441  Local / India / Re: India cricket Discussion and predictions [self-mod] on: February 27, 2024, 03:55:17 PM
I was watching a discussion between two famous English veteran cricketers yesterday. The discussion was focused on how badly the team batted and how bad captainship resulted in the cricket series loss. There was one point that almost every Indian might have forgotten after this incredible team won the fourth test: the Indian side lacked big names. It was a team of new players some of them were debutants and most of them did not have much test cricket experience. Except Rohit Sharma, Jadeja, and Ashwin the team had 8 new players, and considering a few all of them gave their best in the fourth test. In all probable scenarios, I think 3 or 4 players will become permanent in the Indian test squad and in the ODI squad.

It is what makes everyone looking into the outcome makes them realize that this is a new team. I doubt anyone here would have thout about it as the way you did it. Good analysis and it is something that we never understood as we were all going after the outcome. Another game and the end result is that the outcome favoured us as a team of young players.
442  Other / Meta / Re: Report Malware and Suspicious Links here so Mods can take Action ! on: February 27, 2024, 01:13:11 PM
Thanks a lot, @Lafu for your thorough investigation and bringing clarity to the Telegram link. I did not have the confidence to check the link as it could have been malware and that was the reason I suspected it and reported about it on your thread. I have gone ahead and reported it to the globals mods and it should be now taken care by them.
You are welcome pakhitheboss and no problem , its better to report or ask and write about it if you dont know that Link before doing nothing.
I could have been Malware thats right but for me its just looking like another scam as many others with that Ref Links and stuff.
So all should be good as i have seen that all that Ref Links got deleted already for now , thanks pakhitheboss.

Thanks a lot once again! You have been handling this thread for a long time now and if you think I can help you with your objective then please don't hesitate to contact me. I will continue my contribution as a forum member and I will ensure that I check other local boards. I am planning to start looking at those boards first before contacting you as I feel such posts where referral links were used can be handled by the global mods.
443  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who was Satoshi Nakamoto? on: February 27, 2024, 12:19:49 PM
The post and those letters look quite convincing, to an extent they make me believe who are the real people behind that pseudo name Satoshi Nakamoto. I always believed that Satoshi Nakamoto was not one single individual, there should be a group behind it or a few individuals. The reason I feel intrusive is due to the person who claims to be an OG of Bitcointalk. This individual is attempting to solve a mystery that I was never interested in uncovering. I have always found nature beautiful, and I don't see the need to dig the earth. Unfortunately, this anonymous user has destroyed my curiosity.

As for me, I agree with mk4 reply on this thread.

Think about it though: if someone wanted to really be anonymous, would he put in small hints on who he/she is through his/her  anonymous monicker? Obviously not as it would totally be a bad idea. The S-N thing is likely just a coincidence.

I agree with his understanding of those revelations, which does question the authenticity of the post. To remain anonymous in those days was the best option to stay away from the CIA and FBI.
444  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is your expectation after the "Dencun" upgrade? on: February 25, 2024, 02:03:58 PM
Yo wrote so much without even understanding what this upgrade will do to the Ethereum blockchain. It is according to my observation a highly anticipated upgrade which is the reason why Ethereum price is pumping. The upgrade again focuses on reducing the transaction fee and scalability issue. This is not the first time Ethereum did an upgrade to solve the ongoing issues with its network. I doubt they will be able to solve it as the ecosystem of Ethereum is far bigger than itself. We would see many of such upgrades everytime Ethereum takes its ecosystem to the next level.
445  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: P2P Scams : Where does the government stand on: February 25, 2024, 01:31:07 PM
The way I see it is scammers are everywhere and you can't do anything when you get scammed. The options that we have is to not go for those merchants on a P2P exchange that doesn't have good reputation. These scams only happen when a user goes for a lucrative deal and such deals results in scams.

What you are facing @OP might have come from India. There are so many cases with P2P scams. What as a community we are doing is to focus on reputated merchants otherwise we as a community use local exchange. If you have local exchange in your country then start using them.

