Poloniex?

Pool.

People like you are why we have to wade through endless piles of horseshit to find an intelligent answer to anything on the internet. For fuck's sake, put some god damn effort into your response instead of trying to be a clever twat, or just shut the fuck up.

Since question is already answered billion times, I think you should blame
first poster more because you have to "wade through endless piles of horseshit"
4203  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: SRBPolaris V2.66 - BIOS editor for RX4XX and RX5XX cards on: July 11, 2017, 09:22:29 AM
Can you make application window resizable?

why would you need that?
It's 640x400, visible on even the smallest resolution Smiley

1. wouldn't have to scroll timings down (some RX 560 cards have 12 straps, and on default screen only 10 are displayed)

2. I could see whole strap when doing copy/paste so I dont accidentally select less characters (I know theres
"to upper" option for copying, but sometimes I like to put 1500 strap to 2000 while leaving all in between intact
for example)
4204  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Is 2gb graphics card enough for Zcash mining ? on: July 11, 2017, 08:38:03 AM
It will work but try to get like a 4gb

That is right. The 2G cards are too old.

Yet, old 1GB 7850 doubles the result of new RX 560 4GB, while been half the price

I'm mining it with 1GB Radeon 7850...160 H/s

If I understand correctly, the DAG is meant to be randomised on the fly, but I wanted to know 2 things :-
1) Is it possible to manually set the DAG Epoch?

or

2) Does anyone perhaps have an idea what is causing this issue?

Where did you hear that? Since I started mining its only going up
4208  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's Dual Ethereum AMD+NVIDIA GPU Miner v9.6 (Windows/Linux) on: July 09, 2017, 02:43:52 PM

I've built ASM kernels for Baffin (RX460/560) cards with good speedup for DCR/SIA/PASC and may be 1% for ETH, now I check what I can do for Nvidia cards. New version will be available in 2-4 days.
Impatiently waiting for this Smiley
I'm curious, would optimizations help your zcash miner too,
I find it strange that old 7850 1GB Radeons have 50% better
performance than RX560s with 4GB memory

It is not memory size related.
https://www.techpowerup.com/gpudb/2940/radeon-rx-560
Memory Bus:   128 bit
Bandwidth:   112.0 GB/s

https://www.techpowerup.com/gpudb/1055/radeon-hd-7850
Memory Bus:   256 bit
Bandwidth:   153.6 GB/s

But anyway I can get some speedup by building ASM kernels for Baffin.

While what you say is obviously true (reason why old 280X have superb ZEC and subpar ETH results, due to 384 bit bus)
I think there's still room for improvement, based on your recent work on ETH miner...it brought memory controller utilization
from 60% range all the way up to 90%, along with improvements in secondary coin mining

Currently your ZEC miner uses only 33% memory controller utilization on my card

Of course, I'm not programmer, so I could be totally wrong Smiley
4209  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's Dual Ethereum AMD+NVIDIA GPU Miner v9.7 (Windows/Linux) on: July 09, 2017, 07:54:29 AM
On my RX560s I noticed much better speed for secondary coins,
but ETH fluctuates more than before...also had to lower memory
speed, otherwise I get crashes where 9.6 worked stable (but I guess
thats because of more strain on cards due to more work done)

I also noticed that before 9.7 memory controller utilization was around
62-63%, and with 9.7 it went up to 92-93%

What about RX 560?
It's same. SRB is working good with RX 460/560.

I'm wondering too about sapphire nitro 470 oc 4gb
I know you just wondering Cheesy But what are you asking for? RX 470 is even in my benchmark.

I know...I should probably write that like  "what about rx 560, did anyone found/made good straps for Hynix/Micron?" Smiley

4212  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: RX 560 4GB Ethereum on: July 08, 2017, 02:25:20 PM
Edit: my mistake assuming everyone uses ETH for speed testing, but
at least I learned something new...EXP actually seems good option
for people with slow rigs mining to exchange wallets with big cap
on ethereum (0.5 on Poloniex, for example)
Excuse me, care to elaborate on this point?
What's about EXP that would be interesting to those with slow rigs?

On Poloniex, you can only transfer to wallet once you mined 0.5 ETH (used to be 1 ETH)
so transfer would occur about once per month (15 days now) for rig with 6 X RX 560
where all the cards chug at 14 MH/s.

With EXP, its all transferred to the wallet the moment its mined
4213  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: strapmod still live on: July 07, 2017, 06:00:28 PM
So, how much ETH is your R9 380 making now, since theres been
almost a year since you made article about BIOS mod?

Trying to decide if its worth the risk to try your bios on my
Sapphire 380 Nitro
4214  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: RX 560 4GB Ethereum on: July 07, 2017, 08:38:14 AM
Even among same manufacturer and model, ROMs could not be compatible..in my case,

I have four Gigabyte RX560s, but two are Hynix and two are Micron memory, totally

different timings and bios is not interchangeable...so if you dont know what to do,

extract your BIOS and post it here so someone can eventually check for you
4215  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: PNY is salty about mining. Changed their Warranty details. on: July 06, 2017, 07:04:14 PM
They now claim they will not honor RMAs for cards utilized by miners.
https://www.pny.com/File%20Library/Support/PNY%20Products/Warranties/GeForce%20Graphics/3-Year-Limited-Warranty.pdf

"THIS WARRANTY SHALL NOT APPLY WHERE PRODUCT(S) ARE USED TO ANY DEGREE, OUTSIDE OF NORMAL INTENDED
USE, WHICH SHALL INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO “MINING” (e.g., Cryptocurrency, Data Mining, Mining Farms). "

Might just return all my PNY cards that are within window.

Have any other companies made "Cryptocurrency Mining" a No go for their warranty?

*Here is a quick video regarding manufacturers and miners relation with inputs from the manufacturer companies.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P_oHQPWRWnQ&feature=youtu.be

Well damn... but I don't see how they would know it was for mining.

The BIOS just needs to check if any of the standard mining algorithms were executed on the GPU, such as SHA256, Equihash, Ethash, etc., and if such an algorithm is detected over a sustained period of time, then trigger an e-fuse to mark the GPU as warranty-voided.

THAT easy? We're all doomed

I think the 7850 does not work on ETH.

Thats why I asked for https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1670733.0 ?

hi guys, i have two RX 560 one Sapphire  pulse Overclock  and MSI aero ITX, i read all post here but never has read wich GPU model you can make bios mod. Can you help me ?

All of them

Sorry if this has been asked - the search feature is not working for me.

I'm curious if there are any coins other than BURST that currently use the hard drive mining technique or any coins expecting to do this in the future?  I was thinking of dropping a decent amount of money into it, but with it just being BURST that I know of at the moment I'm not sure it's worth it to get in at this point.

maidsafecoin (but not yet)?
