences in investing? Also, I have one noob question

After you have seen that your investment grows, can you immediately withdraw the funds from the website? or Is there a specific date withdrawal date?

Thank you! I am planning to add my XRP in my account.

Hi maus0728, I'm one of the users who watching/playing at YOLOdice for 3+ years. first of all, I'm not kinda super interested in investing in casino bankrolls. always kinda feel like I can multiply coins by rolling dice Cheesy. but I have gone through https://yolodice.com/#stats/investor (especially investment structure ) investment structure shows clearly about how much each investment made a profit so far and how long they been opened and % share in the bankroll. those figures made me more confident about investing. and also I knew a few users who made a decent profit by investing in YOLOdice bankroll in the long run. So far all my coin investments made nice profits just in a week(1.2% in BTC,6.2% in LTC, 4.2% in DOGES).it always feels like I'm rolling dice whenever they go up/down(investments). it's really fun watching the stats going up/down.personally for me weekly anything >= 1% is decent profit.

there is no such thing as a locking/unlocking period. you can anytime invest/divest your coins. the best part about YOLOdice is all the deposits/withdraws are instant :-) and I recommend you to read the investment faq https://yolodice.com/#faq (it covers all investors perspective Q/A)

This is definitely a very good share and experience shared for others as people may have doubts initially as everyone has at time heard or seen losing the money and those notions may continue for long time. But when people keep sharing their experience and also now for years site has been really doing well in terms of instant payment and withdrawal makes it lucrative for anyone to join and check out for themselves if it is working for them or not.
434  Economy / Gambling / Re: My urge to go to land base casino in this lock down and how I fight it. on: May 08, 2020, 11:55:34 AM
To us people who love to play gambling but the problem is the coronavirus and we cannot do anything even our desires wants us to push our selves to come into the gambling casino just to play but we all know that the most of the gambling casino land base are close because they don't want to get infected too and also one of the crowded places into the earth is the casino so there is more higher risk if you will come into those casino it is better to wait that the virus will gone also the casino must need to disinfect their places. If you want to play gambling we have now online gambling which you can play your desired games also you are in your home, sit back and relax does not have too much pressure came from the audiences but if you want to control your self and does not want to play gambling for a while

You can do this list
  • Do household chores.
  • Make gardening.
  • Bonding with your family.
  • Explore more and learn more. Do online class
  • Makes some art

Along with the above some more suggestion which include is like: -

Learn cooking if do not know and if already known try to make new dishes.
Do calls to people from whom you had hardly spoken in the past year or more than that.
Exercise it regularly at home.
Meditation is also important in this phase of life.
Play some board games or involve family in some fun filled activities.
Try to be innovative if somebody Birthday/Anniversary comes, and some surprise could be done online.
435  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Vaccine against Covid-19 should be made before sports events will take place? on: May 08, 2020, 11:51:23 AM
It's better if corona virus is already gone or everything is clear so people are safe to get that , I know many people are really wants this outbreaks ends so they can watch sports events and activites but we cannot do that because we are preventing spreading the virus to more people so our lives will back to normal after the lockdown better to wait maybe few months before they resume the events.

Everybody on earth requires this Virus to end as it has already destructed many economies of the world and billions of people life is already effected due to lockdown or very less sales as consumers itself is not sure if their job would remain in future or how the world could recover and how much time it will take to move back to normal life. This is really a daunting task and hope things get well soon before it becomes too late. Till then be it sports or gambling in casinos etc mostly have gone on hold for the time begin.
436  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Casino workers, asking for salary during the shutdown on: May 08, 2020, 07:58:33 AM
I heard that some countries began to implement a plan to gradually launch the economy. And above all, industrial enterprises received work permits. I wonder when entertainment enterprises (casinos belong to them, I think) will receive similar permissions? This would help casino workers no longer depend on the goodwill of the government or employer.

The situation is so difficult that on one hand if certain sectors are opened than they would also have to ensure that all the rules are being obeyed and followed so that in future there is no mess created due to opening of such sectors or industries and create further more cases. Some countries where the cases are drastically reduced can think or also doing it. But still the many countries are facing the issue and daily the cases are on rising mode itself. Also, some says that in coming time the cases may even rise much more than what exists in some countries.
437  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: the odds of winning the casino on: May 08, 2020, 07:49:43 AM
I like the way you calculate to win the casino, it looks promising. But don't be too optimistic beforehand, because the casino owner
must have realized that there must be some people who are trying to break up the casino formula he has. Therefore almost we certainly
likely always fail to defeat the house. Although successful it will certainly not last long.

This is so true, and this is the reason they own the casinos because at the end of the day they have to make profits and not do charity and some of them may be able to at times win it which is really good thing. But sometime things will change and if continue to gamble with big money people may lose it and this could be worst for those who have either got addicted to gambling by now or continue to still gamble inspite of several loses.
438  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: May 07, 2020, 04:37:20 PM
I wish we could have a reboot button to start all over again and stop this shit virus from spreading. I am frustrated sitting inside my house for nearly 42 days now.

I have finished most of the Netflix and Prime series. If cricket could have been played I would have enjoyed the lockdown with out any frustration watching the IPL.

LOL.. Imagine my condition. I don't even have a Netflix account.  Grin

Not a big fan of these web series... and I found Amazon Primevideos much more exciting. But nothing can be more frustrating than not getting to watch any live cricket action. I just hope that the T20 World Cup would proceed without much issues. As of now, the situation looks really gloomy. But who knows? We still have 5 months to go for the scheduled start, and Australia is really faring well as far as the pandemic situation is concerned.

I consider the end of this is only now vaccine and till the time we do not have the chances will be far less only even if OZ say has a very good situation. Thing will not be open on such big platform when it involves to players of the world and with so much crowd gathered. Also, news as such does not look anything positive that it will end soon.
439  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: May 07, 2020, 02:34:48 PM
That is so true. Controversy sells. That is how it is in real life regarding news agencies. Why should a headline saying "Jordan is a great dad" sell? That does not spark anything in anybody's mind. You say "Jordan is now addicted to gambling, losing millions" and that's something an ordinary man would pick up. So everybody's specifically writing that and let everybody else entertain themselves and their imaginations with it.
That's the media, they always report something that is negative because it catches the eyes of the many, we already know that Jordan is great both as a player and a dad, so it's not new anymore but they report that Jordan is gambling or has a gambling addiction, people will begin to speculate and that makes the story very interesting.

We don't even know exactly whether Jordan is great as a dad. That is beyond our interest and care. What I mean is Jordan has made a legacy in Basketball. He's a true legend. I am not sure if everyone else does, but I greatly admire the man as a basketball athlete. So whether he is an addicted gambler, a drunkard, a loggerhead, batters his wife, fathered a lot of children with different mothers, etc, that's a different story I don't care about. My appreciation for Jordan is his being a legendary athlete and not something else.

For me no doubt he is an class apart as a player. But at the end of the day he is human and there are some basic disciplines which cannot be compromised. Like if he is gambling legally, drinking legally etc are all fine but beating etc would not be tolerated and it is not even appreciated by anyone. But character also matter of any person and this make them the true legend as well.
440  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will You Play? on: May 07, 2020, 02:30:51 PM
Donation is voluntarily and compulsorily. So, this is definitely a forced donation which we will see. Also, not necessary where they are donating, or the list exists people may like to donate or would want to do their own way. Though again it will depend from person to person and I would have like the idea that for every win or lose the website donates an x% from their pocket to specified lists.