446  Local / India / Re: Suggestion! Access Banned International Exchanges with VPNs that Accepts Crypto. on: February 25, 2024, 01:23:13 PM
The way things are I doubt there will be any changes to the tax structure. What I think is the government going with the same tax structure but higher strict regulations. Ultimately they would force us to use local exchanges for every trade. The point is why a trader would use an exchange which is charging TDS for every transaction made. I am sure there would be option available for everyone if this shadow ban continues.
447  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Diamond (BCD) on: February 25, 2024, 12:40:44 PM
BCD was launched in 2017 and it was a fork of Bitcoin which ruled the CMC for some time. The reason why no one cares about this project is primarily because of the internal conflict within the team and the leadership that came out in the media. There were other reasons which were specifically because of technical issues as the developers did not work on the scalability issue, mining algorithm, and vulnerable security. It is a dead project as per my understanding and it is better that you forget about your investment in this shit project. If you do some Google search almost all cryptocurrencies that started as a fork of Bitcoin are either dead or are on the verge of becoming dead.
448  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Donald Trump's stance on Bitcoin is changing on: February 25, 2024, 12:31:16 PM
He is a politician and everything that he says is for his benefit. Considering his new statement on Bitcoin does not make him a Bitcoin enthusiast and someone interested in Bitcoin as he is a real estate guy. I think he saying it because of Vivek Ramaswamy as he was one of the big advocates of Bitcoin. I was able to find his vision about Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies in this article. We all know why he withdrew from the contest and it is his influence that has prompted Trump to talk about Bitcoin and his vision if he gets elected as a President of the US.
449  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to Buy Bitcoin and Bitcoin ETF Peer-to-Peer ? on: February 25, 2024, 12:13:38 PM
Depends on the country you are based as it is country-specific. In my country, you can buy Bitcoin ETF by going through a process and it is not that bad. In the US you can check this guide which is very detailed. If you are based in a country that allows their citizens to invest in the US market then use this keyword to search Google to find a proper guide.

How to buy Bitcoin ETF in the "your country name"

You should get a few or more articles that will work as a guide to buying Bitcoin ETF. We are a Bitcoin community that is solely interested in buying Bitcoin and not a piece of paper. We won't be able to guide you in buying a piece of paper as we can only guide you in buying Bitcoin depending on the amount you want to invest.
450  Local / India / Re: Beware! Gov Planning a Cracks Down on Crypto Traders Evading Binance Ban on: February 25, 2024, 11:41:57 AM
This is worst I never though government will stoop to such low in restricting people to earn some additional amount and I wouldn't blame the government but rather the citizens of India for voting such illiterate government and politicians to power and now it's time for payback.

But, really disheartened to see how government is trying to eat up to any profit which a traders make with so much of mental stress and hardwork, it's not a fair thing and if government tightens it's noose we cannot do anything ever unless they decide to change their mind. I hope it's just a temporary restriction until the 2024 election to avoid circulating of funds through crypto.

Nothing can be done as the ruling party is set to make a comeback in the upcoming election. I have very little hope now that things will change in the future. The shadow ban is now more like a permanent ban of the International crypto exchanges and the only option now left is to find new exchanges. Since I am still able to get access to the Binance app I am not facing issues at the moment. Whereas those who have not been able to log in to those apps are the ones searching for alternate options. I am planning to list down other exchanges that can be used by the Indian community as an alternate option to the banned exchanges.
451  Local / India / Re: India cricket Discussion and predictions [self-mod] on: February 25, 2024, 10:57:46 AM
All because of Dhruv Jurel the Indian team was able to make a comeback. Kuldeep also played an important part wherein he could stick on the nonstriker end with Jurel. I felt he could get his first test 100 but Jurel got out at 90 but was able to reduce the trail to 46 runs today. England has now a lead of 46 runs and they will try to add another 330 runs to get to a comfortable position. The pitch is now favoring the spinners as both Bashir and Hartley took the highest number of wickets. Bashir got his first fifer in test cricket which is an achievement for a young bowler like him.

Dhruv Jurel played well and yes he was unsuccessful in getting his first 100 in test cricket. The other thing that I noticed is that the wicket was very effective for spinners as the new guy Bashir was able to get 4 wickets. India started very well as Ashwin got all the important batters early on in the game and finished the second innings with a fifer. Kuldeep again bowled very well, he took 4 wickets and not to forget he was the one supporting Jurel when India needed to chase those runs. The lead is not so big and last when I saw India needed 155 runs to win the fourth test. Two days are still left but Indian batter have to take all their time to chase those runs and win the series.

.
.
He was a shit bowler and an expensive one, he reclaimed his position as a shit selector with his stupendous selection. Resting  Bhumrah for what, IPL? This test series provides an opportunity to rethink why Bhumrah is so important for India. This test again speaks that Indian new comers are working piece of shit. Only exception were Jaiswal and Gill, Jurel is still batting and therefore I can't say anything about him.

Cricket is a big political game too especially in India but don't get deep into that cause it always has been like that and possible stay in that way.

I just want to mention about resting Bumrah which is the right decision irrespective of IPL, he already played 3 test matches and the gap between 3rd and 4th is less so he should have recovery time and probably return for the 5th match. Indian pace attack did pretty good job especially the debutant so the blame should be about the batting unit which is completely under performed including Rohit and only exception is Jaiswal.
That is the reason why I don't come on this thread. I don't think that the Indian players justify that kind of fame. Currently there is only Jaiswal who is deserving but every time I open up the Jio Cinema app I see Gill promoting Bajaj finance. If they can go to those level why not us. Soory fir my vent and this is the reason why I have stop responding on some of the major cricketing thread.
454  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: February 24, 2024, 04:41:04 PM
England's spinners bowled beautifully but NGL I am pissed at the quality of umpiring in this match, there is no consistency with the umpires. When Indians were bowling umpire hesitated to raise their fingers and even when it was straightforward LBW. In contrast, they were itching to raise their fingers when Indians were batting. 3 umpires call and 2 LBW calls came when it was brushing the stumps and looked not out to the naked eye. Call it luck or whatever but the 90% of decisions went against India.

I'm sure Stokes would have no problem with umpires call today Grin

Anyway, I also feel umpires call should be removed, let ball tracking decide, either it hits the stump or it don't.
Well, Ben Stokes & Co were claiming a catch of Jaiswal so the less i say about him, the better.

I also don't like the umpire's call but it's a rule and considered the best possible solution by all the pundits so everyone should follow the rules unless some new tech replaces the DRS.

The problem comes when the Umpire shows no consistency with their decision. I can understand it's based on human error and mistakes do happen from the on-field umpires and I can understand 1-2 calls going against anyone in 2 days of gameplay but FFS 7-8 decisions and every decision going against only 1 team.

Stop arguing on irrelevant topic when you don't know the future. Whatever you are arguing about doesn't changes the result wherein Indian team is deep stuck in the mud. The mud is being spunned by one spinner who succeeded in getting 4 or 5 wickets. What is going on is not to be blamed on any batters but BCCI because of that shit Agarkar.

455  Other / Off-topic / Re: Cryptospace influencer fight!!! Bitboy versus More Light!!!!!! on: February 24, 2024, 01:29:14 PM
I do not think this post should be on the Altcoinboard as it does not make any sense about two stupid and highly overrated YouTubers fighting each other. What the heck of a difference they would be making with this fight in the cryptocurrency market or innovation as it does not hold any significance?

This board is already getting numerous spams every day and you are only making it worse as a legendary. memeber I mean what were you thinking before posting about a match-up that does not reflect anything about altcoins or introspect about them?

@bbc.reporter please do not take my opinion as a personal suggestion as I have replied with the thought of making this board clean of spam. What you posted is good news but it does not bring any relevance to the board where you posted. Please move it to a suitable board I feel that this post should be either on the off-topic board or the gambling discussion board.
456  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Brainwallet pass on: February 24, 2024, 01:11:57 PM
Hi, can the sites below actually find the password of a brainwallet using words? Or is it just entertainment? How are they connected to the Blockchain to know all this?

https://allprivatekeys.com/try-your-passphrase

https://secretscan.org/PrivateKeyWif

Do you have the seeds? or you are only referring to the password. Sorry, I just checked it and it is about seed phrases which I do not think you can ever recover. The reason is that most Bitcoin wallets allow their users to always create a backup of their passphrase. If you have not then you cannot access your coins as that is the key to accessing your wallet. I do not want to be rude to you but your past post suggests that you are not the owner of the wallet that you have. As per me keep hunting the passphrase as you won't be able to find it for sure.
457  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Justin Bons Said Ethereum is More Decentralized Than Bitcoin on: February 24, 2024, 11:56:27 AM
What I think here is that this guy dares to compare Ethereum (shitcoin) with Bitcoin. In simple words those who founded Ethereum as still active and hold a lot of pre-mined ETH while the visionary of Bitcoin known as Satoshi Nakamoto is even a human or a group of humans still unknown. What is alarming about Ethereum is now using POS which is a centralized model and Bitcoin won't have any protocol changes like Ethereum did which makes it more decentralized. The only reason everyone wants a piece of ETH is because of its ecosystem as without it you are into a ditch.

459  Local / India / Re: India cricket Discussion and predictions [self-mod] on: February 24, 2024, 11:32:12 AM
What a disaster for India they got the England set batters out after great difficulty and now more than half of the Indian batters are out. This is just like the first test and England are ruling the fourth one. Except for Jaiswal, Gill, and the current batter Jurel, almost every other batter was out cheaply. Cannot comment on the overall batting of Rohit as he is the captain and he has been leading the way in the series with poor batting. India still trails by 134 runs and I have a feeling that they won't be able to get those runs. The fact that most of our star players are injured I would love to see them taking a break while their team plays in IPL.
